Quick service and food arrived promptly for how busy it was. It appears the kitchen is overwhelmed as I received my food befor others that were seated long before me. The chicken Alfredo I ordered was tasted burnt from the chicken being overcooked. First time I have been disappointed eating here.

One of the nicer looking restaurants (inside) in Lethbridge for sure. The staff is very friendly, good service and pretty good food - better than most chain restaurants. A little on the pricey side, especially for drinks. Overall though, one of the best restaurants in the city.

Beautiful decor, super friendly staff, delicious menu and food! The atmosphere is very nice, definitely perfect for a date night. We really enjoyed the drinks menu, the house made lemonade is super refreshing and yummy. The peach slush belini was great but I realized that I wasn't a kid anymore as the brain freeze set in, sip slowly ????

Great food as usual. Beautiful atmosphere inside but a bit industrial putside on deck. They do a great job of seperation from road noise and probably quite nice at night. Wish i lived closer so i could go more often. Service a bit slow but it is everywhere, so no points off for that.

Never been to a more consistent, and enjoyable restaurant. Service is always above the top. Well priced, with great portion sizes. I enjoy the lounge on game nights, I have asked for a particular game on the t.v and always have been accommodated.

Had blackened chicken burger. Burger was great. Fries were overcooked and if you ask for gravy you get a solid table spoon full in a dish. Service was ok. Slow on refills; Server was visiting in the corner when we looked around for our server.

I attended a Bachelorette party with almost 30 ladies, the service was fantastic! I loved the hard lemonade, and got the fish tacos which were also very yummy. The decor is fancy and the resturant is clean.

After did whole housework, my boyfriend took me to Moxie for dinner. The restaurant is located downtown, Lethbridge. It’s a big fancy western restaurant. The lounge has a great atmosphere and modern design, which gives customers romantic feelings. The servers were very friendly and helpful. They all wear the black uniforms, which look so nice. We arrived the restaurant around 5 pm. The restaurant was not busy yet, but there were still many people here. We had no problem to get a table. As soon, we sat down, our table server came and brought drinks and menus to us. The menu is very simple selection, but the prices of the food are more expensive than other restaurants (such as State & Main and Boston Pizza). We were struggled for while to order the food. The server was very helpful who introduced the dishes to us. After a few minus, we finally ordered our food. We ordered Calamari (tempura shrimp, sriracha aioli & sweet chili sauce) to share. It was a small dish: Calamari and Shrimp Tempura with deep fried green pepper and pink ginger dipped into sriracha aioli & sweet chili sauce. The sweet chili sauce tasted great for it. After that, we had Slow Roasted Baby Back Ribs full order (fall off the bone tender, your choice of potato + fresh seasonal vegetables) and Herb Alfredo (grana padano, penne, asiago cream, chives). The Ribs were well seasoned and well cooked. The Mashed potato was tasty, but it was too salty. The fresh seasonal vegetables were OK, not very excited. Herb Alfredo was decent with a small piece of Grallic Bread as well. Also, I added their $7.25 soup combo that we can have soup and dessert for the cheaper price. The Feature Soup came with a piece of Grallic Bread. The soup tasted OK, but it was not hot. Little bit disappointed. The White Chocolate Brownie dessert was awesome. I love the french vanilla ice cream so much. The food came very fast, but the server served water very slow. The food was decent. We had a good experience at Moxie’s.

I had the vegetarian power bowl. It was plated beautifully. It also had microgreens which are super healthy. The marinated tofu was super tasty. The spicy vegan mayo tied everything together once I stirred it around. It was a nice big bowl and I felt well nourished without a heavy feeling. I would definitely order it again.

Upscale feel makes this restaurant stand out well above some of the other places in town. We have not had a bad experience here since the new Scottish chef was brought on board. This isn't the moxies you'll remember from years past. This place is smart, carefully designed and everything is well presented with a flair, quality and thought that transcends the prices. The mushroom ravioli was a highlight. White chocolate brownie - it's amazing. Really. Good prices. Good quality. Excellent servers. Loved it.

I've been here a few times. Whenever possible when I make a trip to Lethbridge I usually try to have lunch at this place. It's a good place for having a business meeting and even better place if you're looking for a cold one after a long day. The menu is pretty versatile and all the food is delicious every time that I've eaten there. If you are looking for a refreshing drink on a hot day on their patio I would recommend get in their lemonade, it is absolutely delicious and could result in a runaway if you're not careful ;-)

Absolutely superb. I booked a room for 20 friends/family for a surprise supper for my wife's birthday. The staff were terrific, very helpful and the food was great also. The other thing that was a big bonus was there was no charge to book the private room and I was able to bring in a cake from a third party which was really appreciated. Thank you all for, 5 stars and two thumbs up!

The 1st time we came here the chicken portion was so small - I thought that the waitress had our food mixed up with an appetizer.... The 2nd time we came here, the waiter brought our steaks & he forgot my house salad & then he did finally bring it so my steak got cold while I ate my salad & then when it came time for the dessert menu to come to our table, he threw them on the table & never said a word, time for him to get a job somewhere else, if that is how you intend to treat customers.... We will never be back here. I have had friends that have had bad experiences also, never to return.

Went with a group on our last visit. Teriyaki bowl was pretty 'meh' and it was kinda tough to get drink refills, but other than that it was a good experience. The food came out quickly and the server was super friendly and had no problem handling our large-ish group.

A upscale place to enjoy drinks and appetizers, as well as any kind of delicious meals, Yes, I do think so. The food and drinks are excellent here, the service is usually pretty good, however there were occasions where we didn't see our server very often. it is a great place to hang out, go on a date, or just relax with someone special. This place serves food that is more upscale and the price reflects it by being on the higher side but not excessive. I would certainly return to this location as it has never disappointed me.

This used to my go to place for years. However, I feel that the menu and food is lacking. It just isn't what it used to be. But the white chocolate brownie is still the best you can ever find. This is now our dessert place if we want a midnight snack. Staff is friendly too!

This was one of my favourite places to eat. We were just there this evening and found the prices had gone up. I used to love their enchilada dish but they have discontinued it. I tried the Steak Salad. There were just a few bits of slices of steak on a huge bed of lettuce with 2 or 3 halves of cherry tomatoes and a few red onion slices. Very disappointed. The best was our waiter Karim, but he will not be there much longer. Also great is their gluten free chocolate cake. All in all it is not worth while going to pay that much for a bed of lettuce.

My friend had some sushi as an appatizer, and she said that the rice was undercooked and still hard in the middle. I had rice in my main meal as well and I came across the same thing. The rice was still hard at the centre. Everything else was good, service was friendly and very prompt.

Usually really great service, but had to flag a waiter to be seated after about 5 minutes on a slow night. Atmosphere is awesome and staff are friendly. Drinks are tasty, and I could kill the lettuce wraps all day, every day. Seriously, they're amazing. Absolutely recommend this place.

I ordered the nachos with shredded chicken, and the salmon Cobb salad. I was pretty hungry. I haven't been to Moxie's in quite a while and it blew me away. The nachos came in a foot high arch and I felt bad eating the Cobb salad because it was a piece of art work. Great work everybody.

I really wanted to give this more stars but we waited over an hour and a bit for our food. They said they would buy us which is a family of 4 all free desserts for the wait, I was happy with that until the deserts took 20 minutes and still never showed up I had been there over 2-hours and I had enough. I went and said just give me my bill I probably swore because I was angry. the manager said there was no charge for the entire supper because of the problem. I wanted to give it more stars but I just couldn't. I even gave it a couple weeks before I did my review to try and mellow out a bit.I am pleased I didn't have to pay but there's some serious fixing that needs to be done, the people who cook need to get it out in a timely fashion or they need to hire more people.

Great meal. Loved the decorations. We went for an early lunch on a Monday and wasn't busy at all. They had boogie boards for the kids and a nice kids menu. I loved the steak sandwich. My toddler loved going up the stairs to the bathrooms. Changing table in the bathroom. Only disappointment was they were out of the brownie dessert.

One of my favorite places to go. We had dinner there tonight on Valentine's Day and they got us in no problem. They have changed the menu and no longer make the cream of broccoli soup. Kinda sad but ok new options are great. Then my steak wasn't cooked the way I like and the manager took it back and cooked it longer. It was done a bit better but still not up to my liking. That's ok. I really appreciated how above and beyond him and our server were to make me happy. We had dessert on the house which was delicious! Thank you for everything. We will definitely be back!!

Went here for my niece's grad, with a party of 15 or so. Our waitress, Jericka, was awful. The whole time she had a generally abrasive disposition. Not very good with people. I asked if she could check with the kitchen and ask if they could still make an item that had been removed from the menu. She told me it was too busy for special requests. It wasn't very busy and she didn't even try. No apology, nothing. Later on in the evening my nephew asked for a root beer float. Once again, she said she couldn't do that. Even though they have the ingredients. No apology, no suggestions, just bad service. To top it off, when we went to pay, she had automatically added the gratuity onto the bill and didn't let us know, so we ended up paying double the gratuity for service I would have rather paid half for. If this place can't train their staff on customer service and relies on the atmosphere alone to bring the customers in, they're going to have a bad time. I won't be back.

Arrived late Sunday evening. Very impressed with the modern, sleek, eclectic, interior design. Ordered salmon salad and tacos. Presentation was exquisite and the taste combination was divine. Consistently good food. Nice atmosphere. Went there for our anniversary, just wanted a nice meal in a nice atmosphere. The server was friendly and attentive while not intrusive. Brought some tasters of wine for us to pick the right one. One of the salads came out with the wrong dressing, but it was fine and tasted good. They discovered the error and the server tried to replace it but we told her it was fine. The manager came to apologize and replace it, but again wet told him it was fine. They bought us dessert which was way above and beyond. Our new favorite place to eat!

I was very disappointed with my meal.the portion was extremely small. I ordered the quinoa kale salad. I asked he waiter how much quinoa was on the salad and he told me It would the same proportion of the kale. I figures for $15 they would probably give quite a bit of kale and quinoa. (In the past they had given us large salads). Well my meal came with maybe 2 cups of chopped kale ( that must be 10 calories worth of kale). And 2 to 3 tablespoons of quinoa sprinkled throughout. I could not have the cheese or dressing and so asked for avocado and lemon on the side. They gave three slices of avocado (1/6th of an avocado) and tried to charge $2 extra for it! Not impressed. I brought my own cashew dressing with garlic and lemon ( absolutely delicious) not to mention 1 table spoon was worth more than this entire salad . This was a very bad experience. I Came home very hungry. This salad was advertised as a main coarse not a side salad however it was definitely more of a side salad proportion with the price of a main coarse. Total rip off. Will never go to Moxies ever again. If I could give them negative stars I would.

TLDR: Better than any other Moxie's I've ever been to and the food and service was surprisingly great. Let me start by admitting that I'm not a fan of Moxie's. The chain represents the worst of mid range chain restaurants trying to be fancy. The food is usually overpriced, the portions are small and the servers are picked for their looks instead of their competence. With all these problems, why the 5 stars you ask? Because this Moxie's is better than any other I've gone to. Admittedly, I was here for a work lunch, but the portions were generous and the servers were lovely and efficient. The prices were still high but 2 outta 3 ain't had. Suffice to say, I left Moxie's thinking that I may come back. Being able to change my opinion from disdain to relatively positive is quite impressive and deserves the 5 stars.

I went there a while ago and the service in general was pretty good. The steak was cooked exactly as I had told them and my wife’s fish was also to her liking. The place was clean and we were treated warmly. Our waitress that we had that night really should have came to our table more often to fill up our drinks. It wasn’t even busy that night, so I am unsure why she wasn’t waiting on us more. The real frustration came when it was time to pay. We had some gift certificates to use and their machine wasn’t working well. They then asked if we could pay another way, but we only went to use the gift cards, so we told them “no.” Eventually they got their piece of trash card reader to take out gift cards....

I'd love to give five stars but the waitress killed it. The only saving grace to this review is the food. The curry was great and my husband's steak was cooked as asked. BUT the waitress , right after I explained how we pvr'ed the hockey game so I was offering to change seats so my husband wasn't watching that particular tv, she blurts out the outcome. I repeated how we have it taped and she again continued her comments...WT...?!!? So we began our dinner in disbelief and upset. Seriously? That just happened??!

Went and honestly I don't understand why anyone goes to Moxies, the food wasn't great and its overpriced. The main part of my food looked like it had been left under a heat lamp for too long and the parmesan on my caesar salad was a thick peice thats tasted like fridge instead of a nice thin slice. Many of us at my table were disappointed with our food. Also for those that are celiac a word of warning there is barely anything that you can eat( they only have a "gluten sensitive lifestyle menu"). The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because the staff there is amazing! They were super friendly and attentive with refilling drinks. Moxie's used to be a staple in our rotation. As their prices have gone up we visit less and less. Our last visit was the first in at least a year and I have to say we're not craving another visit. The food quality was lack luster at best and the prices are waaay out of line for what we got. While they've always err'd a bit on the pricey side, there's usually been enough food quality to make you feel like the food and the atmosphere make it all worth it in the end. Based on our last experience I'd suggest that maybe they should put more effort into dining and less effort into decoration.

On my takeout order - friendly telephone & front reception staff, but ribs were overdone, they forgot the brownie (paid $5 for it), and pasta was a bit overpriced. My order was for 4:00pm, so they were not busy. They gave 15% discount for pickup orders, but still overpriced (especially with the brownie missing). Would I go back? No, probably not. Maybe a sit-down experience would be different, but I don't think I'll be back.

update, it was great to hear from Moxies manager and they said that they were going to review their portion side, as far as he knew the portion side had not changed. I do understand prices go up. I will give them another chance and I am going to order the same thing to see if it has been any difference. If not I will ask the manager to explain himself. However I changed my review stars, because to me I was impressed that they called to find out what they could do better. This shows that this restaurants cares . 4 years ago I gave moxie a 5 star rating and why not, they did a good job. But now I have to change the rating because of what they have recently have done. Not only they increase the price ( and this is understandable) but they have decreased the portion dramatically. I used to get the steak salad, it was 18.99 which was a big price but the salad was big enough that you felt full. Now they increased it to 22.95 and they only give you half of the Salad. I understand that prices go up, but please give me a break. 22.95 for a salad that half of the original size. I can get a steak sandwich with a salad for less. Not sure what is going on, i guess they think since people are eating more salads they can take advantage. Shame on you.

Came for some quick snacks and a drink. Service was ok, but it took some time to out in our order. Drinks were good, cheddar broccoli soup was good. When the rest of our food came out things were forgotten, asked for hot and honey garlic wings sauces mixed together, they separated the flavours instead, the wings also looked and tasted like they’ve been sitting and refried over again. Ribs were overwhelmingly salty. Not somewhere I would go back to.

This place does not mess around. They have people on the floor checking on everything and making sure you are happy. If something does not come out fast enough according to their standards, they make up for it. Our appetizers were slow coming out, and we didn't even care, but they gave us free dessert as a way of apologizing. CAME HERE TODAY WITH MY FRIENDS FOR A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION. LET ME START OFF BY SAYING THE SERVICE WAS PHENOMENAL. FROM THE HOST WHO TOOK ME TO MY SEAT TO THE MANAGER WHO TOLD US IT WAS TIME TO CLOSE. IT WAS SO GREAT! OUR SERVER WAS SO PATIENT, KIND AND ACCOMMODATING OF EVERYONE. THE BROWNIE (AS ALWAYS) WAS DELICIOUS TOO. HOWEVER I WAS NOT A HUGE FAN OF THE BEEF DIP AND WAS DISAPPOINTED TO SEE THEY REMOVED THE MISO RAMEN OFF THE MENU. I REALLY HOPE IT COMES BACK AS IT HAS BEEN MY GO TO ORDER FOR YEARS!

Service was great. We ordered Bruschetta for appetizer & steak sandwiches Very disappointed in our steaks. The Steak was cold and over cooked. Everything else on the plate was excellent and warm but couldn’t believe how poor the steak was. Won’t be returning anytime soon as restaurant wasn’t very busy.

The appetizers and desserts are to die for. Looking for something delicious? Have their calamari or tableside quacomole. Had some drinks too which were so good. Didn't rush us even though we got out just before they closed and the service was killer! Ordered the salmon salad and I can honestly say I've never seen a more pretty dish in person, the presentation was lovely.

I always enjoy going to Moxie’s. Their food is excellent. I especially enjoy their steaks. I was there recently and had the steak frites. The steak was excellent but the chimichurri sauce on the steak was disappointing. I was also disappointed to see that they had removed their honey garlic steak from the menu. The service from the staff and management is top notch.

Best Moxies of all time (yeah I said it) The staff is always so great, the food is amazing, doesn't matter what you order, steak salad, broccoli cheddar soup, med bread, lunch combos, salmon, even the drinks, everything is delicious. The atmosphere is great, it's perfect for small parties and the prices are great for what you're getting. Great place to go get yourself a bellini and relax.

Can’t by for dinner with my mum for her birthday and had the best experience I’ve had in a long time. Our appys and mains were incredible. Definitely the best cooked NewYork strip-loin I’ve had by far. Our server Alyssa was a goddess! Nothing was too much trouble and she made sure our glasses were always full. Can’t wait to come back.

Really great food with a good selection of plant-based options. I had the beyond burger without cheese. The fries were hot and crispy and fresh. Our server was friendly and accomodating. The reason for 4 stars is the lack of plant based options in the dessert menu. I would have loved to have some dessert!!

My family & I went to Moxies the other night in Lethbridge for dinner. We had a wonderful experience! All the staff was professional, friendly and very attentive! The service was exceptional. I follow a plant based diet and the server and kitchen staff ensured my dietary requirements were met. Our server was great! And even (I believe it was a manager) came out to confirm my meal was vegan & to my satisfaction. The food was delicious and the facilities very modern and clean. Recommend!

Over all the food is good, sometimes it seems that the burgers and chicken are rubbery, kinda like they've been precooked and held in hot water for a while to "speed things up". Last I checked I still have to pay full price even though it appears your taking shortcuts to prepare our food, if I wanted McDonald's I'd go there instead!

Loud atmosphere. To the point where it was difficult to hear our server, who was pretty good. Had dry ribs, starter Cesar salad, and the mosaic dip to start. Two shrimp linguine and a burger I can't remember. The dry ribs were crispy on the outside and juicy inside. 4/5 The mosaic dip was delicious. 5/5 would highly recommend. The Cesar salad was good. 5/5 The shrimp linguine had half of a mini lobster tail. There were several sizes of shrimp which tasted very good. The noodles were cooked well, but the (I'm guessing) grape tomatoes were off putting and reminded me of pumpkin. The sauce used was a but heavily used but still tasted good. 3/5, I'd recommend something else.

Came to moxies for lunch with my daughter, she wanted a salad off of the adult menu so i asked for a half order but was told they couldnt do that. I'm not sure if they dont have the technology to make a half order or the manager was just to lazy to accomodate us. After the mediocre at best service it will be a while before i return here.

Huh!!!! We make a significant order through skip the dishes and the order was missing food. We call Moxies and they reply: this is a Skip the Dishes issue. Help me understand how this is not your responsibility Moxies. There was no attempt to solve the problem! UPDATE: Now, when the general manager calls you personally to discuss how they can be better, we get into a great conversation on clearly understanding each others perspective. Mike is a class act and runs a great restaurant. Thank you for taking the time to call me back.

My wife and I went out with another couple to Moxie's recently. I have gone out to other restaurants during covid times but this is the first time in 2 years I had been to Moxie's. Firstly the food quality was excellent and the service was very friendly and top-notch. Absolutely no problems with the staff and they did a fantastic job. However, and I mention this in complete recognition of increased cost of doing business, their prices have become unreasonable. My wife and I had two very basic meals, a beef dip and a chicken dish, 2 draft beer and my bill was $90. Include tip that's easily $100 night. It's simply not worth $100 for the experience. That is approaching keg steakhouse territory and to be honest Moxie's is not worth it. I completely understand prices have increased for both labor, food and overhead, but it's not reasonable. I would say it's about 20 to 30% overpriced from where it should be. And for that reason I don't think I will be returning anytime soon.

One of the salads came out with the wrong dressing, but it was fine and tasted good. They discovered the error and the server tried to replace it but we told her it was fine. The manager came to apologize and replace it, but again wet told him it was fine. They bought us dessert which was way above and beyond.
