Had a great experience with Strykerz' food and service. Keeping in mind the current health concerns, I had ordered from a delivery service. As something had gone wrong with our delivery, Strykerz' staff had still prepared the food for the appropriate time, then got in touch with me to describe the issue. They then offered to have their staff deliver the meal instead! I was pleasantly shocked as they had no responsibility to do this! The food was also delicious and still fresh. Amazing fish sandwich and butter chicken meals. All around great quality and service. Really appreciate them going out of their way! When we can dine in the restaurant itself, we will be sure to leave a great tip! Thanks again!!

A solid choice for any occasion. The food is your standard pub fare but done up to a much higher standard than what most places offer. The beer list slowly rotates through a variety of solid local craft beers but they also offer the macro brews and great cocktails. Honestly doesn't look like much from the road, but has a very interior.

The food was great! I recommend the Buffalo sammich. service was quick which I liked. However the waitress removed her mask many times to talk to her "Friend's", I mentioned that she can't be removing her mask when jumping tables but she claimed it was fine because she knows them. So that was rude and not following proper covid measures that have been set in place. Also my table wasn't wiped down before I was seated there was still wet water rings from the previous guest on the table.

I went today for lunch with my daughter and had the wing special ($0.89). They looked good but tasted horrible. I think the sauce went bad or something and there was way too much breading on them. Instead of offering to replace or remove the wings, the waitress only said she’d charge me $1 to take them home. I said I didn’t enjoy them and to go ahead and throw them out. But yet they were on the bill and I paid for wings I didn’t eat. Just thought that was bad service.

I enjoy supporting local family owned businesses, and this place is no exception. The family is great to deal with, and the food is REAL! Which makes everything taste that much more scrumptious. I am also a vegetarian, making this restaurant even more appealing - there are not a lot of restaurants that actually offer vegetarian meals, let alone good ones. I highly suggest to anyone who has not tried this place to go check it out (before construction starts on that end of Ottawa :/ It will quickly become one of your favorites to go to. Good food, different choices of brews on tap, and friendly people. What's not to like?

I have gone to Strykerz many times with Family and Friends. We have never been disappointed by our food, service or atmosphere. The best stop before attending any Kitchener Memorial Auditorium function hands down. Their menu is constantly having new features that keep you inspired with different food choices as well as having the staple menu options. My personal favourite is the Ring of fire burger with falafel and sweet potato fries and a side of hot sauce. Maybe if enough people order it that way I will get my own burger named after me. Hey a man can dream cant he? Anyway if you are in the area and looking for a great place to eat you need to stop in here. You will be glad you did.

Liquor license and that of a female server that completly over served a father with 3 young children should be questioned and revisited. As servers we are trained to abide by our smart serves and taught never to over serve. nevermind to over serve to someone with 3 young children with him. this will all be called into question as it falls upon the server and the liquor license holder. Completly disgusted this restaurant doesn't follow smart serve rules and should be shut down but hopefully this is a start before someone gets seriously hurt.

STRYKERZ is one of our go tos. Excelent reasonably priced food. The servers are always so friendly and helpful. Sometimes they are completely slammed and those girls work so hard with big smiles. The staff and kitchen are always more than happy to facilitate my requests to make things vegitarian/vegan. It was the last place we went before the whole Covid thing started and went and grabbed takeout last night for the first time. They have an excellent set up for take out and navigating social distancing. 100% recomend!

I was at a friend's last week and we went to strykerZ to have dinner on the patio. I asked if i had to put a mask on to enter the restaurant to use the washroom and said im exempt due to medical. The waitress was very rude said no you cant enter without a mask and medical means nothing its the owners rules. I was under the belief that regardless of the laws that MEDICAL exemptions were to stand .. so what exactly are my rights??? ANSWER: You can call the human rights of ontario against the restaurant and if your need to go to the washroom is super urgent, then you could possibly have the store owner arrested for violating section 245 of the criminal code because they're forcing you to suffocate in order to use the washroom.

Today was our second visit here. Service was friendly and pretty decent, besides her completly forgetting we ordered Antojitos. We were in good spirits, until my boyfriend bit into his raw chicken wings. The Manager/Chef came out to speak to us and was outright ignorant and rude. He explained that because it was dark meat, it was totally okay for it to still be bloody. Because of his attitude and how disrespectful he was, we won't be returning.

This place is way better than I expected. Good food, served hot, and friendly staff. We first came in on a whim 2 yrs ago, not expecting much. I pre judged strykerz based on the name, logo and location. I was surprised to find good food and beer selection. Everything was delicious. We have returned about 12 times and quality is consistent every time. Always hot and properly cooked. Never dry or bland. The owners clearly care about things being done right. The word that comes to mind is integrity. Nothing amazing except doing what you hope for from any restaurant or business - you feel like you got what you paid for. Prices are not as cheap as some competitors but I always feel good about paying. I think they know how to follow through because they understand how much to charge. I am happy to keep supporting such a well run business. And anyway, they have some good specials depending on the night. Oh and live entertainment some nights...

Understand that my rating of poor is based on a current customer service experience as detailed below... First, you will find my email to the manager of the establishment, and afterwards his response to the situation. My email: Hello, We have eaten at your establishment several times, and always thought the owners Mike and Rose were gracious, kind, cared greatly about customer service, and the food has been very good. I am writing to bring to your attention what I would consider a serious flaw in customer service presented by one of your staff members last night, November 14, 2018. It was wing night. There were 3 of us, and as avid wing fans, we all ordered wings and beer, along with onion rings. My average consumption of wings is in the 15 to 20 range, but since these were touted as extra large, I, as well as both of my companions, only ordered 10 each to be conservative and then we would decide afterwards if we wanted more. As we ate, 2 of us realized we would not be able to finish all of the wings without feeling uncomfortable. I had 4 remaining, and my friend had 3 remaining. The other lad finished his order. This, is where things took a downturn. Our server was (for this review I will refer to her as X). When we asked politely for a take out container, she said matter-of-factly that we would have to pay for a take out container. I was somewhat taken back and said “Why is that?” Then she said “well, it’s to prevent cheapskates from coming in and ordering the special and taking lots home”. Well, that made everyone, including the ladies gasp in disbelief that she actually just said that to a paying customer. I looked down at my 4 wings, and looked up at her and asked, do I look like one of those persons to you? She didn’t reply. Then I said “Surely you are permitted to use discretion when it is obvious I’m not trying to take advantage of your restaurant, I only ordered 10 wings? She said "sorry, that’s just our policy". Then I said, I’ll tell you what, why don’t you bring us a container, and I will stop in tomorrow to personally ask the owner if this is the true manner in which this policy was to be implemented. If so, I will gladly pay him the money for the container, but will likely never come back, as I feel that this is such a petty policy that it affects my view of the establishment as a whole. The 2 gals at the other table spoke up and said they had the same issue with X the last time they were in, and felt the policy was unfair when ordering a normal portion of food. That is when X snapped at the 2 gals: “If you don’t like our policy, then why do you come back????” Everyone was stunned she said that, and there was about 5 seconds of silence. I said to X: “I have been a customer service liaison for my entire life, and couldn’t imagine ever treating a customer that way”, and I then quietly asked X if she could just bring us our bills, and we would be on our way. I am very saddened by this experience, and hope that this is not the kind of behaviour you condone from your staff. Thank you, Steve. Response email: Hey Steve, Thanks for your inquiry. As per my server saying our policy to charge for takeouts that is 100% accurate. We at Strykerz charge for takeouts on our FOOD SPECIALS. This is not there to prevent people from over ordering but to adjust our food cost for when you take extra food home at a generously discounted rate. As per what my server said to you and the 2 ladies I will not touch on that. If you would have noticed with 10 wings and a takeout included your cost was $10.40. The actual cost of our pound of wings (8 wings) is $14.00. I hope this shows you that it still is a very good deal for you to eat 6 wings and take 4 home. I understand this is shocking but most restaurants nowadays do charge for you to take discounted food home. I'm sorry your experience ended the way that it did. Regards, Jeremy

Wings are Great! Edit ... They have an assortment of hot/spicy flavours, ranging from mild to ????, and if you're the type of person who enjoys 'hotness extreme' let them know and they'll whip up a batch of something special for you. Aside from the above mentioned they have a selection of other flavours as well. 2 of my personal go-to favourites, both are dry with a crunchy outer, are 'Maple Bacon' and 'Mango Habanaro'. Also please keep in mind that the actual wing itself is available in 2 different sizes (I'm not referring to the serving size and # of wings within but rather, I'm talking about, the size of the individual wing). They have 1) A avg' typical size wing and 2) A larger not so typical size wing. I've always ordered and had the larger ones so I can't say for sure whether the flavours I've spoken to are available in the normal sized wings so you may wish to enquire when ordering. The indoor seating area isn't terribly big so if you aim to arrive with a # of people requiring more than 1 table you may wish to call ahead and see if u can make a reservation. Enjoy! ????

We visit about once a week. We have also ordered takeout before they opened up again. Everything you order is hot, fresh and delicious! The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. They are open now with indoor seating plus a covered patio. Highly recommended! Must try!

Wednesday night wing special is excellent - try the mango habanero dry rub. Their calamari is also very delicious and they have a good selection of beer. We've always had great service here.
