Such an amazing spot! Super cute and cozy patio and great service. The food is a mixture of Spanish and middle eastern cuisine. Every item we ordered had such a unique and fresh flavour, my husband and I were very impressed. Definitely glad we came here!

We decided to go to Kingston prior to a trip to PEC and we were so glad we did. From the moment you walked in you know this place is special. I had a pisco sour, I don’t drink however after a trip to Chile I became hooked on them and this place has one of the best I’ve had so far. The dishes were all excellent but the highlight was the Tuna Tatake. This place is a gem! We live in Toronto and wish this place was nearby but the charm of the place is the building and the location - Toronto has destroyed older buildings therefore destroying the charm places like this bring.

Terrible experience! Came here for my boyfriend’s birthday. I was expecting a good experience judging by the menu and all the reviews online. We were utterly disappointed! We ordered about 6 dishes, hoping all were going to come out at the same time and have ourselves a feast of flavour, but that wasn’t the case. Instead we sat there and waited about 20 minutes for the first tiny tapa to come out. Flavour was great and all, however it turned bitter after we watched the people sitting next to us, who arrived 10 minutes after us, get all their food all at once before we received our second tapa. After waiting another 20 minutes while watching the servers and bartender cackle being on their phones, we decided to cancel the rest of the food. Instead of saving face, the bartender decided to go “check” on the food and came back with a cold steak and said the order couldn’t be “cancelled”. To sum it all up: terrible service, tiny portions, cold steaks and cackling staff. Never coming back and definitely never recommending to family or friends. Ruining your significant other’s birthday dinner is unforgivable!

Really enjoyed this spot. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which are modern and nicely designed. Our server was very friendly and sparked up a lot of conversation. She also explained the menu to us and gave us quite a few recommendations. The menu is all shared tapas with a fusion of Arabic and Latin foods. Between 3 people we got 6 tapas and 2 desserts and were full by the end. Our favourite tapas were the lamb and the kibbeh- definitely must tries! We will most likely return here on our next visit to Kingston.

Amazing service and amazing food! Really a one of a kind experience. Dishes are truly fusion, with flavours from all over the world (mostly Middle East, Caribbean, Europe, South America, Asia). 100% worth the price. I loved the small plates, because everyone could try the dish at once and comment together. Each person should choose about two plates, for it to be enough food. Reservation was easy to make and patio was very nice and comfortable. Although we sat outside, the inside of the restaurant is beautiful and very clean.

Excellent tapas joint! Had a great lunch for 4 on the patio. Great service. Pleasant waitstaff. All dishes we ordered were excellent. -Meat and cheese board (2meat, 2 cheese) the chorizo is very tasty, avacado tartare, fatoush salad (excellent), scallops x 2(well cooked, flavorful, a fave!), Turkish ravioli, the pastry came last (good pastry and filling, just bland for my taste except the tapenade, but others at lunch quite liked it!). Some may think the prices are high (even in the midst of covid...) but they are generally on par w much of what one would get in a decent tapas bar in NYC in terms of quality and price. You get what you pay for and it is worth it!) All told, 198$ w taxes, tip not incl yet- add 20%, call it a day, and you'll be ready for siesta. Worth. Every. Penny!!!

This place blew our mind! Started with the Carne Picante after seeing everyone’s review. Flavour was on point, just tad bit well done for our liking, but overall quite delicious. We then tried the Thai cod, amazing!!! We were still a little hungry after these two dishes lol, so we ordered the shrimp sambal, it was awesome! if you are a spicy food lover, it is a must try!! Finished it off with the salted caramel creme brûlée, it was delish, a little less salt sprinkle and it would have been 10/10! We will definitely be returning!!

We ordered Avocado tar, sprouts, duck breast and Atlantic scallop, and peanut butter tiramisu for dessert. Except the duck breast was very salty, which they explained that they used a triangle salt for it. It tasted like a Chinese dish, but very salty. Other than that, I was very very very impressed by the other three dishes. Scallop was very fresh and tender. Its sauce on the top was slightly sweet and spicy. It matched the scallop perfectly and the pumpkin sauce under it. Amazing. So thank you for the persons who invented it and who cooked for me that day. I was about to come back for that the next day. It is the highlight one. Must have. Sprouts and its yogurt and cheese sauce are matching couples in a wonderful balance. Oh. And their baby sesame did a very good job there. I did not have a high expectation for that, but it surprised me a lot. For the avocado tar, WOOOOOOW. Whoever is going there have to try it. I love everything in it. I clearly taste the corn, green onion, tomato, onion, avocado and wonton crisps separately, but very fresh and smoothly mixed together. Can’t slow down eating it. Very good. Highly recommend!???????? I was choosing from peanut butter tiramisu and hazelnut cheese cake. The pretty server recommended the tiramisu. And it was a very good recommendation. I never tried this combination with peanut butter and tiramisu. It was new experience and a good one. I was very full and I finished it quickly. Very hard work invention and it went out great. And comparing to other same level of food quality, the price is very reasonable and kind.

Tango’s is the best. The portions are small but they’re so flavourful and delicious. The fullness will sneak up on you though be warned. The outside heated patio is so great in great fall. Any around lovely.

Rented La Bodega and was incredibly impressed from start to finish. The manager was attentive, responsive, and receptive to my requests beforehand. The staff were courteous, generous, and responsive as well. All staff acted professionally and wore their masks the entire time they were in our room. Everyone we encountered was kind and interactive! The food and drinks were delicious! Looking forward to booking this room again.

Great experience, worth booking ahead. A little of everything for all tastes, the octopus was a highlight, the foie gras heavenly and the cocktail were a great twist. They currently have a nice patio to allow for social distance and they kept the dishes coming at the right time despite it being full.

This is an exceptional restaurant and a truly magical experience. I have been there numerous times and it never disappoints. The staff is always extremely professional, knowledgeable and able to accommodate. Last spring I traveled through Spain and had many meals in restaurants that specialized in tapas. I was unable to find a place that even came close to the quality of tapas they offer. If your looking for a great taste experience, top service and great value, this is a place to not be missed!

The food and service was great for our wedding receptions. We ordered 2 items per person for our party of 12 which was more then enough food and theu were able to accommodate a vegan guest. the food is really good here usually. we ordered take out during the height of the pandemic and when we picked up the order which was approx $70.00 for two peeps there was no food! so little food we were hungry after we ate?! we asked for the sauces on the side to keep the food fresh but they didn’t do that so everything was soggy. too expensive for what you get! no response from the restaurant either ????????

I love Tango! Mouthwatering tapas, yummy cocktails (French 75s and sangria are fail-safe). Plenty of vegetarian options. Perfect seating for any size party from big groups to one-on-one dates. Excellent service.

July 16 I had the opportunity to dine on the patio. The food was amazing and delivery to the table was timed just right. I don't want to recommend just what I ate because I am confident that every single menu item is just as delicious. The waitress (gorgeous I might add) went out of her way to make my dessert of churros complete by going off the menu and serving my favourite dipping for churros of tequila and hot chocolate. It' was worth the 4 hr drive.

Came here with my parents cause we wanted some tapas. Place is nicely renovated with some Kingston vibe as there are limestones. Their selection of tapas is not huge but had enough to satisfy. They do not serve traditional paella, although they had curry paella when I went. Food is quite pricey for the portion you get. However every dish we ordered was superb. The only dish I wouldn't recommend is the Turkish perogi, that felt like a ripoff and was not satisfying at all.* Service here was excellent. The waitress was super friendly and always checked up on us. The 4 of us including drinks cost $200 with tax and tip. 8/10 experience. *I posted pictures of the menu and the food we ordered.

We love tapas. People that don't know what they are always complaining about the price. Small plates made with lots of love and taste. The staff was friendly and professional. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather. Parking is on the street and can be as little tough. If you park after 6pm free.

Love, love, love this place!!!❤️ I can't rave about it enough. The cocktails and food were delicious and flavorful and the restaurant had a really great vibe. We loved it so much we decided to go back again the very next day. A big shout out to Alyssa on the patio and Cory at the bar for the exceptional service and food/drink recommendations! Our fav dishes were the octopus, curry cod, meatballs, lamb tacos and tuna tataki, but honestly each dish we tried was delicious. The cocktails were a treat and the hibiscus paper plane was a highlight. The variety of crystal glasses and garnishes made each drink special too. Tango Nuevo more than exceeded our hopes and we would come back to Kingston just to visit this place again!????

We've eaten here twice, both times while visiting Kingston for our anniversary. Everything we've ordered has always been good, especially the Tuna Poke Nachos. Tango seems to have perfected their flavour combinations with all their dishes. The details of each item on the menu have been well thought out. We try to order at least one item from every category of the menu. While there are certain items one or the other of us has preferred, it has all been tasty and is always beautifully presented. The mixed drinks are also top notch and the atmosphere of the restaurant is on point. It was busy when we went this year, and we ended up seated at the bar. Much to our enjoyment, the TV behind the bar was showing the original black & white King Kong (1933) - which was a quirky, different bit of entertainment for discussing during lulls in our conversation. I highly recommend giving Tango Nuevo a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Was visiting Kingston and throughout the visit had a culinary adventure. Tango Nuevo was recommended by a local and I have to say the service from our waitress and the food was amazing. However be careful where many restaurants forewarn about the time limit at the table when you arrive this place only tells you in the fine print of your reservation and not up front at the restaurant, and after serving us a bottle of wine that they knew based on time we could not finish gave us only a 2 minute warning but told us to totally enjoy the wine we can in those two minutes.

Great location for good quality food in Kingston. The owner obviously knows how to bring great experience to those who are dining. The tapas style menu has a full spectrum of options and the way they marinate their beef is incredible. At this point I have had most of the menu items and would encourage everybody to try their Carne Picante and their Pork Ribs. Just writing this review all I want to do is go back and have some more.

Excellent food and service. We enjoyed four plates and were pleasantly full. The server paced the plates well so that we were able to enjoy each one and not feel rushed. The Brussels sprouts were amazing and so was the chicken skewers. We also really enjoyed the carrot dish and potatoes. The mocktails were delicious but pricey. The restaurant was very clean and the Covid precautions in place. The bathroom had amazing hand soap from the shop next door. I wish it had been open! I would have bought some to take home. Overall, a wonderful meal and we look forward to dining there again when we visit Kingston.

Frankly speaking, I love every single dish here. You just can’t go wrong with any of your pick. We ordered about 10 dishes and love everything here. Even forgot to take any more pictures during eating time. Highly recommended. Try tuna tatami, Mediterranean eggplant, scallops, and basically everything you may like!

The food at Tango Nuevo is delicious. We tried all Gluten Free options and they were very tasty and perfectly cooked. The Lamb was delicious, the Thai curry cod was creamy with a risotto type of base, the Tuna was nicely seared around with an acid vinaigrette that was a little spicy. On the veggie side, the brussel sprouts were tasty layed over a delicious sauce. Will definitely come back for more.

Enjoyed all the food and wine. The lamb tacos are really good and recommend this dish for lamb lovers. My son like the curry fish. It was light and delicious. Service was prompt and friendly too. Server shared with us the origins of the owners and their passion for food. One small critique is that I wish they had a baby changing station.

It is quite expensive which is ok for amazing flavour and the variety of tapas you can get. The Scallops were a huge disappointment. $21 for two small-med sized Scallops that were just ok. Unique and delicious tapas on the downtown main street patio. Went on the weekend for a family birthday because it's a family favourite location. As before, it lived up to our high expectations. Lots of variety and unique choices. Prices are higher than average for tapas, but maybe not surprising given the quality and location. Expect to order 2 dishes per person. Patio seating is covered with clear plastic roofing and also has side curtains. It's a busy location but service was great, being quick and polite. TIP: Make reservations. Parking lots around the area and also on the street a short walk away.

Tapas were absolutely delicious and I wanted to taste eveything on the menu. Very good ambiance and service. I just feel like the pricing is a bit off. I would expect such high prices in a more traditional restaurant than a tapas / cocktail resto. There is also a great selection of creative cocktails, but once again, I found the price/quantity way off. If prices are not a concern, treat yourself!

Oh my the chefs here are really on the ball with hitting the right spot for the ultimate dining experience. The waitress that we had she was amazing also really on the ball experience had good knowledge of the tapas menu and the wine selection also. We had first a special scallops with purée potatoes and wine sauce melted in your mouth was impressive tastes, then we moved onto the octopus which I’m not a big fan of but again was impressive tastes they had served really well with feta picked onion house made very good, next was Spicy beef comes with 4 soft shell tacos wow all l can say is I’m enjoying my self so much with the tastes next was Thai cod curry and yet again wow cod seared perfectly loving this then because of all the spices I thought that lamb kebab served with soft tacos sweet would be the perfect end to the meal and yes hit the spot perfectly I also explained to the waitress that we didn’t want a dessert but we took the lamb just to ease away from all the spices and flavour that was outstanding. I would happily go back again and again throughly enjoyed.

I attend meetings several times a year in Kingston and generally go to another one of our local favourites, we switched it up and went to Tango Nuevo on our most recent visit and had an outstanding experience! The food was truly excellent, our entire group was constantly impressed by the different dishes that landed on our table. Tuna Poke Nachos, Carne Picante Tacos, and Asian Pork Ribs were my personal favs. This restaurant will not disappoint, very friendly staff, nice ambiance, and the food was outstanding. I would skip the charcuterie, it does not impress like the other dishes we enjoyed. Flavours this good do not come cheap, if you are quantity focused this may not be the best place for you. But, if you want some of the best tasting food in Kingston and are comfortable with the prices then I very highly recommend.

Last evening we enjoyed a wonderful take out meal from Tango. Thank you and Wow!! The quality and flavour is topnotch (as always). Comfort food has taken on a whole new level of meaning during this shut down...it is a treat and a comfort to get to eat familiar, favourite dishes that have been carefully and expertly prepared by someone other than moi :) The to-go containers were sturdy and well wrapped. Warm food stayed warm and cool food stayed cool. Our bottle of wine was perfectly parred to our meal, and the lemon meringue was heavenly!! Thanks Tango!!

The food was exquisite! They suggest ordering between 1 - 3 dishes per person. Sharing is also highly recommended, and adds an additional intimacy with friends and family. The restaurant is very busy, so it can be loud at times. The staff members were fantastic and customer orientated. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Tapas!

Fancy tapas dishes, some creative modern ideas, almost every djsh was special. Went twice, service was decent, better the first time, a but intrusive the second time. Good wines available by the glass. Quite pricey, but fancy, nice spot for a date, or a celebratory business meeting.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at this place. Covid protocols are in place, their patio was warmed up with heaters and inside the restaurant was also tastefully decorated. Service was amazing and they are knowledgeable with what they offer. The food was outstanding! Every single thing they are serving us was prepared and cooked to perfection! The time everything was prepared and served were well coordinated too! This is one of the highlight of our trips in Kingston! Highly recommended!

My bf picked this place for our anniversary because they had a lot of gluten-free and vegetarian options for me. We were a little nervous about the premise of 'small portions' but honestly, we were surprised that the 2 of us probably could have been very satisfied at 2 dishes each (shared) vs the 3 we ordered. Atmosphere was nice, place was busy (but not loud or annoying) on a Tuesday night, so maybe make reservations like we did ????????‍♀️. The bill, after 3 dishes each and 1 beer was just under $90. Please excuse the lighting in the pictures. The lighting was perfect for eating, not as great for pictures ????.

My favourite place for tapas in the area, and I mean the area of Kingston and surrounding couple cities and towns an hour or so away. The restaurant has great atmosphere, service and values. Good for large groups and dates. A must visit when in town!

Really impressed with this place, not only were they incredibly accommodating allowing us to switch tables (to a larger table even though there was just two of us) to a less sunny spot, but their food was incredible -- well beyond our expectations! The Avacado Tartar was really good, so so good (ate it as soon as it came, so no photos), the carne picante and the tuna poke nachos, also amazing -- will definitely come here again!

Please Avoid at all cost. Fake Online Reviews from local guides and Do Not Order From This Place for Any Takeout Food!! I came across this place from online and thought the reviews are pretty nice but you guys can take a look at the photos from my order for Lamb BBQ and it’s absolutely disgusting and looks like someone else chewed on it and puked to the plate. The photo is taken directly after I opened the lid so I was really surprised to see it looks like a half-eaten food. By the way, the below dish costs 27$$ + Taxes. Called the customer service and was told it’s normal. Save some money and go somewhere else.

First time here and it was awesome! Food was delish, the setup & decor was great, and the staff was very helpful and courteous! The manager went out of her way to help us get a table for 2 and the servers were all excellent! Worth the experience and i highly recommend! Absolutely incredible. Every single thing we got was beyond amazing, I couldn't imagine changing a thing about any of the dishes. They were all piping hot, flavourful and well thought out. This place was incredible. First of all, there are choices for everyone: meat lovers, vegetarians, gluten free options too. The place has great music and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The tapas are a great portion to share and the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely come back!

One of my favourite restaurants in Kingston. I have been many times and will continue to return many times, never has the food been a disappointment. It is definitely tapas style, so be prepared for small portions and big prices but it is worth it. Great place for a date night (hint hint partners) or if you want to impress some friends who are visiting. Don’t skip on the sangria!
