This was one of the worst restaurants i have ever been to. We drove from Calgary to Lake Louise and decided on this place (as really, it seemed to be the only actual restaurant around) and were seated quickly which was nice but the food/service afterwards was actually embarrassing. We got a milkshake to share and when we got it it was literally just milk in a large cup. No flavor, no thickness, nothing. I couldn't even find our server to tell her this, as no one came back to our table til we got our food which again, was horrible. I then told her we did not want this drink which honestly i dont even know what it was at this point.. just milk? Then our burgers were so dry you could even eat it. Keep in mind this is almost a $20 burger (which i have no problem paying IF its good). Anyways again, no server came to ask how our food was, if we needed anything, nothing. Finally some lady came over and took our plates (without saying ONE word) and i asked to see the Manager. The manager was lovely and took the milkshake off the bill and discounted our food (which we didn't eat) which i appreciated but seriously as a tourist attraction, The 'only' restaurant needs to get it together. Not to mention they charge extra for everything (even mustard, like who does that!?!?) Just brutal. If you are thinking about going here, save yourself and go to Mcdonalds, its much better!

So to my findings it is difficult to find a place suitable for a family to have a dinner where we were staying and I am so happy we stumbled across this restaurant. The food was amazing I would of taken a picture of it but I was so hungry and it tasted so good it was gone before I even thought about it. The server was very friendly, prices are what to be expected for out here before we saw the food, afterwards we realized we had a lot of food and the monetary price vs quantity and quality was perfect in my eyes. I highly recommend stopping in to eat here as well as getting the mountain burger

I had initially wanted the mountain burger but decided to get the cheese burger instead. The $2 difference between the two burgers was the bacon and some special sauce on the mountain burger. When I picked up my burger the bottom bun broke apart as it was soggy from either the lettuce or from the patty. Chef should dry the lettuce thoroughly and also let the cooked patty rest before assembly. Both my wife and mother-in-law ordered the 8oz steak as medium rare but got it well done. The redeeming part of the steak was that it was tasty and it was a quality cut. Service was good.

Price was reasonable for the locale. Serivce was fast, and portions were large. We ordered linguini and bulgogi. 'Bulgogi' was essentially marinated steaks with vegetable and rice. Linguini was cooked just right with hearty sauce and sides. Will probably drop by again.

The food was very overpriced. I ordered a burger, and it tasted bad. No attempt by the waiting staff to replace my meal even though I returned it. They came with my bill, reduced by -$4 for a $16 meal. Not going back - there are other places to go around there. The star I was forced to give I'll at least give to the woman who served my table with a smile - it's not her fault the business has poor policies.

Boy, our review could start right from the hostest who sat us at a dirty table, started naming off the specials while everyone was still standing in a narrow isle behind one another. Waitress we had was slow (however I observed one doing a good job). We ordered a Ceasar salad - at that $12 or $14 it cost, We were surprised when our salads came with what looked to be about half a chicken breast each. Only had an opportunity to tell the waitress at the end when we were done that one salad tasted gross compared to the other. Took it off the bill, which was nice, but added some great attitude when she told us as she was walking away. attention manager: get rid of your crummy staff - only one looked as if she was doing a good job, for the other 4 of them with only 10 tables - do us a favor and work in a position where you don't have to deal with people.

My girlfriend and I stopped here after having a long hike at Moraine Lake. We were not sure at the beginning because the reviews were mixed but we didn't regret this stop at all. The service was great and the food was awesome. My vegan girlfriend had the grilled avocado and peanut butter humus and was amazed. My Mountain Burger I had was also very good. We both would recommend this place.

we came here after a long drive from jasper! The resultant was neatly maintained. we got seating immediately. The patio was open but it was too sunny to sit out. the staff was friendly! We wanted to have the chicken souvlaki but it wasn’t available, whatever we asked was not available and we had to settle for some pasta and pita.. the pita was ok. the pasta was good. Nothing too great about it! Was pricey for the food we had! Not a great experience!

This afternoon July 27th 2017, I had a bad experience at this restaurant. I gave my visa card for payment while completing the transaction, the waiter figured she didn't charge for the drinks we had ordered. So she pulled the card out and she recalculated the charge. At this point my card showed an error on their system, they tried another card terminal but it the same issue. I called my credit card company and they told my the payment has gone through from their end. What an inconvenient for me, I finally paid in cash. Now in the next few days I have to contact my credit card company to resolve this issue where the waitress was at fault. Bad experience and I spent quite a bit of money there, clearly I was going to pay for my drinks and food order.

One of the best places I visited in Canada. We were just leaving the lake and it was raining heavily. So we decided to stop for lunch and found this place. I expected it to be a quick meal. But when we entered, going by the ambiance, view and service, we knew we'd be staying back longer. Great staff... very attentive and friendly. We ordered the ribs and chicken with a side of poutine and a couple of burgers, one with a salad as the side and another with sweet potato fries. Everything was great. I am terribly disappointed with the low ratings given to such good restaurants in Canada. I'm not sure why this is. I visited a restaurant in Hamilton which was highly rated but the food was horrible (read inedible). This place was the opposite. I have to say I've had the best ribs in the country here. Much better than other "recommended" places. If I ever go back to this region on a visit, I'm sure to visit again!

What a wonderful little treasure! It's very cozy. The waiter was extremely friendly and really easy to talk to. He was diligent in informing us on the top choices for food. Vegan options are abundant compared to most commercial restraunts. The Beyond Burger (Vegan) tastes shockingly close to actual meat... For new vegans or vegetarians it's a great choice. I highly recommend this place, pricing seems about right for an off the HWY establishment.

The food was good. I ordered the pasta dish and both of them were good. My buddy ordered the skewer shrimp and they completely forgot that he ordered it. Took them around 5-10 mins to bring it back out again. The service was terrible. Don't know if they were slow on 2016-03-30 2PM but God the service was slow. Stood at the entrance for 5 minutes to be seated. We're told to sit wherever we wanted to even though the entrance had mentioned to wait to be seated. Proves how disorganized they are I guess. Sat down with menus and pretty much waited for 10 minutes to order anything. Like I said. The food was good and the stars are for that. The rest is you to decide though. Hate writing bad reviews but i need to be honest.

I love it here, there a great views and a friendly atmosphere. I like the rustic feel of the restaurant and the food is just great comfort food. Then, be sure to grab a coffee because their options are fantastic and you can't go wrong. It's like having a dessert, it's so yummy! You're right off the highway at the base of Lake Louise and there's a gas/petrol station right next door so it's a perfect opportunity to have a meal and gas up before you go on. They have some pretty tasty pizzas on offer and it's just a completely relaxing way to spend some downtime. I think they might offer live shows, but the 3 times I've been there for lunch I have not had that experience, which great for me, I prefer peace and quiet. Not sure if the place is more lively at night then.

I came here to look at their gift shop, little did I know they don' t have a gift shop any more. My gf and I decided to eat here and It was perfect. We came here after our hike on June 4th 2020 and it was dead inside so thats probably why our food came to us so fast. The waiter came by and asked if we needed anything a couple times which was nice. I dont know his name but it he was younger. Still in school. The food tasted excellent!

Our wedding was cancelled of course with covid but this amazing restaurant accommodated our family on the day of our wedding. They went above and beyond. We were a party of 5. Their menu looked interesting. That's why we went there. There were lots of tables available. The waitress looked at us and ignored to even acknowledge us. After standing for over 8 minutes, one waitress said that a hostess will seat you. We waited for another 5 minutes. No sign of hostess. This was totally insulting. They should not be in business if they cannot even acknowledge their customers upon entry. I'm not sure about their food. Could be fine.

First of all it is not an regular western restaurant. Second, I think the chef used to cook korean food. Why I said that. I ordered the chilli burger. The dish looks like I just vomit on the plate. And the worst thing that is the chilli is sweet sweet and hot. I never had this kind of chilli. My girl order Steak and shrimp. But I believe the chef still confused with beef and steak. He must believe any beef could be called as steak. So that is the food is what I had. The restaurant decoration is fine, service is ok. So if you are so hungry and need a place for washroom. Maybe it is good.

Excellent sandwiches! I loved the apples on the gourmet grilled cheese sandwich and the homemade carrot curry soup was delish! I would definitely return to eat here. I only wish that this place was less popular (or that we arrived earlier for lunch), so that the line was shorter and I was able to return for some of the apple crumble which I saw in the display.

Last week, my family and I went here after going to Lake Moraine. We knew it was going to be $$, especially it's near a tourist spot. The food was amazing though! Potato bacon soup was divine, and the bulgogi dish I had was delicious. We'll most probably go back next time :)

One of the best vegan pastas I’ve ever had (and we’re from the foodie heaven Vancouver and had many vegan pastas before). The pasta is nice and soft, great portion, Beyond Meat meatballs were cooked perfectly, and the marinara sauce was so flavourful. The vegan mozza cheese is so good!! We’ve also got gluten free beyond burger (no bun) on rice. Very sweet and accommodating server; they deserve a good tip especially COVID must have made everything difficult for a touristic town like this. Wish we discovered this place sooner :(

Arrived at our accomodation at Lake Louise to find the restaurants provided were over priced, too small to service the number of guests, (an hour's wait) or a grubby, noisy burger bistro. Unimpressed, we came here to be absolutely stoked with the service, prices and quality of food. Meals came out within 10 minutes. We ended coming here for the 3 nights. Have to say, would much rather give our gratuities to staff here than to an establishment that has a licence to print money. ????

Went to this restaurant with my family, my niece, and my mother. 9 of us all together! Service was OK, considering it was a busy sunday after Canada day. Kids all ordered from the kids menu, so did my mom.. lol Oldest boy got a mountain burger. It looked ok. Wife had a poutine, and I had the pulled pork sandwich. Food to me seemed like something from a decent truck stop. The menu was small, and the prices were high.. Not a bad place to eat, but I've had way better. Was pissed off having to pay $20 to drive home (Grande Prairie) up 93 after that. Or take a 2 hour detour. The money gouging around Banff is out of control. It may have been a spoiler on my review as well.

Sat there for 10 to 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged which during busy times is understandable but it was far from busy. The stench of entitlment coming from her was almost unbearable. Everything she said came out of her mouth with a snippy almost judgmental attitude. Maybe the fact im a white man wearing plaid annoyed her? Great customer service. Horrible food. My kid ordered the chicken fingers and fries off the kids menu. The chicken fingers were so bad that my youngest son wouldn't eat them. (Chicken fingers are his favourite by the way) They litterally tasted like they had been sitting out all day, cooled and then refriedx3. It was bad. So bad. My son actually spit it out on his plate. My husband had the quesdilla. The pepperoni in the quesdilla (yes who puts pepperoni in a quesdilla??) Tasted very old as well. Although, we said everything is OK to the waitress, we did not want the waitress to feel bad. Its not the waitresses fault on the poor quality of food. Not a good food experience but great customer service. I think you as the owner should reevaluate your menu to ensure the quality of the food is still there....even in times right now (covid) there is no reason for poor quality food.

This trip was so last minute and we hit colder weather than we expected, BUT we had an amazing time as this is truly Gods Country. The Mountain restaurant is within walking distance and my husband and daughter had already enjoyed it here in the summer so off we went. Being vegan there was plenty of options for me and I enjoyed the beyond burger which was well cooked and delicious!! Our highlight was our server Alisha!! She recognized us immediately from the night before which is always awesome. Her customer service is incredible and being part owner of a restaurant I know how important this is. Drive the extra time to get to Banff and go to a real restaurant. The "patio" is 3 picnic tables in a gas station parking lot. I got the spaghetti and the garlic toast was literally the Texas toast you buy from the grocery store. The fries were the exact $2 fries you get at the Costco cafe. Sangria was just wine. Really disappointed as we drove an extra 30 mins to come here based on the reviews. This is definitely just a truck stop. Only benefit is it is dog friendly.

We all drank water, but when we asked about straws they said it would be 25 cents a straw. I've never been anywhere in the world where they charge you for a straw before Food came out quick. Portion size was generous. Suggested tip on receipt is after tax, not before as it should be.

The reason for a 3 star review is that for the price you pay we were very disappointed with the fact they use prepackaged shoe string fries just like McDonald's. Also wasn't happy to pay an extra $2 for "cheddar cheese" on my burger only go get a slice of cheap processed cheese. And when I pay $7 for a cider I expect more than a can for me to pour myself. Overall decent would be very happy if they stepped it up on those negatives points.

On July 2. 2021 Friday, we visited this restaurant by accident due to detour on our road trip. We bought mountain burger and chicken burger with sides and kid menu with side. The waitress seemed to be nice. We waited for 25 minutes for the order. There was one big paper bag with 3 boxes ready for us. We thought it should be good then left without looking inside the boxes. Later, on the way to Radium, we opened the boxes and found out the sides were missing and just the burgers. Please check your takeout and make sure all you order is in place. The food was okay good but very disappointed in the missing sides, no salad, no fries and no poutine.

Went there today. All covid protocols followed and really clean restaurant. Not busy when we went there - around 2pm. Awesome mountain views. A decent menu and food preparation was fast. Quality & quality was excellent. All great staffs. Will be back again.

I’m back! For my second review!! This fine restaurant has yet to disappoint! This time instead of the burger (two patties of course...) I got the pizza! The bbq chicken is top notch! Staff again, were all smiles. What brings me back every time! Only thing I must say I was sad about was the removal of the nachos on the starter menu! Oh well the entrees left me beaming with smiles!

We had a great meal with my sister from overseas. The service was friendly and, at the end, the waitress gave us some suggestions to get Lake Louise with the shuttle bus. You will appreciate to leave the crowd on the other side of the road, at Samson mall. The thing we greatly appreciate is they ban plastic straws due to the plastic pollution in the ocean. Not many restaurant owner dare to take this action. We strongly support it!

We visited ed during winter to get dinner . First i must say the server was Susan and he was great ..service was amazing . But unfortunately food was not good. We ordered coffee ,carmal machiato, soup, and pasta. Only the caramel machiato was nice. Coffee was just horrible . The soup was sweet and sour which was not good at all. Pasta was better than the soup but not great .

We were just there for lunch. As we have 3 Celiac’s in the family we asked the hostess if there were Gluten free options on the menu. She said yes. Our server said the pasta was gf. So, our 3 Celiac’s ordered it. After one bite my son said:” this is good, too good”. So my husband asked if he could see the packaging for the pasta. Our server said this would be impossible as the pasta was not in any packaging. My daughter has been throwing up since Canmore (we were traveling back to Calgary area) a sure sign that the pasta was not gluten free. If you have any food allergies, or are celiac, do not eat here. I cannot imagine the staff was being dishonest, but enough care was not taken to prevent our family from getting sick. Heaven forbid if we had a life threatening allergy and the same amount of care was taken to ensure our safety. Beware.
