En plus où nous étions assis il y avait un chariot avec différente coupe de viandes qui était juste là à rien faire... proche d’un poste où le personnel place les commandes où ce dit personnel parlait fort de tout et de rien... au moment du paiement (où on a attendu encore un autre 15 minutes même si la serveuse savais très bien que nous étions prêts à paye et partir) notre serveuse c’est fait « bumper » par le gérant (ou je sais pas qui) de façons très rude pour qu’elle aille servir un autre table et il a terminé la transaction avec nous sans sourire ou rien... en résumé service lent, bouffe ordinaire et personnel pas trop professionnelle.

Quality and delicious dishes. Good choice of wines and cocktails. However, I had a horrible experience because of one of the managers. This rude and ignorant manager totally ruined my family dinner. We came on the day of mussel all-you-can-eat. We Never planned to share the dish. However, after we ordered our meals to our nice waitress, the manager came to us and rudely repeated that we were not allowed to share. Not only that, he called out another waitress from bar and asked her to look over our table. Both the manager and the waitress from the bar kept walking around our table while we were eating. Whenever we ordered new dish to our nice waitress, the waitress from the bar repeated again that we were not allowed to share. Because there were two waitresses taking our orders, the kitchen had misunderstandings. Overall it was a mess. The waitress from the bar didn't even know the names of the desserts of that day. Horrible Horrible Horrible experience. I would walk out of the restaurant right away if I see this manager again.

Awesome awesome awesome I took the New York Strip loin, it was sublime. I don't remember the last time I ate a steak this good. The vegetables and peppersauce were very very good. I'm giving this establishment 4 stars because of the fantastic meat cuts. I had a fillet mignon and it was perfect. Great meat quality and selection and cooked to exactly what you desire. Nice and cozy atmosphere and the staff Is great. If I would rate one thing with 2 stars is the bar. A pignacolata is definitely not made with lemonade and does not contain cherries. We also ordered a mojito and it was so sweet that one of my guests didn't even drink it. Heineken was fantastic though ;) I do recommend this place for the food but mixed drinks could use some professional bartending skills which is something I expect the this type of restaurant.

Just finished a birthday super with family.... horrible experience..party room reserved for 17:00 and rushed out the door by 19:30. Didn't get our complimentary dersert and coffee with our order. Both managers hovering at both doors and micro managing staff to get us out. Mistakes on our orders and when politely confronting manager with bowbtie.. nothing done to help us.. unprofessional staff and lack of organization. Very dissapointed with my supper and to finish the evening having one of the managers bump into at the entrance with out excusing himself or any hostpitality. Wouldn't recommend this place to my mortal enemy. Thank you for the terrible supper.

I went there to celebrate my 25h birthday. The food is super good! The service is excellent! I got the Oscar surloin. It comes with a Bernaise sauce that is out of this world. I got a drink named Raspberry Cosmo. The waitress Valeska suggested it and I don't regret. Everyone was satisfied with their dish. Rib steak, steak and fries, Cancun chicken avocado, general tao poutine, New York striploin were all good. The sangria (yellow and blue) is also good. they were not cheap with the alcohol so the drinks are tasty. My only disappointment is that I didn't get a creme brûlée and it's one of the reason I choose this restaurant. But I'll come back just to get one .

Nous n'avions que des verres d'eau pendant tout ce temps et nous ne voyions pas vraiment notre serveuse. Nous avons dû manger en 10 minutes notre repas et le 4e repas (un tartare!! ????) a été servi quand nous avions terminé et après que mon amie leur a dit d'annuler la commande. Pendant que la dernière personne ayant été servie mangeait, le gérant (je présume ????) est venu nous voir pour nous demander d'un ton gêné si tout allait bien. Nous lui avons fait part poliment de notre insatisfaction et il a dit "Ah, ok" et est reparti. Aucune excuse, ni offre de rabais... ???? Je n'avais jamais vu ça!!! ???? Pendant que l'on payait, la serveuse, du bout des lèvres, s'est excusée pour l'attente. Au moment de mettre nos manteaux, l'hôtesse à l'accueil est venue se confondre en excuse, mais c'était trop peu trop tard. Quand nous sommes partis, il n'y avait plus aucun client, le resto était vide. They were extremely patient considering the fact that half the guests were late. We felt no pressure, our waiter Alexandre was incredibly polite & had a smile the whole time. Excellent steak house. They were super friendly and the waitress explained and showed us all the types and cuts available. The rib eye steak was wonderful, very tender and not chewy, just amazing (picture below is of the rib steak, not rib eye). Sides were good as well, calmari was quite tasty. It’s an expensive place (all good steak houses are), but this is one of the best in Laval (better than Madison’s and The Keg).

I went there with a friend to try it out. Overall, the experience was good, but it's missing a little something to make it great. Atmosphere was nice, I liked coming in and seeing the aged meat behind the counter. We were seated pretty quickly, the menu had some good options, but for a place who's name translates to "Beef Porc", I felt it lacked some porc options. I ordered the Tataki Tuna as an entree, with a Filet Mignon steak for the main course. The tuna was well cooked and had a nice little sauce, but I cant say it was incredible. I don't know what was missing, but a nice change of texture would have been nice. The same applies to my steak, it was cooked perfectly to my request, with the red wine sauce, everything was edible, but it lacked pazzaz... The steak had no spices or they didn't taste enough, the veggies that came with it were well cooked, but missed an oil or cheese or something to make them stand out. My baked potato was well done too and also tasted good, but I didn't taste the bacon much or the green onions. The skin wasn't salted like I had at other places before. What I learned during the main course, was that you can ask to see the different meat cuts. They have a rolling tray they can bring to a table to show the cuts. I thought that was pretty cool, but since we didn't know they did this when we came in, we didn't get to experience it. We asked for the desert, they also have a tray for that one. I was happy to see they had a Gluten Free desert, which they mentioned without me having to ask, which was a good touch for someone that's gluten intolerant like me. The desert was very sweet and to my liking. The biggest negative thing I have to mention is that there were a few fruit flies flying around as we ate that was a bit annoying. So, overall, if you are looking for a nice steakhouse, this place is good. However, if you are looking for a new steak experience which will blow your mind, there are other choices out there. I think I personally tried too much that my pallet is too fancy now. I cant blame the restaurant for that.

You will NOT find a better restaurant for a steak or service by my words. I've traveled most of the world, and I have eaten at some very fine cuisine prepared in fabulous and exotic locations. Boeuf Cochon Steak + Bar really beats out all of their competitors, at any price range, or value. Their meat is exceptional, the Porterhouse pictured in my review was simply the best I"ve had in 30+ years of eating high quality food. I would have taken a better picture, but somehow, I left none of that 1.5lb steak standing. With my steak I also received a Caesar Salad (which had some of the tastiest dressing I've ever had, and I enjoyed the flavor of the house croutons). In addition, the other sides were likewise amazing. The sauteed vegetables were crisp, and well seasoned; even tasting like they were fresh despite the time of year. The Baked Potato was likewise, fluffy and airy, like silk and filled with buttery goodness. Most importantly though, the service at Boeuf Cochon, will make you feel like a VIP no matter what. The customer service, and team here are second to none, and I am honored to have had the pleasure of encountering such a lovely restaurant and team. For my entire trip to Montreal, I do not plan to eat anywhere else. If you visit the city, and like food that is like an orgasm in your mouth; I suggest you visit Boeuf Cochon and never look back after.

Fantastic food excellent service. The staff is overall very friendly and professional. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good steakhouse. Think it's worth adding that this is probably the cleanest restaurant I've been to. We had an issue with the fries as some people found that they tasted "old" I believe they were simply overcooked. We mentioned it to the waitress and immediately the manager came over with a set of fries and replaced them. The staff go out of their way to make sure you are completely satisfied. My only comment for improvement would be to the person who brought over the bottle of wine and assisted Anne-Sophie with distributing the plates. A smile would have gone a long way rather than the "uptight" attitude. It does not change my opinion of this place. Thank you

I've visited Boeuf Cochon several time while visiting Montreal and the service has been exceptional. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was timely and not overwhelming. The manager did check on us and the tables around us if the service was good; he was courteous and cared for us and made sure everyone was being served and the food met our expectations. I will definitely continue visiting when I am in the area.

Though we did not physically eat here we did order with Uber eats because they had great reviews and we wanted to try something new. Receive the order, whole plate is missing. 20 something$ plate. My boyfriend called the restaurant to see what happened and the person who answered the phone was immediately on defense mode saying it was impossible as he did it himself. Then after he verified said, oh it wasn't entered probably. Just ask for a refund. Poor customer service. The only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1 is the food we did receive was quite tasty. We each had the surf and turf on special with a 7oz steak and lobster tail. The steak was cooked perfectly and the lobster was buttery. Dans le premier cas, on attend simplement, mais dans le deuxième cas, on doit faire appel au service en risquant de passer pour des clients difficiles. Les verres de vin commandés avec notre repas ont été servis en retard alors que nos assiettes étaient déjà entamées. Notre serveur a dû probablement passer par le bar qui avait sans doute d’autres priorités. Il aurait été préférable à mon avis de retarder nos assiettes en les maintenant au chaud et nous apporter nos verres de vin et assiettes en même temps, plutôt que les assiettes en premier, comme ce fut le cas hier. Notre serveur Charles était très conscient de ces irritants puisqu’il nous a servi, sans critique directe et sans que l’on en fasse la demande, les desserts et cafés aux frais de la maison. Ceci démontre une attention particulière aux attentes de ses clients. Je veux féliciter ici son excellent service. Pour toutes ces considérations, je ne vous accorde pas la note parfaite mais 4 étoiles sur 5. Was the first weekend of allowing people to eat outside after the pandemic. The waitress was great, took our bilingual orders with no problems, and was fast and efficient. The kitchen was just as efficient because all 5 people's apps and entrées were served fresh and at the right time and quickly. At the end of the night we decided to check out the beautiful classy interior and had the pleasure of making acquaintance with the owner. He was just as good as his staff. Personable , informative about the meats and quality of his food/service. It was a last minute decision going to Boeuf Cochon, on a week night. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The ambiance was somewhat relaxed and the decor a modern style with an aged wood and industrial theme. Access getting there is easy and theres lots of parking. Our server was polite and made sure my wife and I were taken care of. This place has massive videowalls airing sports, very nice touch while having a drink and waiting for your food. Music in the background was just loud enough to hear but not interfere with listening to the person across talking to you. The menu has a good variety of meat dishes however, there something for everyone... even if you're not a meat lover. I had a 7oz filet mignon dish with a baby spinach salad. My wife had the grilled salmon. Everything was perfect. Taste, presentation and service and as far as the price is concerned, you get what you pay for. Expect to pay just over $100 including taxes for 2 meals and 2 drinks... not including tip. The crowd varied in age from young to older, so I, being 52 didnt feel out of place. Such a fun experience. We had a late reservation (9pm) and the place was packed with parties, bachelorette and a wedding reception. The atmosphere was great. People were dancing around the tables and having a great time. The food was excellent. We ordered calamari and I had the prime rib roast and my bf had the Oscar sirloin. Omg, to die for. Everything was delicious. We also shared a caramel mousse cake. Fantastic. I can't wait to go back in a few weeks. Definitely one of my new fave steakhouse. Also has tons of parking.

As a restaurant owner, I know how damaging a bad review can be. So, I decided to calm down and give an honest and balanced review. It has clean and modern setting, excellent to have dinner with a friend. Food and drinks were good and portions abundant. The missing star is for the service. As other people mentioned, it seems they don't like to serve you in English and want to see you out as fast as possible. The waitress answered our requests with strange comments like "I never heard such a request in my life" and so on. We had a hard time enjoying our conversation because we were forced to order or leave. I had to directly ask if there is a problem to stay. While I will hesitate to go there again, I still recommend the restaurant.

The place is beautiful, the waitress described to us the meat platter really well, the wine cellar is incredible and the dessert platter is huge! My hubby went for the dry aged piece of rib steak and let me tell you that it's the way to go! She took the time to present us a beautiful cart filled with the different cuts and to explain everything to us. We were so full with our dinner so we decided to not take any dessert because it would've been too heavy and sweet, but she had a little thought for us and brought us a nice little plate of fruits. I've been twice. The guests I was accompanied with in those instances ordered a variety of plates. Rib steak, filet mignon brochette, and big boss burger are really good (juicy, fresh, and delicious). Stir fry veggies that accompany steak or burgers, if you choose to substitute fries or potatoes, could use some enhancement. Too many carrots. Please get some asparagus, broccoli, peppers, and green beans going in there (carrots are good but in both instances I ordered them were overwhelming). I like the grilled mushrooms over the rib steak, nice touch! Service is OK but should be better to earn 5 stars. There's always someone different coming to the table (Saturday night) and a few orders were late. And please, I don't want to make a big deal out of this, but if the customer prefers English, (young ladies who are waitresses I am speaking to you), don't blink, don't hesitate, just speak English. It's what the customer wants. I like this place better than Madison's and Baton Rouge. Main reason is the serving size and food quality. Have been very disappointed with the other 2 places as of late. Let's hope it continues and gets better for Boeuf Cochon. Thank you!

The poutine here is amazing. 15$ and you get a really good quality gravy and fries. The general tao poutine is amazing and you get a lot of flavourful chicken! The flavours really blend well together and it really does work! Its the best of both worlds!

Le jarret de porc cuit dans la bière était copieux et la viande se détachait de l'os. Les accompagnements sont cuits à la perfection et la purée de pommes de terre est savoureuse avec son fromage fondu. Cependant, le tartare et la bruschetta en entrée étaient décevants. La portion de tartare était très petite (comme cela l'est souvent en restauration, je dois avouer) mais il manquait de goût. La bruschetta n'en est tout simplement pas une. C'est plutôt un pain plat avec salsa de tomates et fromage. Ce n'est pas mauvais, juste un peu décevant. Châpeau aux serveurs/serveuses, le service était professionnel, souriant et rapide malgré le fait que la place était bondée (3 fêtes en même temps). Suggestions de vins intéressantes et cave bien remplie. Les drinks sont inspirés mais peut-être un peu chers. Très bruyant. Il faudrait aussi des rideaux en fin de journée car le soleil tape directement dans les yeux des personnes attablées face à la fenêtre.

I went there with my friends and the food was great so was the service. i ordered 10 oz filet mignon was cooked perfectly and was exacly what i asked for. very happy. will definately come back . much better than many other places. i recommend boeuf cochon steak bar!!

This is the best steak house I've been to in the Montreal area. We went on a Weds night. Impeccable service. Great selection of aged meats. Perfect cuts and excellent preparation. My entire table was floored at the experience, food and service. The decor is inviting, the mixed drinks were well tended. My table reccomends bloody Caesar's or mojitios. It seemed it would be great for a couple, family or group. It was a working dinner for us and it could not have been better.

I really wanted to love this place but sadly the service was even more than disappointing. The waitress was so rude, not only she poured the wine like it was basic water, then passed 15 minutes complaining to her friend, the bartender, about us by pointing at us directly... Thank God the manager was here to help with the experience, but the waitress ( the one with the long black ponytail and fake lashes), made so much damage, there was no coming back. Not only, some of us got a raw steak on our plate, we had to wait minimum an hour for appetizers. I'm not gonna hide it, we were a group of 15, but we did call to reserve a week ago... Let's not talk about how we never had our glasses of water refilled, if we were lucky to have one from the beginning....
