You can't miss KBC if you love beer and are in Kingston. With a pretty extensive menu and so many choices from local and International breweries I loved everything about the place.In short - The moment you step into the place you'll feel - KBC is a culture of Beer in itself. 6/5 for the ambience 6/5 for the Beer They even pride in some of the most niche crafts (A Beer Cocktail!! ????) Their House Cider Sangria won my heart! And if you want to go Bold and Cloudy with your choice of beer go with Double Dry Hopped IPA. It's a bit on the bitter side so not for the faint hearted. A large gulp and you'll feel it's texture ???? If you prefer smooth and crisp Beers which are not extremely bitter, try Short Hills East Coast and Outside Jokes Hazy Pale Ale. Rest assured you'll love whichever Beer you pick here ~Cheers ~BonAppetit

So I never rate anything 5 stars. Here’s why: 1) best veggie burger I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. And. I. Have. Looked. From Melbourne to Siem Reap; from Paris, France to Washington DC…that is the best veggie burger I’ve ever had. 2) Our server, Graham, was not just knowledgeable about everything on the menu( beers, food, all of it), He was genuinely kind and courteous, even when slammed with, shall we say, not altogether courteous customers. He took time to explain things to my kid and made them feel special without being obsequious. 3) The beer is really good. There are a lot of microbreweries with varying degrees of quality, but KBC has some very good product. I had the Godspeed and it was exactly what I wanted. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. If you’re COVID conscious, as we are, you’ll be encouraged by the attention paid to client and worker safety. Unobtrusive, but effective.

Had dinner with the family while visiting Kingston. Delicious meal. We ordered two appetizers and a kids meal and shared it among the 4 of us. Very pleased with the flavours and taste! Really enjoyed it everything.

A charming and authentic place with a cozy atmosphere. Some of the most delicious pub grub I've had! Highly recommend the maple garlic wings and the fish and chips. Great place to stop when visiting Kingston :)

Nice spot that is decorated for the holidays and very cute. Had an adult root beer that was pretty tasty & a cranberry apple cider that was delicious. Have heard good things about their food, so will be back to give it a try!

Kingston's oldest brewery doesn't disappoint. The White Tail Cream Ale is highly recommended. Had their fish and chips - one of the best in the city. The interior has lots of beer memorabilia that you can't resist looking around.

The food and service is excellent. The staff is courteous. Loved the atmosphere of the place, and truly loved the 'leg lamp'. The terrace is a nice place to sit if you enjoy eating outside. If you enjoy eating fish, you will love the salmon cakes.

Great service, the gentleman was very nice and friendly. He was kind to explain and answer the questions we had. The drink was spectacular. I’ve had food here before as well, it’s one of the better bar foods I’ve had. The atmosphere is great, a very unique set up with a cozy feeling.

Our first (and favourite) spot to eat and enjoy since Kingston opened up for outdoor eating. Our server was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious! I had fish with Caesar salad, my husband, the club sandwich with fries and a cider. We will definitely be back again!

Caesar salad was good I had enough dressing and Parmesan maybe a few less croutons. Club sandwich was good good proportions of everything that could have been a little bit more generous on the vegetables. French fries were very good as was the service

Sooooooo good. First off service is super fast. They took our orders right away and with minutes had the drinks. Ne t the food came within 6 minutes nice and fresh. Food was tasty and the portions were huge. I didn’t even finish my plate. Prices are also good. Overall easy five out of five.

I absolutely love the interior design of the restaurant. It is very attractive to visitors who are visiting the city. I came on a rainy day and was welcomed by very courteous staff. I was given the choice to sit anywhere in the restaurant and chose the prettiest little table right by the window. It was a very enjoyable meal as we ordered the BBQ feast platter. The slaw was my absolute favourite. Great service and food!

A good local brewery and pub located in a historical location of Kingston. Polished wooden interior gives a great representation of the history and age of the building. The dragon pale ale was a pleasant drink to enjoy. The KCB Club was quite filling and not done in the way most club sandwiches are done. Caesar salad was also pleasant. Enjoyable if you are looking for a nice bite to eat.

Certainly a very interesting bar the waiter was Graham very friendly interesting guy. Cider was really good and we had a vegan burger which was certainly very good very tasty and enjoyable a great all round experience. The atmosphere and how the staff interact with the customers are very friendly. Will certainly be going back there.

One of those places that really knocks the "pub food" out of the park - it's all delicious. Huge local beer selection, very friendly staff, reasonable prices, gorgeous location. It's hard to do a better pub experience than this.

The place is great. It's the just a block away from the harbour. It has nice seating inside with rockets painted on the ceiling and the patio is very calm and clean with nice texture. The menu is easy and suggestive. They do have a vegan options as well. The premium burger option is elite. They usually have off the menu special burger on the menu, you can look for the board for the sign or I am sure your server will guide you through it. You will visit for the first time and you will feel like you are a regular to the place, that friendly and genuine is the staff. Then you would like to visit again. If you're into beers and drinks. They brew their own beers which are a must-try. Otherwise, they have a huge collection to serve your taste buds.

Cool looking place, very unique. The house beers are great too. Service was deplorable. Waited about 1 1/4 hours to figure out our two salads and appetizer weren't going to be showing up tonight, or at all for that matter. Waiter completely ignored us during that time too and was only ever at our table three times in the nearly two hours we sat there. Asked for the bill and no food was even on it. We missed our 11pm dinner after a full day of driving and ended the night rather grumpy. Won't ever return, nor recommend.

We had a wonderful lunch here. Our waitress was very friendly and help. We tried a couple of different beers, they have 26 on top, and settled on some then we really liked. The food was delicious, though the salmon cakes were a little skimpy. the club sandwiches we're the best thing that we ordered, and the side salads were wonderful. We highly recommend this place and we'll come back if we are ever in Kingston again.

Fantastic gem of a place. The inside is filled with character and very nostalgic displays. But what you really go somewhere like this for us the beer and I must say it is freaking awesome!!! The IPA and the dark ale are both superb. Even if you don’t like Stout, try the dark ale, it is something special. Food was also good. It’s pub affair but I love that stuff. Must go if in town.

We ate dinner here on our last night of our honeymoon. The service was excellent, I love the fried chicken sandwich ( best I had in years). My husband had the 4 cheese and bacon mac and cheese. He enjoyed it and he share it with me, and it melts in your mouth, The beer was which is crafted there is also great. and they have cans of the different beer to go. Would be back to the brewery again on our next trip to Kingston.

I think the Kingston Brewing Company is a great place to go for a meal.The menu is somewhat unique, and also varied. The ambiance is super. The home brewed beer is available for purchase which adds to the uniqueness of the establishment. Staff are welcoming and are well trained. I would like to see more lower calorie options on the menu. The two patios are AWESOME.

Since the pandemic began I have not been able to truly enjoy bar conversations. KBC was definitely a true "at the bar banter" episode. I got to enjoy craft Ontario craft beer while getting to know locals, regulars, visitors like myself and the staff. Jess, the bartender the night I went, became an instant favourite of mine and others, she also has exceptional rapport with regulars. For the best craft beer list in Kingston and a chance to feel at ease, make sure to enter KBC.

One of the best places in the city for beer. They have their own beer as well as a great selection of Ontario craft beer. Cozy interior and a lovely little beer garden. Food is reliably good as well. Definitely one of my favourites.

So delicious!! It was quite busy when we went, so we say on the heated patio, but even with the crowds, protocols were strictly followed. I appreciated that our server said that the beer we wanted was currently only available in cans, so we were able to choose something else on draught. We had the Royale with Cheese, and its vegan counterpart, and they were both incredible.

Awesome beer selection from both in house and some select taps from various other local breweries. Take some beer to-go as well! I only had the nachos but they were great. The staff was also awesome. Can't wait to get back to explore more of the menu and maybe more of the beer selection.

Does not worth the money at all! We had three burgers with the worst quality you could imagine for about 50$! My kid's burger was a burnt peace of meat without any topping inside a piece of bread! All burgers smelled like burnt oil. Never go there again!

Not exactly a hidden gem because I think everyone knows how good it is. Even with masks and sanatizer the staff knew how to make sure we had as close to normal a lunch as we could. Great food. Great beer. Great courtyard. A top spot when in Kingston!

Great atmosphere with an awesome selection of brews and a small pub menu. Only downside is the menu doesn't show all of the types of beer offered, it's located on a chalk board and can be hard to read from a distance. We ended up just asking the server to bring us whatever his favorite was. It was a good selection. Would recommend.
