Value on Accessibility is extremely poor. One low table and have had two experiences where the restaurant servers and even the manager have seated people who did not need the one lower accessible table right ahead of us. Service is mediocre. Food is okay.

Good place to eat. I think they are owned by Original Joes, one of my favourite places to go. The Saigon Sub (which USED to be my go to meal at Original Joes) is on the menu and is just fantastic. I would come back for that meal alone!

1 day shy of being open a month, we left after 1 happy hour across the street to check it out! So happy we did! Much better atmosphere then Kelseys was. Music not nearly as loud. Just right! Our server was Cale! He was fantastic! He introduced the H.H. house wines and beer. We started with calamari and then the AMAZING BANG BANG SHRIMP! You must try these! We all loved them. We ordered french onion soup which we sent back because there was more bread then broth. Our guest got the soup done properly but said it wasn't anything special. Our other guest had the butter chicken. Great presentation however she said it could've been spicier. The battered haddock fish and chips was a hit! 2 of us ordered the bison burger. It came with 2 sides. I chose caesar salad and ginger coleslaw. Loved the slaw, caesar had perfect amount of dressing(lite)& real bacon and croutons on it. The burger was a disappointment. Rather tough. I only ate a 1/3 but we also had an order of wings which were quite good! Nobody starved. All in all it was a pretty good visit but the burgers and soup really could use some attention. Thankfully we had Cale as our server, and he gave us plenty of attention!????

Excellent food, busy place so the servers really are jumping from one table to the next, but always a smile on. The lights are kept really low, and they have lots of TVs in the dining room as well as in the lounge, they're super distracting during dinner

I had the chicken tenders and fries and gravy. The fries and gravy came hot and tasty. The chicken was hot and juicy and the breading was nicely seasoned. Service was friendly and efficient. Four stars because a bit too pricey.

Great happy hour specials including food specials, great serving sizes, big selection of food and bevies. Great place to watch games! Clean bathrooms, nice staff. I love the avocado toast and jalapeno mac and cheese! I found the lounge and restaurant to be very dark for 5pm though.

There new appy hour is a pretty good bang for your buck. $4 fish tacos (regular price is 15 for 2) and imo state and main/original Joe's have the best fish tacos in the city. Drinks are reasonably priced as well. The only reason not 5 stars is the menu other than a couple selections are just unappealing to me... but of course that's strictly a bias on my part based on what I like to eat

Went for dinner and drinks with a group 7 during a busy Friday evening. Our waitress appeared to be handling several tables in our area but was reasonably quick to refill our drinks and make sure we were doing okay. This was my first experience at State & Main and I'm very happy to report that my order of pistachio crusted salmon was absolutely amazing. Everything on my plate was delicious and came together perfectly. I would have given a full 5 star review but my wife had ordered a steak medium well and it came out rare, even after resting for 10 minutes before she cut into it. They staff did offer to remake but unfortunately we had to leave so they removed it from the bill. I'm excited to return and try other items on the menu.

Initially intended on going to the Keg but the wait times were too long. We weren't sure what to expect because the reviews here weren't that high but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was good and the food was delicious! I got the chicken enchiladas and my husband got the steak. The portions could have been a bit larger but we were full. I'd definitely go again!

I love this place. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. They’re very mindful of COVID measures and have quality-constructed plexiglass dividers at the booths (that I think should stay after COVID given it provides a bit of conversation privacy between the booths). Highlight for me is the food though. Everything I’ve had has been great. The calamari was maybe a little bit too salty when I had it, but so far everything else I’ve tried has been delicious. Keep it up!

For a restaurant attached to a shopping mall my meal was fine. Prices seem a bit expensive for the options and there was nothing wrong with the food. Our server was fine. Not a bad experience but definitely lack Lustre.

This restaurant is located in the kildonan shopping center. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. because it is indy kildonan shopping mall there is a lot of parking. But at the same time it shares this parking lot with multiple stores so parking close to the front doors can be tricky.

Honestly I'm beyond impressed!!! The food is amazing, the price is affordable for what you are getting. The customer service is what had me speechless, the manager Marcus is litterally the most welcoming person. He took time to introduce himself to not only me but my kids. I'd come back here simply because of him. Outstanding customer service! Did I already say I was impressed??? Cause I was IMPRESSED! Love it! Love him and also my waitress was very nice and she knew the menu well, she offered me multiple options. My 6 year old says this restaurant gets a billion starts.

State and main has always been our go to place for a bite to eat. Quite often we would stop in for gyozas (our favorite) and a glass of wine. Today we walked in it was stuffy ..hot and humid...and smelled fishy. We looked at the menu which had some changes. Gyozas are no longer on the menu. Today We were given menus, and then sat for 10 minutes without service. Not even a glass of water. Nothing was typical at this location.

I've been here for business dinner twice while visiting the area. Both experiences were great. We loved the appetizers, especially the Bang Bang Shrimp (which are amazing.) It's a good place to talk and have a few beers or cocktails. It's not quiet and not too loud, you can talk all evening and you won't be bothering anyone and you'll still have a voice the next day. The entrees were good as well. There are TV's all around the dining area with sports on them.

On the evening of May 5th 2021, 2 friends and I went for the wing special on the patio. It had gotten a bit cold outside, so we requested the heater be turned on that was above us. 20 minutes later, the server came back and we requested heat once more, to no avail. Finally we were told that they were out of propane, and were not to be getting any until the next day. This was understandable, but added to my negative experience. Next was the food. The wings were ok at best, I had the honey garlic which were generally bland in flavor. For my main course, I ordered the 6 oz steak, rare. What I actually received was at best a "car tire" On a semi-positive note, when I approached the server regarding this problem, I received a new steak, which was medium rare, but I wasn't going to ask for a replacement again. I ate it, it was ok. In addition, the house red beer I ordered was flat and room temperature with no head... but its a house beer, how good can it actually be? The service we received was at best, ok. I have absolutely had better at other establishments. She wasn't rude, but definitely seemed like she had no interest in us, or her job. To summarize, our experience was sub-par. Unfortunately, having multiple mediocre experiences in the past, it will be difficult to go back. I hope that State and Main will learn from this and make the experience better for other guests. They should be focusing on maximizing the experience of every customer in times like now! We chose to support this establishment, but I will now look to go elsewhere. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I've been here a few times and it has always been a pleasant experience. I came for Le Burger Week this year and they had a real good burger. The Gogi Titan! It had a toasted Broiche Bun glazed with Maple Butter, Rock Salt, and Sesame. Topped with 2 flame grilled Beef/Chuck Patties cooked in house made Gogi sauce, a crunchy Ramen patty, crispy bacon, and sauteed mushrooms. Finished with a creamy Asian cilantro slaw. It was my 6th favorite burger out of the 12 I managed to try.

Service was prompt, all staff was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was a little dark, but added to the experience perfectly. Most importantly, the food was fantastic for the price. Been here many times since they first opened, today went for lunch it was humid and it smelled like a barn. People where leaving because of it. Waitress was attentive to a point but seemed out tune with the menu and was not paying attention to her customers when they finished their meals and offer dessert or bring them the bill. Also the fries were heavily salted worse experienced since we have started coming here .One more chance to get It right then we are done.

As far as atmosphere goes for a restaurant, it's a little dark. Otherwise it's a very nice place to hang out. Their drink selection is very nice, I'd recommend getting a "dark and stormy" or a "shave and a haircut"! Service is average and food is pretty good. The fries are extremely tasty and the burgers are pretty good. Overall I'd recommend this place for a night out with friends

We had the burger week burger, the jalapeno Mac and cheese, and the dragon lettuce wraps. Everything was delicious (the mac and cheese especially). The only complaints were that some of the menu items (that we didn't get) were priced a little high for our tastes. But if it was all just as tasty I probably wouldn't mind paying the prices.

I ordered thru Skip the Dishes and was impressed on the quick delivery. The food was hot and delicious as always except for 1 item. I had ordered the Pretzel Bites with Beer Cheese Dip. The pretzel bites were fantastic but the dip was basically a soup. I've had this in the restaurant and don't recall it being like this. As well, the "soup" and pretzel bites should have been put in 2 separate containers because the so called dip ended up half in the side where pretzels were. But the Dragon Boats and Sweet Potato fries were as great as in the restaurant.

The service was good but wait times were longer than they should have been considering the lower volume of customers. The decoration is tasteful and the atmosphere is pleasant. The music volume was a little off, at one point it blared for no apparent reason. The inclusion of two sides with the burgers and sandwiches was also a nice touch. However the food was cold when we got it and the burger was burnt. Overall not a bad place to go for drinks, but the dinner wasn't quite as impressive.

My husband and I enjoyed our experience here last month. The atmosphere was great and the food was amazing! The place was busy as we went on a Friday evening but our waitress was always around and had great service. I had the fish tacos as I never had fish tacos before and it was delicious and so was the shrimp appetizers! We are definitely going back to try other things on the menu!

My husband and I decided to try out this restaurant after seeing good reviews on Google. We were very disappointed at the food. We ordered calamari, the Main burger and a French Dip. Calamari was super dry like it’s put in the freezer for way too long. The Main burger was a big disappointment. Saggy bun and not tasty at all. My husband said he thinks A&W burger is better than this! My French Dip was average - if they toasted the bun, it will probably make it better. I have mixed green salad as my side, the chip came with it was not crispy. Overall the best part of this meal was the fries - which is really sad for a $60 meal. Not worth it.

I've been here a couple of times. Food and service was mediocre at best. I've tried different things on the menu to see if one really stands out. The only one that has really stood out is the Tuna Poke Bowl. I have ordered it 3 times and it's the best healthy option on the menu.

Called to book a reservation for a large party a few days in advance, when we showed up they didn't have our reservation. Staff was not apologetic or helpful in fixing the issue and seemed like they could care less, so we were forced to wait and we were disappointed. Not an ideal place for large parties as the tables in the dining room don't move, so we sat spaced far from each other which was weird. Staff and the waiter were mediocre and slow as she took forever to take our order and never checked up on us once our order came. On the bright side, the food was good and everyone enjoyed their meals.

Went for dinner with my wife. The food was ok. However, we found the place to be a bit loud. Also, my wife's dinner was cold so we had to send it back. By the tie her meal came I was almost done. Further, more than half the items on the menu were not available. Finally, the server then added an extra item to our bill which we had to get it corrected. Not happy with the experience.

This is twice now my husband and I have ordered. We live an hour out of the city and didn't want to drive all the way back and the food looked and tasted gross. We had ordered a bison burger, spinach dip and the spanako pizza... the spanako had slimy onions and the cheese was all burnt on top, not to mention it took over 45 mins and when my husband got the food, they forgot it, and he had to go back to get it. The bison burger patty looked and tasted like a cheap frozen patties from superstore and the spinach dip tasted and looked like it had just been thawed in a microwave. We completely understand that on these times, it's difficult for restaurants to maintain quality.. but if they're going to continue to charge what they are charging, and give what we received... Then we will simply just stop trying to order from there. Would not recommend again...

Went here with friends for wing night. So I haven't tried the rest of the menu. Wings were tasty, and well priced. Was very surprised that carrots and celery didn't come with the plates of wings. Was also charged for a side wing sauce which I felt was unusual. Service was top notch, Patrick took care of my table and he was fast on water refills, very friendly and professional. I worked at the Kelseys this used to be and it's great to see the building be something successful and new.

Excellent dinner! I don’t know why but we were kind of shocked! Nice amount of food for the price...but it was the quality that was like wow! First time here, party of 7, lunchtime. Not at all busy. The decor is nice and it is comfortable. The food was hit and miss. Friend's meal didn't come with the gravy it was supposed to, that was rectified. Another friend's burger came with a wet, mushy lower bun, which was replaced. The Caesar salad side was poor; tasteless croutons and dressing. The coffee was abysmal. My "grilled cheese burger" was very good, but nothing about it resembled grilled cheese, it was a burger on toasted French bread and a slice of cheese. Not in a hurry to go back with so many better restaurants in the area.

Went there for lunch it's not kid friendly at all!!! Asked for a high chair and they stated that they don't have high chairs then asked for a booster seat and again they said they do not have any. Ok then I asked to sit at the lowest table in the restaurant and was told it is reserved for wheelchair customers. Ok then proceeded to pick a table and I then realized the patio all had lower tables. I asked if we could just sit outside then and was told it's for 18 and over. This restaurant provides a kid menu but no child seating? The food is overpriced for what you receive and the service is mediocre. Will never return

5 stars for how the manager and our waiter handled our table tonight. We ordered a steak salad and the steak dinner (amongst other dishes, 6 in total) both medium rare. Both came out well done. When we pointed this out the server apologized and immediately brought the plates back to the kitchen to have them redone; he didn’t act like it was a drag like some places tend to do. Moments later the manager came out to let us know the timing of our new steaks and that he was going to bring them to us himself. Sure enough he brought us over the plates and watched to make sure the steak was perfect when cut into it. They were cooked great this second time around. The food was good, the drinks were good, but the customer service was what motivated this review. Thanks!

I wasn`t even acknowledged for at least ten minutes. Three servers completely ignored me. The bar tender was extremely slow and unattentive. I had to wait to order and then wait to pay. The customer beside me was also asking to pay and was getting annoyed because the bar tender continued to ignore him while taking his sweet time. I won`t be coming back. Since I work in the mall, people ask me about your restaurant. I won`t be recommending it. The service has been this way on numerous occassions. (visited State and Main on Friday , Dec 14 afternoon when it was not busy).

I eat here everytime I go to Kildonan Place. It is wheelchair accessible although limited other tables are high. I came here last Friday (January 3rd, 2020) lunch time. Coffee was no hot but they replaced it with a freshly brewed cup. I loved their huge serving for fish and chips. Potato soup was okay. me a new n Food and service is good.

Once again I found myself at State and Main after a few hours of shopping in Kildonan Place. It is a great restaurant to relax in and enjoy good food. The service is very good and the menu is varied with some interesting offerings. On this visit I shared the bang bang shrimp, calamari and brussel sprouts with my companion. All were delicious. Thursdays is half price bottles of wine which is a bonus for us wine drinkers! I have been to State and Main many times and have enjoyed everything I have tried off the menu. No disappointments here.

The food here is disgusting. Ordered fish tacos and the fish wasn’t fresh or even seasoned properly. The slaw was under seasoned and drowning in mayo. No cilantro, no acidity, no spice… just a very bland and mushy dish overall. My friend ordered the pistachio crusted salmon and the salmon was dry and over cooked, the pistachio crust was charred, and the asparagus was stringy. If you like good food go somewhere else. First time here and I’ll never be back. You couldn’t pay me to eat here.

State and main is a favourite of ours. The menu is varied and everything we have tried thus far has been delicious and never let us down. We got the pretzel bites, shared the brownie dessert and I had the chicken sandwich with fries and dill dip. Large portion sizes. The prices reflect a night out- nothing extravagant but much classier than a fast food joint. The quality is there. The atmosphere as well. We sat on the dining area side. The service was fantastic we had a wonderful server we could laugh and joke with and she completed a wonderful experience here! Recommend!!

Always eat here when at kildonan place. Usually have the jalapeño Mac and chz and $5 social drinks are great . My husband brought me here for moms day and lots of other moms here to. Had their $5 wine and good lunch. Had enough for a doggy bag. Came in the weekend and had the tomato bacon soup. Simply horrible. Bits of bacon fat in the soup. Seemed like it was raw. Lukewarm too. Never have thr 5hevat soup again. Had a good lunch today jalapeño Mac and cheese. Wait staff always very nice . Took my 2 nieces for the first time for them here. They loved it and had my fave Mac and cheese and chicken wrap. Also my niece loved the sweet coleslaw. Was disappointed they took away the $5 social drinks. Came today and menu changed. Don't think we will come back. Took off a favourite . Don't even get a sliver of garlic toast with mac and Cheese and lukewarm now

This place uses to be a very nice restaurant, haven't been in a while so decided to go last weekend. Get to my table and the entire time there is an unplasent odor. While watching the game the entire time the bartenders blender is ratteling like every push if the button is it's last so I can't hear anything but that noise. Look at the menu the prices has gone way up to what it was just a few months ago, I think it's ok I guess order my food get a burger, comes out thinking it will be at least as good as it used to be take first bite tastes like a MacDonald's big Mac look at the sauce and I swear it had mac sauce, so basically the burger is trash .at the end of the day was the last time I've gone to state and main overpriced menu terrible food smelly place noisy cuz if an ancient blender

Tonight was probably the worst dining experience I have ever had (and I’m 65 and eat out a lot). We had my 16 month old grandson with us (family day). We deliberately arrived early to avoid the dinner rush on a long weekend. Our dinners arrived at 7pm. Stone cold. By then, my grandson had had enough. Took more than 45 minutes to bring a glass of wine. My husband and daughter ate their cold meals and I sent mine back. I was still waiting for it 30 minutes later when we had to leave. In fairness, the manager compt our bill and gave me a $25 gift certificate. I hope this was an isolated incident. We have been a few times since the restaurant opened and it has been pleasant. I’ll give it one more try.

Wednesday night went for the wings with my buddies. Not even busy over there waiting over 35 mins for wings. After the long wait the wings. I am exciting finally the wings are here. But the quality of the wings completely rune it. It is way over cook. It is like reheat in the microwave 5x times and just let it seat under the heating lamp for a while. The wings are super dry and like chewing the rubber. Not happy with the food quality at all. Not going to go there again

I have always enjoyed the service and food at State & Main, but after last night I won't be going back. For my birthday I recieved a MasterCard Gift Card, but when I used it to pay their portable payment machine wouldn't accept it. After leaving the restaurant, I checked my balance and used the card elsewhere and successfully purchased items from a store that accepts MasterCard. Today on February, 21st 2017 I called State & Main Winnipeg and asked what methods of payment were accepted. The lady on the phone told me that they do accept prepaid Mastercards. Conflicting information in-store, online and over the phone. Unfortunately you lost a loyal customer.

Went for a date night with my SO. Service was ok, kind of slow for how dead it was. I ordered a chicken sandwich, which was supposed to have avocado, and didn’t. And also the “bread” they used was so thick it was hard to eat. My SO is indigenous so we’ve had plenty of real delicious bison burgers, and this one didn’t compare. He said the only real thing that stood out on it was the bacon ketchup. For me the only good thing I have to say is the dill sauce for the fries was good. Won’t be back.

All that had a main dish,with FFs, complained about the same thing. Both drinks that I ordered, were served wrong, and I was not impressed, when I asked for my ceaser to be EXTRA spicey, and the first one,was served in a small glass,with no extra spice. The second one, even though I specifically asked that they make it EXTRA spicey, was served in a proper tall glass,but,no extra spice was offered . At the end of our meals, our waitress did not offer us desert. I had to ask for it, then,she brought the desert menu. Other than my under sized,over priced, hamburger, the other members of our group, enjoyed their entrees, which included the fish and steak dishes. Again, the complaint they had,was the amount of FFs. I will have to rethink visiting again. Thank-you

I just wanted to share the most amazing experience I had at this restaurant. My husband and I came here on a Friday night and I ordered the salmon. I wasn’t too fond of it, possibly because I’m not a fan of pistachio, but I decided to order it anyway. I ate about half of it and just couldn’t eat it further and I informed the waitress. The manager came out and asked me if I wanted anything else on the menu and brought me chicken tenders (which was absolutely amazing btw) and they were just so nice and caring. They didn’t even charge me for my meal. Thank you to the amazing staff that was working on Sept. 4/2020 and for your hospitality and amazing customer service. We will definitely be coming back for those chicken tenders! Happy labour day weekend!

Went for the mom in laws bday. 11 adults 1 kid. It was adequate. Nothing I'd go back for tho. Some people enjoyed their meals. I had the 9oz sirloin medrare extra bucks for onions and shrooms. Not impressed with the quantity or quality of either. Steak itself was ok? Was not served a steak knife until half way through. Jalapeno mashed potatoes are just potatoes. Wife wanted fettuccini Alfredo. None in the kitchen, what? No pasta and sauce, really? Ordered club soda with lime juice. 3 bucks, as a group dropped about 500 bucks and you want 3 dollars for fizzy water out of a bartenders gun. I've got no reason to go back... But you might enjoy it.

When I first arrived at the restaurant it took several minutes to be seated even though I was the only person waiting. The food took over 40 minutes to come out. I ordered The grilled cheese burger and a side of mashed potatoes, both came out cold and dry as if it was sitting under a heat lamp for 10 minutes. Probably could have gotten more meat in a Big Mac for half the price. Overall it was a very poor experience with slow service and subpar food.

Always in for a good meal here. If you've been to places such as Original Joe's and enjoyed the atmosphere and food then you'll enjoy this place too. Staff is always super friendly, food is well portioned and tasty, and they have some good house beers and alcoholic drinks too! Patio does a great job of providing some shade as well as sunlight. Interesting location being attached to the mall but it works and it's definitely one of my favorite places to go!

The food was great and the decor and ambiance were cozy and inviting. Very comparable to a Moxies. I had a an Asian noodle bowl dish and it was fantastic. A couple of people at my table had a tuna bowl dish and said that it tasted as good as it looked. The only thing that kept me from posting a 5 star review was that it seemed like things were slightly slow on the service end considering how slow it was when we were there for lunch. Overall, a good experience. I will definitely give them my business again, and would recommend this restaraunt to a friend.

Been to Guelph location numerous times and was disappointed in food quality and prep here. Overcooked shrimp and calamari. Just not as good. Not bad if no comparison but not as good as Guelph.

Stopped in on our way to the airport. Really impressed with the place. It wasn't too busy, but not dead. Super clean and very pandemic safe feeling. Service was truly amazing. The pretzel bites were kick butt delicious. She had the burrito bowl and I had the main burger. The salad was a really good mix of flavour is her opinion. The burger was good but not the best I've ever had. The fries however were killer! Spiced just right and served with a side of some amazing dill mayo kind of dip that was incredible.

Booked a reservation this weekend for over 20 people for my boyfriend's surprise birthday. The service was amazing, our server was so kind and patient with us. She was super organized. The food was incredible and was brought out so quick. Everyone was really impressed with the restaurant. Highly recommend it. Will definitely be going back to try more things from the menu. To top it all of, the server was one step ahead of us on preparing the cake as well as the group picture. Impeccable service!

The food items are pricey and the portions are on the smaller side. I didn't love the food but the cocktails were only okay. They were made well. The staff were friendly but their attention was focused on their friends sitting around the bar area, though this evening we were there it wasn't busy and this didn't hinder the quality of our evening.

We were looking for a good Caeser and this place has good reviews. The garnish was great but the Caesar was just average, however they are on special on Sundays for $6/double, so totally worth it. Service was good and the environment was clean and interesting. We would go back again.

Amazing food with fresh ingredients and classic favs as well as more interesting stuff on the menu. Cobb salad was amazing. Great and speedy service with friendly and dedicated staff. Clean and modern with a nice private patio and amazing on tap beers.

Server was polite and friendly. Food was good. Drinks were well made. I think you can judge a place on how they make a Caesar and the one here was good. Only issue was the hostess was offputting. She was very abrupt in the way she spoke to us and was bordering on rude. I understand in the covid age that people are a bit tense, but it set a really negative tone to the beginning of our meal. Bartender wasnt the friendliest either. I'd say the rest of the servers did an amazing job with putting us at ease. Once we sat at the tables instead all else went well.

at restaurant for late supper at 8:15 pm tuesday night with my son meeting me there sat at a larger table facing the larger tv with higher chairs first thing the waitress told me she was going to move me if a group of 8 people showed up i asked if any reservations were booked she said no i told her i wasn’t moving as i sit at the same table most of the time she repeated she would move me i went to moxies instead, service and waitress was pleasant and she told me i could sit where ever i like and the food was great

I tried the Goji Titan burger at State & Main and it was delicious! The service was a bit slow, but it seemed like there were many orders coming in for the burger, so I can't blame them too much. Hopefully they keep the burger on the menu after Le Burger Week!

Great food and service... ordered the empire state steak andnit was succulent and full of flavor.. we ordered the spinach dip with tortilla chips which was really good but the chips were on the low side In general the food is.really good and the services is very good and fast

Nice restaurant and lounge. Usually quite, decent prices food a pinch on the high cost side. Good quality food and great customer service. Burgers and fries were great really like the sauces they serve with the fries it was a dill cream sauce of some kind. Salads were great. Actually my favorite salads of any restaurant, not cheap on the croutons or Bacon good amount of dressing also had some good cheese in the salad. Steaks served with mushrooms were also great.

I came here for lunch a few days ago on my way to a meeting. I had the chicken club and it was one of the best that I have had in the city. My service was amazing, she was a young girl named lauren who was very attentive. I have a long list of allergies and I usually don't feel safe eating out but she eased my mind when she could answer all my questions. Would recommend this restaurant. Great Service!

Definitely one of the best spots in Kildonan Place to have a meal or a drink. If I had more off the menu, I'd give a more comprehensive review. Not a place I would go every night as a student with a tight budget, but if you want a nice place to take a date, meet for a special occasion, or sit down with friends over a decent meal give this place a visit.

Our server was very attentive. We sat right by where the bartender mixed drinks and she was very professional in her mixology. All the drinks that came to us were well made/mixed/poured. First time here. Very impressed. Food was great. Would recommend and would come back.

Meeting with a couple of colleagues and it was ok. Not sure if it is because of the current situation (covid) but portions seemed smaller compared to the overall cost. Dinner tasted good overall. Would more likely rate this 3.5 stars if I could. Just my opinion but hey what do I know? :)

Poor service was disappointing! the waitress spoke so fast was hard to understand. They had the air conditioning on and it was cold Steak was burnt on the edges Crab cakes were burnt ;( disappointed for the prices you pay and the waitress spoke so fast was hard to understand. Came for a birthday and was definitely not the place To go.

Even though our group of four went during a busy lunch hour, service was fast and friendly. The servers stopped by our table regularly, and took great care of us. I had the chicken teriyaki rice bowl. It was hot, a little spicy and very filling. I don't know how anyone has dessert after such generous portions! The dining room is dim, and a bit noisy. Booths are comfortable, lots of elbow room.
