have had dinner at the restaurant of this Inn multiple times since I moved here and was impressed by the service, location view (magnificent lake view), and of course the food. I don't release stars very often but this restaurant has a way to go for the residents of the area. keep up the great work!!!

I have been to this iconic spot many times for too little time. The food is superior to many much more expensive restaurants. Their ribbon chips are not to be missed. Anyone who enjoys a draught beer will be gobsmacked at the wide selection of beers to sample. Any trip on Hwy 11 that allows time to stop for a refreshing experience in dining is worthwhile.

Such a disappointing experience .. we always drive by this place and so we were excited to try it . My husband , myself and son decide to order chicken fingers and poutine my son and I shared .. The bill is as outrages How can these people charge an additional $9 to upgrade fries to a poutine !!!! Our bill was $58 !!! And the food wasn’t even close to great

Won't be going out there. Called to see what time they serve breakfast till. Got my answer, but had another question to ask and lady hung up on me. How rude! This reveiw was from a couple years ago. Just signed into Google account and seen this wasnt posted. But I did however go out there this evening and it was a horrible experience. When arriving the waitress wasn't very pleasant. I had my 23 month old daughter with me. After asking for a high chair for her we waited forever to get the high chair. When the high chair came it was dirty and needed to be wiped down. After requesting for it to be wiped the waitress took her sweet time coming back with a clothe to wipe it. Keep in mind it wasn't even busy. A children's menu wasn't offered so I just ordered my daughter the chowder soup. Which I often order her soup to eat when we go out. The soup came and there was a chip out of the side of the ceramic bowl so I requested a new one. Who knows where that chipped off. Could have been in her soup for all I know. I HAVNT EVEN GOTTEN TO THE BAD PART YET! So the waitress brings a new bowl of soup. Like a mother I tasted her soup before feeding it to her! Thank God I did! IT WAS SPOILED ROTTEN! WORST TASTE I'VE EVER TASTED IN MY LIFE! I immediately spit it out into a napkin and almost vomited right there! Now can you imagine if I hadn't tasted it and I fed that to my daughter! She would have been deathly ill and a God damn law suit on there hands! My meal hadn't come yet. I ordered the fish and chips. What a joke! Two little tiny pieces of fish maybe the size of a small chicken finger. I ordered poutine style for my fries which they forgot. Had to send it back to get cheese curds and gravy. My meal was cold when it came to the table. Didn't matter much anyhow. My appetite was ruined after taking a spoonful of that soup. And my daughter walked out of there without eating supper! Never will I go there again. Please be careful. I still have a sour rotten taste in my mouth. It was horrific!

Unable to sit outside as most chairs were wet (on a beautiful night), very slow service, and waited for our food for over an hour. It’s unfortunate that we weren’t aware of the fact that they were understaffed until we had already waited close to an hour for our food, in a restaurant that wasn’t very busy. Thankfully the food was good.
