Excellent service at the restaurant. Really great wine selection . Food is not cheap. Duck was excellent . My Elk dish was over done and I did not care about the panko crust on the loin (why ?). Overall it was good food and experience. Anyoing was that the staff was cleaning of tables during our main course.

Beautiful views, great food with service to match. We had the linguini, rib eye, bison/beef burger, and chicken strips. We shared the molten cake for dessert. Everything was excellent. Price was pretty reasonable too. We have two young kids so the fast service was greatly appreciated.

Hostess was a bit rude on insisting we produce photo ID for our 14yo, even after providing proof of vaccinations and health card. Told us we should read the rules, even though we know the photo ID requirement is only applicable to 18+. Also, health card is valid proof of identification. Food was mediocre.

I’m giving this place 2 stars only because the service was very good and everyone was very nice and accommodating. However, the menu is exceptionally limited and for the price, you really don’t get what you pay for. I highly recommend driving a couple minutes down the road and going into the Fairmont hotel located right on Lake Louise. There are much more options there for food and a beautiful view...(for cheaper prices too)

I Absolutely enjoyed our experience here. The service was phenomenal and prompt. Cutlery and dishes were spotless! And let’s talk about that view. Down right gorgeous. As For the meal, We went with a Game chorizo Linguine. Good size portion and fill our stomachs. If you’re in this area I highly suggest to swing by. You won’t be disappointed!

Came here for lunch. Waiter was nice and pleasant. The soup of the day was good. I had the Crisp Duck Leg Confit. It seemed overpriced and largely unenjoyable. Definitely would not recommend it. 7/10

A great dining room close to Lake Louise. We had salmon and steak and both were delicious. The serve is great and the antique lodge type decor was inviting. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast there too!

Had dinner and breakfast here and it was delicious. For dinner we had the Game Chorizo Linguine and it was 5 star. Jeremy was our waiter and he was excellent. The Molton chocolate cake for dessert is also great. For breakfast we had the touton egg sandwich, delicious! Christian was our waiter and was excellent. Great food and great service!

We had lunch, dinner and breakfast here. The food is fantastic but a little pricey. Wine selection is not very good and very expensive. Sangria is amazing! Their avocado and toast is delicious and so is their coffee.

My partner and I had our anniversary dinner here, the staff was quick to serve us they congratulated us and got us some free bubbly! I don’t often leave reviews but the veal ravioli was just that good! Honestly surprised by the price and just how well put together the flavours were. Chapeaux bas to the chef!

Nice place, great service. I'm giving three stars for 2 reasons. 1. The main dining area was too cold, i wasn't comfortable during my meal. 2. The artic char with lentil cake, fish was good, lentil cake was tasteless. I didn't like how bland the dish was. Aside from that the rest of the meals were great. We plan to stay there our next trip to experience the rooms and beautiful older style log architecture.

We used this restaurant twice while we stayed at the lodge. The atmosphere was rustic and lodge like. It was busy for our supper sitting, the meal was good(buffalo burger and a fish and chip) The service was a little lacking, had a hard time getting a fresh beer. We then went down for breakfast the next morning. You could eat the buffet or order from the menu. We had decided to try the menu, tried elk sausage(not for me) the buffet would have been a much better choice cost wise. Ordering off the menu everything was separate and breakfast was a 60 dollar affair.

This is a lovely restaurant with a turn-of-the-century log beam ambience. The food was excellent - I had Wild Caribou Medallions, Spiced Sweet Potato Puree, Raspberry Cognac Glaze. My lovely wife had the delicious Roasted Free Range Chicken Breast, Duck Confit & Apricot Risotto, Chanterelle Mushroom Sauce.

This place is always spot on. The food is amazing and so are the drinks. The maple old fashioned, and the bison beef burger are great. The staff is super friendly and it's always consistent service. I have been a regular here for a couple months and I highly reccomend this place.

My husband and I had the pleasure to enjoy the New Year's Eve dinner menu. The service was good but the atmosphere where we were seated was very dark and made taking pictures very difficult. However! The food made the entire evening worth it. We both ordered the poached pear salad to start and the elk striploin for our entree. For dessert, they served a decadent mouse that faintly reminded me of a chocolate orange. The food was amazing and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend for excellent food at a reasonable price.

We ate multiple meals here (breakfast and dinner) and also at other area restaurants in the same price range, and this place stood out for its gracious staff, low-key mountain ambiance, and thoughtfully composed plates.

Staying in Deer Lodge for 2 days. Dined in the restaurant for one of the nights. Appreciate the staff for checking & complying with all the COVID measures. The food was well prepared, very flavorable. The sfeff is fiendly & courteous. The decor is rustic, fitting for the mountain environment.

Beautiful location and view, but was very disappointed with the service. Very limited menu with no vegan options and very little for vegetarians. Definitely not a good place for children - outside of the comfy highchairs. The bathrooms were not clean and didn't even have changing tables. Food was pricey and wasn't great. Very hard for me to give such a negative review and I don't do it often, but in this case it is warranted.

Food was surprisingly good. The outside of the restaurant doesn't look quite that inviting but once you step in it's like a totally different experience. I had their Atlantic salmon. It was described as having homemade tartar sauce and coleslaw, which I was kind of not sure about since you would expect that at a less costly restaurant, but boy did they deliver with an amazing tartar sauce and the coleslaw wasn't that bad either. It's salmon was cooked to Perfection perfectly seared on one side and moist and tender on the other. I did find however that the seared side was overly salty. I also thought that they should have included a bit more starch / carbs with the dish as the potatoes while amazingly flavoured didn't feel quite as filling. I had their peanut butter cheesecake for dessert. The cheesecake part of the cheesecake was amazing, especially with the chocolate sauce that they use for garnish. However I found that the crumb was a bit too sweet to balance with their berry coulis. I also didn't think the berry coulis was anything special. While it added a nice fresh tartness to balance the creaminess of the cheesecake, it didnt really go with peanut flavor. The best part of the night was their british server lewis. Overall id probably go again.

Decent restaurant with the theme of an old lodge. Service is good, views are great. Food is just Okay. I had the free-range chicken and duck confit with risotto and vegetables; sauce on the chicken was too bitter and salty, risotto was too salty. Duck confit was good. My wife had fish which was just Okay.

The place is really showing it's age and is in dire need of renovation. Tables, chairs, carpets and general appearance need a total update. Despite not being busy due to covid 19 measures, the service was very slow even though there was 1 server for every 2 tables. Our waiter apologized at least a half a dozen times for being slow yet we couldn't understand why, with so few people in the restaurant. Although the food was delicious ( we both had the bison rib eye ) my wife's was under cooked and cold. After sending it back it was prepared correctly but because of this we ended up eating separately. The restaurant did offer us complimentary desserts for their error. We were looking forward to a nice relaxing and enjoyable experience but unfortunately we were thoroughly disappointed and will not be going back.

Staff was excellent and very friendly! I ordered a the sirloin steak (medium rare) $40. The steak came out extremely rare and very fatty. There were only 3 edible bites on a 6-8oz sirloin. I was very disappointed, and then the beer I ordered (wild rose brown ale-20 oz draft) was also flat. It's in a convenient location but after my experience I don't recommend. All restaurants in the Fairview offer much better food.

Had the Moroccan stew. It was amazing! The pie crust it was served with just made it that much more delicious. The resturant also served an excellent maple old fashioned. Sean was top quality. Very helpful.
