Meal was quite tasty. The lamb was cooked perfectly which is very easy to get wrong. Definitely not huge portion sizes but you shouldn't expect that at this kind of restaurant. Easily the best fine dining experience in town.

My wife and I spent our anniversary dinner here. We both had the lamb which was amazing. It was cooked perfectly and the sweet sauce was fantastic. We shared the cream brûlée for dessert which was also good. First time coming here based off a recommendation and will be back for sure.

Probably the best food in Lethbridge. Excellent beer and wine selection, and some of the best food I've ever had. It does take some time, so expect to be here for a few hours, but it's always worthwhile.

My boyfriend took me here for our date night, neither of us had ever been, and we were both very pleased. Great atmosphere, awesome service, and amazing food. My boyfriend had the lamb and I had the farfale and both were so good. We will absolutely be back.

My favourites are the beet salad, creamed mussels, calimari in tomato sauce and any of the lamb and beef entrees. Great dessert selection with white chocolate creme brule' and pavlova among the choices.

Love this place. It is a quaint little bistro in downtown Lethbridge. The food was spectacular and the service impeccable. I loved the feel of the restaurant's interior decor and I loved the fact the owner/Chef took time out to visit with us at the table and check on his creation. A limited menu which fits with the places motto bu keeping it simple but there is something for everyone and I am sure no one would feel like they couldn't order from menu. Love the food and love the place and YES we will be back

If I could give 2.5 stars, I would but will bump this to 3 because of the service. It's a pleasant enough bistro with some European comfort food. We were a big group (for the size of the place) and had a variety of dishes. My calmari appetizer was overcooked and rubbery, but the smoked salmon with crème fraiche over pasta was alright. Nothing out of this world, but serviceable. If you're a vegetarian, you might as well skip Miro entirely. Limited choice (there MIGHT be two dishes) in what ended up being "grilled vegetables with a side order of vegetables." Other things to avoid are the deserts, which were overpriced for the quality. You're better off skipping desert and walking down the street to the Penny Café for something there. If this was a bigger city, the review would be lower, but this is Lethbridge, the land of a thousand Boston Pizzas. There's a lack of quality restaurants here, and places like Miro need to up their game significantly if they want to compete with the deluge of chains.

Went for Valentine's tonight with my wife. I had rack of lamb and she had filet mignon. We left very happy with our meals/dessert and the service. Kudos to Miro's!

The experience was alright. It’s a nice place. Fancy. My dad liked the food. Just overall it was “meh.” And it’s certainty a higher end place, so be comfortable with spending at least $100 for a couple. And make sure you know your “fancy food.” I’m sure some people love the seafood soup, but to me it was pretty weird. The service was a little sub-par as well (at least what we got). And the main beef dish (expensive one at the bottom of the menu) was good, but personality I’d far prefer a steak from somewhere like State and Main. In summary, or was okay. And if you’re really into fancy “unique” food and dining experience, you’ll probably love it. Just not my style.

Fabulous food. I like that chef Miro comes by your table to check on you. Service is a little unfriendly at times, but efficient. It gives the impression they are under staffed. Still, a great higher end restaurant for Lethbridge, with consistently good food. Excellent selection of wine for those with deep pockets.

I just want to write this review in defense to the only poor review on Miro bistro. The person who wrote this obviously works/ owns/ knows the owner of Mocha Cabana because of their reference to the specials at the end of the "review". I find it in very poor taste that this person is obviously promoting another restaurant by bashing Miros. I cannot say that the service, ambiance or decor was good on their visit because everyone has a different interpretation of these aspects and service is kind of a hard thing to keep consistant 100%, but I will say that the quality of the ingredients is definitely top notch. Everything is fresh and never frozen, even the fish, which is a rarity for ALBERTA! Miros is, in my opinion, one the only two finer dining restaurants in Lethbridge. Nothing else even compares.

The food is very well prepared! I highly recommend the grilled shrimp salad and fillet minion. Huge wine list and a selection of regional craft beers. It's classy but comfortable and we'll decorated both with objects and art that just seems to be perfect for the aire that they create.

From appetizers, to entree, to dessert - truly a culinary experience. We had melt in your mouth filet mignon, fresh beet salad, and perfectly baked scalloped potatoes. Creamy smooth Creme Brûlée and a decant pecan tart.

Miro is a small restaurant with a fairly small menu. The chef is dedicated to making each dish well and personally. As a result service is slow but the food is excellent. The ambiance is good, they had a piano player the night we were there. The prices are on the high side. They have an extensive wine list, focusing on red wine.

My grade 12 son and I were down in Lethbridge for a provincial badminton tourney and were looking for somewhere to eat on a rainy Friday night at ~ 9:30pm. We found Miro Bistro within a short walking distance from Days Inn on Scenic Dr. We entered this Bistro and the response we got was that they "maybe closed". There were 3 other tables of people just finishing off and the Bistro was indeed getting ready to close. Their hours are published 5pm to "close" obviously due to activity levels. The very accommodating waitress went to the back and asked the cook if they could serve us, and she came back with a "yes" and seated us. Already I felt that they were making our visit an accommodating one. The bistro had a very cool atmosphere to it, and for me spending some memorable quality time with my son vs. burgers "Rotten Ronny's", I was all for it. The food was awesome quality and was price appropriately, and the service was excellent. It was a memorable time that helped make the trip one my son and I will always remember.

Experience was disappointing unfortunately. We were very excited to try Miro out. We were originally booked with Plum, but due to an unfortunate overbooking on their end, they recommended us to Miro. The service we had was very slow, and she wasn't very friendly! It took us nearly an hour and 15 minutes to get our appetizers, and another hour to get our entrees. I had a seafood pasta, and the squid was well overcooked. I did not want to send it back, as I was very hungry from waiting so long! We then had pavlova for dessert. The pavlova I am used to is nice and fluffy, barely browned if that. It was well over cooked!! Server simply told us "that's how we make it here". There was another pavlova at our table, and it was cooked perfect. Because there was more than 8 of us, we were charged a 17% gratuity (which is fine...), but our waitress definitely not deserve a $120 tip. Go to Plum, it is more money, but the service and food cannot be beat.

We've been twice now and have decided that this is the place to go to if we want a great meal! The food is excellent.. The side vegetables are perfect and the service is friendly and efficient without being "in your face". A nice touch is the chef coming out to check the meal or just to say goodnight and thank you for coming. The menu is a little limited but am assuming this is due the great quality of the meals that are offered. There is still enough selection to satisfy most palettes.

This restaurant is very calming for me. I like to eat here by myself during business trips. However it has a very romantic atmosphere and would be perfect for couples. The food is great and the wine list is amazing, especially if you are a wine connoisseur, which I like to think I am.

The potato pancake was bland and the mix of veggies and meat on my plate were covered by this pancake. It may have been just me not liking the dish itself. My partners penne was also not covered in very much sauce. Other than that the service was good and prompt, and the food came out in a decent time.

My partner and I visited Miro to celebrate our anniversary. While the food was great, the service was lacking. Our server was abrupt with us to the point of being dismissive from the moment we walked in, and that carried on throughout our experience. Our server did not check to ensure our entrees were alright, nor did anyone else. Further, we got to watch as the chef himself stepped out of the kitchen to check with various other tables to see if their meals were done right. It was glaringly obvious that we, much younger and potentially less affluent than other customers in the restaurant, were treated differently because of this. Not impressed.
