Centrale Pizza is hands down my favorite local establishment. Excellent service. Fast delivery. AMAZING pizza and a generous amount of toppings. Centrale has literally saved us on 3 separate occasions - they warmed our bellies through a power outage, they keep our insides filled with cheese when our groceries never arrived, and they saved us again tonight when the meals we originally ordered from somewhere else on Uber Eats never showed up. Centrale Pizza has been a favorite of mine for the past 25 years old. I remember their pizzas came loaded with toppings back in the day. They were at least 1" thick (or more). Today's experience proved things have changed. I understand food costs have risen substantially, but as a result, so have menu prices. My pizza today was very thin, with a thin layer of pepperoni scattered. My previous experience prior to today (about 3 weeks ago) was also disappointing, but at least it had 2 layers... It's still a great tasting pizza. It's just that they've become really skimpy on the toppings. Hopefully it was just a bad night with a new cook. I'll give them another chance! If you have never tried their pizzas, you really should! They are really good and they still beat sooooo many pizzerias in/around Mtl.

En le retirant j'ai aussi remarqué qu'il était si pâle ( presque gris). Loin d'être appétissant. Bon pour la suite je dois dire que je ne m'attend jamais a courir le marathon quand je mange un sous-marin, mais j'ai tout de même était en mauvais état toute la soirée. Quel dommage! J'adorais cet endroit, mais pour moi c'est fini. Je ne payerai jamais deux fois un resto du quel je dois retirer la nourriture de ma bouche.

Yeah, a lot of places make Pizza. But Centrale Pizzeria is by far in a class of there own. The "true" test of a Restaurant Pizza, is to get a Tomato and Cheese Pizza. You can truly taste the dough (you can judge the texture, the rise, and the crust) and that they know how to make pizza dough. You can see if the tomato sauce tastes fresh, is not sweet (they put sugar in tomato sauce to hide the acidity) and should taste like tomato sauce. The mozzarella cheese should be melted without any kind of oiliness, be flavourful like mozzarella and not chewy like rubber. They put just the right amount of dough thickness, tomato sauce and enough mozzarella cheese. Oh, and the place is nice and clean and you can see them making the pizza right in front of you (not in some hidden back room kitchen that is dirty).

Used to be close to 5 stars but I find something changed. Gone are the greek potatoes, the chicken brochettes are pitiful... changed methods I guess to save money but quality suffered. Everybody knows their pizza is the best in town. Moving on from that, their poutine is good too. Great cheese and a little more on the salty side, but in a good way. Good pizza made by Costa, Taso and the rest of the Greecemen behind the counter. I would have given 4 stars but deducted one for one of the guys behind the counter that always has a smirk when I pick up my order. I really don't know what the smirk is for. It almost makes me not trust the workers. Or they don't like people of certain races.

This used to be the best pizza in Montreal, if you exclude real Italian pizza like Pizzeria Napoletana, Gema and Bottega. But for a "greek" style old-school pizza this used to be THE place. But with new administration, this restaurant is going down. Are they changing the quality of ingredients, are they cutting on the toppings, have they changed the sauce recipe; all of the above is on the line as the standards aren't the same they used to be. It's a real pity, as this place was a destination. Not any longer. I don't care to make a detour to Manzo, as at least, this place is constant and understand the definition of quality. New administration probably wants to cash as fast as possible, cutting down the standards established for so long, and now it will not serves them, as faithful customers for years are now moving away. It is impossible to think that new administration who would buy a landmark like Centrale pizza would dare to change the quality, thinking that they will get away with it? Not clever if you ask me. Maybe it will close soon.

Outre sa pizza, sans doute la meilleure dans les environs, c'est un restaurant de quartier où l'on sert une cuisine populaire d'influence italienne et grecque, un menu sans grande surprise (pizza, sous-marins, pâtes, brochettes, etc.), mais correct pour se sustenter copieusement. La soupe "boeuf et orge" est assez bonne.

Worst service ever. We order a pizza. 45 min later, we did not receive our pizza. We called back they said it was gone and we should receive the pizza soon. Another 45 min and we called back. Then they lady said we we're not in the system. I called this place several time in the past,so I am in the system. They just told us what was convenient for them. We did not eat a pizza that day. Never call there, you won't receive you pizza anyway If I could, I would put minus 5 stars
