New favorite restaurant in Lachine. Have been ordering from here fairly regularly in the past few months. Pasta is fantastic. Pizza is amazing. Tiramisu is outstanding. The food arrives very quickly and the delivery man is extremely friendly. I can’t wait to be able to go for a sit down meal when possible. Definitely recommend this Lachine gem!

We had my husband’s birthday party in the upstairs party room. The room was perfect for 60 people, great decor, DJ, and dance floor. Food was good and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy and all went smoothly. I highly recommend this restaurant for big parties.

Amazing experience, would definitely recommend this restaurant. Was our first time here for my mom's birthday. Service was very attentive and friendly. Obviously they dont taste the plates they serve thats sad bcause its a beautiful restaurant with view on lachine canal. Bcause we complaint about food manager offer us turamisu wich was realy good but also said i served ceaser salad to 150 people today nobody complaint wich come to same to tell its you not the food.... So in fact we would had love better having good food then free tiramisu and will not get back at 80$ with tip without alcool it certainly doesnt worst it. // tres déçues beau resto avec vue sur canal lachine mais la nourriture était exécrable et je pèse mes mots nous etions extrêmement déçues j'avais invité mon amie pour son anniversaire ca ma coûté 70$ sans alcool plus 10$ de pourboire la salade cesar en entree avait un gout tellement bizare et désagréable que nous avons été incapable de la manger même si nous étions affamées je ne suis pas arrivée à déterminer si c'était la mayonnaise qui avait tourné ou autre. Ensuite nous avions pris linguini aux moules sauce ail vin blanc les moules étaient vraiment beaucoup trop cuites (pateuses) et extrêmement salees les pates étaient tres seches et tres salées nous avions aussi choisi lescalope de veau sauce vin blanc et citron avec légumes le veau etait trop cuit donc pas tendre et sec et il y avait énormément de citron confit dans la sauce trop ce qui lui donnait un gout tres amer et salé pourtant jadore le citron confit. Manifestement le chef ne fait pas attention au temps de cuisson et personne en cuisine ne goute ce qu'ils cuisinent. Quand nous avons dit que nous etions déçu le gérant nous a offert des tiramisu (qui étaient excellent) par contre il s'est empressé dajouter : pourtant on en a servi 150 salades cesar et personne ne sest plaint sauf vous (ce qui revient a dire cedt dans votre tête...) honnêtement a 80$ sans alcool pour 2 tiramisu vu que l'entrée et les 2 repas était exécrable cest trop cher payé et tres décevant nous n'y retourneront plus...

The food is CONSISTENTLY delicious. We have tried almost half the menu,and you will not be disappointed. If my memory serves me well, we must have ordered a good 30 meals since May,and we will continue to do so. Quality Italian food,made by had, and from scratch. I loved eating there when it had some class to it! These new young owners are ruining it, the burgers are uncooked and inedible. And who sells burgers and hotdogs at a “fancy“ Italian Restaurant. There are other ways to keep up with the times, cmon guys get creative! Don’t turn into a just another cheap pizza and sub joint because there is no going back. Had a wonderful dinner of mussels marinara and linguini pomodoro from the table d'hote. The other members of the party had the veal and the fish, which they both raved about. The service was attentive, the restaurant scrupulously clean and neat, and the wait staff friendly and attentive. They have a spectacular view of the Lachine canal, and free parking behind the restaurant. Defintely one to keep on the favourites list!

Went for beers. Asked for 2 pintes (20oz or 568ml) got one real pint and one 400ml(with the 0.4l line on it) beer... I told the waitress it looked odd and she no that it was indeed a pint... Had to go ask for the bill as we had been waiting for 15 after finishing our "pintes" we indeed got billed two full pintes.. it was our first and last time.

I gave five stars because the service was excellent. We got the last available table and with customers being turned away we did not feel rushed by the staff. The food was delicious. We began with the mussels in tomato sauce which my picky mom loved and a tasty and generous portion of salad. My sister could not résiste the freshly baked rolls . I had the filet mignon medium,it was cooked to perfection, my sister had the seafood linguini ,it was simply mouthwatering. I had a few forkfuls. It all went down nicely with glasses of red and white wines . We shared a slice of lemon cake which was just the right amount of sweet to end the dinner. Wonderful evening on the terrace with a beautiful view of the canal. I highly recommend this restaurant. I'm already thinking about my next visit . The bill was handed to me with 15% tip , I stopped to increase it to 20%.

No vegan options, dishes had to be modified. (veggie pizza no cheese) Also, don’t mention you’re vegan here because a male waiter went off discussing veganism deliberately within ear shot about how “it’s just not authentic Italian food”, “veal/steak/cheese is too delicious to give up!” ????????‍♀️ Would have honestly considered going back because the food was delicious but after the triggered waiter experience I’ll be passing. Update: Owner responded to my review and blocks me. He/she doesn't seem to be bothered by a customer feeling disrespected or having been the target of his staff's insecurities/prejudice, instead calls it "joking around". Not only was the waiter implying his own coworker did a bad job (the chef, to which I disagree because that pizza was bomb) but he also now feels validated to continue this unprofessional behavior at the restaurant's expense. Making someone feel deliberately uncomfortable by mocking their beliefs with other customers isn't the fine dining experience I was looking for. As for why 2 stars, the food was delicious and the service provided by the waitress originally assigned to my table was extremely accommodating and friendly.

Family owned restaurant since 1993 with outstanding service! Was pleasantly surprised to discover this place. They have a beautiful terrace with views of the lachine canal. I ordered the arugula salad with aged balsamic dressing as well as a healthy, tender portion of octopus and I wasn’t disappointed at all! To finish off our meal we ordered desert which were truly the stars of our meal: tiramisu, crème caramel & out of this world key lime pie ( all made in house!!!!). The friendliest and most attentive staff I have ever experienced at a local restaurant. I was there for drinks and shared a piece of lemom cake with my friend. the cake was out of this world! The house white was very good and the coffee with liquor drink i had was delish. Scenic seating across from the water and an amazing view from their exclusive dinning area upstairs( great for parties). This place is a diamond! Been here twice for two different birthday parties. On both occasions we were a group of 40-50 people and had the whole second floor with cocktails, supper, music and dancing. The food was good, prices are very reasonable, and the service was AMAZING from beginning to end!!! They really go out of their way to make their customers happy. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue for their event or just for a nice supper.

Located along the waterfront of Lachine the front patio is a very nice place to have a nice evening meal. Food consists of the usual Italian fare and is nicely done. Table d'hote offerings are nice and varied. Service, while attentive, can be slow if an event is happening upstairs. There's free parking in the rear of the restaurant.

Delicious food! The rose sauce is quite extraordinary. The pasta was cooked just right. Pizza is a nice traditional thin Italian pizza. Service was quick and delightful. The one complaint/suggestion I would have is the really old and outdated menus. The terrace out front overlooks the park and water. It's a great spot. Hint: Free parking in the back.

So this was our first time coming here and didn't know what to expect. We ordered a calamari and bruschetta to start, the portion was more than enough and it was good. My wife ordered the Gigi pasta and I had the lasagna, possibly the best lasagna I've ever, the flavor was fantastic. My wife enjoyed the Gigi very much as well. Great party venue. We were there for a big party. It was buffet service. The food was good. Lots of space, although they could have done with more chairs. There is no dedicated parking, but street parking was easily found. Staff were great, bar prices quite reasonable.

We had a small wedding (40) and had selected this restaurant for it’s good location in the waterfront, for its food (good price/quality ratio), the friendly service and most importantly the owner’s, Elena, willingness to best accommodate our requirements and budget (including recommending a good DJ reasonably priced). We held the ceremony at the lovely waterfront Parc des Saules across the street, the cocktails and appetizers on the restaurant’s Terrace and the diner in the ground floor space (there is al’ai a good set-up for bigger groups on the second level with all windows facing the Parc and waterfront). Again, the food and service were very good. Allô if our Danilo and friend Sweet vert satisfied. Definitely recommend it

I held my birthday party at Taormina Lounge. From the moment I called to enquire, Elena was so helpful and inviting that it made me even more excited to have my birthday here. She helped walk me through all the details of menu selection, seating and music. All of the staff were very very friendly and were a part of making my night very special. All of my guests were very impressed with the food and service. Stéphane the DJ mixed our music all night in exactly the style I asked for. However my friend and I both ordered the pizzaghetti ( the same pizza and pasta but served already separated) , both ended up sick all night. Called to inform them to avoid other customers getting sick also, and was told that " in 15 years, nobody has ever gotten sick off my pizza or pasta" but today there are 2, very sick people unfortunately. In response to your reply: when I was there, only 2 other tables and the maximum at any given point was 6 tables, far from "packed". It is sad that you take no responsibility, as you were highly recommended. I can assure you that my friend and I, did not both somehow catch " a bug" as we are both nurses, very careful and did not share anything and I've had many patients sick off food poisoning in ER with these exact symptoms, not from a "bug". We can tell what food poisoning is, please don't doubt our intelligence. If you are one of the cleanest 3% in Montréal, then there should be proof of this, any proud business would advertise it but there is no such thing. Health and safety confirmed that they do not award top 3% or provide this information, so who is giving this 3%, the owner??

I'm giving this place a 3.5 because the service wasn't the greatest - more specific, the male waiter who served us Saturday night. He wasnt very friendly. To be honest, it was your female server who made us feel the most welcomed (young, light skin, beautiful). We were seated ALL the way in the back of the resturant... please keep in mind only 2 tables inside the restaurant were occupied. Clearly it was a bad decision on HIS part because someome turned the lights off while we were eating. It was very rude - had that happened before i got my food, I would have walked out. We waited 4 minutes to see if anyone would notice. Finally I got up and asked to have the lights turned back on. When we were served our fried calamari, our male waiter told is it needed salt.... what does that mean? Did he try one in the back OR take one off my plate? As for the food, it was great! My only complaint is I found my egg soup a bit too salty. But over all the food was great. Ohhhh.... AND after I paid the bill, our male waiter wished us a good night with his back turned to us. Really? After I gave him a bigger tip then he deserved, I'm not even good enough to look at when you're saying goodbye?!? To anyone who is reading this, I'm not mad at the food - the chef did a great job. It's the service Im upset with.

Great service and atmosphere overlooking the Lachine canal, but food was a bit disappointing based on previous reviews and the price. For starters the cream of vegetable soup was excellent. I had the scampi, a generous portion but overcooked, however it came with some lovely grilled mixed vegetables. My partner had a pasta with meat sauce that left a lot to be desired. Overpowering acidity in the tomato sauce base that was too thick and hardly had any meat. Pasta was not fresh, which was expected at these prices and at any Italian restaurant worth the name. I wonder if the chef was on vacation...

The comments of our group of 50 people are unanimous: Excellent! We celebrated our father's 80th surprise birthday party in the private lounge on the 2nd floor last Saturday and had a wonderful time. The owners are most welcoming, attentive and very accommodating to make your event a success. Every 4-course meal dish was fresh and exquisite. We certainly can’t deny the chef's rich Italian heritage and culinary expertise ... bravo! Service? It was impeccable for the amount of people we were. We felt like family! Thank you again Elena, Paolo and staff for making this evening most memorable for our father and all of us. We highly recommend Taormina Lounge without hesitation for your special event! We were a party of 3, service was great dishes were good BUT the one I ordered was disappointing since there was tiny frozen shrimp and scallops mixed with fresh muscles in my linguini alla pescatore. I always order the dish at an Italian restaurant and it's always been with fresh seafood so you can see why I was very disappointed when they brought me my plate. I would not order the same dish again but I would go again and only get muscles with linguini....

The food is good (7/10), just average for Italian food. Easy dishes like the salads and antipastos are very delicious. Pasta was very good, and the fresh bread was delicious. The main dishes around my entire table were lackluster. Chicken breast was dry, sauce on the veal was strange and too salty, sides like rice or potatoes lacked flavor. Our entire table (12 people) was surprised considering all the other dishes in our meal were very good. The restaurant itself is very picturesque and beautiful. However there were a few things that seemed 'off' for such a recently renovated resto. Reminiscent of a home that is quickly renovated to appear nice for quick sale but disregards some serious issues. Our visit was in the winter, and there was a major issue with temperature control. Everybody was freezing cold. The bathrooms were especially ice cold and there was no hot water. The cobwebs in the windows were shocking, as if they have not been cleaned in years (with such a view the windows should be kept clean). The wait staff is very friendly, however the blonde female manager is fake and not very accommodating. She seems to be a highly stressed individual, often scolding her staff in front of the clients (it is obvious) and she insisted that 3 people at our table did not pay the bill. In the middle of a party we had to search for our proof of our credit card payment. I'm not impressed and sadly I will not be returning. Would NOT recommend.
