This was my first time dining here and I was extremely impressed. Every single flavour and texture was exquisite: the caramelized onion butter for the bread, the au point gnocchi, the duck breast with rhubarb, and the perfect lemon and raspberry dessert. One small quibble was that I asked for the duck rare and it came medium rare. However, it was utterly delicious anyway, so I bow to the chef's decision on that.

A wonderful experience! Recently we hosted a national meeting for our company and were looking for a local venue that could offer us a private dining experience where we could host a small awards ceremony as well as enjoy a beautiful meal together that was above and beyond previous restaurant experiences. Chef Aaron Turkstra of Annora did exactly that! He created a customized menu for our team that included a three course meal, appetizers and sparkling wine as we entered the restaurant. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves (two long tables) and the ambiance was polished yet relaxed (perfect for this specific gathering). The food was amazing, the venue was perfect and we were well taken care of. Thank you to Chef Aaron Turkstra and his amazing team for making us feel so welcome and for providing us with a five star experience!

We have eaten at some good high end restaurants in the lowe mainland but Annora by far is our favorite. It is in the heart of Langley making it nice and close and my husband and I have collectively tried the pork belly gnocchi, the seared duck breast, beef short ribs, steak dianne and the goat cheese gnudi. They were all fantastic and I would highly recommend Annora to anyone looking for a fantastic meal. You will not be disappointed.

This is not a bad review, the taste was great, service was great. It was a 5 out of 5. I ordered the steak , This would be my only complaint ,it could not have been smaller, possibly 2 oz's.The beat was a single shaved piece 1/4 by 1/8 by 1 1/2. The carrot 3/4 by 1/8 by 3 inches. the potatoes 1/2 by 3/4 by 3 inches.would be great for kids or woman. Went to Venetis just around the corner

Our appetizer arrived, very understated, and every single bite I said yum as I ate. Great restaurant with delicious food. I've never had gnudi before and throughly enjoyed it as an appetizer. The stuff chicken breast was cooked perfectly and the flavours of the dish were well balanced. The braised beef was also amazing and tender. Our dessert was lively and the perfect size as well. All in all good restaurant with friendly staff. Would recommend checking out especially if your looking for something a little more fancy in Langley.

Read the reviews, booked a table and a friend and I tried this restaurant for the first time last weekend. STAY AWAY ! Your dinner date may concentrate her time to the blueberry cheesecake more than you! As did mine! What were those sounds she was making?! :?) Also... be cautious of your future waistlines, food here may draw you back on a regular basis ......and don't book seating that will now conflict with mine! Let's keep this restaurant a secret! The restaurant is quaint and cozy, service excellent! I am assuming most of the conversation people were having along with ourselves was how good each dish was. "Licking the plate good!" My friends and I had such a lovely dinner at Annora. I don't venture out to Langley often but glad to have tried this French restaurant. They had a 3 course prix fixe meal that was a great deal ($34). There were 3 choices for the appetizer, entree, and dessert. I decided to try their scallops for the appetizer, their duck entree, and the chocolate ganache dessert. They provide bread for the table before the starters, which was great because we ordered mussels for the table and the bread was great for dipping in the sauce. Everything was fresh and delicious and well portioned. I thought the duck was cooked perfectly and enjoyed the potato gratin that came with it. The scallops were nice and large, with chanterelle mushrooms in a creamy delicious sauce.

Food was okay. Nothing to write home about. It wasn’t bad. Crab cakes were good. But found the lamb to be quite bland. Service made up for it. Dessert was good with butternut squash cake. May give them another try incase it was an off day. With so many great restaurants to choose from makes it hard to go back when they have to bring their A-game. Trying to support local family restaurants.

After stumbling across Annora this past summer I have now had the absolute pleasure of dining there twice with my wife and our extremely close friend, and without a doubt Chef Aaron has served us some incredibly delicious dishes in his peaceful and intimate setting. Both times Chef Aaron and his staff made us feel warm and welcome, and because of that (and the food of course) I take any opportunity to recommend Annora to anyone I meet or I know who enjoys wonderful food as much as I do. My only regret is that I don’t get to go more often. Thank you Aaron keep your passion for food coming, I look forward to my next visit.

Rented the restaurant for a friend's birthday and was so absolutely blown away. Had heard of this "hole in the wall" and was looking forward to trying it. Beautiful intimate setting, 5-star service from the lovely Courtney, and 6-star food from the Chef. I never wanted the food to end. The plates were gorgeous and the tastes matched. Will be back!!! Thank you for the wonderful evening ???? We won't forget it.

The food was excellent: I have had no better apple crumble - and that is my "go-to" desert. I am pleased to see that so many others have been enjoying Annora since our visit.

FINALLY!!! Finally Langley has a great restaurant. Langley is filled with crappy chain restaurants and a handful of one offs claiming to be fine dining though the food quality is low to mediocre at best and the prices far exceed the quality or should I say lack thereof. From start to finish Anorra is a wonderfully whimsical food experience for those who not only recognize but appreciate high quality food and service using locally sourced seasonal ingredients in a unique way all the while providing exxceptional service. Not only were all the dishes beautifully plated but the flavours were out of this world. Lets talk about pricing...$32 for a 3 course meal!!! That's insane. AND happy hour plates are $5 and happy hour wine and beer by the glass only $4 and $5. I still can't believe one of the best meals I've ever had cost $32 for appt entree and dessert! While I don't want others to know so I can keep it to myself I just can't imagine not sharing what an amazing meal this was for others to enjoy for what hopefully is many years to come.

Came here on Valentines day and had the 3 course meal for $49 - which was a great price especially for the selections! Everything was delicious; I had the gnocchi, beef tenderloin and chocolate lava cake for dessert. The only reason I chose to give it 4/5 stars was because I was under the impression that my reservation was secured a month in advance, only to find out that it wasn't upon arrival. Luckily they were still able to seat us at the time we came in - it got busier later on, and I can't say they would have been able to offer us the same courtesy if we were any later.

When I thought of bringing my wife out for our anniversary to a "five star restaurant", I didn't imagine it would be located in tiny hole in wall in the low rent district of Langley. I spent half the evening dodging the waitresses elbow as she delivered meals from the kitchen to other tables. Annora's only redemption comes from the meal itself which was recognizably challenging and well executed, and with fair service.

Went here for a private event with work and let me tell you, it was amazing!!! We had a 3 course meal and every part of it was perfect. I have the gnocchi as my appetizer, the stuffed chicken as my main and the lava cake as my dessert and I have no complaints. I didn’t feel disgustingly full after, it was the perfect amount of food. Will definitely be taking my friends and family here.

Accidentally stumbled into this gem of a restaurant today. We heard lots about it from our friends and have been meaning to try it out for ages. We were blown away by everything that we tried. 5-star food, no doubt about it. Very reasonable prices for such quality. It was happy hour, they offer Chaberton as their house for $4 a glass. We tried the pork belly, gnocchi, chicken and dumplings, crab cake, and mixed seafood curry. The seafood was cooked to perfection. SO happy to have discovered this place and compliments to the chef, wish we could’ve thanked him in person. This will be our next date night location for sure, with no baby this time...

My wife and I had an enjoyable experience to dine here. The food was excellent! We chose the 3-course meal, and we were satisfied with the quality and the amount of food we had. The menu is not too overwhelming, small but has a variety of meals to choose from. Our server was hospitable and yet professional. The place is not pretentious, little but yet enough space to cater to a larger group or just for couples who would love to have some date night. We are thinking of coming back and try all the delicious appies that were on the menu!

Annora's has become my new favorite restaurant. Chef Aaron is an accomplished chef who creates unique & delicious food, showcasing BC cuisine. It's a quaint place with 7 tables, separated by plexiglass dividers, seating a max of 24 patrons. Reservations are a must. Sampled the 3-course Prix Fixe menu for $34. - it offers a choice of 3 appetizers, entrees & desserts. The choice was hard to make as everything sounded delicious. Ordered the scallop a la pancha for the appetizer, the dinner special entree featuring lobster & prawns served with the most amazing risotto, followed by the chocolate pot de creme. So impressed with the food & service (Katie was fabulous) we made a reservation for March. Thank you for making our evening special.

We came here for our 20th anniversary recently. This was our first visit. We liked the quiet, comfortable atmosphere. You'd feel at ease in casual clothing or dressy attire as we were. We were served toasted french bread slices with caramelized butter (gratis) before I had the 3 course meal and my husband had the mussels (appy) and Steak Diane. I really enjoyed my ahi tuna appy, lamb shank, and white chocolate cheese. The food was delicious and tasted like it was made with care! For good quality food, the price was very reasonable and we were perfectly satiated. Our server was helpful with her suggestions and her service was excellent. Because of social distancing, there is only room for 12-14 people and at 5:30, the restaurant was full. Reservations are recommended. Thank your for our lovely meal and we hope your restaurant will continue to thrive.

I visited with my family on my birthday a few weeks back and it was utterly delicious! Priced appropriately but with small portions. We are such food snobs but I'm telling you, it was incredible! Quaint but delectable with good service. Prime rib perogies, the duck and the crab cakes are a few personal favourites! I will definitely return.

Will never eat here again, They screwed up our reservation with a "i didnt check the email" excuse on our anniversary dinner to make matter worse. the whole process was handled poorly and we were made to feel like were a burden. Extremely poor management will never set foot in here ever again...the chef has no back bone and cannot attempt to solve problems. I strongly advise going to the Lodge Steakhouse instead.

Just well done fine dining dishes that were very memorable. The gnocchi and seared ahi appies were unreal. Same with the scallops but they were a special. Beef bordelaise and the lamb shank were beautiful. Also...great Old Fashioned!!! Service was very pleasant and made us feel super welcome. Great COVID protocols as well. UPDATE: Little late on this due to Christmas but went back for a second time to see if this was a fluke. It wasn't. This place is still AWESOME! Quality and service were the same.

Wow. We had never heard of this place before. WellSeasoned, who we love, made the recommendation. Very tough to get a table here but when you go there you’ll understand. Small dining room creates an intimate atmosphere yet not pretentious. The food menu was well designed and the specials were superb. Wine by the glass could use some more options. The food was absolutely beautiful. Service was attentive and genuine. The food came out a little fast but that’s a small Matter. We had a lovely time and highly recommend it. Parking not great but plenty within a short walk.

This space has been several restaurants over the years so we know how small it is. The decor is dark. The music was a nice level. The menu is elaborate but restrained at the same time. There are many things I would order from it, but settled on the 3 course dinner. The food was delicious, all four of us enjoyed our food which is rare (unfortunately). The wine list is average, but being able to bring your own bottle especially nice. Only criticism is the sloppy back of the restaurant. If you are seated looking at the kitchen, your experience is not so great aesthetically speaking. There were produce boxes and large metal plans just flung and stacked on shelving. A large commercial fridge is constantly being accessed. It’s almost like you’re in the kitchen. I get that it’s a small restaurant but it didn’t look like this with previous tenants. The washrooms could use some love.

Heard recommendations on this local small restaurant as being "5-star" so last night we checked it out. Definitely want to book as it obviously has a popular following. The 4 of us (all different meals) were extremely pleased with the presentation, and amazing flavours. Pricing we thought was reasonable and the server was very knowledgeable. All kudos to the chef running his restaurant. Onwards and upwards. We will definitely return!!
