I was in the lookout for healthier options in daily food and found a viable option in La Shish. They have a variety of salads that are very good (mangoes, beets, etc. with little to no additives. The food tastes excellent, and the price is very reasonable. The lady who took my order on the phone, upon hearing that I trying to minimize salt intake, was really nice and suggested items from their menu accordingly. I will definitely keep ordering again. The veggies and pickled stuff in the wrap we're good. The beef and chicken we had we're very over cooked and dry and no flavor. But at least it was very cheap.

Simply put, this is the best shawarma in Montreal. (And I’m the kind of person that has tried many shawarma restaurants over the years, so don’t take this claim lightly.) It’s worth going to La Shish whether you live in Lasalle, West Island, Repentigny, or even further! Not convinced? Read along... The meats are absolutely amazing: not only juicy, but also flavourful and the beef practically melts in your mouth. Their meats also aren’t as salty nor dry as many other shawarma places, so you get to taste more of the flavour of the meat. The salads don’t disappoint, either. They always carry a great selection of fresh salads that are delicious: Tabbouleh, Greek, Hearts of Palm, avocado, Fattoush, etc. Forget about those shawarma places that just have green salad leaves and tomatoes, this is the real deal! Best of all, the garlic sauce is made with real garlic and also quite amazing and better than any other that I tasted. If you’re ever bored of the regular garlic sauce, be sure to try the spicy garlic sauce. Finally, this is a place run by a lovely family where you can see and feel the passion, hard work and effort put into the food. You’re always greeted with smiles, good atmosphere and a great cleanliness. Give La Shish a try, you won’t regret! They also do delivery and are present on popular food apps, so you literally have no excuses not to.

Thoroughly disappointed... I came this place bcs of superb reviews and a great deal of craving good shawarma, expected a decent taste but really really disappointed. I tired mixed plate;rice was soggy, beef was tasteless , chicken was outright sloppy. their sauces was ok but at that point it meant nothing.. then i wanted to try some desserts (thinking maybe giving them another chance is a good idea) got baklava and my god it was inedible. probably waited a lot in the fridge definitely not fresh. It had a very heavy sugar taste, was mushy too. ON TOP OF ALL THIS me and my friend got diarrhea right after we finish trying the baklava. WE barely made at home.. Also I tried to call the place and warn them but all they said was next time when we drop by(which will never happen btw) we should skip the dessert.. its just sad .. Note to owner; you claimed we finished our food, you can check the pic.. we force ourselves to ate the meat because we were hungry and need to get our moneys worth, thanks for clarifying what type of establishment you are running..

What a gem of a place could almost be home!! Now in saying this i am no connaisseur of these types of dishes but when I lived in Toronto 20 years ago 8 would drive all the way back to Montreal to have shish.taouk! So many places pop up and many different chains exist now but I still go back to the original place that seemed to be what I would call authentic. But I found this new place all the way LaSalle to step up to the plate (excuse my pun) and serve an excellent dish. Will definitely go back to this home feel of the place!! Beware, the people who own this restaurant will try to screw you. Here is what she (the owner) does on orders which are Shish taouk (Chicken) or Shahrma (beef) plates: She'll load the plate with tons of rice and potatoes, and then puts VERY LITTLE meat on top of the rice. When I complained to her about this, do you think that she adjusted the amount of meat she gave me? No, she gave me even LESS meat than before, but more rice. Always more rice. These owners are crooks who smile in your face, while they rob you blind. Next time, check the meat on your plate or take out container. You'll see what I mean. These Lebanese places have the nerve to charge $12.00 for a plate, while it is almost all starch. As for me, I'm never going back to this place.

If I could give 6 stars I totally would. This place simply can't be compared to chains like Amir or Basha. Everything is HOME MADE!! Family run, the warm and joyful welcome makes you feel as if you are eating in their home. They explain everything and make great suggestions. Avocado salad, mango salad, tabouleh and all kinds of other tasty salads. They have a spicy garlic sauce and spicy hummus on top of the regular versions, something I had never seen before and fell in love with. They encourage folks to play music on their piano creating a festive atmosphere. Finally, we were served fresh brewed tea at no extra cost :) STRONGLY encourage you to try this lebanese restaurant and will travel myself from Dorval just to eat here and support their great work. Their patio must be very enjoyable in the summer.

This is one of my favorite places to eat! The family who runs the restaurant is one of warmest, kindest, and most genuine that I have met. The food is delish! They have like 8 different salad options, including a mango one and an avocado one that are my personal favorites. The lady who runs the show has an insanely good memory for orders and faces and is one of the sweetest people ever, and so is her son. Go eat there, you won't regret it. <3

This place is a hidden gem! It is not only the food that is amazing, it is the staff and atmosphere as well. I recently purchased a lunch (November 20th) from La Shish and was welcomed with the most friendly staff and amazing service. The meal itself was great - large portions for a small price and all very fresh of the day with wholesome ingredients. Definitely recommended and will return!

i am a student from cavelier de LaSalle and honestly during this pandemic if it were not for this restaurant la shish still being open, i would have starved myself. Their food is exquisite and very well seasoned and tasty especially the potatoes that i always get every day and besides that the family at la shish is very welcoming and friendly and i am always happy to hear the bell ring so i could run to la shish for lunch.
