Visited this authentic Italian restaurant for a company Christmas lunch. Food is always fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly and attentive. If I'm not mistaken you can bring your own wine. If it wasn't too far from where I live I would visit more often.

In regards to the food, the only issue I had was that it was very salty. Nonna didn't mind but I did ahaha Went for a family event and was very happy to have a private area, overall very accommodating as other places weren't when deciding our location. Unfortunately, the service was kind of unorganized, and some of the servers weren't made aware of specifications that were mentioned during the reservation. It was then corrected without real complications and that was very much appreciated.

This place is great period!!! There are many Italian restaurants in Montreal but none quite like this. The food is excellent, the service is excellent and the restaurant has a great atmosphere/ambiance. In my opinion it is the best Italian restaurant in Montreal. I have been at least 20 times and I have never had a bad experience. The guys that run that place and their staff are very friendly.

So I was told about this place a year and a half ago. My friends and I checked it out and in the span of a year we must have gone back as a group..maybe 15 times and an additional 5-7 times individually. Ive worked in restaurants... I am European we understand food. This place has very simply put: 1.very good quality and home made ingredients 2. Great tasting food 3.great for social gatherings, first time dates and just about anything you want from a restaurant. The staff? Well let's put it this way... It's obvious that they actually live their job are very good at what they do the service is impeccable. It's the first restaurant I can actually say is my favourite restaurant (I'm 39) lost of restaurant experience

The actual nicest, most welcoming, and friendliest staff. Every dish that I've tried (over the years of going) has been amazing. Food is well priced for an higher end steakhouse/italian resto. They take time to show you their specialties, help with your decisions, come see you during and after the meal to ensure satisfaction, etc... and it's a bring your own wine, so HUGE bonus.

Honestly, I'm not sure how to feel about this restaurant. We went out of our way to get to the restaurant, based on the reviews. It certainly wasn't terrible, but fell well short of our expectations and we probably won't be back given the distance. The wait times for our main course was nearly an hour at 9:15 at night. Not acceptable for a restaurant that was nearly empty with pretty substantial prices. Food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Service subpar. Unless you're in the area, I'd probably go to Joe Beef or another similar venue.

Nice high end Italian cuisine ???????? It’s not about about the portions but the QUALITY. Hands down the best italien restaurant I’ve tried in LaSalle. Waiter was professional and explained us well the menu, Pricey but expect yet again Quality On your plate. Nice atmosphere reigns here .

When you go once and rate it 5 star it would be premature. It's about being 5 star every time you go. You guys do it well every time. Nothing more to say than , when are they going to bring the ratings to 6 star. Then you guys would be fairly rated. Great job 6 stars ???????????????????????? Service was attentive and entertaining. The food was delicious. We had a big group and lots of shareables. I got a filet for the main course and it was cooked perfectly. Left very full and happy - BYOB is a plus too.

The steaks which were served, were phenomenal and exquisite! The service and ambience were exceptional beyond words, especially our server John, who was welcoming, humorous and extremely attentative to providing advice on their cuisine! We were first timers, but will definitely be returning and those who are Steak Lovers, this is the Restaurant to go to! The Restaurant serves a variety of seafood and pasta, to meet the needs of a picky eater! Desserts are all homemade! :)

This is simply a 5 star restaurant. Food & Service were excellent, decor is beautiful. Bring your own wine restaurant, La Campagnola isn't loud. The restaurant was full and like other bring your own wine restaurants we actually enjoined our conversations because we could hear each other. Great for large groups, Highly suggest this restaurant

I celebrated my birthday here again. It's truly my favorite restaurant. The food is great, the ambiance is so nice and they always make you feel welcome. I love that I can bring my favorite wine with me. It makes it very affordable if you are a wine lover. Keep up the good work!!!!

Food was extremely delicious. My pasta plate was huge. I don't recommend the lasagna, it's okay but its over priced at 27 for a little piece. This place has the best calamari I've ever had. It wasn't over cooked. I didn't have to struggle every time I took a bite. It was perfectly cooked, soft, plush and delicious. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Met the owner. Very nice guy.

I celebrated my PhD last night in this fine place. I am glad to say that we passed a tremendous evening and the place was unquestionably the reason for that fruitful evening. I can't express how happy i am with this place! It's definitely the best food and service! The servers were super welcoming and they make us feel like home, they would answer every question with a smile on their face, they all speak english and french (some of them speak italian too), when the food got here we were amazed(i left some photos down here) the food was delicious! we ordered a steak that was the best i've ever tasted, hand made gnocchi that was spectacular and a spaggethi on a lemon sauce.For desert we ordered crème brûlé that was on point! and a plate of cannoli(it came with 3 delicious cannoli). Im extreamly thankfull for this experience, we are for sure coming back and would 100% recommend this place!(it is a little bit expensive but definitely worth it :)

Our group of 12 went for dinner on a Friday night. Looking back, I firmly believe this was the best meal of my life. When I say meal, I'm not singling out the food (although the food was stellar), I'm referencing the experience as a whole. Managing a group of 12 rowdy Americans on a Friday night is no easy task. And yet, our dinner couldn't have been more carefree, tasty, enjoyable, and seamless. Our server, Kevin, was absolutely outstanding. We based our meal solely on his recommendations and he knocked it out of the park. This dinner was the first event of our vacation in Montreal. La Campagnola properly set the stage for a great weekend and was a highlight of the trip. Thank you Kevin!

Where to start...... This is our go to spot, the food is always fantastic whether pasta or carne dishes. Bring your own wine is always perfect to suit your pallet. Service is definitely the strong point of this restaurant, from the bus boys, waiters, staff and owner they all make you feel like familia. Been going for years, sure to continue for years. 5 stars for us

This place is a diamond in the rough. You would never know it was here unless you heard from someone to go or randomly found it. There are lots of good steaks here, special menu on Wednesday and Thursday that is 5-6 course meals for a group of four or more. The service was excellent, authentic and loud for a family owned restaurant. I would recommend it again, the prices are a little bit expensive for not a white table clothe experience. It is bring your own wine as well.

I had some guests from out of town. I made sure to serve them something special. I placed an order from this restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent, the service was top notch. I offered them a generous tip but they refused it. They helped load the food in my car. I am impressed and I would definitely return again

What a pleasant surprise! We had the opportunity to meet Dino (one of the owners) and his passion and energy for what he has created in La Campagnola was contagious and refreshing after a long hard day`s work. That passion and energy is seamlessly nurtured and adopted by the staff. They took great care of us and helped us make wonderful choices for a memorable dinner. The Carpaccio in a salted truffle oil is still lingering in my mouth and in my brain! A must-try! The homemade gnocchi stuffed with 3-types of mushrooms in that gorgonzola sauce is absolutely delicious!! Thank you and your staff for making us feel so welcome. See you soon!

Just WOW. Part if just a handful of bring your own wines in Montreal that take it to the next level. This place might just be the leader in this market. With fresh, handmade daily products in a wide variety of presentations and flavors, I almost hope no one reads this as I don't want to have to book 6 months ahead. Very impressive!

What a lovely discovery, this restaurant. You can't tell from the outside but it's prettily renovated, with a great menu and flawless service. The staff is super friendly and inviting, the food is delicious. We moved an hour away and my husband and I made it a point to come back to this restaurant for a date because we enjoyed it so much.

It's kinda weird how such a tasty restaurant is in the middle of nowhere. All their seafood is exquisite, of a higher class than seafood in the cafeteria. You'll know what I mean when you taste their fried calamari or jumbo shrimp. Maybe it's the seasoning. The pizza is average, but the steak is pretty good quality. There's free bread, ham, butter, and paprika butter. Oh, bring your own wine.

Classic and comforting Italian. Generous portions, good food & ok service. The only problem is the acoustics & ambience. Very loud from all the patrons chattering, we couldn’t hear each other. We arrived after 8:30 and even after 10:30 with the restaurant partially full, it still was very loud. Nice entrance overlooking the kitchen area and service area. But minimal decor in the dining area (seem as an afterthought) with wood tables and chairs that are not so comfortable.

I was visiting Montreal, and my friend Carmen recommended that we have dinner at her favourite restaurant. I LOVED this restaurant. I'm a foodie and have dined at many Italian restaurants, and this was wonderful. The food was beautifully plated and delicious. I especially loved the buffalo mozzarella appetizer. It had so many different layers of flavour, peaches, walnuts, honey, truffle oil, balsamic, arugula...salty, sweet, crunchy, tender.... The aged steak was excellent. They served it with a side of spices and salts....including truffle salt...the warm bread was served with 2 kinds of flavoured butter. They went the extra mile to make it a wonderful experience not just gourmet wise, but also in service. At one point owner Dino came and sat with us at our table to chat about the food and the history of this family run restaurant. The waiters where so attentive, and kept asking us if we need something, By the time we left we felt we had a connection with everyone in there. I left very happy....and to me thats what eating out should be about...spending quality time with loved ones, eating wonderful food in an a welcoming and friendly environment, and leaving HAPPY.

Came here with a group from my office for a Holiday get together. Food was delicious! We had a mix of appetizers which were all very tasty. For my main, I had the lamb served with pasta alio olio. The lamb was so tender and was prepared perfectly. The alio olio was so tasty too. The whole table enjoyed their meal. Dessert was delicious as well, I had crispelli which was two doughy rolls with chocolate sauce on top, just yummy. Suggest advanced reservations because this place is very busy. Would highly recommend ????

We were there last night after 2 years of not being able to go (Pandemic), The place was looking good, the service as usual was out of this world but we were totally disappointed with our meal. It used to be amazing food but last night was not worth the money we paid for. I was told they could not change the pasta (from spaghettini to penne with my chosen sauce) as they were understaffed and all newbies in the kitchen. So I changed my choice and ordered Lasagna it was normal nothing spectacular as far as taste goes and my husbands pizza was quite sad (they had great presentation for it on a wood board) but looked like a frozen one.....! The other couple we were with, were as equally disappointed . I'm not sure what happened to this wonderful place but I can assure you we will not be going back soon. Sad very sad as it was one of our to go places !!

The food is great and the fact that you can bring your own wine makes it even better! Easy parking, great place and amazing food to spend your evening! However, it was a bit overpriced.

Favorite restaurant hands down. Been there 4 times in about 5 years, waiter still remembers me. EDIT (couple years after first post) : Been there for my birthday this month and amidst everything happening, service was even better than I remembered. My waiter ran after me as I was about to leave to bring back my forgotten S20+. Love the place even more, 10 ???? for me. Also, for those who don't know, everything is homemade from the bread to the pasta. If you want fast food, you go to fast food, if you want something that was prepared from scratch with quality above and beyond, you go to La Campagnola
