Dadam is so far the best Korean place I have ever been in Montreal. Everything is like what you will find in traditional Korean homes. Bibimbob came with a small soup with noodles (dont expect cheap dashi-based soup. This broth is very flavorful without overwhelming). Three side dishes were very impressive and these really take Dadam to the next level. Side dishes were kimchi (of course), pickled vegetables, and korean style egg rolls with vegetables and cheese in the middle (even I don’t even put this much effort to make egg rolls at home). As well we were served with two small salads with delicious salad dressing! I was so tempted to ask what their secrete recipe is. Galbitang’s broth was so rich and i could tell with the meat that this was cooked by hours and hours of boiling. So truly delicious we were very impressed. Bibimbob was so delicious and all ingredients were very fresh. Fried chicken was also very fresh and good with no yucky smell (i can tell when fried foods are fried with old yucky oil. This was definitely fried in fresh clean oil). Overall i am extremely satisfied with this experience. For sure going to come back and recommend this place to everyone

Went with my husband on a saturday night. The place was quite empty, but this didn't take away from how awesome the food was! That fried chicken....yummy! The seafood pancake was also great. Can't wait to go back and try their ramen. Would recommend. Clean bathroom, but tap only ran cold water. EDIT: tap runs hot water in less time :) the seafood and cheese ramen, as well as the bulgogi bibimbap are delicious. As everytime, we receive excellent service.

When I was first introduced to this restaurant it was outside my comfort zone. Not sure what I was venturing into. Never tried Korean food. The spice and flavors followed by the presentation was mouth watering. The soups and dishes have a bit of everything from fresh ingredients. The fried chicken is on to no other. I can't prononce the dishes all I can say it's my place à hidden gem in Montreal.

Among all the korean restos Ive been to, Dadam by far has the best side dishes. The salad is always fresh, the soup -despite being rather simple- is very good and the kimchi/fish tofu/tofu/ other sides they have available are always good. The portions are pretty decent and their bibimbap is already flavorful even without the sauce. Very home-y and cozy place. Staff is very nice as well. My only issue is that they dont have that much selection. But they are also new so I guess it would make sense.

Very good place with yummy food. Some of the plates were a bit sweet and not enough spicy (as Korean dishes usually have a bit of a nice kick). I'm surprised Japchae was not part of the menu but glad that we got it as an appetizer with lunch. The spicy pork was food but it came in a huge bowl of rice. The pork was a bit sweet, it could have used more spices. The beef rib place was very savory but the plate lacked some kind of vegetables. The fried chicken and sugar was actually a good combination of salty parmesan and not invasively sweet. I would definitely order it again.

Their Korean fried chicken is to die for. Also good as leftovers and the daikon radish that they serve with the chicken is so good. The combination was addicting, I dreamed of it all week. Went there the other day and was really impressed with the food! Had the seafood pancake, spicy pork soup, and the pork knuckles. What really made me want to buy down the whole store (if I were a millionaire) was their homemade kimchi! It was a-may-zing!!! Can't wait for them to get their liquor license! I took bibimbap and fried chicken(half&half) and honestly I did not expect them to be this good when I was ordering. I was just missing Korean food. This place is definitely one of the best Korean restaurant in the town and I'm sure the cook had experience in Korea. They taste very similar to the original taste they are 'supposed' to be. I visited about a month ago. Had some seafood ramyun and the seafood pancake. They don't have vegetable ramyun. Both items were disappointing to me. The pancake was burnt on the outside and almost raw on the inside, a bit too thick maybe. The ramyun - difficult to describe - some frozen seafood with ramen and not very tasty stock on top, and a bit of veggies (huge carrot pieces...). On the way out I saw a "cook" going out of the korean restaurant and into the japanese one, no idea why. Personally, I would not go back.
