This Sushi Shop franchise is pretty good, for a Sushi Shop, of which I am not a big fan. The selection of ready-made platters is usually varied and fresh. I always pay extra for the special mayos because 1. their soy sauce is way too salty and 2. the sushi is kinda bland and needs the extra kick (not the worst I've had, however). Dining room is small but pretty, with a cute tatami table. The biggest plus of Sushi Shops imo is the convenience of long opening hours and quick service - with my schedule, sometimes it comes down to them or IGA, so.

Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, China, turkey, different cities in ????????. When you eat sushi you should feel the taste behind the nose not in your mouth. Also, when you dip it in the soy sauce it should not taken apart. You can get all of them here. I had a great welcoming experience and she got my order patiently. I asked a pack with lot of restrictions but at the end I got what I ordered exactly ????. Next time I will order more Salmon Nigiri ???? O'sushi is the worst sushi's Ive ever tasted in my entire life.The avocado was brown,the chicken pieces were hard and the sushi's weren't tighten properly so everything in it was falling on my plate.For a 30 sushi piece they gave us 1 soya sauce.The sushi's tasted bland with no flavor whatsoever.My husband who sucks at cooking made better sushi than this place.The only thing that was Ok was the bubble tea the rest was pure garbage. I've been going to O'sushi for more than 7 years now and finally decided to leave them a review - they deserve it! In my opinion, this is one of the best spots for sushi in Montreal for those who want a very tasty roll that will not break the wallet. This place and Soba sushi have taken over my love for the food. Their rice is always fresh and tasty with a hint of sweetness in it and the rolls are well prepared, with good ingredients to spare. The quality has been solid for years now and the staff is very friendly! (Part of the reason why I've been their stable customer for so many years :)) The place itself is relatively small, and clean. The ambiance is a tad bland, but that's not why I come there (I usually go for takeout and gorge myself at home). I come for the sushi experience and I will always suggest to order from the menu! Tl:Dr- go at least once. It's delicious and cheap for the price! P.S. : saw someone complaining about a chicken roll... who gets those? That's as far from Japanese cuisine as it gets (I know, I know, Western sushi and such... still)

My favorites: seafood tartare maki, lobster spring maki or smoked salmon, spicy salmon futomaki, shrimp maki, smoked eel maki, dessert sushi! ETC !! ???? I have been ordering for almost 10 years. I have never been disappointed. When I want to celebrate my birthday, Valentine's Day or a success, it's my choice of a 100% restaurant (but we eat them at home because there the atmosphere is more "take-out" than restaurant, even if there are seats). Ça leur prend 1 heure pour arriver alors, sachant cela, on commande à l'avance; c'est long parce que tout est fait au fur et à mesure donc le riz est encore tiède quand ça arrive, il n'a pas durci à cause de la réfrigération... C'est là qu'ils sont les meilleurs! Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent compte tenu de la grande qualité, mais je ne paierais pas plus cher car ils sont tellement bons qu'on en commande une TONNE (au point où ils nous envoient 4 paires de baguettes alors qu'on n'est que 2 hahaha). Mes favoris : maki de tartare aux fruits de mer, maki de printemps au homard ou encore au saumon fumé, futomaki au saumon épicé, maki à la crevette, maki à l'anguille fumée, sushi-dessert! ETC!! ???? J'y commande depuis presque 10 ans. Jamais je n'ai été déçue. Quand je veux célébrer mon anniversaire, la St-Valentin ou une réussite, c'est mon choix de resto à 100% (mais on les mange à la maison car là-bas l'ambiance fait plus "comptoir à emporter" que restaurant, même s'il y a des places assises). J'ai même déjà recommandé cet endroit pour un événement corporatif avec des gens importants (une centaine de personnes -- commandez plusieurs jours d'avance pour un tel volume!), parce que je savais qu'ils seraient sans faille. I used to work here and this place is ridiculous. Please stay away as the fish aren't fresh and they often re-use fish from the previous day when the sushi isn't sold... Beware of the fried stuff because they never change their oil... it's as black as it can get and they keep recycling it. Also if you are having those fried sushi pieces for 1$... know that it's from the previous few days and frying it was a solution instead of throwing it away. The boss also has no shame and only wants money over costumers. You have been warned.

I would give this place 0 stars if i could. They dont honor their specials, we order from them every week the same special (the quality has been declining in the past few months), old rice and old dry fish. I really dont recommend this place anymore, avoid at all cost.

WORST SUSHI EVER.. now i never write reviews at all.. nor do i take pleasure on bashing people trying to make an honest living, in a very hard restaurant business. After the sushi arrived.. i ate maybe 5 pieces and called back right away.. the avocado was harder than rocks.. so like 65% was totally inedible.. when i called back to complain the manager was aware that it wasn't ripe yet. so i asked why would u possibly serve it then? he proceeded to tell me I'm the only one who complained about it other people accept it.. now i don't know if you've ever eaten a not ripe avocado. its hard and tastes horrible. very disappointing especially when u spend almost 30$ with tip on food that has ridiculously low cost to make.. on top of of all of that out of the 28 pieces i think 8 actually had fish in it and the rest was all vegetarian. this place has ZERO pride in ownership and id rather eat Mc Donalds a day old out of a garbage can.
