Sunday buffet. Great homemade style food. Quality, fresh and pride go into these dishes. I knew when I saw the chef's name proudly displayed and when he personally checked all the dishes. Waitress was at least the most friendly person I met this week. Clean eating area. Kitchen is visible so I can also say it looks clean also. All in all, a great little dinner. I will definately return.

I like Egg's Benny, so when I heard that this "Cafe Stella" had Eggs benny- I had to try it! First let me say- We cook healthy and good at home, which affects the judgement and therefor don't go out to eat too often... I had their eggs benny with the ham. ( My favorite is back bacon) I really didn't care for the homemade biscuit, under the egg and sauce, it made the biscuit way too soggy (since I like my egg soft). The sauce was ok. They deep fry large cubed potatoes which, I think is a sin! Hashbrowns should be grilled NOT deep fried. -Again my opinion, I used to be in the field. My husband had the scrambler, he didn't care for their strong sausage. The homemade jam was great, but unfortunately some of his toast was on the burnt side. We probably ate half the meal. I'll try the one across the street next time. Perhaps try these guys for a lunch to see if that's any better. The place is very clean. Service was good- except reminding the waiter that we wanted milk with the meal....But EVERY restaurant seems to forget, we are used to it. P.S. I have been a waitress before.

Ordered in lunch today for a staff meeting. All the meals were delicious! I had caesar salad - the dressing was sooo good - and beef dip, au jus was flavourful beef was tender and nestled on a bun made for dipping. Thanks again for a wonderful lunch!

Top 10 places to eat out or order for take out. They have ready made meals you can stop in and pick up and walk out within a few minutes. Fast! Friendly! Awesome service. Take out options! Take home options! Spices, baked goods and even homemade ice cream!!! These ladies are exceptional at what they do and it’s a blessing to have them do it with such style. My girlfriend and I ordered a full Christmas meal, four servings for less than $80. The food was delicious and definitely worth it. This is definitely a fantastic choice if you need to order catering rather than going through the hassle of shopping, prepping, and cooking for specific occasions. As long time patrons we know the care and artistry that goes into your cuisine and our wedding would be no exception. The communication right from the start was flawless as we mixed and incorporated different dishes. You took what we had dreamed up on paper and transformed it into a pristine Italian banquet. Your networking with our venue was so seamless it was one less worry for us on such an important day. From the charcuterie table right through to the dessert the layout and plating was done with such care. Look, when someone comes in absolutely desperate for a washroom who has a medically diagnosed condition... you don't TELL them they need to spend money to use your washroom. Have a bit of compassion! I won't ever eat here nor will I recommend to anyone due to the lack of compassion and understanding I recieved today. The medical condition I have is IBS and it is extremely painful and uncomfortable. Adding, I am a community support worker... I am not sketchy in any way, shape or form. The owner backs the rude staff up aswell... MEDICAL CONDITIONS NEED TO BE EXCUSED! Put a code on the washroom door. Good god.

I wasn't exactly optimistic when my dad said we were going here to eat, however when I walked inside I felt a very great atmosphere. My dad and I were greeted by a very nice gentleman and we sat down, placed a complicated order (as we always do lol) and we were most impressed, we had a customer wrap made for each of us, the chicken was tender and juicy, the cheese was fresh and delicious and the ranch complimented it brilliantly, I absolutely enjoyed my lunch here and will come here again, the staff is very friendly. My only complaint would be that I found some hairs in my food, however they weren't logged in there, if that was the case I would've left. However they just fell out. Overall, the staff and food was brilliant. Great job.

If I could give this place 10 out of 10 I would. Delicious home cooked breakfast. Our server Justin was absolutely excellent. We have just been on a 30 day road trip and he was simply the best waiter we have had on our entire trip. Since we have been dining at least 50 times in the last 30 days I can't explain how excellent he was. Not to mention they make delicious cinnamon spread and jam that you can buy and take home. Better than any store bought spread you can buy. The owners heard we were from out of town and gave us a huge plate of fresh home made cannoli for dessert, delicious!!!!!!!!! Absolutely great dining experience. This is a must stop for locals and people traveling into Lethbridge.

Our Sunday Brunch at Chef Stella's was simply amazing, especially considering we were an out-of-town hockey team of hungry 16/17 year olds! Simona and her team made us feel right at home and were on top of everything ... they were ready for us when we arrived and got us on our way in good time with a few laughs thrown in for good measure! And can't say enough about the food. From the family-made sausage, real scrambled eggs (organic and locally sourced), pancakes from scratch, real whipped cream, roast turkey dinner casserole,, etc ... nothing fast-food about this place. Chef Stella and her sister Simona have a real gem here. Notes: we called on Friday evening and they suggested we come at 9:30am instead of 10:00am to avoid the Sunday Brunch crowd, and the Brunch Buffet was well-managed by the kitchen so never an empty dish when we went back for seconds.

We recently moved to Lethbridge and we quickly became pretty regular customers. The breakfasts have huge portions and are delicious - and the scones are amazing. The staff are super friendly and understanding when it comes to my partners picky eating, and provide wonderful recommendations when we just can't decide what to get. We have tried many of the take-home market items (breakfast scrambler, turkey pie, lasagna, etc) and have been wowed by all of them. Best breakfast stop in Lethbridge - it's even better that it's family owned&operated.

I've been here a few times now and it is simply amazing. Everything I have had has been delicious. We were there last Sunday for the breakfast buffet. It was amazing. Best pancakes ever, delicious breakfast potatoes and you have to try the spicy sausage hash. Even the scrambled eggs were great! They also make their own jams/jelly's. I'm still thinking about the blackberry strawberry peach jam! We will definitely be back often!

The limited hours can make it hard to visit, especially because its always bustling with people, but it is so worth the effort. The food is absolutely fantastic and so fresh, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Last time I went they made my friend something that was off special without hesitation, despite the restaurant being busy. This was above and beyond, truly made for a fantastic experience since she had been desperately craving the item without realizing it was a limited special. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area.

Home made fresh pasta and other meals always with fresh ingredients. Nothing fancy here just delicious food and a small selection of wines and craft beer. Good sized portions of fantastic food. This particular night was a themed menu. Italian night. Shrimp in garlic sambuca sauce and ceasar salad to start. Then seafood fettuccine and spicy Italian sausage cannelloni for the main course. We've also come for breakfast which was a buffet. Never dissatisfied, always very pleased.

1) 5 stars for being an Italian restaurant and living up to the expectations of delicious Italian cuisines. 2) The variety of dishes that are available for the take home meals are excellent. Not sure if the take home and reheat meals is just a pandemic special (lockdown time) but whatever, I love it. It's super convenient and affordable. 3) When it's not lockdown and dine in is an option, the staff is extremely friendly and definitely go out of their way to make sure your experience is the best it can be. 4) Alright, now my top picks. All of the food is amazing but I will lay out my personal favs. The Saturday brunch special (not listed on the menu) is definitely a top pick but propably a limited time thing, not really sure. It has a Pancake, perogies, bacon, sausage, eggs, fruit. Now before I chat about my next pick, I must speak about the sausage. It's not your typical sausage links, this meat is ground up and cooked with red peppers and the most mouth watering spices. I usually don't care for sausage but this stuff has put bacon to shame. My next breakfast pick would be the Mammas Italian morning (with sausage added of course). I'm a saucy kinda guy and love nothing more than my poached eggs and potatoes cover in homemade tomatoes sauce topped with melted provolone and parmesan cheese. I was skeptical at first but 11 out of 10 on this one. The breakfast burger is great no matter what time of day it is. I would smash this burger into my stomach for breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, dinner, and midnight snack. One last item, for any side I will always pick the Italian pasta salad. The flavor explosion in your mouth is just uncomparable to anything else. It may only be a side dish but I can make this my whole meal which I have asked for and they made it happen.

The restaurant is just descent size but, i like the ambiance.their food was good, they made it really taste good and fast. Service second to none, good luck getting your coffee down past half. My husband enjoyed the Italian sausage in his dish. The croissant was creamy and divine. Benedict was a little loosely stacked. Just had our wedding catered by these food angels! The food was beyond anything we could ever of imagined. myself and my guests walked away stating how it was by far one of the best meals we've ever had! The taste alone blew our minds but the plating was what really brought it to the next level. Absolutely beautiful and elegant. The sunshine salad was delicious and took our breath away. the beef tenderloin melted in our mouths! The gnocchi were little clouds of delicious! the mousse at the end was perfect! cannot recommend them enough! ps try the creme puffs!!!

THE best sandwich ever - Crispy zucchini and eggplant parmesan. It's amazing. Edit: I've gone a few more times since my last post. Everything I've had has been incredible. The Italian breakfast is unreal - It's so rich and delicious. I can't stop thinking about it. I've also had the mushroom/mozzarella burger and it was simply to die for. Everything is exceptional. They don't cut corners - it's so delicious. Highly recommend.

It feels like a waste to write a review about Stella's. There is a reason this place is always full, everyone knows how amazing the food here is. But, they deserve another five stars because the service is also always exceptional and more people need to appreciate restaurants like this. First let's talk food. The food is almost entirely homemade, often local, and always delicious. The ingredients are very high quality, the portions are sizeable, and the prices are very affordable. You should come here for the food, you will not be disappointed. Also, if you are on a time limit for work lunches, tell the staff and they will get you in and out on time. That leads me to part two, the staff. Friendly, knowledgable and very accommodating. That's everything you expect in staff, but these ladies and gentlemen go above and beyond. The chef will come out to say hi to patrons who want to ask questions, the servers will go see if they can sell you the hot sauce that impressed you so much, and everyone takes allergies extremely seriously. In conclusion, you probably already go here frequently, but if you don't, start ASAP. You will not regret it.

We chose Stella’s Diner & Catering for our wedding for a number of reasons: Firstly, she was incredibly friendly, professional and provided excellent customer service. She provided a clear vision of what she was offering and was happy to give professional suggestions/advise to get the most of our meal. Secondly, have you eaten at Stella’s?! Choosing them was a no-brainer because their food is delicious. The result? We had family-style service at our wedding which featured gnocchi, bacon wrapped tenderloin and a fleet of other outstanding desserts and dishes. I can say with absolute confidence that this was the best wedding meal I had ever had. Great experience. If you are looking for great food for your wedding, look no further.
