Very good souvlaki, picnic tables outside near the river bank, friendly staff, and great view of the setting sun on the Saint Lawrence. Convenient stop for people walking or biking on the path a few metres away, as there are few restaurants nearby.

You want late night fast food, this is the place to go. There are lots of options, they deliver pretty late as well, (don't forget to tip the delivery man) try the souvlaki and poutine. Price's are really good. They also have parking and some decent picnic tables where you can look out to the river.

This is one heck of a good place to eat and enjoy your food I love their LaSalle Subs which are there specialities and their pizzas are delicious. Actually I have been going to this place for the past 13 years right by the waterfront unless I'll the food is to die for family-friendly and even picnic tables on the outside that you can eat there. Enjoyed very much and will continue for many more years to go.

Nice little diner that's just on the bike path by the riverside, offering a nice view of the Rapids. They offer standard American-style fare with burgers, subs, sandwiches, pizzas and poutine. Nothing really outstanding in terms of signature-style items except for their pizza dough subs other places seem to have copied. Do they cater? Yes and no. They can do bulk orders and they deliver, but as for an actual catering service, I don't think so. You'd have to talk to the owner. Do they accept credit or debit? Yes and no. The counter only takes cash, but they have a mini ATM in the back. Too bad for those of you looking to avoid service fees or rack up rewards points. As an aside for comic book and figurine collectors, Johnny the restaurant owner was the co-proprietor of the now-defunct Expert Comics in the Carrefour Angrignon shopping mall at the other end of LaSalle. He also had an annex store on the top floor of the restaurant that used to be open to the public but is now closed, too. It was a mini warehouse up there, with long boxes full of comic books and shelves with figurines and statues, and couldn't be accessed from outside, you had to enter the restaurant and go through the back door past the restrooms and the ATM machine, then turn left and go up the stairs. Not sure what he did with all his stock.

Consistently mediocre, in the decent way. I pass by here often on my way to and from work. I only stop by when I'm really hungry, giving them another chance and every time the food is a solid just ok. Also, it is frustrating because you cannot pay with credit or debit. Cash only, but at least there is an ATM buried in the back.

Used to pick up meals quite often when I could drive... up to 6 months ago and especially liked the subs and pizzas. As I am now disabled and can’t get out of my home to get cash I have to order delivery from other restaurants (1or 2 times a week). I prefer your food but can only use debit card.

We placed an order on Uber during the quarantine; never ordered from here before so I wanted to try a little bit of everything. The pizza was surprisingly good, I didn't have high expectations, but I would order pizza again (pepperoni). The subs were average, but better than other places like this; once you've tried a george roi sub, nothing really compares. the poutine was a disappointment. The gyros were very good though, definitely worth ordering again.

This is by far, in our opinion, the best place on the south west shore of Montreal to get a steak sub!. Our favorite is the Lasalle Special. The meat is thin slices of beef chopped and fried with chopped pepperoni, caramelized onions,mushrooms, melted white cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, a sweet & tangy orange sauce served on a toasted sub roll. Its served wrapped in foil paper, cut in half and arrives pipping hot! Don't wear anything you care about while eating this bad boy as you'll be wearing some of the filling...but it wont go to waste...you'll lick it off! There are a lot of different textures, flavors and temperatures going on when you eat one of these and its total heaven!.

Fast food well done. Excellent hamburgers, hot-dogs, poutine and their specialty Peter-special is a must. While the location is excellent and the food is great there are two areas that need to be improved on. While staying competitive is understandable their price points are too high and they need to adapt to the times and accept Debit/Credit Cards. While there are many great things about this restaurant cash-only is too far gone.

It's been quite a while since the last time that I had LaSalle Drive In. A quaint fast restaurant by the river... Quaint, that's how I would have described a cash only restaurant... 10 years ago. It was so long I forgot that they were cash only. So I drove 20 minutes, we all piled out working out what we wanted and then saw the sign, cash only. They helpfully let me know there is an ATM, $3 to the cash machine company and $3 to my bank $6 before I get any cash. I consider restaurants and businesses still doing this as very insulting. So we left. And won't likely go back. We would have plunked down $30 to $40 for four of us for dinner. Hey LaSalle Drive In, pay attention, it's 2019, find other ways to be quaint, cash only, suck it up, or figure out what the monthly cost of having Interac across average sales and the $0.05 to $0.10 per transaction across all prices. Very disappointed with this.

This is the best place in lasalle for fast food I recommend ordering it for delivery (depending where you are 10-20mins) it's alot faster than going in the tiny restaurant and waiting forever, its cash only which can be annoying if you dont have any on you but the food is always good.

update 2022 Jan Went to order and a young dude prepping the order forgot to keep his mask on and didn't have gloves on when working with food so that was a bit disappointing see. As a precaution I just reheated it when I got home just in case but for those that like order a salad or wrap or burger and isn't planning to head home to reheat. For a diner that doesn't accept debit or credit, doesn't have wifi and has the most boring decor in all of Montreal, everything is extremely over priced. Their fountain drink options are no good. We ordered a smoked meat sandwich combo which was actually just a thick piece of ham with cheese and mustard. The overload of fries was completely unnecessary but I feel it's just to justify the price. This combo was $15 (with tax)!? Don't be fooled, this restaurant is simply a landmark because of how old it is. The food wasn't great, they're very overpriced, and the employees weren't bubbly to say the least.

We have been going to Lasalle drive in for years and when we opened the pizza box we had to look twice make sure we ordered at the right restaurant. Lasalle special the bacon looked différent and the crust hard as a rock, taste wasnt there very dissapointed. Go back to the old recipe.

The girl who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. I had to repeat my order 3 times for her to understand and they still got it wrong.I specifically asked to have something removed from my Sub and they added double of it. My husband ordered two club sandwich last night and it was absolutely disgusting. The chicken had a horrible taste like it had been sitting out all night. We had no choice but to shoot them out.We called the restaurant and spoke to the owner who was arrogant and claiming he himself was eating a club that we were wrong. After ordering for many times and never complaining in the past I’m shocked at the way they handled the situation. Definitely never ordering from here again and I suggest everyone stay away from this place the quality and cleanliness has clearly gone down hill!

First of all I don't like the places that they don't accept card either credit or debit! They have cash only policy and the atm in place charges you extra for the service!!
