Very grateful owners and their sushi will tell! They actually take extra care if someone is allergic to shellfish, they have a separate frying pan for that! This takeout restaurant is a must try!!

Huge roles that are mostly ingredients instead of half rice. Fresh, hold together well and professionally made. Lots of sauce on saucy rolls. Favourite is the volcano roll, bit beware, it's spicy!

it's a really cosy place and the food is great. the owner is really friendly and the service was great. they were accommodating of requests. its too bad they don't have a bit bigger place to fit more tables. they only have 3 tables but i think most people order out. there's plenty of parking in the lot. i definitely recommend coming here.

I tried this place after a doctors appointment across the street and wow I'm glad I did! They are so friendly and greet you warmly the moment you walk in. I had the fried California roll with spicy mayo added on top and it was soooo good! I also had the tuna nigiri. The piece of tuna was huge on top of the rice but I didnt mind one bit. I ended up cutting the piece in half and eating half as sashimi and half on the rice. The prices are amazing for the quality of fish. I will be returning for sure.

Very cosy little sushi shop, stopped for lunch to dine in at one of the two tables they have there. My only complaint was that one of my rolls had mayo in it, but the menu description never said that it contained mayo. If it said mayo, I wouldn’t have ordered it. All my other rolls were good though!

Always our go to place for great sushi! Aside from the good food, the staff is very welcoming which makes the experience even better. Portion size on the Nigiri combo is amazing I've never seen it like this anywhere else. You're in for a treat with this gem of a sushi restaurant.

Amazing fresh and delicious sushi, best kept secret in town! Super friendly couple that operate a small but lovely takeout set up however there are two tables to seat four if need be however no public washrooms for those who require such. Rainbow roll and caterpillar roll were the perfect meal and shrimp tempura uses fresh batter and oil for oh so delicious appetizers. Definitely recommended by colleague and us to return for reasonably priced and wonderful tasting heart filled food that just makes you feel good!

We order a takeout small tray ever few weeks. Have had sushi pizza, donburi bowls, nigiri, sashimi, almost every special roll. Come here (only 2 tables) or grab some takeout. You won't be disappointed. Food is great and the service is vibrant!

Not a great experience. Didn't even get a chance to eat when we went there. Nobody even show up for work doors were locked. When I did finally show up and we got in there is only two small tables it wasn't very inviting so we left.

Great little sushi place, operated by a very friendly family. We came for takeout but decided to stay as they have 2 tables available. The restaurant is clean and bright with some classic sushi house decor. I tried the California roll and fried yam roll - very tasty! I liked the miso soup too. It came out piping hot. We were not expecting the spicy salmon roll to be as it was - a roll filled with salmon flavoured tempura crumbs it seems, instead of a piece of raw salmon with spicy sauce. We’ll keep trying more rolls to find our favourites as the prices and location are fantastic!

This is my new favourite sushi restaurant. I ordered here after Magic Sushi 2 did their renovations and upped their menu prices. The rolls are huge, ingredients are fresh, price is decent and the preparation was fast. The man making my sushi greeted me warmly when I came in to pick up my order and wished me a great day when I left. I will definitely be returning.

Been going here for a long while, recently it has been falling off. I was overcharged more than once for what I ordered and the slices of sushi were not cut properly. There was no rush. Sushi also tasted odd and unfresh. The friendly attitude comes off as fake if your food quality is terrible. This is such a shame because this used to be my favorite place, will not be returning.

KL Sushi is not the best sushi place I can recommend but they do serve good sushi and the best bang for the buck in terms of price to quality and consistency. I have ordered sushi here countless times and they were always able to satisfy my sushi cravings without hurting my wallet. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. Ordered the small party tray and an order of shrimp tempura and everything was on point! I also recommend the Chirashi Don and Udon.

Ordered the spicy combo. I thought I got the wrong order because there were no visible salmon, tuna, or shrimp just yam and cucumber. When I went back to return it, they said this is how its supposed to be and that it is shredded. Never seen sushi like this where you can’t even see any of the fish!! Gave it one extra star because it tasted decent, but still hard to believe its not the wrong order.

Ingredients including fish tasted very fresh. The food was all quite tasty, though some of us found the rice a bit soft. The rolls are a smidge rice-heavy, which is reasonable given their price. Service was awesome. It is a tiny restaurant - more of a take out place.
