I placed an ordered and I waited for over 1 hour before my order was ready. I ordered a "Jalea" and it was missing the "salsa de cebolla" that usually comes with the "Jalea". The "Ceviche" did not taste fresh, the fish was way over cooked. The meat for the "tallarines saltado" was not tender at all, we were not able to eat it at all, however, the remainder of the dish was very flavourful. The "pollo a la brasa", the chicken was extremely dry. The sauces and fries were good. Overall, I did not enjoy it as much as I usually do when I order from Pachamama.

Oct.2nd ordered to go a Jalea Sol Y Mar at $35 and a Parihuela for $20. -Parihuela was ok on the taste side, but you get almost no seafood in it -Jalea: it was so dry, it had like no salt or spices in general. Worst than an hospital food which is by far better for what we got. Salsa criolla was served a side and it had also no salt, pepper and no lime!!! So it was just corn, tomato and onions! This is the first time we order from Sol Y Mar Laval, we normally go to the st Hubert one, But for sure this is the last time here! Very disappointed to have a $68 lunch bill for food that is in the garbage now!

I went today and it was packed... sit outside and not once have a server came to ask what i wanted to drink or anything just gave me dry corn w 2 different sauce. Customer service is very horrible. I am giving it 4 stars because the ceviche was good and fresh. However, there some improvements to be made. I ordered a beer and it came without a glass and it was hot. Disappointed with my lomo saltado de carne which I ordered through uber eats. It's suppose to come with the lomo(meat) with fries and rice and they forgot to put rice and I don't get how they can possibly forget to put something as simple as that. This plate isn't cheap, it's 27.95 plus tax. I expect everything to be in order before they ship it to the customer. Unacceptable, they need to do better. Again this is a 30$+ plate..

Après, évidemment, ils voulaient nous charger l’entrée qu’on a jamais eu et qu’on avait demandé de nous la rapporter puisqu’ils l’avaient oublié (après tout, ça arrive). Mais voilà, ils ne l’ont pas amené et voulaient le charger. Évidemment on a dit qu’on ne l’avait jamais reçu, encore une fois, serveuse fâché ????????‍♀️. Pas mal tous les invités se sont fait mal charger, les factures n’avaient pas de sens. Et pour finir, je comprends que de fois il peut y avoir beaucoup des gens que ça doit être un peu compliqué, mais quand on est allé il y avait maximum 3 tables occupées, beaucoup d’employés traînaient et faisaient rien, ils parlaient entre eux, bref, ils ne vivaient pas un moment de rush… Très mauvaise expérience, je ne le suggère à personne, j’avait très envie puisque c’était la première fois que j’allais à un resto péruvien:( J’espère qu’ils vont prendre ces commentaires de la meilleure façon possible et pourront faire des modifications pour mieux accueillir leur clientèle.

Not a good experience at all!! Ordered 1 bottle of wine and 2 ceviches to start and requested the family whole chicken meal. To be told by the waitress that we can’t have the whole chicken family meal to dine in the resto, only for take out. We’d have to order 1/4 plates for everyone. We responded that it doesn’t make sense, since it’s on their menu. Nope, manager doesn’t want and she got in trouble the last time she did it. Ok……..We ask to speak to the manager. After waiting 10 minutes , we get up and leave since no one came and see us. Waitress was at the door and said that they were trying to call the manager and can’t get in touch with him. Ok??? There’s better places to spend your money.
