The food is to die for good!!! Our server was super friendly and fun and the food came fast, hot and absolutely delicious!! I'm a picky orderer and don't like certain foods touching so they separated it all for me which made me pleased as punch! Everything about our experience there was phenomenal, I highly recommend it!

So this is a review of all the times I've gone here. It's usually very busy and the wait staff seem very overwhelmed and stressed. The food I've gotten each time hasn't been bad per se, but it's usually very greasy and the philly cheese steak has the texture of a sandwich that was microwaved to reheat it. I used skip the dishes to deliver one time, and upon picking up a crepe, there was enough oil that it was dripping off of it. I think I had one experience that was good there, which is why I wanted to keep giving this place a chance, but after a number of bad experiences in a row, the most recent one actually making me and my husband physically sick, I don't think I'll be going again.

Rarely find an IHOP in Ontario but when visiting BC lots more around. Definitely not the healthiest option but we go there when we are Hungry at breakfast. Go to: Chicken and Waffles!

The service was first rate, restaurant was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Personally, I thought the large sized soup was very small. And when we were there, they were out of chicken fingers, so my kids had to pick a different menu item. But overall we were happy with our visit.

Waited 10 minutes for the server to come take our drink orders, then another 10-15 for him to take our orders. Took 25 minutes for us to get our food. Tables paid and left after we ordered and new people were seated, ordered and received the food before we received our food. Couldn’t get a refill of water for any of our party of 4 until we flagged him down and still took forever. Food came cold and was less than mediocre. I’m not one to complain but if I could give 0 stars I absolutely would.

We went to IHOP today at around noon, our waitress was moody and rarely used a kind and inviting tone of voice. She hardly spent time to actually talk to us and even ignored us when we tried to get her attention to ask for more ketchup. I understand that she was busy or having a bad day but she could’ve been more kind for sure. When I was paying for the meal she was standing over my shoulder watching me put the tip in practically pressuring me into giving her a bigger tip. She made the experience awful. The food was delicious though so thanks to the kitchen for the good food.

Always the best service. Every time my husband and I come here, we always have great servers. Megan is the sweetest little angel and always makes us feel so welcome and special. Even when she’s not our server, she comes to see how we’re doing and even spoiled us today with my favourite pancakes that the kitchen made too many of. For a large chain restaurant, management does a great job making it feel like a neighbourhood restaurant ????

Food was decent except for the avocado was bad, I can't believe that the cooks serve avocado that's bruised and dark. Also the waitress (with no name tag) didn't seem to enjoy her day at work. Had to ask for everything, jam, ketchup and coffee refills and didn't come to check up on us. Also charged us for kids drinks that were included in the kids meal deal that waa later was resolved by management.

The restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. The staff were amazing and polite. The food was delicious. The pancakes melt in your mouth, the meats were done to perfection and the coffee has a good flavor. It is a divine dining experience.

I was here for a second time on Sunday for brunch and I really enjoyed it. The waiting area is large which allows more guests to sit down. The pancakes are amazing. I especially love them with the butter pecan syrup. I like that they offer turkey sausage and bacon for those of us that don’t eat pork. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food!

On the positive, the pancakes were decent quality, and we were seated immediately. However, there’s more negatives. We sat at the table for almost 20 minutes before our waitress showed up to ask us for drinks. We then waited close to an hour for food to show up, and the only thing that showed up somewhat properly was the pancakes I ordered, although they tasted somewhat undercooked. My moms fries were cold, and got them replaced with more cold fries. Her boyfriends omelette was lukewarm and had over cooked steak, and my girlfriends omelette was lukewarm as well, potentially undercooked and although we notified our waitress about her mushroom allergy, they still put mushrooms in her omelette. So in the long run, all 4 of us got sick to the stomach later on that day. Completely underwhelmed and extremely unsatisfied. Wish I could get a refund.

Everything but the pancakes are consistently disgusting. Both times I have gotten sick to my stomach after waiting 40+ minutes for my food. Appetizer came out burnt, but the waitress (Kayla) got us new ones. Steak tips were terribly dry, almost inedible. Omelette was okay, but the quality of the food was not good overall. Bill was expensive for the quality of the food that we received. Not satisfied at all. If you go here, I’d order nothing but pancakes. :/

Drank 4 Steamy hot choclolates and they ran through me like Usain Bolt. I ended up shitting myself in the eatery and the staff did even offer to clean me up. Had to penguin walk all the way back to my car. Good food tho 10/10

Last visit was fine, however this time the toast was stale, the meals we got extra bacon instead of sausage didn’t come with extra bacon, and the burrito we ordered was a bowl instead. For the price, I won’t be back again.

It took us 15 min to get in which is fine but then it took them 20 min to take our order and almost an hour to get our food. When we got our food it was cold and the portions where small for 13 dollars. Plus they where very rude to us just because we asked for a booth instead of a table. We have been to two locations one in Lethbridge alberta and one in Minneapolis. It was like this both times

This place ROCKS!! This place is unique, we had a pot of coffee so we dont need to wait for a refill ????????(coffee here is very good). The oero milkshake was also very good (not too thick) it came with a paper/cardboard straw. Im not a big fan of birthday cake, but that pankakes was amazing. The omelete was also good (it was not spicy at all in my taste). The waitress was very nice and knowledgable, the manager came to our table to see how was everything (cool guy). The table syrup is something unique (the blueberry taste like a blueberry pie filling ????) I will definitely go to IHOP again.

Tasty enough if a little expensive for factory food. But where else are you getting New York cheese cake pancakes!!

We showed up at 12:30 on a sunday and there was a huge line but it went fast. The front staff were friendly and efficient. Our server was great as well. It's in dire need of a good cleaning but it's pretty new so it doesn't always show. We noticed a lot of people cleaning their glasses before drinking out of them. Obviously having some soap issues with their dishwasher. The portions were small for the price and food was quite poorly prepared. The pancakes weren't cooked in the center and actually still had a couple spots that were liquid yet. The hashbrowns were awful. Not cooked all the way and served cold. I tried the country fried steak and we won't be back again but I would definitely avoid that dish. Pop is $3.19 and a smaller glass of OJ was $3.99. The service really was top notch but the tables on both sides of us were commenting on how bad the food was and our whole table basically said they didn't feel good and weren't coming back. Keep your expectations low if you visit.

The service was terrible No serving people smiling. Seated right away then waited 10 minutes before any server came to us and only because another service noticed we were getting upset. Then all of a sudden 3 servers show up. Never have we experienced this before at that IHOP. As we were going I saw maybe the manager ask the girl who proceeded out bill to see if we gave a tip. Here is your tip, hostess maybe asked us for our drinks then let who is looking after our section we were there. Other people seem to be waiting for service also. Won't be back for awhile

Have eaten here several times and always had great attentive friendly service and good food. Their steak and eggs is a good deal and always done the way I like it . The restaurant is always clean and tidy and usually busy but only takes about 10 minutes to get a table at busy times . Great covid protocols in place and the manager does an excellent job of keeping this restaurant humming along smoothly. Well staffed with great servers .

Another very impressive visit at IHOP! Everyone there is very friendly and the food is always up there with a more finner restaurant with their large portions and fabulous flavors. My husband and I highly recommend their New Cheesy Chicken Bacon Ranch, either on a bed of rice or as I had...on mash potatoes. ????

The absolute worst service! Hardly anyone here eating but no service. They get angry if you ask them to clean the table? We ordered more food bc we were still hungry and they left all the plates on the table. We asked them to clean it and they ignored us. We complained about under cooked bacon and they took the price off our plate to recook it. Most staff more concerned with iPhones then service. The food was actually good and we did enjoy the pancakes. The staff spent more time gossiping about us then providing service. Edit. We spoke to the manager and she was responsive and helpful and gave us a gift card so we can so we can give them another try. That made the situation so much better. We feel so much better about the situation.

This man saved my life. Ordered from this location through skip the dishes and didn't use the proper address, called here to ask if they would help relay a message to the driver (skip message had no staff available). Homie made sure to confirm my address and even got my number in case the driver got lost. I don't have a name for this hero but he the real MVP. If I ever find out his name, I will surely name my first born son after him.

This is my all time favorite casual breakfast place . This IHOP location is quite busy, especially on weekends. The prices are decent and the service is good. Their banana nutella crepe, pancakes , quick two egg and smoke house combo are some of the best options to try.

It's an IHOP. They serve breakfast food. It's a little hard to get into with a wheelchair. No autodoor and the ramp is a bit away with a very narrow sidewalk. However, once inside the hostess was quick to set up the table by removing a chair so my party didn't have to. (You'd be surprised how many places leave us to figure out what to do with an extra chair) Food order came fast. Everything tasted decent. I enjoyed my waffle. Nice to see gluten free options. I wait for the day I see some dairy free ones to!

AVOID FOR SAFETY. ..Would NOT even recommend it to an emeny. 4x we tried them and 4x they failed. Sat April 15th... Everything is mediocre... the food, the service... nothing to write home about... ---A month later we came back cause I guess we forgot about the mediocre visit we had had last time... and this time was more of the same... after ordering, our server went on break, never to be seen again... when we finally got our food it was not hot, hasbrowns were cold... very disappointing...

Nothing special. The food is just okay. We've been here twice. First time was about 10am on a Sunday and we waited about 30-45 minutes to get a table. The second time was a Friday evening and it took about 5 minutes to get a table, but it took forever to get our food. Maybe as the staff get used to the place and the menu it'll be better, but I personally am not planning to go back anytime soon.

Don’t take this three star review the wrong way - IHOP serves you a pancake and they even have bottomless coffee left on the table. The problem is that they have subpar bacon, nothing-special eggs and unless you order something unique to the franchise - you won’t have a great breakfast. This makes IHOP hard to universally suggest - you need to be in the mood for something like a red velvet pancake. The service itself is fine - very friendly . Definitely not worth a 25 minute wait , but if you walk up and order a short stack of something goofy you will probably have a good time. There is no maple syrup - but the selection they got is very American and so I’ll forgive that.

Decent place for breakfast and lunch. Their quality I would rate a 4.5, their service 5, and their pricing at 2! Not impressed that it’s so expensive for eggs and sausages. It costs bare minimum to make, yet they charge a premium. Maybe they adjust pricing based on popularity, however I will probably not visit again. Lots of $7.99 buffets around, though I have not visited any. Best wishes.

Gave this location a try after visting locations in other cities. Happy to say it was a great first impression. Wait was small, less than 10 mins. Our server, Austin, was pleasant and attentive despite how busy he was. He even apologized to the table beside ours for a small mix up with their order. He kept them informed the entire time. He was great with our 8 year old daughter and made her feel completely valued and acknowledged. Our food was served hot and fresh. Will visit again for sure!

Fairly average restaurant, decor is very samey, could be anywhere on the Northern American continent! Menu is ok, enough to satisfy most people. Pancakes are the standard North American fare, very fluffy. Table was clean and the waitresses were polite and helpful. Food was served in an acceptable time and was cooked to an acceptable standard. Value for money was good but be careful about the offers, clarify exactly what you're getting/can/can't order.

We ate there on Labour Day. Service was a little slow, but that was because they were insanely busy. My wife asked for honey with her tea, and it never came. I wasn't surprised that our waitress forgot, because of how busy it was. When our food did finally come, it was very good. It was worth the wait. The room was nice and clean; you could tell it's new. I would recommend IHOP for breakfast for sure.

Just left this IHOP location and we are in the middle of a pandemic when cases of COVID-19 are on the rise. My wife ordered the 2x2x2. When her order arrived there was clearly bodily fluids (snot) imbedded in her pancakes. They took it back and remade the pancakes. The rest of the food on the plate was cold so obviously not remade. It would have been a gross experience on a regular day but during a pandemic it took it to another level with a complete disgard to safety! To top it all off they did not offer anything off on the order and we had to pay for the whole thing. Will not be returning and will be sharing this experience with others.

Although we had a very enjoyable time, and the server was very friendly, having received undercooked pancakes in the past I specifically asked for everyone's to be cooked more. Mine were cooked slightly longer but still not enough, and some were almost raw. We did not return them as with the covid restrictions and possibly a lack of servers everything was very slow. We had no problem with the slowness but I would expect pancakes should be cooked to perfection with all the practice they get!

My wife and I are not fussy or hard to please but we didn’t particularly like it here. The spinach and mushroom omelette dish was “sloppy”, presentation wise, nothing like the picture example. The “fresh avocado” that was extra on the menu had some brown edges and were really thin. It did not appear busy and we waited about 35-45 mins for our meal. They said they were waiting on the steak and eggs but when it arrived, the steak wasn’t charred or seared. Just light brown like it was cooked on med heat or something. Pancakes were too soggy in the middle for my daughter to eat. Altogether the food was good flavour, a bit expensive and nothing really seemed fresh or impressive and we could easily make it at home. I guess for an IHOP first experience we had high expectations since the first time we tried to go here in the past it was too busy and were told it would be an hour wait to be seated, so we left. The staff were nice and the manager came around each table which was good so we give it a 2 star rating. We may be back but we won’t be getting the same dishes.

LOVED IT! It was my first time trying this place and it was great from the moment we walked in. The sat us fast and brought us a pot of coffee right away. My husband ordered the Big Steak Omelet and I had the split decision combo and they were both very filling meals. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The eggs, bacon, sausage and French toast was also very yummy. Our waitress was checking up regularly, making sure we had everything. Overall we recommend for sure!

We stopped by here today for Brunch. It was very busy - we had to wait in our car until there was an open table for us. With some tables closed due to COVID restrictions, wait times can be up to 30 minutes. Once seated, we had a great waitress take care of us. Although it took around 45 minutes to get our food, the coffee was flowing hahaha. Both breakfasts were very good. My strawberries were ice cold (just unfrozen) - I expected these to be hot. The pancakes may have been a touch undercooked near the center. There is an all you can eat option for the pancakes, but you will be full after eating a full stack - believe me. There are a lot of options and if you feel like a food coma at breakfast, this is the place hahaha. Thanks.

But I will say during the current world crisis it is nice to step back in time to a greasy spoon chain (and when I say back in time I do mean the 90s) If were honest with ourselves we know places like this will not make it past the pandemic (I do hope I'm wrong) the old crowd that sustains them is challenged to even leave the house right now. I was starving for some eggs and pancakes so I decided to head over to IHOP Surrey. Unfortunately, that location was closed due to some issues so I went to the new Westminster location. The location is cozy and the staff were very nice. The food was decent, and this is largely why I am giving it 3 stars. The eggs were cold by the time it got to our table and lacked flavour. Let’s just say, salt was my best friend that day. The salsa on top of the eggs was too tangy and gives the eggs a weird flavour. You can tell it’s not made in house. The hashbrowns were delicious and hot though. Overall I would recommend this place if you want some good breakfast style service, but you won’t be blown away.

Service was very quick and friendly. My son loved his pancakes but mine were not cooked all the way through. The server was very understanding and took them off my bill. I'm happy with how things went and don't hold the uncooked pancakes against them. We'll be back.

I regretted to raise this issue as seemed like I was the one who interrupted their work flow and deserved a punishment. Manager was too busy disappearing. Restaurant was very busy. Was there on a Saturday morning, and even though there’s a very big entrance, there was no room to stand to wait. Surprisingly only waited 8 minutes for a table. There are better places out there in comparison to this IHOP. Ordered a breakfast plate with hash browns, eggs and two type of meats. A French toast special also came with the order. Food didn’t come out very hot. Server also got a couple of items wrong and forgot an item completely. Only ate here because it was close by. Will never come back.

I would give more stars because the food was good as well as the service, but I expected more due to the hype. The price was a lot more than I expected and the selection of food was pretty standard. I expected the menu to have some options that were extremely different from any other similar restaurant. I could see if they had the same menu but their prices were unbeatable, then I would give it five stars, but much like any american chain that comes to Canada the prices are never anywhere close to what they pay in the states. I would say give it a try, but I won't be rushing to go back.

Every single time I come to this place they NEVER have what they advertise. This is multiple times I have come here, tried to order something only to be told they don't have it. I have to drive from the opposite end of the city to come here, wait over a half hour to be seated and then not even get to eat what I came all the way here for!! This will be the last time I come to this restaurant!

On Sunday March 25 we attempted to order through Skip the Dishes, after several unsuccessful tries and time wasted we ended up phoning and ordering directly from the restaurant. Drove 25 min to get the food, arrived to find things a little chaotic, got the food after about 10 min, drove another 25 min home to a loving wife who had been very patient, ripped open the tightly tied bags and then the container and the term disappointed wouldn’t quite describe the mess in front of us, worth $35.00 over an hour of my time and the distance travelled? Goodness no, absolutely terrible breakfast to have on our day off together. I wish I could post some pictures of what we received, but this forum unfortunately won’t allow me. IHOP is still awesome don’t get me wrong, they just need to take better care of what they send out when people don’t have the simple recourse of complaining while in the restaurant.

IHOP on Mayor Magrath Drive in Lethbridge was close to our AirB&B and so we stopped in for a late breakfast. The place was busy, and is obviously a popular family weekend eatery. The menu is extensive with a variety of breakfast an lunch choices. Pancakes. of course, is IHOP's signature dish - or side-dish and they come with an amazing choice of topping. I chose an omelet with cheese and mushroom toppings. It was both plentiful and tasty. Service was as quick as can be expected at such a busy place. All in all, a decent meal at reasonable price,

Very large high calorie portions. Everything we had was delicious. We stopped for a late breakfast and decided to skip lunch. It's a popular spot and with limited seating a short wait for entry is very likely. Go early if you don't want to stand in line. It's great for kids if you let them eat junky foods from time to time. There were many children there so if you don't like the sounds that come with children you may want to consider a different establishment.

Nothing special. I usually only go for the novelty of it because we don't have any iHops in the Toronto area. The pancakes are good. It's not that easy to find good pancakes that are not too thick and dry, so if you like pancakes, then you'll enjoy it. I find they're flavoured coffees and drinks way too sugary. Other than that it is likely to be what you would expect.

Seated in good time but it wasn't busy, haven't had to wait too long even when they are. Food has been really good, but there is always something wrong or forgotten - not a big deal but annoying. However the last time there (Sat the 25th July), the server was terrible - got the order wrong, never did a check back so the meal was over before we had a chance to ask for the correction and her attitude was awful. The first time I haven't left a tip - ever!

A horrible experience! Me and my friend went to have brunch there this morning. I ordered a cup of coffee. Then I realized that there was only creme on the table. I asked the waitress if she could bring me milk for my coffee. She asked me if I wanted white milk. I said yes. Then she brought me a big glass of milk. I said to her I just wanna milk for my coffee. She got very mad at me, took away the milk and went to another table in front of me. Then she turned around and yelled at me, “ I asked if you want white milk!” I was in a shock! After a while, she came over and threw the milk cup for coffee on my table! It was HUMILIATING! I spoke to the manager and asked to change the server. He did apologize and said that he would do a follow up. However, it ruined my whole morning and I felt awful. It was my first time there and also probably the last time.

Came here and got seated right away, but it took the server almost 10 minutes to come greet us. We ordered food and waited for 20 min which is fine. BUT when we ordered the food was completely wrong. Not only that while we were eating we were asked to pay. When we told the server the food was wrong she said she would talk to the manger BUT the manger never came to talk to us so I asked PERSONALLY to speak to him and he refunded us in cash. Ihop is usually 5 star for me but today was a 1 star kind of day. As usual the food was really good but the server wasn't. He was friendly to start but I think he forgot to put in our order. We realized this when everyone who came after us had received their order before us. My spouse asked another server about this and she said she didn't see the order. The rest of the visit when we finally got our food, the waiter mostly avoided us. I'm not going to dress down a fellow for an honest mistake but he didn't acknowledge it and there were no refills for drinks. Sorry Carlos, I can't yip today
