Was looking for good Thai restaurant in Kingston.. Mango is one of the best choice. Visited with the friend on Monday evening and was not crowded. Food is the best. We tried vegetables curry and chicken curry. Food taste is very authentic and staff is very courteous. One tip - curry portion is good for two people if you are not big eater but rice size is small.

Mango Thai had a great selection of food. We ordered the beef egg noodles, the mango chicken and the red curry. When they say spicy, they mean spicy. The food was delicious. Mango juice was not that great, but try the mango smoothie instead. The beef was really juicy and delicious. The red coconut curry was great, but the broccoli was a little bitter.

Amazing food! Love everything i have ever tried there, and there are options on the menu for even the pickiest eater (me). I would highly recommend it, especially the Fresh Shrimp Roles, and the Vietnamese Spring Roles for appetizers, and the Sweet & S|our chicken, and the Cashew Chicken as a meal!

I have worked at Mango for the past two+ years and today is my last day so here are some of my favourites: CH5 basil chicken is delicious as is B1 beef with oyster sauce and N4 the Malaysian curry noodles. The staff are exceptional and the owners have worked hard to update and modernise a classic Kingston fixture downtown. 10/10 would eat here again but will miss the staff discount. Also: cash pickup over 40 bucks is 10 percent off so that's nice.

This is your green curry for $14.99 which is suddenly $16.99 (never disclosed any increase in base price) then taxed at a total cost of $19.20? A taco has more beef than your "authentic food". Just thieving! As for the meal...all I taste is coconut milk, I mean look at it, this is NOT green curry...not even close to authentic. Never again!

The place sucks! 1) the basic food - green curry came with lumps in the curry. The waiter apologized and brought us another one, which was the watered down version of the same. 2) Thai Basil curry was so tangy - the server and owner refused to replace or change the item ordered 3) it took 15 minutes just to get the bill. 4) please avoid this place at all costs!!!!

Disappointed; I ordered mango and sticky rice and the server told me that they ran out of mango; they offered me a discount on the plate (mango & sticky rice) however they had just the sticky rice on the menu for a lower price. No logic either.

I can't believe how fast and efficient the service was. And I swear our meal came to us in under 10 minutes. Not only were the staff friendly but the Malaysian Curry with vegetables and tofu was fantastic! Had spring rolls and mango salad as a starter and they were also delicious. More please! (Would have rated it 5 stars but the Pad Thai my wife had wasn't very notable.)

This has been a longtime favourite of mine for over 10 years. A small local Thai/Pan-Asian restaurant with very friendly staff. During COVID it has mostly served only take-out for customers, however I believe they're starting to open DINE-IN options as well (when it isn't during lockdown, obviously). My staples from Mango are: Vietnamese spring rolls (A4), House Pad Thai (N1), Malaysian Curry Noodles (N4), or their GREEN CURRY (C3) *drooling while typing*. You can request the spice level you want for most dishes when ordering from mild to spicy. The flavours in these dishes are awesome, and the price is RIGHT. Great value overall making this restaurant a place I frequent every 2 weeks when I want something quick and YUMMMMMY.

Pan-asian cuisine makes no sense as a concept. This is reflected in the quality of the food and its remoteness from the real deal. I had two Thai dishes and both were nothing like what you may get in Thailand or even a Thai restaurant anywhere in the world.

I guess opinions of this place really depends on prior experiences with Thai food. My take is that it's not exactly authentic and the taste and sub-par. They had all the right ingredients but not the right proportions. Their sauce accompanying the thinner noodles is slightly too tangy and zesty than needed. Also there were no sight of hoisin sauce that usually accompanies meals offered at similar places. The appetizers were also very small in portions.

I'm not from Kingston, so I just googled this restaurant before going and I'm SO glad I did. The staff was so nice! I'm vegan and our server was so helpful and recommended a few options. The food was amazing, big portions and the price was incredible! I honestly will drive 3.5 hours back to Kingston for their food. The flavour was phenomenal.

On the road back from New Hampshire USA to Toronto Canada, made a spontaneous stop in Kingston to grab some grub. I and my colleague decided to try some Thai cuisine and we were not disappointed with our choice. This restaurant is a medium to small size, sits maybe 75 people max. Their menu is quite diverse in terms of vegetarian, seafood and meat lovers. I had the Malaysian shrimp curry with rice and also the strawberry smoothie. The only critique I have is the rice side is quite small, but the curry is massive. It was very rich, mildly spicy and a little sweet. To me, it was the perfect balance. I thoroughly enjoyed the taste of the curry soup and the shrimp was nice and tender, not rubbery when over cooked. The veggies mixed in were properly cooked with a mild crunch to them. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Food is well prepared and uses fresh ingredients, but every dish I’ve tried I’ve found to be far too sweet, and lacking in spice and complex flavours. Very much seems like it’s tailored to a more traditional “Canadian pallet”. Much pricier than what it’s worth if you’re getting takeout, though inside has a nice ambiance.

Didn't quite meet expectations. "Medium" spice option is less than mild -- the curry essentially just tastes like coconut milk. If you want your food to have any kick, or even much flavor, definitely order it hot. Service was non-existent. Soup was good.

The food and the ambience at this place was amazing. The green chicken curry was delicious, starting a little bit Sweet and savoury, building up the spices with each bite, with a delicious creamy gravy. The lemongrass chicken friend rice was equally good! The staff was friendly, providing great recommendations, the price was super reasonable, and the service was quick. We were on a pit stop in Kingston, and were in and out in 30 minutes! Serious recommendation for Thai place to anyone in the area!

Great food. * Update... We drove downtown tonight and witnessed three people vomiting outside of the restaurant and told us not to go in because they had food poisoning. We were saddened by this because we do like this restaurant. I am hoping the restaurant owner will respond to the review as I do know the people outside were planning on calling the health unit. I can't believe someone could get this ill so shortly after consuming food but since it was three of them it was a bit suspicious. We did go to another restaurant and had a great meal though.

Lovely place and delicious food. My oldest son recommended this place for lunch. He orders from there frequently - student at university - so my husband and I took him there for lunch. The interior is lovely. Very clean. Trendy. Nicely laid out. Bathrooms were spotless Every inch of the place that I seen - including the kitchen as I walked past the doorway to go to the bathroom, was immaculate Staff is super friendly and nice and prompt. Excellent menu. The food was made fresh and was quick to the table. Prices were reasonable. The entre meals were plentiful. Plating was well done. Definitely recommend it for anyone who loves Thai/Asian food.
