Nice discovery that the Portuguese casa! nice welcome. Nice little table on the terrace with a view of the cycle path. Very reasonable prices. We priced the appero (red wine) We ate the soup of the day, the starter, Cesar salad and the Portuguese chicken. With fried rice and homemade chips wow excellent. Attentive and prompt service. I really enjoyed basking in the sun on the terrace and the style of grill a la Portuguese is amaz9ng for us. We had a plate with mix grilled meat & another with mix grilled sea food. Delicious....very casual relaxed atmosphere. An aside point. I know that the company influence the chance of liking or not the place where you are. Take a good friend with you & take your time on the river, watch the street, people passing by, it is always like a little vacation. We will be back

We are very disappointed. We booked a table to celebrate my birthday 3 days ahead. It was raining outside when we came by our time and we were told that patio is closed because of the rain and they can't welcome people inside because it it already full. I understand Covid measures, but at least they could call us and cansel our reservation. So I have to looking for other place at 6.00 pm on Saturday to celebrate my birthday. We were a group of 9 that decided to try the restaurant. 2 members of our group arrived 10 mins and 20 mins later and ordered right away. After about an hour, every had eaten except the two guests who arrived a little later. When we asked the waiter when they could expect their meals, he pointed to other tables and said "i have that table, that table and that table with only 1 cook". No apology, then left! It was probably the worst service I have ever experienced. The guest who arrived 10 mins later ordered a shrimp cocktail and after 40 minutes of not receiving her plate or an apology, she left the restaurant. For a place that serves really mediocre food, you'd expect much better service - but this place had neither. I would not recommend it. Ps. While leaving, the meal (standard 1/2 chicken and fries) the guest who arrived 20 mins later was being brought out. This is an hour after ordering it. He asked to have it boxed to go. The waiter, same one as before, said they have no plastic utensils, but he could give him a napkin! The owner or manager quickly handed our guest a bag for the box along with a plastic fork and knife. Just horrible

Food used to be okay but they seem to have made a huge change amongst the kitchen staff and it shows !! The chicken and the chorizo were perfectly cooked and tasty. Service is great as usual and so is the pricing. As a regular, they’ve seem to overcome the kitchen issues by hiring new motivated staff. Two thumbs up to the team ????????????????

Small restaurant and bar , the food was good and the portions were big. We ordered the catch of the day which was salmon. It comes with lots of chips and some veggies. The taste was good and the price is reasonable. We also orders the pork cutlets which was really good too. The service was good and the wait time was ok . They were not busy. The only thing I didn’t like was the bread they gave to us before the meal . It had no taste.
