I could've had the same quality in a Michellina's frozen meal. I had a cheesecake for dessert that was just plain and not good. Definitely not worth over $30. Very disappointed.

Wow! Truly a gwm in the area. High quality and unique take on some traditional meals. They make a pickled preserve that is beyond good. It has flavour and heat but doesn't hang around to ruin your meal. A nice balance. The staff is very friendly and courteous. New to Lachine and just a few blocks from my place, my girlfriend decided to give this place a try since we pass it every morning on the way to work. Walked in an got a very genuine "hello", the ambiance was warm and the smell of the wood stoves was amazing, we ended up sitting outside but since very nice decor inside. The server was very nice and she was very quick to come see us for our order. As they advertise pizza is their specialty, I went with a pizza and oh man was it every tasty. Thin crust pizza with the perfect char marks and the pizza sauce was fantastic. Had dessert with an espresso and the coffee was also excellent. Can clearly tell that these guys care about quality of their products and the service. We definitely be coming back!

Best pizza we've had in Montreal. Perfect crust, the pizza is packed full of flavour and yet is not at all greasy. Also tried the penne in rose sauce, was equally delicious. Their garlic bread was not great, but the rest was so delicious it didn't matter. It's on the pricey side, but considering the quality of the food it's worth every penny. From now on we'll be ordering our pizza from here.

I used to have lunch here once a week but don't eat here at all anymore. THE GOOD: music (90's and 00's mix) and ambiance are solid, cocktails are fun (and huge!). THE BAD: Prices are on the high side (though the lunch menu is decent), pizzas occasionally have runny sauce. THE UGLY: the Italian salad (solid) comes with two cherry tomatoes (which I don't enjoy) and one olive (which I do). After months of ordering this salad, I finally asked if I could have one extra olive instead of the two cherry tomatoes. The answer was a firm NO. I still can't believe it. Now I don't eat here at all anymore. All over one olive.

Disappointed. I have eaten at this restaurant a few times before and have always enjoyed their pizzas and other dishes. We placed an order online today for 2 pizzas and for an entrée of calamari. I picked up the food. Food was ready fast (15-20 minutes) but the pizzas tasted just so-so (crust was soggy) and they seem to have cut back on the amount of calamari they usually serve.

My wife liked her pasta even though she got it at the same time as her entree, which made the pasta slightly colder. She had to ask for parmesan cheese, which should have been automatic at any restaurant when serving pasta. The pizza was somewhat soggy and not crispy for a wood burning oven style pizza. I like my pizza firm that can hold the toppings together, not droopy.

I have to give 5 stars! This place was nice and food was delicious. The staff were attentive and really took good care of us. It was our first time trying it out and it definitely won't be our last. The ambiance is really nice and cozy. Perfect for a happy hour, family supper or date night! The food! Wow! The calamari were perfect! Pasta was delicious and so was the pizza but you gotta try the nutella donuts. They tasted like heaven, I think I heard angels sing when all the goodness touched my lips. Ordered the Italian toast.. it says it comes with Bruschetta but it only comes with 2 thin slices of tomato. The tomato only covers half the toast, the other half has a thin slice of cheap mozzarella. It says poached eggs in plural on the menu but only comes with 1 egg, definitely change your menus if you don’t intend to follow the menu..? The bacon was uncooked in some places and barely cooked in others. It made me physically sick. Everything was SUPER salty and peppery too! Really awful for 20$. Big waste of money.

Be sure to make reservations, this is a quaint little place so avoid disappointment by reserving. We have eaten at another Bacaro in NDG and enjoyed it quite a bit so were looking forward to trying out this one as well. Went here for lunch a few days ago and had an overall good experience. The service was friendly, but on the slow side. We asked for suggestions, and didn't get many details. Ended up ordering a pizza from the table d'hote. It has mushrooms, garlic, onions and I added bacon of I recall correctly and ordered the pepperoni sticks as an entree. The sticks weren't good, it was cold, tasted stale and didn't have anything special to it. The pizza was good, the sauce was a bit tangy for my liking but overall I enjoyed it because of the amount of bacon they put on it. The portion was generous, and I was very full by the end (I have a huge appetite). Restaurant was clean, our table wasn't wobbly. Overall, good though nothing spectacular.

Nice decor inside, owner/manager is friendly and clearly cares about his restaurant and employees. They have a nice little terrace too, max I think is about 15-20 people. Appetizers are good, best of them was the fonduta (cheesy sauce with sausage served with warm focaccia) but that was removed from the menu. The food is good, however the sausage sandwich is very oily and the flavor is kind of missing. I can't comment on the other sandwiches as I have never tried them The pizza's are great, from the ones they offer to creating your own. There is no limitation on the amount of toppings you can put on a pizza (I asked) but they do recommend to not put more than 4 or 5 since it could prevent the dough from cooking properly. The pasta's are good too, however (big however) they changed the Ravioli Bigola, which was stuffed with pork and came with a delicious cream sauce, for Tortelini Bigola and is now stuffed with ricotta....a little disappointed. I would have given 5 stars, and I know they must adhere to the franchises wishes, but they removed 2 very good dishes. Perhaps they weren't selling well.
