I've been looking for a place to replace Cora. I had spotted this place a while back, but convincing my fiancee to let go of Corazilla was not easy. I first when with my best friend for brunch during the holidays. Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The tables have space between them to walk between them without sticking your butt into people's food. The portions are not oversized, just the right portions - which can seem a bit small when you are used to the leisurely extravagance of corporate places. The fruits were fresh, the bread was good, and the potatoes were crisp. Creton and real mapple syrups are included in the price. The second time, I took my fiancee after praising the place. She took a breakfast and loved it. I've tried one of their lunches - the fish and chips. Served with golden scrips oven fries and a salad, the plate was very good and plentiful!! I definitely recommend if you want a quieter place to brunch with your friends or family :)

We had come here for the first time to have breakfast after leaving another restaurant for being absolutely horrible and we were more than pleasantly surprised. The food was delivered fast and the service was excellent. First off, The food was GREAT. Secondly, The waiter who served us was literally so nice and welcoming we fist bumped him on the way out and came back the very nice day delighted to see him again. Will definitely be back!

One of the better breakfast places I've been to. The staff are friendly, the food is great. One of the charming aspects that they have is they place a insulated pitcher of coffee on your table so you don't have to wait for refills. Only downside is sometimes extras can be a little pricey.

Food was good. When looking at the menu it looks like they really like their custard. Maybe 90% of the menu has custard served with it. Maybe it comes on the side but I didn't want to chance it as I'm not a fan of custard at all so I ordered in an a la carte fashion.

Main problem i had with this place is having to ask 3 times over the span of 44 mins to get my bill and pay, it took me getting up and showing i would leave to finally get the bill. I wanted to ditch Cora, and found this little gem. I've gone 5 times since the New Year when I tried them! Excellent food, served warm and fresh. Staff is not overwhelmed, keeping them happy and attentive. Their pricing is excellent - their biggest breakfast is 13$. They have a little lunch section if you don't feel like having breakfast. Those meals are also quite good!

I've ordered breakfast here two days in a row on Uber Eats because my stove is out, and I don't usually leave reviews because I never thought that they really made a difference, but this morning with my meal I received an adorable little note attached saying that I hoped I enjoyed the paper bag packaging (the plastic bag packaging from the day before I rated as unsustainable). Weird place, food is good. The staff is kinda weird, 1 of the male staff stopped a older man from entering because the policy said that they could not allow people in without ID and double vaccine proof. The older man had vaccine papers but no ID and one of the female staff argued with the male staff that it was fine. Then I witnessed another younger man be denied entry because he had 2 doses but one of the 2 doses were recently received.( at the time, government gave a 2 week grace period to allow citizens and restaurants to ease into the passport system) the female employee argued with the young man saying he could not enter because his second dose was too recent, though he had ID and there was the government grave period in effect.

Apparently you have to specify what a pancake is. I asked for a blueberry pancake and i got a crepe with blueberries on top.. went back because they offered me a pancake. When I got it it was a massive pancake and it was pretty bad.. appreciate the hospitality though.

I've been there 5 or 6 time's in the past because it was a short distance from where I live! The food is ok and the service as well but they're way to expensive??? Chez Cora was to expensive and there food is better at least! Now I walk futher to Micheal's for my breakfast, and there food is just as good and they have an early bird special at $6,99 until 10h00 am and not 8h00 am, now that's what I call a good deal! It's costs around $20 to $25 to eat in this place, god for that price i could have a culinary experience and eat à L'avenue on Notre dame street in St-Henri where they D-licious breakfasts are to die for Sorry Coco Choco but you have lost a customer for good! :(

im not a person to write a bad review but the waitress and the manager were very disrespectful. My girl friend odered a omelette which didnt say anything with having meat in it because she is a vegetarian. she got the plate and there was meat ... we ask the waitress to see the menu again and she show it and my girlfriend told her about the meat the waitress said sorry . after 5 min later the waitress ask if she want to change we said okay . the waitress never said there would be an extra charge .So after the meal with the slow service plus there was only us in the restaurant we asked for the bill . We got the bill and she charged us 8 dollars extra on top of the bill . we asked the waitress about the extra charge and she said it was the omelette so we complained to here about it and she was very disrespectful . i asked her to get the manager and it took her about 10 min fighting with us .so the manager lady came out all mad with the menu and tell me if everyone doesn't wanna pay 8 dollars for her mistake she would be lossing money so i told her for 8 dollars u wanna loss customers she didnt care i would never go back here ever fighting over an egg ..

Ordered pancakes with asperagus,ham and Swiss cheese with cappuccino, the order was super long to arrive and when it did I was brought without asperagus, and when I told them it was missing the asperagus, they brought me a plate with the asperagus. Told them it was unacceptable so I got a new plate. My husband's bfast had burnt toast on one side and not even toasted on the other side. When the bill came, price was wrong, I had enough so asked to see the manager but was told no manager was there. This use to be my favorite spot, not anymore!!

When we ask for english menus the waitress told us they only had 3 and she didn't know where they are and she just spoke french to us. Then it was a big discussion with another waitress to serve us as we spoke english. Maybe next time the staff should go in private to talk and not in the area where people are sitting.
