I really enjoyed how the menu is laid out . You pick your toppings from the menu ( have a lot of great combos to pick from), your patty type (beef, mushroom, chicken, wagubeef and beyond meet for the vegetarians). Then you pick your sides and bun type. I had the son of a beech of a beef paddy and multi grain bun. The sauce on this was delicious; the patty was pretty good. The server also gave me extra sauce for my chips which I really appreciated. Also found their prices to be very reasonable.

Always amazing food. I really appreciated that they asked if my request for gluten free was a preference or an allergy. This really makes a difference as a Celiac. Because they are extra conscious of the cross contamination and transparent about the uses of the fryer for things other than fries.

Really disapointing!!! I just orderd a Juicy Lucy with the stuffed cheesy patty and there was no cheese in it, at all. Felt like I was robbed $20 bucks.

I ordered a nutella milkshake and the kevin bacon burger. The milkshake was delicious and the side of spicy chips that came with the burger were a real treat. The burger just wasn't good. They seem to focus on toppings rather then the actual meat. The ground beef could have used some seasoning. My girlfriend's burger was under cooked but they fixed that pretty quickly. Our server was excellent. Would have given 4 stars if the burger was cooked.

Sloppy, satisfying, and without a doubt the most salubrious burger experience I've ever had. Insane variety of toppings & sauce - pairing any option with your beverage of choice is sure to delight. Extra effort was put into cooking the meat to my specification which is highly appreciated. Overall 10/10 would feast again

One of the best burgers restaurant in London Ontario I ordered Smokey Burger without bacon and lettuce bun and I poutine for the side. It was very delicious and tasty. Don't forget to ask for Cayo when you go there he's one of the best servers in the restaurant.

Amazing burgers. They only do one thing but they do it right. Everytime i go here i leave with the thought "why dont i come here more often" not to mention the staff seam to actually like it there. They are friendly, fast and amazingly tasty. Plus the all you can eat fries if their 9 pound burger somehow doesnt fill you up. Great place for a hang/guys night.

Wait staff was friendly, and helpful. Everyone is patient if it's your first time, since ordering can be a little overwhelming. Huge selection and variety on the menu. You're going to get a great burger! I personally think it's a little overpriced. I don't think of sweet potato fries, onion rings, or Caesar salad should be considered an "upgrade." They all cost a few dollars more than a garden salad, or french fries. And then to add a 15-20% tip on top of the upgrade costs... it's a little too much.

Every time I've stopped into this place it's crazy busy and the wait times for a table have averaged 30-40 minutes. The wait wouldn't be SO BAD if they had a bar or seating area. Instead, they'll have you line the hallway leading to the bathroom. Food is good but they've outgrown their current location.

Delicious chipped fries, a huge selection of burgers, and fantastic vibe make this a 5-star joint for a dinner out. Sauces are amazing. Tried the Wagyu which comes from Alberta—it was okay. I’d recommend the elk or the regular instead (not sure the extra $ made any difference). Drinks come in fun pyrex glasses. Milkshakes are to die for!

While not part of my regular restaurant rotation, The Works is always a great spot to toss in for variety. It's clean, service is decent and the food is fantastic. If you're looking for some decent pup style burgers, this is the place to be. The fries are perfect too!!

Before 3pm they have cheaper smaller versions of some of their best selling burgers. Im in love with the hamburger Mary. Can be quite expensive for a burger if you go for dinner but it is a filling meal and they have a few fun gimmicks.

The food is good, the service is fast. The presentation is a bit pretentious (see super cool lightbulb salt shaker that pours almost no salt and the thick glass measuring cup glasses), but definitely worth the experience. Born to Brie Good is an excellent choice, and it's fantastic to see a restaurant donating part of profits to a good cause.

Fantastic burgers! Had the Obi Wan Kenobi burger which was out of this world. I couldn't help but order a shake and sweet potatoes fries for my side. A tower of rings, the cheese dip with bacon and wrecking balls. Everything was delicious. Service was great too

If I could give this place more then 5 stars I absolutely would. The food was amazing!! The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. I had their Crappy Tire burger with their gourmet veggie patty. It was by far the best veggie burger I've ever had. Our waiter was so personable and kept joking around with us. They were incredibly busy when we went (35min wait for a table). Once we were seated, our waiter came right away. The drinks and food also came quickly. I definitely recommend this place.

The works is great there is a wide selection and the cost is pretty close to a fast food burgers place. The quality is much higher though. The service is hit and miss, if you get the big guy you get an attentive waiter who is quick and friendly. If you get one of the girls , make sure you order everything you want before they walk away because you'll never see them again. Apart from seeing them talking to eachother ignoring customers across the restaurant. The food is stupendous , though if you are not used to eating heavy greasy food you will leave feeling terrible. I'd recommend it if you are looking for a fantastic greasy burger!

Husband & I went on a rainy Friday night. Very small restaurant - was packed to the brim but we were seated immediately. The burgers are so delicious - try the veggie burger, you won't even know it isn't meat (confirmed by my meat loving husband), it's so good. Love the fries too! Service was excellent - don't know where other people are having issues though my feeling is that you usually get what you deserve. Despite it being packed, we had no major wait (other than the food - which is worth the wait) and we never even had to ask for refills on our drinks, people were at our table before they were even completely gone. Yes, it's a bit on the pricey end but if you want cheap, there is a McDonald's around the corner - enjoy your $1.79 McDouble. As we left, they even gave me a garbage bag to cover up with since it was POURING rain. Will definitely be back!

This place is a burger factory. They got so many burgers they barely fit on the menu. Seriously though it's hard to make a decision. I suggest the Tom Green burger because he's Canadian and it's got avocados on it. Delicious. They have an Elvis burger and a Trump burger too. A very creative menu with lots of satisfying choices to wet your appetite.

Pretty good experience at this restaurant, although we were only here for a short period of time. The poutine and the onion rings were pretty tasty. Onion rings were a decent portion (a little pricey maybe), but you get A LOT for the poutine! Good place to go to for greasy spoon type of food. Also, seemed to be family friendly.

I visited The WORKS just a few days ago after a day trip to Grand Bend. One of my friends has been demanding that we one day visit this restaurant if we are ever in the area, or she would drive us ourselves because we would fall in love with it just as much as she has. We went in a group of 14, and they were quick to accommodate us. We had our table ready in less then 5 minutes, and were seated soon after. First things first, service was top notch. The wait staff were quick with water refills, and the fact that everything was served in measuring cups had us laughing. They offered friendly chitchat and handled our large group with ease. Secondly, the food was absolutely delicious. I got myself the 'Gettin Piggy with it' burger, with bottomless fries. True to what my friend said, it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Canadian bacon, regular bacon, and crispy onions on top - along side my addition of ketchup and mustard. After we were finished, we sat around for a few more laughs and friendly comments with the staff before we made our journey home out of London. They were quick with the bills, which was surprising since again we came with 14 people, but they were all happy with big smiles. Overall if I'm ever in London again, I will be making a stop just for the works. They truly know how to work a good burger. Thank you for the experience!

BEST BURGERS IN TOWN, TRY AND CHANGE MY MIND. I love absolutely everything about this joint. The staff members are amazing and the ambiance is great and the food is even better. I like their style of service and they have such a huge variety of burgers. There really something for everyone. They have 2 options for vegetarian Patty's, the beyond patty and the veggie patty which were both amazing. Definitely recommend this place!

Always a great meal! Every time I visit I try a different burger and it's always great. They offer tons of options for their burgers including gluten free buns or lettuce wraps. The gluten free buns are one of the best I've tried. They are careful with cross contamination and all the ingredients that should be gluten free are, there are very few items that contain gluten. Their deep fryer is contaminated so you can't have anything deep fried if you're celiac but they still have lots of options. The server was great and I felt very safe eating there. The only thing they could do better is that it was a different server who brought my burger and he didn't know if my burger was gluten free. With an allergy its always nerve-wracking eating out so confirming while serving the meal is always best. I will definitely be back!

I visited this restaurant in mid November for dinner with friends. Oh my, worst experience at a restaurant in a long time. The food wasn't terrible, but it was not great. Not as good as say Kelseys or Swiss chalet. The decor was almost not noticeable..no effort put into it. The worst was the customer service. We were a party of six and waited well over an hour just to get to our seats. The seats we got were not even for six people. They gave us a booth for four with one extra chair. Terrible..Then the waiter told us that it will take more then 30 minutes for food and to lower our expectation. Wow just wow. And finally, the washroom had one stall and one urinal for the entire place. There Is at least 50-75 people in this restaurant! The door on the stall was not even put on correctly. I could see right through it. I am happy to say that I will never be going back to this restaurant ever again. I highly suggest that you do not ever consider this place.

Our experience is coupled to the food and service, obviously. The food was good. The burgers are certainly delicious but not the best ever we have tasted. The service was mediocre with high points when there was a new server who was friendly and not acting like he was rushed in a half empty restaurant. If you take the hype out of it, the food quality was good. However, the final bill was not reflective of the kind of food we had consumed. It was way too pricey for what we had ordered - 2 burgers with different toppings, bacon wrapped cheese, small ice cream shakes and side of onion rings. I would have gone to a high-end restaurant instead.

I've dined here about 4-6 times over the past 5 years since I've discovered it which is a lot for me. The burgers are so good and creative. I had the gluten free option today since I recently found out I'm gluten intolerant and it's not bad. I usually dont eat bread though so I dont have a lot of experience with gluten free options. The only reasons I gave 4 vs 5 stars is because its downtown (paid parking) and the bathroom smells too much of chemicals but I could also smell urine. That makes me think it's not cleaned very well.

Drinking soda from a measuring cup is cheeky, but depressing when you get refills because you can measure how much you are drinking. ☺️ The burgers were impressive, and I would need to visit multiple times so I can order the variety of foods I wanted to try. Overpriced and the burger certainly did not even remotely resemble "a taste of heaven." It was obvious that the meat was frozen, flavourless, unseasoned and just very disappointing. I expected more for $20.19. My partner's caesar salad was equally uninspired, and certainly not worth $18. I will go get a big mac next time I want a "gourmet burger", or better yet, I'll get my own beef from the butcher, season and marinate it myself. Never again.

The burger was really good. The spicy fries are better than other places i have been. Salad and veggie burger were tasty as well. Juicy even though they cook to well done. No shortage of toppings. Really busy when there is something on at Budweiser gardens but they keep it moving. Plan on waiting at least 30 minutes. Their wait estimates are accurate.

These guys have a lunch-menu that is very affordable considering how expensive restaurant food is becoming these days. The burgers are great, tons of options and their kettle chips + beech-house sauce is amazing. The onion rings here are also some of the best ones I've ever had. Service is consistently good and I like that they serve pop in big measuring cups. This is a burger restaurant done very well!!

This place is awesome. A bit of a higher price between $15 and $20 but it is phenomenal food...I can not stress that enough...amazing food. The burgers are very juicy, they have a great selection and the atmosphere is industrial. I highly recommend The Works. You'll leave with a smile on your face and your stomach full.

We were six people for lunch. The menu was unbelievable, every type of toppings you can image to choose from. Then we had to choose the type of meat/veggie for the patty and third you get to choose the type of bun/veggie. The staff were so friendly, the service was great and they informed you that it would take 15 - 20 minutes to complete your order. You can choose from various types of potatoes as your side dish or rice. Was the best hamburger that I have ever eaten and will definitely will return for lunch another occasion. The waitress explains everything to you regarding their menu and in what order to choose the items you want for your hamburger. Prices were very reasonable and our ice tea came in a 4 cup measuring glass which was unique. Would highly recommend "The Works" for a great hamburger experience.

My husband and I visited on Friday afternoon around 4:30, the waitress seated us the worst seat in the restaurant which is a tiny table on the far end against the wall, even though the place is half empty. After I repeatedly requested to switch seats, she finally showed us to a 4 seater, she told us that we will have to move if the restaurant gets filled up. I just didn't like the set up of the restaurant, it's cramped and tight. Food was ok, my husband enjoyed the grill chicken burger, but it's very salty. I am not used to the medium-rare burger, and it's done unevenly, some part are pink, some are a little too rare for my taste, I wish they would have asked how I like my burger done.

This place is amazing! If you are looking for a gourmet burger this is the place to go. The beef in the burgers tastes amazing and there are so many types of burgers to choose from. It is a bit pricey but it is worth it. For the downtown London Ontario location expect a long wait for dinner when the London Knights are playing on Friday's and Saturda's.

Alright so I must've heard 20 times that this place has the best burgers in London... so finally we came here. Not gonna lie, the burger was good but was not amazing like I was expecting. And the caesar salad tasted like mayo on lettuce (didn't even eat it). Maybe I just went on a bad day. I would give it another chance. On the plus side, the atmosphere was cool and the staff were all pretty chill.

Delicious! So many options, and I was so impressed by the patties, even the turkey and veggie were amazing, a feat seeing as these are often dry or tasteless. I had the down under, and while I wish the pineapple came through a little more, the overall flavour of the dish was awesome. I'd recommend a fresh side because these burgers are huge, but they fortunately have a few different options for this. The atmosphere was also super cool. A good place to go for toppings you can't get anywhere else.

Delicious burgers and fantastic service - prices are a little high but I always leave feeling more than full. They also have bottomless fries, although I've never actually got them as I'm usually far to full by the end of my meal. Really recommend the Down Under burger with Chicken - it sounds weird with it being pineapple, beats, fried egg, and Gouda cheese but its actually quite good!

I got the most expensive Burger, but I was disappointed with the works: 1st I can't eat pepper and ordered the burger without pepper in the menu, but it comes with pepper anyway. 2nd I request medium rare Burger, the attendant told me I couldn't have medium rare and brought a medium well Burger. 3rd I paid more for a wagyu Burger, but even I'm paying more the meat was much smaller than the regular one. This isn't informed on the menu. 4th the meat was almost saltless. The salt shaker doesn't work, I need to take the cover off to use. 5th even the place being half empty the attendant had no patience, wasn't polite enough, always rushing us and speaking too fast, seems that she doesn't want to serve a foreign people table. Anyway, my wife and friend had a better experience (with the Burger, not the attendant), just because of that I gave 2 *

Busy Thursday night, although this place always seems to be busy for both lunch and dinner. I've been here many times but this time was special; my server was super chill, and my burger was the best f***ing burger I've ever had at this location. The tower of onion rings is my personal favourite, and we burned our mouths eating it 5 minutes after ordering. I was very impressed with this place tonight. This restaurant is the perfect place to bring friends or family (or dates!) for a casual and tasty meal!

Just over rated, poor customer service. It was good but the poor service just wasn't worth it. Be very careful what you wear in there. The tables are unfinished and one of our party had her shirt ruined! The staff were unprepared and unprofessional in handling that. They said the "GM" would follow up the next day and never did. All round bad experience. There are many better burger places, save yourself the parking hassle.

I've been here with my friends for lunch. We were a group of 14, yes you heard it right ????. The management was perfect they handled the situation perfectly, we had to wait for the tables to be arranged. The ambiance was great and the staff was too good. It was a very warm welcome. Not everyday is Sunday and yeah we had to wait for our food for about 20 minutes which is acceptable as he got all the orders at once avoiding the awkward moments of few waiting. The food was tasty and the best part is you get to choose your bread, Patty and toppings. We tried almost everything and I think onion rings were abit oily and I liked the French fries. I rated it 5 even though there was a bit of wait for the tables and food because they know how to handle the situation better. #Cheers

Ordered the kobe wagyu beef patty with extra blue cheese for a take out. Beef’s not dry. Medium well which is good. A little buttery taste but not that mind blowing or what. Maybe i was expecting more since it was a “WAGYU” and at a $23 a piece! ???? Bun’s good, creamy. Ingredients are fresh. Could use more spread for the whatever burger sauce like maybe some garlic aioli or somethin’. Caramelized onions was extremely flavourful and well made. Nice! The burger was very tasty and looked as good. The fries were good too but the portion was quite small as were the fries themselves. At least half of them were no longer than an inch and a half as though they were from the bottom of the bag. The service was prompt and friendly. Over all I was a bit disappointed that essentially it cost $20 for a typical cheeseburger. Not worth it.

I've been to several different Works locations, and this is one of the better ones. Parking sucks (pay parking unless if you're lucky to park on the street) but the employees are very nice, and the service is top notch. Edit: Switching to Pepsi is a mistake, in my opinion. I want a burger and a coke. Pepsi doesn't cut it, so sadly, I eat elsewhere when I go to London, now.

Love this place, really good burgers and a nice selection of beer. One thing I will say is that the wait time is a bit long, but worth after eating :)! My favourite would have to be the Elk Burger, I love goat cheese and it just really makes it a good burger with the avocado and the roasted tomatoes. Wish there was more of a selection of desserts, but it is a burger place. The servers are really nice, friendly and approachable.

We were celebrating a friend's birthday, so we were a good sized group. We didn't have reservations and we were there very close to noon but we didn't wait long for our table at all. After we were seated, our server explained the menu to us, which is a necessary step since, like the burgers, it's HUGE! There is an endless choice for burger toppings and you get to choose your bun and protein and yes, even vegetarians and gluten-free folks have choices. A couple of our group ordered the 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon burger and if that's not enough bacon for you, then you should probably check yourself into bacon rehab. I ordered the a peppercorn crusted burger and when they say peppercorn crusted, they aren't kidding. It was pretty fabulous. The burgers are enormous and they are served with generous portions for the sides, so it's a big meal. Only the big eaters in the group managed to finish it all. The service was great, the food was excellent and the atmosphere is charming. The only reason I knocked off a star is because I found it pretty pricey for a burger joint. Considering what you get, that might not be entirely fair, but to make this review truthful, be aware that you'll be in the $50-$75 range for a couple with a couple of drinks. Would I go again? Hell ya! But financially, it is a special occasion place, not a weekly place.

Great place, amazing service, waiters know their thing and can easily suggest what you would like based on your preferences. The Barking Squirel beer was a great suggestion. Haven't tried the burgers yet, but I heard they're really great. And they do offer the 'Beyond meat' option, which is great if you want a meatless burger. Really cool looking place. Excellent service. Lots of veggie and vegan options. They serve Beyond Meat burgers which must have a different recipe than the ones at A&W because these did not have an aftertaste that comes back 4 hours later like they do at A&W. You can also choose a portobello mushroom patty if you're into eating fungus. Anyways, my meal was great and my daughter loved hers and well (she's a meat eater). The fries and spicy die cut chips are both delicious. The only drawback is it is a bit pricy for burgers.

The hamburgers are okay but a bit overpriced for me. I feel they have a lot of options but they are just slight differences of the same thing. A cheeseburger with caramelized onions or an egg or a bit of avocado is three different burgers in there menu. It is not a great part of town to find parking so I do not think I will be coming back.

Be prepared to pay around $20 for each plate,so for me once or two times per year is good enough $$. Unlimited fries if you choose it like side. We were 4 people and paid $90. No wifi, before 6pm you have to pay parking after, if you find a spot on the street is free.

This is such a great place to go for burgers. They are big and full of yummy goodness. I opted for the Tower of Onion Rings and they were delicious. They have large and small milkshakes which are so filling so you may want to order a small. Hubby had the hubba hubba- peanut butter on a burger- no thanks. He loved it. Be prepared to wait, there is usually a line up and no reservations.

Always a good variety of burgers. The meaty burgers are done right no matter the type of meat. The only disappointing one was the mushroom burger, but perhaps comparing mushrooms burgers to the meaty ones is asking for too much. Just prepare to feel bad after summing up the calories that the menu shows you.

This was by far the best burger ever!!! We were in London for our son's medical appointment. We choose this place because of the gluten free option as my son has Celiacs. The waitress was amazing with talking us through ordering for my son and knowledgeable about cross contamination being of high importance. It had been a stressful day as we had got into a car accident prior to our appointment and we were trying to deal with insurance and taking a long time at our table but the waiter, Kyle ( a fellow Windsorite), was very gratious and told us to take our time and kept checking in on us even well after we had paid our bill. Thank you for going out of your way to be so kind and considerate to a family that was having a horrible day.

We were welcomed when we came in at 5:45 on busy Saturday night. I was told we would be getting a table in 20 minutes and that our name was to be added the list. The hostess gave us menus to browse over while waiting as well. 30 minutes later a guy walks in and says he is expecting to meet with someone and is immediately ahead of us and other waiting patrons. five minutes later a couple who arrived after us is seated. 3 larger groups which arrived later are sat down ahead of us. Next comes in another couple and they get added to the list. After that couple waits just five minutes and they are then immediately seated. At this point we had been waiting for 45 minutes and decided to leave as they appeared to not care about us. We ended up walking around the corner to Friday Knight Lights and had delicious perfectly cooked burgers for about a dollar less.

I was there on September 21, 2019 with my son and daughter-in-law; we were in town to see Dweezil Zappa and his band. None of us had ever been to the Works before but my DIL saw all the great reviews so we thought we'd try it out. We were not disappointed; the complete opposite in fact. A great place with excellent food and really efficient and pleasant service. I loved the construction site decor. There was a real sense of good humour to the atmosphere. It turned out (because I asked) that our food was brought to us by the manager who was working as hard as anyone else. They were very busy and he was out there along with his employees, helping any way he could. He was also very funny: "Alright, who ordered the salad in the burger joint?" Having worked in the service industry, I am always impressed by a manager who helps out, and it is my belief that he is the reason for the wonderful staff who provide such exceptional service. It starts from the top, and good management means happy staff and great service. We will surely be back on our next visit to London.

Burger chain offering enough options to make your head spin. There are options for everything, from the buns and toppings to the patties themselves. Good for vegans and vegetarians as well, as they've recently begun selling Beyond Meat burgers in addition to their standard fare. Expect large portions and a little bit of a wait, and you will not be disappointed.

The Works does an excellent job. Finding a niche in a market that allows you to provide so many options can be challenging; I'm sure especially in the restaurant business. The Works remains grounded to its main dish which is Burgers. The Burgers are over the top. From a Donald Trump burger to a Justin Trudeau burger (of course grass-fed meat for the Trudeau burger); this place knows how to keep things interesting! The burgers even have come with pineapple, goat cheese - pretty much anything you can think of. Overall, not many restaurants in London take me for 5-stars. This restaurant deserves it. No cons.

Awesome food. Accessibility is a bit of a challenge, no actuator on door and a bar between the two doors so you have to be able to squeeze through the one door only. They have one level with stairs, but a small section where a wheelchair can access their space. It might be a bit of a wait though for a table in that location depending on the time.

Just awesome. That's how I have to start this one. When a place is super busy on a Saturday night, and they still get your food out quickly, it speaks to their professionalism. Was out with a large group, and they seem to be great for kids, as well as adults. The kids were loving the hand-scooped iced cream milkshakes, and how they serve them in small measuring cups. The peanut butter chocolate milk shake literally has a dollop of peanut butter on top. I got the Nacho Libre burger and sweet potato fries. No wonder this one is a "top ten favourite". The burger is perfectly cooked, with a little pink in the middle, and is topped with corn chips, three cheeses, sour cream and lettuce - basically all the nacho fixings. Next time I'll get the poutine instead of the sweet potato fries. Poutine can be hit or miss around here, but I tasted some at my table, and it's awesome!! So, service was great, food was amazing, kids enjoyed it, and I left feeling totally satisfied. Not to mention the amazing 80s/90s rock tracks they had playing the whole time. Good taste!

The only downside to The Works is the price but you get what you pay for and their burgers are amazing, not a lot of places had a good price/quality trade off but this one is well worth it. What kind of burger do you want; beef, chicken, turkey, beyond, elk, wagyu beef or for some reason mushroom cap? They have it … for some reason. Elk it top shelf though just saying.

I'm not a huge fan. The portion sizes are MASSIVE and far too greecey. Personally I think my beef patties are better. You don't need fat oozing off your burger to taste good. We also had the milkshakes and I'm not a fan either. They are so thick they need a spoon. They are also very chunky. I like my milkshakes smooth. With that being said service was amazing! Staff is so nice! We took our 1.5 year old and we didn't get any attitude about. The staff even engaged with our daughter. I really appreciated feeling like the whole family is welcome. They also have highchairs and booster seats! Having the two options was great!

They only get 4 starts from me, because this place could be everything I would love in a restaurant... but fell a little short. Service was average at best. It is a LITTLE bit over priced, and they could use some better drink specials. With that said, the food was great. Enjoyed the Born to Brie wild burger and upgraded to the poutine, which were both very tasty. Found it a little funny that Kraft Dinner is an upgrade for a side, but maybe it's a big portion or something. Anyways, overall no major complaints and I would recommend checking it out.

Omg this is the best burger place I have ever gone to. I ordered all three appetizers to try because I couldn't decide between them all. I had the Obi Wan burger and the gf had the man cave burger, both were juicy and over the top, fries were delicious too. Server was pleasant, fast and joked around with us. The only negative thing I could find and it's a stretch was the plating of the shake for dessert, it just came out in a measuring cup, no whipped topping, chocolate sprinkles or anything to dress it up... still it was damn delicious

I've had Onion rings in 6 different countries, none were as good as these. Not the plain jane batter from a forgettable sport's bar, these are crunchy and delicious. You could taste how clean the oil was. An absolute stunner of a spicy chicken sandwich. The breast was perfectly fried. Moist and delicious. The Cajun dusting was spot on perfectly spiced. The bleu cheese burger was similarly delicious. The perfect pairing with the sweet potato fries. The works atmosphere is perfect. The kind of place you want to work for when you are done eating. I had been to the works once before and was a returning customer for my birthday. I ordered a few vodka's with a splash of cranberry juice. When I got my bill it was $32 for 4 drinks. They charged me $11 for my vodka and $15 for my 4 splashes of cranberry juice. My friend ordered the juicy Lucy and asked for well done. This burger was still part medium as the cheese inside had red running through it and it made him sick afterwords. I had the Hunka Hunka and my burger was delicious. I would eat here again but will not drink here again.

You will need to visit this place if you enjoy a hamburger even once in a while. The meat used is very high quality, high quality ingredients and very large portions. It seems to be priced a bit higher than other hamburger restaurants, but is worth it in my opinion, I never feel like I did not get a good value. Personally, I have really come to enjoy the Elk burgers, and now get this exclusively when I visit. Very good work for The Works!

Not totally thrilled with the hipster vibe but don't let that turn you off as the burgers here are excellent. I have been here dozens of times and have only ordered two burgers. The "Elk On A Beech" & "The Tragically Maple". Service has also been excellent. Kudos.

Food was pretty decent. I would have to say that the burger patties themselves had no seasoning so tasted a little bland. The glasses they serve drinks in are actually measuring cups and difficult to drink out of. Also the tray they brought the food in had a two inch lip on it which made it difficult to eat out of. Service was decent. Probably wouldn't return.

A perfect blend of incredible and abundant food served in creative presentations mixed with a team of people (I find uncomfortable calling them servers). I would rather refer to them as friends. That's the feeling you get. You can tell that they are proud of what they bring to your table!

The best place in London for burgers. Lots of variety, a ton of flavour, friendly staff and an endless amount of toppings. I just went there and had the Elk on a Beech burger. The Elk patty was phenomenal and their beechouse sauce is one of a kind. Can't wait to go back again. When I leave after eating here I always have a smile on my face.

My "go-to" when guests come from out of town (one of whom always insists on visiting!) In all the years I've eaten here, the food is always reliably delicious & well prepared, in fact, the quality of the salads have improved greatly over time. There are patty offerings to satisfy adventurous carnivores and herbivores alike and gluten-free buns are available. Best fries ever! The menu even includes beer pairings to compliment the food. Staff are wonderful & service is attentive & upbeat without being annoying :-). Tends to be busy when students are in town and after Knights games, so that may involve a wait time... Not yer average burger joint!

I had the best burger I ever ate in my life here. It was called sum yung guy and it had caramelized onions, cream cheese, monteray jack cheese n bacon... I would definitely go back again as they have numerous signature burgers I would love to try.. Mmmm soooo good.. And the burger is really big.. I couldn't eat it all in one meal I ate half and my fries there and took rest home to eat later..

I have ordered from here many times during lockdowns and always great food. Stopped in for in house experience tonight. Happy that the restaurant is busy but tables are so close I felt smothered. Then a couple sat next to us (less than 2 ft away) Her cologne was so strong that within seconds my eyes were burning. For the first time in my life I got up to leave. My husband explained very politely why we were leaving. Response was oh ok. I was a little disappointed that no effort was made to seat us elsewhere.

Placed an order for pick up last night and luckily arrived early. When we arrived we could see not a single staff member was masked. We waited until our order was estimated to be done and walked in, the receptionist threw on a mask after we spotted her without one. We were immediately offered a table, which is illegal in our current lockdown state. I asked why none of her staff were masked, she gave us lies “they were just leaving” and “it’s just for a moment”. Those who were “just leaving” had visibly just arrived. None of these lies negate that masks are mandatory. Only one other staff member put on a mask while we were in the buildings. These violations have been reported. As the single most expensive burger joint in London it is sickening to see the absolute lack of care for our community. Absolutely shameful, we won’t be returning.

The BEST burger place in London. Maybe anywhere that I have been.... Between the near endless choices of toppings, choice of bun, actual burger material, sides, drinks.....You get the idea! You can come here time after time and never have the same meal twice. I come here weekly it seems and I have enjoyed EVERY meal. The ambience is great too.... Maybe go during the summer and enjoy a meal and one of the craft beers they offer while the front of the restaurant is open to the street?.... Great place to eat 5 stars

Hard pass. My review would be 5 stars based on what is on the menu. HOWEVER, there are so many drawbacks. For 30 bucks I could go buy a whole pack of hamburger, buns, lettuce, eggs, peanut butter and a lottery ticket. For 35 I could toss in a whole bottle of wine. If you're comfortable overspending for something you could put your own sunny side up egg on top of, then this is your place. Probably won't return, but not disappointed with what I got, just the price is not at all reasonable, especially when I know a local pub that serves comparably edible burgers and fries for 5 bucks.

I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch at The Works, I highly recommend this place. It has a fun atmosphere, very attentive servers. I was amused by the presentation of the food and drink. A cold beverage of choice is served in a glass 2 cup measuring cup, the salt and pepper shakers are light bulbs, onion rings are piled onto a paper towel holder. So fun, and come hungry. I had the Kraft dinner topped burger. So yummy. Enjoy

We were told that the wait was 20 minutes to make our burgers. Our anticipation mounted thinking that our food would have that special love in it. After the wait the special-factor did not shine through. The burgers were well presented, in the time frame we were told, but the taste was just 'ok.

Awful experience at The Works. Ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad to go with double bacon and no croutons, I might as well burned a $20 bill at home and saved my gas. What I received was a lump of lettuce with a very bland caesar dressing on it along with what might have been 2-3 pieces of bacon. After calling the manager, and being put on hold twice! (I suppose there were more important calls to take) I was told that there would be a coupon left at the register with my name on it. Great, Thanks Barry. I will not be back.

Very good burgers with an extensive menu choice of burgers and fries. Nice decor too. However this restaurant allows their Delivery Drivers and pick-up customers to park illegally in the Bike Lane outside the place. This forces passing Cyclists to weave into traffic risking serious accidents or death under the wheels of a passing car. Because of this I urge all Cyclists to NOT give this burger place your business!!!!

Such a disappointment !! I have been going The Works for few years now 1. The size of a burger has been reduced. 2. I ordered potato chips as a side and it came out soggy ! 3. The buns were cold. 4. The size of a poutine has been reduced. This is overall just a disappointing experience and I can confidently say they lost my business. I get that they have to save the cost due to the inflation, but they really should reconsider what they currently are doing.

Fast, efficient service. Creative menu but almost too many options! You’ll spend more time reading the menu than you will waiting for the food to arrive. Don’t miss out on the spicy die cut chips and the onion rings! Get some “hotter than hell” sauce on the side if you want to spice it up.
