Can I (and my friends too) give them less than 1 star?? OK being fair, I am going to give them one star... and it's only for the management efforts to save the situation. My friends and I have had such a bad experience at this place tonight. No, this is not our first time there. But I guess this is what they say 'it takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel'...Be the judge: getting at the table $550 (for a VERY POOR service), one petite & delicate waitress with a tear in her voice was claiming not having enough tips for the order of $480 . Poor thing ! No problem,we gave her $20 more to the total of $570. But she was not happy again ! Ok, we said give us back our money and the bill and call your manager. She said NO, she took our money and the bill and RUN AWAY !! Long story short, we got some money back from the management, but the aftertaste remains...

This place has it all, not your average bar.They also serve good food and atmosphere is like in a downtown bar with live music. Modern inside decor, lots of big screen TV to watch your favorite sports event with many beer or alcohol as well to be chosen from. Went there for any occasions and truly was never disappointed. They serve delicious breakfasts. Nice outdoor terrasse ! Great service by the waitresses, prices for alcohol and food are decent and they’re organizing live events during the week, make sure to ask. Hands down the best Bar in Lasalle.Keep it up guys.

The place is packed on Sunday. They have breakfast meun and lunch meun to choose when we were there at 1230pm. The portion of it is huge. They have a lot of seats. BEST MEAL EVER !!! I enjoyed my fantastic lunch so much. The pizza is a must order, the salads are divine and the desserts are extremely delicious. The chef prepared everything wonderfully. Staff are courteous and attentive. Dom made sure we were treated like royalty and for that BDR is a definite visit when in LaSalle. This place has been around for 29 years for a reason. Cheers to 29 more with a glass of Mill St organic beer.

BDR is a great neighbourhood Resto-Pub. Service is fast and friendly and the food is very good. We hosted a retirement party at BDR in September and everything was great. 100 rowdy firefighters couldn’t rattle the staff! It’s been a fixture in LaSalle for over 30 years and is a family run business. We often stop in when our son has a hockey game in LaSalle. Definitely worth a visit!

Wow! I ordered through Foodora and would first of all like to say that the service was amazing, arrived around 20 mins before the indicated time. I was drawn to the restaurant because I've been looking for a good alternative to traditional pork ribs, so I ordered the bass chipotle beef ribs, along with the beer-battered onion rings. The ribs were absolutely lovely, just the right amount of spiciness, and cooked to perfection. Carrots and beans were nice and simple, and the mashed potatoes was a good choice to go with the meal. The onion rings tasted lovely and were just the right balance of crunchiness! 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

They've been in business since 1990. I've been meaning to go check out some of their weekly promo specials, only available on that specific day of the week. On Mondays it's the Burger Special where for $9.95 you get a choice of Southern Comfort, Mexicana or 3 cheese and Portobello burgers. Wanting something not too spicy, I chose the latter. It was only available after 5 PM, so I came that evening in spite of the rain and the place was almost empty. Slow evening. Very spacious interior with a well-lit ambience and wall-to-wall TV screens showing the local sports channels. It did take a while before I got served, but a friend I bumped into there assured me the waitresses are normally more attentive. The one who served me said I had to buy a soft drink with my burger, but I politely but firmly refused. A short time later, my meal arrived. Served in a steel dish, I had a small serving of coleslaw, a generous portion of tender fries and a burger with 3 kinds of melted cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and portobello mushrooms on a juicy beef patty with their signature Budweiser mayonnaise. Definitely one of the more memorable burgers I've had, on par with Burger de Ville. Like all bars, the place is open till 3 AM but the kitchen closes at midnight (1 AM on weekends). A scan of their booze list shows that prices do go up after 6 PM, so come in earlier if you want a better deal. On a more recent occasion I came in to try one of their lunch specials, but since since lunch is no longer served after 3:00PM, I opted for one of their evening specials instead, but the waitress insisted that I needed to buy a beverage to go with the meal. Nowhere on the menu was this written that lunch or evening specials require a beverage, with two exceptions clearly stated next to those specific items. After pointing this out she actually got mad at me and took back the menu. A talk with the manager had him siding with her saying that he didn't want to get them mad at him. Excuse me? Can't believe this bad attitude and that they were willing to lose a $15.00 sale plus tax and tip because I won't buy a $2.00 that wasn't part of the meal. It's not like the place was packed and that they could afford to blow off paying customers for no reason; the place was more than half empty. I took my business elsewhere that day. On my next visit one of their lunch specials (the Cedar Plank Salmon) didn't quite agree with me and the management refused to address the issue. I've decided I'm sticking to the burgers. As a regular, I felt very disappointed at this lack of accountability and to be fair, I added my own customized carry out option to their all-you-can-eat roast beef buffet (until I got busted), so I guess you can say we're even. Jokes aside, unless you actually throw up on the spot and not some place they can't see, don't expect the management to take responsibility and do anything about it. Also, if they try to make you order a beverage with your meal, unless the printed menu explicitly states this, you can say no and insist on being served your meal your way. One last thing, always ask for a loyalty card wherever you go and make sure to get it stamped with every visit. They never offered me one and I'm sure I requested one before and was told that they didn't have one, and only after seeing another customer get their card stamped did I insist on one on the spot and getting my past purchases stamped (those meals add up!).

A LaSalle institution, it's incredible how they have managed to keep reinventing themselves to keep people coming in. The food is wholesome but quite middle of the road. Their prices have quite the range, lots of value meals and then they also have a few higher end items, the Tomahawk steak is an example. Good for groups, often a gathering place for after sports. Lots of big screens for watching the game.

Their early 6AM breakfast is nice, but my last visit cost me $25 for 2 of us. That's a little much for 2 average breakfasts, I think. However, the morning waitress gives absolutely great service! For other meals, the only food item I can recommend are their pizzas, if you are a fan of thinner crust pizzas; everything else has been a disappointment. They do have a nice assortments of beer & draft, though. If you are a sports fan (I am not) they always have a good crowd for big games. They also support various community events.

Horrible experience! We were a party of 21 adults and 3 toddlers. Our reservations were for 1pm. The waitress would take a table's drinks order, and do nothing else until the drinks were ready. It was a surprise party, we were all there, except the guest of honour by 12:50. The guest arrived at 1:15. We were waiting and waiting and waiting, at 2:30, the waitress comes over to tell us that they had a 10am group, an 11am group and us, the 11am group showed up at 1:15 and since their reservations was before us, they decided to serve them first, as if this was a reasonable and acceptable excuse. Our dishes, cutlery, and glasses were dirty. The waitress smiled and said "the kitchen is dark!" My food was cold, not luke warm, not room temperature. COLD! Horrible, horrible, horrible experience!!! Never again! It gets one star because I had to in order to click post. They owe me a star. Or two!

I have only been a few times, however always had a good time. There is such a large choice of food on the menu, which is great. Good place to watch a game/match as there is always a fun ambiance and lots of people. Just make sure to arrive early enough as it does tend to fill up of there is an event. The serve tends to sometimes be a bit slow, however this was when it was very busy so its understandable.

I have ordered from them a couple of times, and the pizzas were always amazing. However, last night I ordered 1 small pepperoni pizza with some smoked meat on it, and I asked for a thick crust. I also ordered a small vegetarian pizza for my wife. I requested thin crust for that one. Well the pizzas were horrible. First off, I did not get my requested thick crust, and my wife's pizza did not have thin crust. Both were regular crust. Both pizzas had way too much cheese on them, and the cheese was not even cooked all the way. Very disappointed. Highly doubt that I will order from them again.

Favorite restaurant in LaSalle. I stopped in last night with my girlfriend for dinner and we ended up staying until almost last call. The staff and bar maids where very friendly and joking with us all night, and the band was very entertaining. We shared some chicken wings which are always great, and tried the new beer inspired menu items. So I have to change my review from one year ago. We have been going to BDR for over 13 years. And well our last 2 visits were horrible. This morning we went for breakfast before 9:30. There was max 15-20 people and and 2 waitresses. So we get there we sit, we order. Then a nice mother daughter come sit close to us. The waitress starts talking to them,ask if it is as usual. Anyway no biggy, it's nice to be recognized and treated like more than a customer. Where I have a problem, is that they were served before us, and they had time to finish and their plates taken away before we were served.So we say well maybe since my bf ordered a burger this is why it is taking so long. I dont know! So we finally get our food and its cold, like not even been under the heat lamp cold. The burger was asked for well-done and it was medium rare. The eggs were overcooked and cold. The potatoes were cold and tasteless. Paying almost 40$ for cold breakfast is unacceptable and disappointing. This is the second time this happens to us.I would be more inclined to understand if the restaurant would've been packed and short staffed but this really was not the case. By the time we paid there was 3 waitress and maybe 10 more people had came in... Don't get me wrong, I get it that we might not be regulars and all but we still go there quite often. And we have been going for over 13 years. I find it sad because we use to love going there, the food was good and everyone was well taken care of. Now it is all about who you know or how many times a week you go.

Try to avoid this location, I went yesterday with my mom and dad . The service was slow, the club sandwich my 87 year old mother had , the bread looked like old bread from another order, the chicken was dry and the sandwich looked like it was dropped. The fries were cold and cooked in old oil. The only good that came out of this , my dad and I had a hamburger each, it was acceptable and we shared it with my mom. But our fries were old and very dark as well. But the worst part is no one asked if we were vaccinated and 80% were not using mask.

I have gone for brunch and lunch at the a Brasserie it's good, fast, and priced well. There hot chocolate is always just what I need! It's very traditional Quebec bar, big menu, Loto games, a million tvs. They have specials eat night. And a big big bar. It's perfect before going to the movies or after.

Went there for their Wednesday wing special,$.70 per wing. Well worth the money, lots of meat on. Had French Fries, sorry waste of money, and Beer, well 3 beer cost more than 30 wings and fries. So take home the wings and have beer cold in the fridge

GREAT!!! Was there for dinner with my wife and another friend. The meals there are large portions and fills you up leaving you full. This is not the 1st time we've been here. Service is a little on the slow side, but once served, it is worth it. I would give this place a 4 star rating and highly recommend it to anyone. Any leftovers afterwards on plates ( I would recommend you take it home.)

Service was slow. Food was not great. Was expensive for a brasserie. Atmosphere was nice.Could not find where to respond to your response so I am adding to my review. I was there Wednesday 4 2018 with my family of 5. I have been there to eat many times as I live in Lasalle this was the first time I was not pleased so yes not to worry we will be back again. My son had the meat lovers pouring. Bacon was white and way to many cheap pepperoni. My other son had the ribs. They were rubbery and badly under cooked. Sorry to say the waitress seemed to be overwhelmed that day. My daughter had the tacos. Could not find any cheese anywhere. My wife had the salmon and a Stella not bad. My burger was good. The BDR platter was good except for the egg rolls they where cheap. But like I said I eat often and will continue to be a client of yours. But my next visit can't be bad because then I will stop.

It is a real shame to see local customers bashing an institution that has been in place for so many years. If you have a problem with the food, don't be a coward, speak to the waitress and ask for another dish. Coming to Google to complain is so pathetic after what the restaurants have gone through in the last (almost) 2 years. Have some compassion and respect for those still standing. Support your local restaurants before this country/city looks like Venezuela! Brasserie des Rapides has delicious food and great vibes especially during sporting nights! Food is ok. Great menu selection. Our service experience however was not so good :( the waitress clearly expressed her annoyance with my fruit allergy and proceeded to tell me to forget about the fruit. Refused to offer an alternative. Brought cups to the table by hanging out her arm over my head sayin "tien" to my sister in law in front of me. I was so shocked at the service. The waitress seemed to be upset or having a bad day. Poor girl, but it wasnt a pleasant brunching experience for us.
