This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Laotian restaurant.
Wish this place was closer to home! The food is reminiscent of the Vietnamese home food I grew up with. I'm really happy to have found a place where it's not just the typical Pho menu (nothing wrong with that but we could really use more variety!)
Outstanding food! Thanks for the awesome service!
Great food and service. Design very pleasing too.
Great service and the cashew chicken was excellent!! Will be back again for sure!
the new location looks great and the food is still exceptional
Small place but it has that authentic family vibe. Definitely traditional Lao and Thai cuisine. You can tell they take pride in their food. My husband and I love going here. Always friendly service and delicious food!!
Small place, large parties should reserve. Amazing food, clean, great staff and delicious food.
The food is delicious. They have variety of dishes. Definitely worth checking out.
This place is PHENOMENAL. Not only is the space much nicer than when they were on the one-way, but the food seems to have picked it up a notch. Great service, awesome flavours, the hot sauce condiments are a must. Will be back soon.
Went and tried lunch special, had laotian stew. Thought it would have thicker broth and be more hearty...was like a soup. Tasted ok but didn't wow me. My first impression was how small portion was and not much meat. $10 bucks is a good deal, I might come back and try again someday. Decor is nice and clean.
Delicious food, yummy non-alcoholic mocktail, excellent quick & friendly service. Will eat here again
Great ambiance and some interesting food.
A must go! Definitely a hidden gem in Langley. The decor is fresh and simple. The service was amazing and the food came out hot and quick! They also service Thai beer (Chang) which is amazing. They make the noodles in house fresh everyday. Spring rolls were on point! Another must have appetizer is the chicken satay. Also family owned an operated!
Great fresh authentic Thai on a busy Friday night! Chicken Satay was the best I've ever had. Drunken noodles also phenomenal.
Meal with my daughter before she heads north for home. My son was there to share the meal.
Authentic laos & Thai cuisine. This is our favorite place to eat in Langley area. Always ordering green curry chicken so delicious. Highly recommended.
Has been coming since they've open n a bigger space now,, it's good food & nice ambiance, I'd recommend to everyone
Great food, staff is pleasant and helpful
The patio is open for dine in
This place has my most favorite food that nowhere else has... And it's so far the best Thai restaurant around here~!!
Good
This has to be one of my favourite Thai/Lao restaurant. Everything tastes authentic as if you’re eating homemade. Ever since I moved here, I’ve missed my moms cooking. The food here reminds me of home! If you’re looking for good quality and authentic Thai/Lao food, I highly recommend coming here. The staff are friendly and provided nothing but great customer service.
The server was very incompetent. I went during lunch and ordered two items. The server did not ask if it was off the lunch menu and just assumed it was off the regular menu. When we got them the bill we asked the server why our bill was more than the lunch specials. She responded with “ you guys ordered off the regular menus” As a server you are suppose to clarify with the customer if they are ordering off the regular menu or the lunch menu. She then dropped our dirty plates on our laps and feet... She then told us that she was unable to adjust the bill because we already ate the food....The bill was not adjusted and she offered us 10% off and blamed it on us. Please re train your servers.
Great authentic Lao and Thai food. I was a bit weary when I spotted this restaurant thinking it might be a westernized asian restaurant but was pleasantly surprised at the legitimacy of the food. Great find
I nearly always get the drunken noodles with tofu. They are really good. Not too greasy. Pre COVID-19, there was always a variety of hot sauces and pastes on the tables so that you could spice to taste. I forgot to ask for some this time, but the dish wasn't missing any flavour, just heat. The dinner portions are big enough for me to make two meals out of them. The servers are always friendly and don't push you along.
Excellent food ,great service and price .Would go there again ????????
Wow, just found this little gem in Langley. Great food, excellent portions, unbeatable prices. Really nice clean eating area with friendly helpful staff. Have only had one dish... Can't wait to go back to try another dish.
Naka is super good! All the dishes are so fresh and the noodles are perfectly cooked! Not too greasy! SO good!
My husband and I love this restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious, drinks are unique and wonderful and the servers are lovely. Food comes quickly and is hot.
Very disappointed in the service we received from Naka Bistro today. We called to make a reservation for our daughter's birthday and explained that we had a group of 7 with a couple of children and a grandparent in the party who has major mobility issues and disabilities due to a stroke. After speaking to the manager we were told that it is their policy to not make any exceptions to their no reservation policy regardless of the circumstances and that we would have to be served on a first come basis despite the challenges that our party may have with that. It is very disappointing that in this day and age any business would not accommodate the disabled in this fashion. In fact, we feel this may be at some level discriminatory. We would strongly caution anyone who may be thinking of patronizing this restaurant who may be disabled themselves or knows of someone who may be disabled as it appears they just don't care. There are plenty of establishments in Langley that are happy to accommodate the disabled in these circumstances and we will continue to support them instead of Naka Bistro with our patronage going forward.
Amazing service and amazing food. My wife and I were delighted with everything this restaurant offered.
VERY GOOD
Excellent food. I love the food here; so many different options and everything i have tried so far has been so tasty. And i love how they also have rice noodle dishes for those of us that cant have wheat . Great service too
definitely would come back, the service was great and the food was nicely plated. I would definitely recommend the crab Rangoon it was delicious.
Decor is nice and service was quick. The Pad Thai entree only had 4 prawns. I brought it up with the waitress because I thought there had been a mistake but she checked and said it was correct. I've honestly had the same standard Pad Thai at a food court and that is not a compliment to the food court. It's cheaper and even they give 6 prawns as standard. Food was lukewarm. Food was bland. The best thing about Thai food is the flavour explosion but this didn't hit the mark. Pretty certain the wine was watered down too. We would never go back. Poor food, high prices and just not quality.
Great spot. Went for lunch and had the Pad Thai which was a decent size with a salad and spring roll included. Very tasty with a pleasant atmosphere. Will return in the future.
Food was really good but a bit pricey.
Dine in
Awesome Thai Green Curry. Really chic place, lovely atmosphere, great decor and design. I had a direct view of the music videos they were playing so it was fun to watch while eating. Bathrooms were open. The only thing I would critique is that it did take about an hour to eat from sitting down to leaving—if you're in a rush, it might be best to call ahead and order then.
GOOD FOOD and the staff are friendly.
Worth the drive to Langley! Lao sausage and whole fried fish are the rock stars of this menu at this wonderful Lao restaurant. Now it's a great time to go as restaurants seem a little less busy all around after the reopening and this place gets BUSY. One of our favourite places. Excellent food and service.
Love the ice tea and the foods. I wanna go there one more time!!
Loved the fresh tasty food, great ambiance (great for a date) and excellent service. Definitely a hidden gem in Langley. I loved the Or Gai (Laotian stew) and the papaya salad, but be warn their level one spicy was kind of spicy). The Thai ice tea and strawberry cream soda was the perfect compliment to all the spicy food, certainly help to calm the palate.
Great traditional food!
Service was quick and very friendly. I had a soup which was flavorful and plentiful. Price for meal was very fair.
I’m not sure if they’ve changed their management but the workers are different. My family and I come here often to dine in and take out and generally the service is great. This previous time I went I order take out and was told I could wait in my car for 20-30 mins and they would bring it out. 35 mins pass and nothing, we walked in and it was just sitting on the counter and the workers just standing around talking. I definitely was ticked off, especially considering when we ordered we didn’t feel the most welcomed. I liked the old staff. However with that said I won’t let that defer my rating too much as the food here is the main reason we come back everytime. It is on the pricey side but totally worth it. I recommend the Lao platter (with the Thai papaya salad), their drunken noodles and red curry.
Children friendly great food very polite
Extremely slow service, but friendly. We had pineapple fried rice, or gai, green curry, Thai iced tea and mango sticky rice. The pineapple fried rice is a bit too soggy and not enough curry flavor but the fresh pineapple chunks were good.
Such a lovely place. First time I've had Laos food, and I'm very impressed. Waitress was warm and welcoming, and the presentation was so beautiful!
Absolutely exceeded all expectations. Visiting from Edmonton. Excellent service and amazing food in beautiful restaurant. Best value I have had in a long time.
Yummy!
Haven't dined in but have ordered take out several times - the pad thai is so good! The pad kra pow we rec'd had literally no flavor.. with all the good reviews about It they must have missed something, it was 100% bland, no Thai flavor and tasted nothing like padkrapow we've had elsewhere. Red Curry is yummy!
Best lao/Thai place in the area by far. Small, quiet but great service. Try the kao poon it's amazing
I think its probably the best restaurant in Langley, food is always top notch
Really yummy. Been here once and ordered a few items. Flavor is good, some dishes are more Lao then Thai, theyre all really good but there can be a slight difference in flavor from your regular Thai place. The green curry is excellent.
most authentic papaya salad in town. Red curry was yummy but the larb/laab was a missed for me.
Went for lunch. And it was very busy. Place was clean and bright. Very friendly staff, and accommodating. We had the lunch specials for $10 each. Good selection on the specials to choose from. Portions were fairly large. Had no room for dessert.
what a lovely restaurant. the food was a pleasant surprise. not too heavy on the spices. the seasoning was just about right. the atmosphere was incredible and our server was extremely friendly. we will definitely come back to try different dishes.
Amazing food!! I will be back again and again!
Great thai food in Langley. I know there are other places that are a little more recognizable in Langley but this place has good food for a lot more reasonable prices. The lunch specials are amazing values. I also always have a bottle of their chili oil at home. The Pad Kra Pow is my favourite dish here. Savoury and spicy if you like it.
Love this place though be warned...when ordering take out they'll say 20 minutes. Give them 30 or so cause they're 0/3 with me in that 20 minute window lol
Naka Bistro is the best thai in town. Superb quality, ample quantity.
Great food! Amazing service! Awesome atmosphere! Enough said :)
I have been to this restaurant for 3-4 times now. The food is very authentic. Service was always excellent.
Excellent atmosphere, food and service! Pad Thai tastes sooooooo good! A must try Thai and Lao restaurant!
Absolutely stunning flavours, everything was so flavourful, the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is cuz the chicken was over cooked in both dishes:(, but nonetheless an amazing experience, highly recommend!
Had the Pad Thai and the Red Curry lunch special. Both were delicious. The Red Curry was one of the best.
A hidden gem
Went for lunch with my Mom. We both got items off the lunch menu that included a salad and spring roll. Service and food was great. The space is lovely. Clean and airy. When we went to pay, our bill was wrong - we were charged the dinner price. It was quickly corrected but I found this odd for the time of day. We will be back though.
Very good Thai food and Laos food.
Had spring roll and drunken noodles.. food was was good.. would definitely try more.
The only Thai restaurant I tried in Langley was Ban Chok Dee which I generally enjoyed, but this one caught my eye while scrolling through ubereats. Decided to give this place a try and it was an eye opener for me. Haven't tried a lot on their menu, but their red curry and pad thai was exceptional.
Pad thai was great! Really Friendly staff and a very clean restaurant.
Small unassuming place with nice decor. The food is very good. I can recommend the drunken noodles and the Laotian spicy stew. Lots of gluten free options! Great service.
love the food and the service
Wonderful fresh and flavorful.
Every time I visit Naka Bistro the food is delicious. I find the staff very friendly and attentive. If your in the area I strongly suggest visiting.
Great food and a very friendly staff! Will be coming back!
First time we have been to the new location. Flavors were fresh and portion size was appropriate. Papaya salad Lao style was good. Chicken Larp was good. Soup was very good. Crying tiger was disappoint, not for flavor, but the meat was very very chewy and took a few minutes of chewing before safely swallowing. Curry was nice and a lighter style.
The food at Naka Bistro consistently meets my expectations. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Their pad Thai is incredible. The salad rolls and spring rolls are great. I can eat the peanut sauce with a spoon... and the Tom Yum is a burst of spicy flavour. I’d highly recommend.
Very good food and attention
We went to Naka on September 18 ( Saturday) for lunch, but I came from Manitoba. I showed her my Vaccinated Card and Paper Records, she was still not allowed me to dine in because she said that my QR code must be accepted by the B.C. screening system. I call B.C. Public Health Service, the agency told me as long as I showed her my vaccinated records, I’m allowed to dine in restaurants in B.C. I told her that was confirmed by B.C. Public Health Service. She still insisted according to NAKA restaurant police, if you can’t be accept by B.C. QR code system, you are not allowed to dine in Naka restaurant. I’m here to tell you guys, “ Don’t go to this restaurant if you don’t have any B.C. QR code” She turned us away.
Nice spot, jdizz really liked the Khao piek. He said it reminds him of quags
Nice beef plate
The best Thai restaurant in Langley. Period.
(Translated) good environment (Original) 环境很好
Every one have to wait almost 40mins to get fitsr dishes...
Authentic Laos food.
Good lunch specials
Very flavorful Laotian food. Great atmosphere and the ice Thai tea was fantastic
My family and I have gone to Naka Bistro a few times now and every single time we've been there, we have enjoyed the food. Service could be a hit or a miss but regardless they are friendly. It can get fairly busy fast. There is parking available around the restaurant
Best and most reasonably priced Thai restaurants in town
Tom yum going soup is the best ever!! A must have!! Crab Rangoon and drunken noodles are good too!!
Such a wonderful and attentive staff, reasonable prices and delicious food. Highly recommend
Delicious food!
Food is very good. Service is great and the place looks amazing. Very nice. I'll be back more often.
Best Lao/Thai restaurant in town cuz they don't have any competition. Overall the food was good, beef laap and sai gok were good just a tad bit disapointed on their nem khao and chicken satay, it's still good but not good enough for me xD. Would definitely go back and try the rest of the dishes though.
Excellent, food, quick service
The green curry set meal is my favorite. Good service, good food and good price.
Nice interior food was ok service friendly ..
This restaurant I have to visit if I go Langley. Good taste and authentic. I’m a big fan of Prawn paradise and green syrup cream Soda. Another one you should try and it worth to be there.
Fantastic service, atmosphere and food!..cooked perfectly and with just the right amount of spice. Had crab appy, green curry, cashew chicken and drunken noodles..all dishes were amazing! And their cream sodas were yummy too:)
Best Thai or Lao cuisine ever. I was stunned by how they combine spices in each dish. Very impressive.
Great authentic food
Best Thai/Laos food in the area! To drink we ordered the toasted coconut water (Amazing!!) and the Thai Iced Blue Tea which I really enjoyed. For food, we ordered the veggie spring rolls, Pad thai, Nem Khao (highly recommend) and Kao Poon. Everything was delicious, fresh and portions are great. I always leave craving more.
Half-laotian myself, this food was supposed to feel like home and it did. (HOMERUN!!!) Been living in DT Van, BC for 4years now, this place was always quite a trek for me so I never went. A visiting cousin from Montreal wanted to go. And we didn't regret it. Got the big platters and intro. We'll be back to try the specialty we miss so much from home. Thx to everyone The last time I felt like this was in Bangkok or at my mama's home. I know I'm safe now, my laotian soul is saved. I know I can find something close to home and speak the language (not to loose it) in Lower Mainland BC
Best authentic laotian and thai food in the lower mainland
Stopped here by chance and was nicely impressed with everything. The decor was great, very clean, the staff were kind and understanding when we had questions and of course the food was delicious.
Good food, fresh quality and decent portions!
I've only had their shrimp pad thai but I've had it a few times and it's amazing! I wish they would make it spicy but they have lots of options on the side :)
Best service. Best food. Best err'thang
Good selection for lunch.
Great service and delicious food! So many choices!
Authentic thai good. The tong yum soup was one of the best I have! Also the drunken noodle is very flavorful and tasty! Highly recommend.
Delicious food and the waiting staff are super friendly! Would definitely recommend if you like Thai/Lao cuisine (or if you would like to try it)
They don't take reservations. So when we showed up they were already at "full capacity" for covid, meaning 1/4 of seats taken is what I saw. Went to a different restaurant that wasn't doing that stupid restriction. If your going to have something like that in place, you need to take reservations. It's a waste of time for people, HUNGRY people to go down to your restaurant only to be told your not taking anymore people for the night.
Good food reasonable price
Pretty tasty unique food. The Laos sriracha was a favourite
Fantastic food and diligent servers made for a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended.
Thai iced tea is the best Recommend the prawn paradise if you can eat raw food. The dressing is really good.
Great tasting food and service.
I know my food and have tried every place in Langley but this is the tastiest spot in town! Not super cheap but the best and if you go to a lot of Thai places you always see the same dishes and so all of the Laotian dishes are a nicw change
Excellent!
Decent Thai food, been many times and never disappointed.
A hidden gem of Langley! Amazing & authentic cuisine, stylish decor, knowlegable and efficient staff. Arrived 6:30 on a Saturday night, 4-5 tables filled and soon become nearly full. It was our first visit and definitely not our last! See you again real soon...Highly Recommended!
Delicious!
Went during a busy but was worth the wait. Food was delicious and sister said it was the best pad thai she has had in a long time. My 2 year old loved her food. She got the chicken skewers with peanut sauce and cucumber salad.
Food was pretty good, good portion sizes but the service and effefiency was pretty atrocious. The hostess with the piercing in her nose was extremely rude and seemed like she did not want to be there. Her answers were curt, unpleasant and very unfriendly. She brought us our food a few times and it wasn't a pleasent experience. A permanent scowl on her face. The efficiency of the restaurant seemed slow and unorganized. For such a small restaurant you would except the service to be quick. And fluid. Will probably not return.
We drove from Vancouver just to eat here. They have somtam with pa la. Very authentic Lao and Thai food.
I am impressed by the flavour. It is very tasty but my $11 tum yum soup consisted of the mushrooms floating on top and four shrimp. The cashew chicken did not have enough chicken and the spring roll didn't have much filling. The flavour, ambience, and decor is good. They need to rework their portion sizes though.
One of my favorite restaurant in Langley for Asian food.
Super.
The price is right for the serving of each food. Good ambiance and customer service. My boyfriend and I got a way better experienced than in Ban Chok Dee. We will definitely go back here to try the other food in the menu. Plus, we like supporting family owned and local restaurants around Metro Vancouver specifically here in Langley.
I love Thai food, but this was my first time trying Laos food. We ordered the Prawn Paradise which was absolutely delicious but extremely spicy. I don't know if I missed on the menu that it was a spicy dish, but I know we weren't offered a spice level like we were for the Papaya Salad, but now we know for next time. We also ordered the Laos Platter. The Laos Platter is the kind of platter I would order if I was having a few drinks with friends, maybe as a starter but not necessarily dinner on date night. All the components were well prepared & delicious just not what I was expecting for dinner. My partner also had the Iced Thai Blue Tea which was also delicious, unfortunately they can't make it without sugar so I had to make do with the one sip. The decor is nice & the service is friendly. It is quite cold though when sitting near a window. Overall based on our experience, we look forward to our next visit & trying other items on their menu. @inspiringfoodie
The first time I ate Thai and found the food very bland
Good food but the service was weak. Group of six, entwine received their food at different times First person served. Ten minutes later two others served. Twenty minutes later two more were served. Ten minutes later the last person was served. No explanation until the very end when the one person was waiting to be served. The reason was that the kitchen was backed up on a Friday during lunch hour. Slow service, decent food.
Highly Recommend this place! Ordered the Salad rolls, lettuce wraps, green curry , red curry, pad thai and drunken noodles. Very flavorful ..service was not the best.. they were slow at bringing our beverages. However overall everything was amazing and no complaints. Will return !
This is by far one of my favorite restaurants of all time, not just in the lower mainland! If you're not from the area, it is definitely worth the drive out to Langley. Their food is incredibly delicious. Authentic flavors, beautifully plated. I have yet to have something from here that was a disappointment. My must-haves (every time!): Nem Khao, Thai Papaya Salad, Sai Gok, and Green Thai Tea. The sampler platter gives a great selection of items if you're looking to try a few different things.
Hands down a great place to dine at . Great service with such professional and polite beautiful girls . Food is delicious and I recommend this hidden gem to everyone I talk to. If you are craving a taste of Thai/Laotian fusion you have to try this place . I guarantee you will love the food and be back for more.
Unreal delisciousness. At the moment they are really small, so reservations for dinner are highly recommended. Get the Nem Khao...there is no other place in the Vancouver area where you can find this, and it is a whole other level of yummy.
The food here is very delicious food. The restaurant is clean and bright! Absolutely my favorite Thai restaurant in town!
Love the authentic Lao and Thai food here.
Very good costumer services.
The best pad thai!
The best. Very clean. Family run. Love it.
Excellent and unique.
Vary good
Very good
We love going to Naka! The service is always so kind and friendly, their staff is seriously the sweetest. The food is so delicious and comes out quickly and hot. I’m obsessed with their lettuce wrap and really enjoyed their green curry lunch special. Their Thai iced tea and passionfruit drinks are so refreshing. I have yet to try their authentic Lao dishes but will be back again to try more!
Ordered take out. Was there around 7:15 and didn't leave the restaurant until 7:50. I consider this unacceptable... I think 15-20 mins is reasonable. I understand it was busy but I think service is normally just slow here since I was watching the tables as well. Brought food home. It was piping hot which was great. Veggies still had a crunch. Food was alright. It didn't wow me. Might come back to try a few other dishes. Partner had pad see ew, I had the lad nah?? And we got the spring rolls as well. Spring rolls were the best out of everything we got.
Best Lao & Thai cuisine in town! The servers are friendly and customer service is always great every time we visit. Craving their famous Pad Thai as I write this!!!
I went there last nigh for dinner with my sister and I ordered a rum and coke, they asked if I wanted a double and I said sure. When the bill came there was 2x rum and cokes @ $7.50 ea. When I asked about why there was 2 instead of just a double, our waitress snapped back and said that's how we do it here. So for one drink it cost me $15 + tax and tip. Atmosphere was great and food was O.K, but I left with a bad taste in my mouth over what ended up being a $20 double rum and coke.
5 star!
The Thai iced tea is amazing everything else is just average.
Man my fav Laos restaurant in all of B.C! Got everything I like!
Really good Thai. They forgot to add the kashew chicken to our pickup order and when we went back to get it they threw in spring rolls and pad thai for free. I'm now far too full. P.S. try the lettuce wraps or green curry.
We had lunch at Naka. The Or Gai was super flavorful, rich, and satisfying. Red curry was also great. Friendly, family run restaurant worth supporting.
Very nice restaurant in the middle of langley. Food was so good and phresh. And the drinks were amazing. Must get the green thai milk tea. As for food, everything on the menu was delish LOL.
Love this place. Staff are wearing masks, and polite. Fast and friendly service. I'll be back!!
We reached at the bistro 40 minutes before and they closed the in-house. When a restaurant has an hours on the google for 9, it should be open until 9 or change the time to 8. They have just lost a customer.
Fantastic food with great service. Wonderful flavors. Will definatly go again. Love live love this place!
Great food, beautifully set up and just absolutely the best! We had our staff Christmas party there and the staff we're amazing. Loved every moment there and would love to go again!
Good Thai food
Laotian friend and I went here for lunch: pretty good, she says. Bought some of their homemade chili sauce to bring home, too.
Great place great food good customer service “very clean “
The food is so amazing!!! The Lao papaya salad is da besst!!! I told the server I wanted a super spicy one and she got me. The other two are also fantastic!! They all go well with sticky rice ????????????A MUST TRY RESTAURANT
Very delicious food.. elegantly presented.
food was excellent there except one of the menu solds out quickly and hard to even try. need to call to see if the particular dish is available still that day. if you sit closer to the big windows, prepare blanket or scarf or warm clothes as it can get quite cold. I had wear my winter jacket on in the middle of eating. food will also go cold quicker obviously. you can feel cold air creeping on you. other than that, awesome food.
Service
Best Lao and Thai food in town! Kao piek is their signature dish. Prawn Paradise is so delicious!
tucked away in Langley on the main drag, this little place offers authentic south east asian flavors, we popped in and it was very quiet, only one other table was seated at dinner time we ordered after a considerable wait time, the only waitress was handling alot of take out orders over the phone and dealing with pick up orders. it was ok we sat at the window table ourselves and eventually ordered a shrimp pad thai , and tom yam soup- pretty good; authentic flavors and good ingredients. our host/waitress was young and helpful, she explained her parents were from `laos, and that her uncle and aunt owned the restaurant. prices were comparable to `vancouver and the only only drink we ordered was a virgin mojito( which was assembled but not mottled). recommended
Good food with a few downsides. I'm no expert in Thai cuisine but for me the food was great and we were full when we left. That being said, when we arrived we were not greeted and had to ask if we should seat ourselves before they finally acknowledged us. we then had to wait over 30 minutes before we even had our food/drink order taken, it wasn't even that busy and we saw at least 2 tables get up and leave due to lack of service. We were actually looking up other Thai places when they finally came to take our order. Also it was freezing, it felt colder inside than outside.
We took a long time Korean friends Joshua and Esther and her husband Daniel. They cannot speak highly enough about the food in this restaurant and the service was as always par exsalonce! I highly recommend the Naka Bistro.
Such a cute resto along Fraser. FOOD - My partner ordered the pad thai and I ordered the green curry with chicken. We also ordered crab rangoon. - The Pad Thai was the best dish out of everything. The noodles were al dente and the flavour was strong, but not overpowering. I would recommend getting this dish when you come here. - The green curry had basil in it, which threw me off because it gave off such a fragrant aroma in my mouth. Not the biggest fan of it, but the veggies and chicken were good with the rice. - The crab rangoon was okay a 5 out of 10 in terms of taste. - Not pictured here, but I also ordered the sticky rice with mango and it was pretty good. Reminded me of a filipino sticky rice dish (kakanin). Ambience - Staff did their best to accomodate everyone. I did feel bad as there were 2 serverves and almost 8-9 tables filled. We still had quick service and they attended to our needs as soon as they could. Overall, a really cute place to have a nice lunch or date.
Love the food here. Closest thing I can get to my moms home cooking with a lot of variety.
Amazing food, server is very friendly and always remembers us and our order when we come in. Nice decor and atmosphere for such a small space.
Loved their food! Great, fresh ingredients are apparent in their cooking. Best pad thai lunch special
Tasty food
Beautiful delicious food
Prices are good. Felt like it was lacking spice on my pad king. Chicken satay was amazing. Place is clean and good service.
Great food. Super authentic. Service is great.
This restaurant specializes in Lao and Thai food that has so many unique dishes. This inside is very modern and bright with the tables staged with ample space. The servers were knowledgeable and friendly. The food was delicious. We ordered papaya salad, a platter with spring rolls, chicken satay, lettuce wraps. It was delicious and they do a great job with their presentation. We also had the crying tiger dish which consisted of beef slices, salad and sticky rice. The beef had alot of flavor but could of been a slight more tender. We also ordered the fried rice, it contained shrimp cooked perfectly. You can order other meets in the fried rice if you choose. The dishes had a lot of flavor. I would inquire about the spiciness of the dishes if you can't do spice. I would like to return to try more of their dishes.
Delicious food, terrific service, and a modern look which is much needed in that area!
Good food and great service ????
Not very good at all. Quite greasy/oily , I asked for mine extra spicy and it barely had any flavour at all let alone spice. We found that the server that handled our order was rather rude, and very cold/unfriendly as well. Definitely do not recommend this place. We only ended up here bc the other 2 Thai places in the area closed and hour earlier for Christmas Eve. Won't be returning here again.
I got the pad thai and spring rolls. Both were great. Although, the pad thai seemed to be a little light on the sauce. Spring rolls were delicious. The interior of the restaurant was pretty nice with glass windows as walls. I'll be returning to try some of their other dishes.
Clean, friendly, but a little pricey.
The flavours are alright. The portion is smaller and doesn't justify the price. The ambience is nice.
best thai food you can find - service is nice, food is always consistently good
I had a difficult time finding parking. Once I did and entered I was asked for Vaccine Passport and related ID. Confirmed on phone App. This a good thing. I ordered lunch special and waited and waited. Server apologized and offered a discount. Order finally arrived after 25 mins. At which time I asked if it was Spivey and was told no, but would get some pepper oil. Again I waited eating the salad portion. Finally had to ask for it again. Food was good, portion size was on smaller side. Veggie spring roll was over cooked. Not a good experience, specially if I had time constraint.
Cashew chicken had no flavor Spring rolls had no flavor dipping sauce for the rolls had no flavor Sausage dish had no flavor. Service was good. Won't be back
Really tasty but sometimes they don't have a lot of items on their menu available.
Food is decent, service is top notch. Love the variety of menu choices!
We had Pad Thai, Green curry, and Lao salad. All tests amazing! I barely have Thai food in Canada but this restaurant is the best in Canada for me.
High quality food and service. The inside is not cozy but a bit out of decor and gloomy.
Hands down best Thai food I have ever experienced. This is a family owned and operated restaurant. Very intimate as there is not many tables. Everything is cooked fresh and made to order. Be patient when it's busy, but just know the food will be well worth the wait. Also the iced coffee is quiet the treat!!
Definitely one of my favourite Thai restaurants! I have never had a bad experience here!
As usual, it was delicious ???? Naka is my go to when I'm in the area. The BEST Lao food hands down. I would highly recommend this restaurant dine in or take out. Either way, you'll be satisfied.
Stumbled on this place by accident and so glad we did! Amazing food and atmosphere. We will be back again and again!
Uber Eats error, so was not able to order, but hopefully fixed soon! Looking forward to trying.
Authentic Laos food. So good!
Best Asian food In langley. The Laotian dishes are highly recommended. I suggest the laap. Staff is friendly and helpful. They are moving soon to hopefully a larger location as it is very small and I'm guessing the kitchen is too. Their home made chili oil is delicious.
We love this place. So tasty.
Delish
Ordered pickup a couple of times, the food is delicious and they’re quick!
Dinner
Fantastic food and great service!
Food is great, but no one ever answers the phone
This is the best Thai food in the area, if not more. We have eaten here with the family many times, the service is so friendly and dishes always perfect!
Everytime im here im blown away. Great service and great food!!
Honestly, this was one of the best thai food I have ever had! We where blown away. Food was quick hot and cooked perfectly! Naka Bistro is buy far my new default restaurant!
Superb food! Lovely people and great service. Small place, so make a reservation first. A perpetual favorite of ours.
Delicious. The servers are friendly
Probably one of the best pappaya salad ever from a restaurant (and I’ve been to many)! I always think home made are better, but this restaurant makes their pappaya salad savoury, salty and without peanuts. You can ask for laos style, and they put in baby crabs in the sauce. You can also adjust your spice level here. I prefer my pappaya salad salty, rather than thai style, which is more sweet and light in their dressing. It usually comes with pork grinds and cabbage or noodles! So good!
Excellent Lao food in Langley. Friendly service.
Excellent Thai and Lao food - good quality ingredients, great service and we felt safe and secure with their nicely setup covid protections, well definitely be back!
The best Thai food In the lowermainland! Our go to favourite dish is the chicken pad Thai. We ask for extra sauce when ordering out and appreciate the Togo containers as they are reusable. The owners are very nice people, always so happy to see you again. Be sure to check out their awesome lunch specials. If your dining in you’ll definitely appreciate this bright and airy restaurant.
Awesome food. Good service. Clean enviroment. Cozy ambience. Will be back
Best staff best food. No reason to go anywhere else.
Time after time we are met with exemplary service. The portions are ample and the quality great! Recommended to all comers. We'll definitely be returning many times to come.
Neat little Laotian restaurant, went to get out of my comfort zone. Had the cashew chicken and the textures were great, wife had red curry and it was super flavorful. Crab Rangoon was sinfully delicious, will definitely be back!
Great Thai food. Made to order taste fresh. I've tried several items on there menu=Delicious.
The foods look good, but the tastes are so-so.
Great food, friendly staff!
Amazing food!! Love the chicken cashew and coconut rice! Excellent service too
Such amazing flavors, this restaurant is one of the best in Langley for sure! Better than any other Thai places in the area. Would definitely recommend!
very good thai restaurant. Pad Thai is really good
Good environment, authentic food, decent prices, very friendly waiters and great service! Loved everything but the grilled beef in Tiger was a bit overdone to my taste, overall good experience!
My go to place in Langley for Thai and Laos food. Love eating here ????
Good and fast service food is great
Authentic and tasty.. I had one one happy family after eating here. If u can take spice, u must be adventurous and try this place. I live in downtown its worth drive, bus or walk. Lol
Best Thai/lao food in Langley! I've tried most of the Thai restaurants in Langley but Naka bistro has the best in terms of both quality, price, taste, and portion size. I've never ate in the restaurant itself yet but have been ordering off of Uber eats and the food has always been consistent and tasty. I recommend the Khao piak sen, drunken noodles with prawns (the prawns used are HUGE), and green curry
Great addition to dining in Langley. Independent, interesting menu, helpful and friendly staff and great food.
Absolute favourite place to get Lao and Thai food. Their papaya salad is next level! I could eat here everyday. Love all the friendly faces in there too. 10/10
I've been coming here when they were still in that tiny place on the one way in downtown Langley City. Absolute best Thai place. I like ordering takeout from Thursday to Saturday (best chefs are there I've found). Top three dishes are the drunken noodles, chicken cashew, and basil fried rice. My significant other loves the Pad Thai. Seriously, everything is so good here and the staff are lovely!
Very tasty Lao cuisine. Great food, clean and cozy interior!
Really great food, great service. 10/10 will be back again.
food was just great !!!!! i will be back again !!! hehe
Meal type
Good authentic Thai food at good prices.
Very authentic Thai/Lao cusine, I'd definitely come back! We got the Lao platter, which comes with a papaya salad. We picked the Lao style, be mindful if you don't like fermented fish sauce cuz the lao style papaya salad is very pungent and fermented compare to the Thai style. I like that they let you choose the level of spiciness :) I can't wait to come back and try more dishes.
Awesome super reasonable
Food here is always delicious! My favorite restaurant in the lower mainland!
Great food & service!
The food here is delicious. I love the Loas papaya salad! The waitresses are friendly as well. The restaurant doesn’t accept reservations, so if you go during lunch or dinner time, be prepared to wait.
Food was amazing! The green curry was the perfect spice level for me. Great lunch size items! Will definitely be back. Also service was outstanding and they keep things very clean and follow all covid protocols
The friendliest of staff, the most original menu. A fusion of South-East Asian ingredients and dishes. The Mekong Mule HAS to be tasted...Also, their food is as good as you'll get through Skip the Dishes etc.
I love this place, the food is awesome.... When you get it all. No less than 3 times now, twice pickup and once via Uber eats, we have not received our full order. And while the staff always apologizes and credits me, it's extremely frustrating as I don't live anywhere near the store and only order on my way home from work. Whoever bags the food needs to take an extra second to make sure everything paid for is in the bag.
Very delicious. Nice interior and very kind service.
I've dine at this restaurant multiple, the food is good and taste authentic. The terrible experience is the servers that work there. When asking for details on dishes, not much knowledge behind the dishes they are serving or asking for bills to be spilt for 3 or more. Servers roll their eyes or has them shut as your speaking to them. Not treated with respect or kindness at all. Would recommend management to re-train staff or replace them.
Really good food, efficient staff, casual atmosphere
Waited an hour to get food today. It never came. Very slow service.
Where do I start! Food is bright and simply delicious, flavour is homely yet complex. It has the staples but it’s the unique dishes that drew us in. Everything we ordered is totally on my replay list! ???? both blue and green Thai milk tea look and taste gorgeous ???? paradise - ceviche is light and refreshing ???? tamarin fish soup is delightfully mellow and grows on you ????grass salad - wowzer, didn’t think you can pack all that stuff in there and make it work, and who knew lemongrass can be so tender ???? ????starter platter had good variety, the fried ???? +???? ???? was yum. I’d try the Laos platter next time! ???? laap - I’ve not anything like this before, must give it a try! ???? drunken noodle’s got the ???? wok flavour ???? sticky rice was the bomb! Service was excellent! Don’t hesitate, just go eeeeeat!
This is my favourite Thai place in Langley. Best price and amazing tasty Thai food. Thank you to my friends at Naka Bistro. Highly recommend!
The blandest Thai food I may have evereeaten. We had the Red Curry with Beef, Chicken Cashew and a a pad tgai. Each dish was watery or jusy flavorless. Pretty disappointing meal.
We went in yesterday to order for takeout. They were very pleasant, took our order, and brought us water as we waited. When we got our food, though, we realized we were charged for and given an extra pad Thai. As we were hungry and didn’t want to wait any longer, we told them it was okay. To compensate, they gave us a can of iced tea. When we got home and started eating, though, inside one of our salad rolls there were multiple long, black hairs. Not just one, but multiple throughout the entire roll. As we live in Vancouver, we couldn’t just drive back to Langley as it was late at night. While the food is usually amazing, we didn’t eat any of the food we got from that order as we were worried there were more hairs. As this was a $60+ order, we are extremely disappointed we couldn’t eat any of the food. We will not be returning to this restaurant nor would we recommend anyone to go either. Next time, please ensure your staff are wearing hair nets.
I love this place Grest food Great service Wish was closer to where i live
The food here is unbelievably good. Hands down one of the best Laos /Thai food in the province and maybe the country. The food is very authentic and fresh with a great presentation. The people are friendly and the restaurant is very clean. Naka is truly a hidden gem tucked away in Langley.
Great food and service. Vegetarian options are good too
Such good food. Love the sampler. And beer Lao!
Was very disappointed. I drove almost an hour to the place, ordered 2 tom young soups (with another friend), and they were both extremely salty (at least 3x the reasonable salt volume). When I said to the waitress, she always had reasons, such as, different people have different tastes, it's our standard etc. BTW I cook tom young soup at home by myself - a few times a year - using all raw materials including the herbs.
One of our favourite restaurants in Langley, friendly/helpful staff with good food (vegetarian options!) Their green iced tea is the bomb.
WOW!! Phenomenal!
HORRIBLE SERVICE !!!! The food was under average but very expensive and service was horrible . The terrible experience is the servers that work there. When asking for details on dishes. They doesn’t care about it. Something wrong , they didn’t say “ sorry” I never heard “Hi “, Thank you “ , “Sorry” Never !!!! I really wouldn’t recommend coming here. Never want to go there again.
Great food. Fast and the service staff are helpful.
I came here to eat on June 18th with a friend and asked the waitress after we had received our food if I could also order 2 Thai milk iced teas with our food and her response was that they were not serving those beverages to anyone (due to COVID and not being able to serve ice to clients) while we were seated to eat. if they were not able to serve specialty drinks why have an entire drink menu on the table available for customers to review. Two of my friends then ate here one June 19th and had both gotten Thai iced milk teas with their food while seated. I was also told by another friend who went earlier in the week and was also able to order the iced milk teas I truly like to support family owned business’ however I just don’t appreciate being told they were not able to serve any of those special beverages however the very next day served to people I personally know. This isn’t a good business practice. There needs to be consistency between servers and their responses
Love it! Great food, awesome service... temperature a little cold for a restaurant.. prices are reasonable and food portions are good. Been there 4 times already in the last 2 months!
Great value
Eat here if you like good food
Great food, the girls that work there are always so sweet and friendly. Def one of my fav lao/Thai place to go to.
Can only comment on their food because we did take out, but food was delicious.
Waitress was extremely friendly and welcoming! The decor of this restaurant is also very modern and clean. I had the coconut milk noodles and although the cream was very heavy and difficult to finish, it was very tasty.
Even though it was a busy Saturday night the 6 of were seated right away. A constant flood of friendly ladies asking how things were, clearing the table, refilling water, and being attentive made the dining experience a breeze. All dishes were fresh flavourful and delicious. Highly recommend the sweet and sour fish!
Very good Loas food. According to my friend from Loas, he says this is closes Loas food he has tasted in Lower Mainland since his home in Loas over 35 years ago
Excellent food & atmosphere. All of the food was full of flavour and beautifully presented - the green curry & nem khao are a must try! The restaurant is immaculately kept and the staff is very attentive. I would highly recommend Naka Bistro to friends & family.
An amazing restaurant in Langley. Always drove past this place and decided to finally give it a try. The restaurant is real nice inside. I got take out and the service was quick and the staff are super nice. The food itself is incredible. It is one of the best dishes I've ever had. The Naka Fried Rice, portions were large and incredibly tasty. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
The food is always amazing!
This place looks closed either Renovation or permanently closed
Great Red Currie. Service was excellent. Great to have a Thai restaurant in Langley.
A secret gem in the heart of Langley! Some friends and I went to Naka when the surrounding greek restaurants and pizza place were all full to the brim. We were surprised to find a very clean, nicely decorated, and bright Thai restaurant tucked in what looks like an old Pizza Hut location. Other than the shape of the building there's nothing fast food about this place - the service was attentive even though it was peak dinner hour and at least 3/4 full. The menu was really appealing, and though I stayed safe with the Pad Thai, my dinner companions branched out and tried the Laap and other Lao dishes. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, and the portions were really generous. Definitely would recommend. Maybe a little pricier than other forms of Thai takeout, but worth it for a date or celebration dinner. Certainly one of the nicest restaurant environments in Langley.
Definitely one of the best restaurants in Langley.
How have I not already reviewed this? Really fantastic place. In general, I think Lao places do SE Asian food better than Thai places, and Naka guess a long way toward confirming that hunch. Lunch specials are perfect size and variety, especially the Mok Gai. Dinners aren't terribly expensive, and they tolerate our 2-year-old wonderfully. Small dining space, but nice and open with a big window. The staff and owners obviously love what they serve.
I like it. Green curry with rice is great.
Been eating Naka for years! Love it! Always great service, lovely girls. My favorite is papaya salad Thai style, pad Thai, drunken noodles, nem khao, laap with beef, crying tiger beef, crab Rangoon and to top it off the green tea Thai iced tea. I love the Tom yum goong soup sometimes, only because on more than 1 occasion, it was too salty. They don't have tom Kha gai which is my favorite coconut based soup nor yum Nua beef salad. Really wish and hope they add that to the menu!!!!!!! All in all, super awesome place to eat esp in Langley where there is nothing great :) Don't forget to buy a jar of chili oil!!!! Best ever
Fantastic great food good service & excellent company with my girl!! Fresh made sausage and jerky. I'll be back!!
My husband and I love thai food, we have our usual place we go to but I had read good things about Naka Bistro so we thought we would give it a try! We ordered pad Thai and the peanut vege stir fry with a side of rice. I got home and realized they had forgotten our rice that I had paid for, which wasn't the hugest deal but still frustrating. I was SO excited for the pad Thai and had been craving it for days. But after trying it, I was extremely disappointed with this dish.. it was so dry and flavourless.. I ended up making my own quick Thai sauce to go on it or we wouldn't of been able to eat it. The peanut stir fry was mainly mushrooms.. the rest of the vegetables barely seemed cooked and the peanut sauce was awful! So sweet and off tasting. They offered me a discount next time when I had called about the missing rice, but unfortunately we will not be going back. If you're looking for the best Thai food in Langley, go to Ban Chok Dee. They NEVER disappoint!
Very disappointed that the food was not as good as how ppl were raving so much about! It was our first time ordering from them, so I asked the waitress if she can recommend some popular items. She didn’t seem to care very much with suggestions so… not sure if the food sucks, or customer service sucks or both 1-If u want very very very salty papaya salad ( Thai style) then it will be your kinda dish 2-If you want mediocre pad Thai but paying for premium price, they deliver just that. I think Surrey Guiltfort food court serve better pad Thai 3-Tom yum soup was overwhelming with coconut cream 4- Or Gai was the saddest order for us…. That stew has no taste, just oil , and blank. I think the whole experience really confused us with why they got almost 5 stars, especially the customer service.
Best and only Laotian restaurant in the lower mainland.
Good food, excellent service and a really cozy atmosphere. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a decent Thai restaurant in Langley!
Good food. WORST SERVICE!
Delicious! Wonderful mixture of lao and thai cuisine. Friendly staff. Reasonable price. Recommend for the adventurous you.
I have been looking for a great Thai Restaurant for several years, and have tried several. Tonight I tried Naka Bistro Lao on Fraser Hwy. The food was fantastic, full of flavour. Two of us shared 3 separate dishes. And the service was fantastic. Thank You Naka....Will be back to try some more dishes.
Favorite place! So delish
It's okay, the service was great but I found the food to be rather bland
First time here: Good food - good service - good atmosphere - good value
The Worst! Ordered 3 dishes, all vegetarian the receipt was correct but every dish (3 of them) all contained meat. Vegetarian salad roll had shrimp, tofu drunken noodles had chicken and tofu currey was also chicken. Went back with the food and they tried to refund me minus the 15% tip. I had to fight to get the tip back!
OMG so good! Fresh, quality ingredients with layers of flavour in every bite!
we went to this restaurant last week from Vancouver. it was superb tasty very delicious Lao&Thai food. real spicy and tasty no doubt with it. but only one thing we are a bit disappointed is we wait for like a 40 min for the first dish and 10 min for the second. we are quite understand but its only thing that we disappointed. anyways we will come back for sure Thank you for very good food. you make me think about my home.
Everything you love about Southeast Asian food, with a unique twist, delivered with style and flair! We know a lot about Thai food, so we wanted to try something a bit different with the Lao offerings. The Nem Khao (lettuce wrap) was outstanding, with a blend of bold flavours - lime and coconut in a savoury dish - you must try it. The Tom Khem (braised pork belly) was also delicious, especially when paired with a side of sticky rice to wrap the pieces of pork belly and soak up some of the liquid. Although Thai food is a common sight, Lao food is not. Naka takes this concept and executes well, with delicious unique dishes, beautiful presentation, upscale decor, and fast, friendly service. Come early, as this place is popular and gets busy around the dinner rush. We were very impressed at the level of dining this place offers, and we will certainly be back.
Made an order for take out. Had the green curry and salad rolls which were very tasty. Upon coming in to pick up my order, it took some time for it to be ready, but I wasn't bothered too much because the staff was really nice and attentive towards me; plus it was nice to sit and see the beautiful Laotian decor around the restaurant. It's a tiny area, but really packs a punch with it's food and service.
What a gem in central Langley! Every dish we ordered was delicious and decently priced. Try the lettuce wrap crispy fried rice!
The best thai food
I usually don't like Thai food so I tried the pad khing for lunch, which is mushroom and chicken with rice and it was delicious.
Pretty nice restaurants, tasty food, will definitely go back again for more.
Couple of friends took me here for a birthday meal. Just picked it out of the blue. It was excellent but we only tried the Thai dishes this time. Serving staff couldn't do enough for us; they were attentive but not intrusive and must have said 'happy birthday' to me a dozen times. Decor is modern and very clean. Will definitely be back to try some Lao dishes. Entree's are around $16.00.
Beautiful ambiance n good food, would definitely recommend to everyone.
Best Thai in Langley. I got the chicken red curry. It was a great balance of flavor and heat. Lots and lots of chicken, and it's so nice that rice is included. The staff were so friendly, and attentive. I look forward to returning. Keep up the good work. ????
Excellent food and service. Very friendly and reasonably priced
The young waitress is very careless, she is with a wired attitude like teens. We waited for our dishes for more than 40 minutes. But the curry is good though.
Atmosphere and decor: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Yellow and green curry: 5/5 - just delicious, no complaints Cream soda: 4/5 - I love cream soda, but the flavouring was slightly off. Pad Thai: 4.5/5 - I got the shrimp pad Thai and it only had 4 shrimps which was the only down side. However, the flavouring of the pad Thai noodles were tasty! It almost taste as good as pad thais in Thailand.
Good food. A little pricey but not too bad. Thai chicken basil rice is a must try!
Went to this restaurant for dinner. Nice Ambience and not much wait ups. COVID proto calls followed. Good choices of food and drinks menu. Food was great. The service was great and fast. Price is reasonable and not very expensive. Portion size is also good. Starter platter is a must try if you want to enjoy all the starter choices. Looks like the fast food drive in place is converted into restaurant. Parking was ample and little conjugated.
Excellent Thai and Lao food. My friend and I shared the Lao Platter and Kao Piak Sen noodles. The Papaya Salad was so flavourful, spicy and authentic. Lots of fish sauce! The Sai Gok (Lao spicy pork sausage) was so good. I wish I brought some to take home. The Kao Piak Sen noodles were perfect on a cold, rainy day. Super comforting and I like how the soup is a bit thick/starchy. The Thai iced tea is also tasty! It tasted very fresh and not artificial. Definitely worth the drive from Vancouver!
Not a bad place if you wanna try Lao or Thao food. Clean and bright restaurant.
One of the best tasting Thai food in Langley. Ordered the sweet & sour fish, pad Thai, and kaprapow. It's delicious!
The staff was great and friendly. I not sure I liked the food. The papaya salad had noodles at the bottom. Lettuce wrap I usually have at other places was meat and veg but this one was mixture was fried ricey. Maybe this is a different style. Food Dept was ok. However the shot of whiskey (Monkey shoulder not premium) I got was 16 bucks...which hurt.
If I can describe this restaurant in one word I would say it is the "bomb-diggity"!!
Amazing amazing! Good quality, service, everything was awesome. Will definitely be back here!
HELP MY WIFE'S A Chef. Thank you for all your wonderful suggestions on places to take my wife. Naka is owned by a Lao and Thai person and they make almost every from scratch. The pad thai noodles are made daily and is very Authentic. We wanted a variety of food for lunch . (Like a combo # 5 ) but they only had single items on the lunch menu. So the starter plater was suggested. And a pad thai to go with it. It was very good and it gave us a good sampling of their food. Rich Authentic lao and Thai food. Good food for your money.
The green curry is delicious!
Service was tremendous from the second you walk in the door. Food is extremely delicious! Must go and try
Nice airy atmosphere. Fresh fresh food. This is the best quality Thai food I have had in BC. Prices are fair. Don't miss it!!
Came here during lunch time, the place was a bit empty so I was skeptical but the food was exceptional! Tried their drunken noodles and pad Thai, will definitely come again. Oh and the staff is very friendly as-well. Perfect experience
This lovely restaurant serves Laotian food, in addition to Thai food we all are familiar with. I really enjoyed the two side by side as the flavor profiles are similar but different enough. Everything was tasty and beautifully presented. My favorite dish was Crying Tiger: I forgot to dip the first piece of steak in the chili sauce and wondered why it was called "crying"... Then I dipped the next piece and...fire! I love spicy food and this was hot AND flavorful. We ordered Pad Lao but received Pad Thai. When we pointed out the mistake, the server apologized and brought us the correct dish within 5 minutes. That was fast! Thank you for being so gracious in fixing that error! The restaurant is clean and modern and slick yet still comfortable. Noise level is just perfect for being able to talk with your table mates. Service was smooth the day we ate here. Our friends who live here said the staff and kitchen are just ironing out the last kinks; service can be slow at times but they've made lots of improvements lately.
Friendly staff. Great value. And some of the best quality outside Thailand.
A really nice Thai/Laotian restaurant in Langley City. Have been twice for lunch and enjoyed it both times. The staff are very friendly, the restaurant is very clean and comfortable and the food tastes great and is reasonably priced. Highly recommend the Pad Khing and Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp.
We always refer our guests here; we’re the owners of Princess and the Pea Hotel so we always have guests who are looking for a local dining experience. Our family has also dined here regularly and have always had a great experience. Whether it’s been dine in for a special occasion, takeout, or purchasing gift cards it’s always consistent and excellent quality! We followed them from their previous smaller location on the one-way of Fraser Hwy.
Great place for lunch and dinner
Pay no attention to the one star review if you’re looking for somewhere to eat tonight. This is the best Thai food my husband and I have ever eaten! Our favourite dishes are the red curry and the drunken noodles. And even though ordering Pad Thai seems cliche, it is soooo good at Naka! We have never been disappointed with their food or service.
Simply an amazing experience for authentic Thai/Laos food!!! The Nem Khao is my favorite!
Yummiest Thai + Lao food ever!!! The dishes I've tried so far are all plate--licking-good. Can't go wrong here.
Definitely try the Naam Vaan for dessert...so so yummy!!
Flavours, presentation, texture all on point! Great service and clean establishment. We shared the pad Thai with prawns, lettuce wrap and chicken satay ???? this is by far our new fav Thai/Lao restaurant
The most delicious and authentic Thai and Laotian food. Everything here tastes amazing
I had never had laos food - the food we had was surprising and tasty! I loved the display of the rice. I beleive it was in a woven box with a flower. The desert was light, refreshing and colourful. I would recommend this place, quite unique for the area.
Ordered take out. Was promptly greeted by staff when picking up food. Ordered the pad Thai, cashew chicken and the lettuce wrap -- all very good. Will definitely be ordering from them again.
Really good! Surpasses Kam Wah and Chop Chop restaurants in food quality and has less scary restaurant inspection hazard ratings— so far—than other restaurants. It looks nice inside also, and dim in the evening. I ordered for two people, one of each of these dishes: Salad Rolls Papaya salad - I think the sauce came on the side, but I only noticed that sauce after eating Pad Lao chicken - is a noodle dish Pad Khing - menu said it comes with steamed rice, but it didn’t, so I docked 1 star from the rating Coconut rice Mango Sticky Rice - I hadn’t known the rice would be blue, which is restricted from my moderately salicylate-restricted diet. Comes with a flower. We still have enough leftover for a meal for one person. Next time, I might also try: Crab Rangoon Chicken WIngs
Great food!
Delicious & fantastic service!
Some of the best, flavourful Thai food around. Everything perfectly presented. Servers are very polite and attentive. Great roomy decor so noise level is low Great for visiting over a wonderful meal.
The BEST Lao and Thai restaurant in BC! I had their platter and it brought tears to my eyes with the memory of home and how much it tasted soooGoood! ???? Top...Loves It
Went today with the fam + mother inlaw who is Lao. Food was legit and very tasty. Had food out on the patio. Our server was fantastic as well.
Didn’t like food, couldn’t finish. Also overpriced. 3 stars only because it’s clean and nice inside.
Good as usual
Friendly family run business with great food great iced coffee and great decor
Amazing food
We got there at 8pm for a late dinner hoping to be in and out reasonably quick. It smelled really good, but after waiting 30 minutes from the time we ordered we couldn't wait any longer and had to leave. While we waited we watched 2 other tables receive their food all at random times and in both cases half of the table had their food and were waiting for the rest of the people at the table to get their food (around 10min on average). Would have loved to have tried it, but I won't be back until I hear that they have dealt with their slow service issues.
Good food and authentic taste.
Amazing Thai Food. very Authentic absolutely loved my Laap Moo tasted just like Thailand which I was so happy about and not used too. Very clean washroom as well and nice staff overall great experience they have Chang’s and Singha’s too!
Due to unusual circumstances we ended up eating here during Covid 2020. We arrived there prior to noon opening and people were already waiting in or by their vehicles. Waited for others to be seated then wandered in. Busy, yet socially distanced. Ordered (as close to fully plant based) as possible and was pleased with their dishes. Ate the recommended Pad Ped; forgot name of the other dish but it had great peanut sauce. For dessert had Mango sticky rice (delicious). Have already recommended it to a few friends in Langley.
Had dinner for four, the food was ok and total bill came to $136. Handed to the waitress two $100 dollar bills, and after waited for several minutes, another waitress came to ask if I needed my change, seriously?
Very tasty. Good service and reasonable prices.
hard to find anything that resembles my grandmas food . 100% authentic laos food.. Amazing!
Soooooooo, delicious! New favourite restaurant in Langley
Easily the worst restaurant meal I've had in many years. Deep fryer oil for my dumplings was obviously old -- the dumplings we too dark. My PAD LAO was some kind of nonsense. Barely half a cup of tofu, green onion and sprouts all tolled. The rest was noodles that were basted in sugar sauce. Too sweet to eat. I should have sent back. So then I walked home and realized I had a stomach ache from this mix of sugar and noodles. Don't be misled by the pictures of fresh crisp veg on their menu and site. Garbage. Go buy a bag of chips and a coke if you want sickly sweet non food. ARGH!
This has happened to us multiple times they never answer the phone between me and my wife we called them at least 20 times today to order food . The food is good but the service sucks . And now when they answered after 25 mins they said , our phone has not been ringing .
Great affordable food
A hidden gem in Langley. This Lao/Thai restaurant on Fraser Highway was a great find. The papaya salad Lao style was a taste bud bomb! Full of flavour and great textures. The lemongrass rack of lamb was perfectly done. Served with a salad and a bowl of rice, it was one of the most enjoyable meals I've had in some time. The staff were very friendly and helpful when deciding what to try. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items!
Awesome Pad Thai. Great service. Definitely going back!
Great atmosphere, food it very tasty. Would recommend
I love it. Perfect.
I was really excited to find this restaurant on google. So we drove all the way from south Surrey and arrived before 7:00pm; they were packed, but one table just left. After we waited for a few minutes by the door, a waiter came and asked if we want to dine in, we said yes; he first said unfortunately every table is full now, then he realized the table just left, so he said oh maybe I should go clean that table, then he came back to us shortly said that it’s almost our last call, so it’s impossible to take any new customers. We walked out at 7:00pm, and they are closing at 8:00pm. I guess this is Langley for you, so go early if you want to be served. We most likely won’t go back there.
Delicious. Naka is one of my favourite asian restaurants (they serve Lao and Thai) in all of Metro Vancouver. Notable favourites are the soups, the larb, and the Pad Thai. This is a small, family run business and the service is always excellent.
Delicious food! Can't wait to order from here again and also very friendly service.
Good Thai food, friendly service. Been here twice so far, once for lunch and then for dinner. So far all the dishes have been good.
Very delicious and fragrant Asian cuisine served by hot Asian girls????
Great food , unique dishes & fabulous service. Strong recommend if you like Thai & Laotion cuisine
Good food
Great authentic south east asian food. Clean, nice set up and good food with attentive waiter/waitress.
It was good, not super unforgettable though, the pad Thai was too saucy for my liking. The Thai tea was too sweet for my liking as well
