First time going here, we'd been wanting to go for a while. Was loud, but there was a jets game and it was a steady friday night. Service had an acceptable speed, menu looks great, lots of things I want to try. They have a wall of hot sauces. Everyone was happy with their food temperature and tastes. Nice decore and clean. Service was fine, but lots of staff 'hanging out', charging their phones and being young. No issues with this and it did not affect the quality of service or our visit, but quite noticable. We will go back for sure.

I visited Junction 59 over the weekend and was blown away with the food, and the service! The food was fantastic, and the menu is really unique. The service is fast and friendly. The manager came to the table to check on our meal, we felt very taken care of as the visit was genuine. The hot sauce wall is a great feature, never seen that anywhere before, it's very cool. 10/10 would recommend!

Went there for Mothers Day for dinner, found the menu's little to no options for lunch so with basically little to choose from we made our best option and ordered anyway, I guess you tried to keep it simple but was surprised. The thing that really annoyed us was when we did ordered our lunch my wife's order had toast with her's and they gave her strawberry jam. My wife said she does not like strawberry and could she get something else instead anything but Strawberry will work , The response from the server was this is not breakfast so no ??? We said we did not order breakfast we ordered lunch and just want a different jam that is all nothing more, she said no again this is not breakfast ???? Really you cannot give us a jam ?? Oh well if that is what you think customer service is that will be the first and last time we ever dine there. Nice start to a new resturant, Good luck with everything if that is your idea of customer service !

Had the shrimp tacos, they use the same breaded popcorn shrimp they use for the appetizer. I suspect frozen and out of a box. Had bigger expectations for this place but feel it’s just another pre-prepared food chain restaurant.

Last minute decision to try a new place for a family supper after a long day of moving. Well, I think we may have found our new “go to” restaurant. Loved it!! Decor, the service, the food, everything was exceptional. Our server, Bailey, was very friendly and knowledgeable. All staff we came into contact with were wonderful. The fajitas are a must try!!! Fabulous!! We will definitely be returning. Thank you to everyone who was on last night (Saturday, October 3rd, 2020).

First off, I want to thank our server Bailey was great. Gave recommendations which we all took. Her service was accurate and done with speed. What a great place to go for supper. Our table had fajitas which were amazing. Came sizzling hot out of the kitchen. The chicken fingers are great. And "The Burger" was delightful. And the mac and cheese... Omg. It was super good. It came in a cast iron pan baked in cheese. Great flavor and super filling. I can't wait to come back.

Went here with a group of friends before the pandemic and most recently ordered take-out from Junction 59 twice now. When we were there it was a very nice, clean and cozy restaurant, the food was absolutely fantastic and well presented, the service very timely and the server was super friendly, down to earth and very accommodating. When ordering take out, the food arrived hot, in perfect restaurant quality condition and all the same tasted absolutely fantastic. Had the big slice of boozy pecan pie for desert which was heavy on the Jack Daniels and I was not mad about it lol. Only good times and great food at the Roadhouse folks. Very highly recommended.

First time being here today and was mightily impressed. Was seated right away, and they moved us upon request to accommodate my friend's infant. The staff were quite friendly and so attentive; my drink was never empty, any request was immediately responded to, and the server even seemed to know what we were thinking (brought over a takeout box and carry bag before we'd thought to ask). The manager came by to ask how we were enjoying things and was so thrilled when I commented on how great the service was. Next time I'm trying to come up with a place to meet friends for snacks or a meal, this will definitely rank high on my list of options.

Friendly staff and atmosphere. Checks for immunization card and ID upon entry???? Had the Junction Fat Boy, tasted good while not quite the chilly flavor I'm used too in a Fatboy burger it's their own take on the local classic and with a try. Huge portions! So go hungry unless you want leftovers. Fries were good but had too much salt for me. I'd go back again.

first time at this restaurant, went because my father is celiac and they have lots options for him. everything was absolutely amazing, I had chicken and waffles the gravey was great (could use some hot sauce) the chicken was cooked perfectly with lots of flavor and the waffle was nice and crispy. my kids burger and fries was also delicious. my mothers spicy chicken burger had tons of flavor and a great kick. my only criticism was the sweet potato fries were wayyy too salty. my partner had the fajitas bowl and they were also delicious! 100% will go back.

Atmosphere is nice and the design is open and inviting (after the timid-like Moxie's). Ordered the steak sandwich, with fresh onions instead of the other kinds (sauteed and crispy). Asked the server to request fresh fried fries from the kitchen. She replied that their fries is always fresh. Fresh onions came out on the side of the steak sandwich, in a surprisingly hot dish - they smelled sour and tasted spoiled. I sent it back with the server and she mentioned she'll bring a new portion. No new fresh onions were provided. The fries were old and soggy, potentially refried or just fried in old oil that has not been replaced. It could have been a disaster if the steak was cooked bad. Fortunately, the steak was done to order of medium rear. No adjustments were made to my bill, which was disappointing, to say the least. There were other issues at our table (like a steak salad that did not come out with the rest of the food), but that was handled properly by the shift manager. Overall, food is mediocre and alcohol is overpriced for the area.

Came in for burger week and had their JYD burger. It's not often I like a charbroiled burger but this one was awesome! My Kids had the burger and chicken fingers off the kids menu and absolutely devoured them. Great atmosphere,service and food at a very reasonable price.

Philly Cheesesteak was full of grissle, fries were sub-par. Prices on average are too high. My girlfriend had the country fried chicken and said it was quite good, but it was over $20 for a piece of chicken! I won't be in any rush to return.

I usually don't write reviews but this place deserves it! Junction 59 has something for everyone. This place is unique in its our way and a perfect addition to Transcona. The food came out to perfection and tasted unbelievable. The service was amazing. Our server Shayna was top notch! She acted like she's known us forever even though we just met her 20 minutes prior. It made for comfortable and personable conversations. . We were unsure about one of the beers on tap and instead of ignoring it she brought us a taste tester. Its now one of my favourite beer! Junctions environment is comfortable and clean. We will forsure be back!!!

I visited for the first time pre-pandemic and while I don't remember what I ordered I do remember the service being outstanding! I've since ordered a few take-away items and have always been really happy with the food. Burgers are always delicious. Their pecan pie is mouth watering and came with a scoop of ice cream in a separate container. Highly recommend trying this place out! I'll be looking forward to coming back to dine inside in the future

Took my wife here for the first time on Saturday night. I ordered the big spicy Mexican bowl. Can't remember the exact name but it comes in a volcanic black lava stone bowl. I ordered it with shrimp and steak and my wife ordered a beef dish. Both meals were great, the steak was not quite up to my personal standards and they removed it from the bill. It wasn't bad per say for Winnipeg, but I am in Texas on a regular basis and let's just say it's an art form down there. The place would be great for meeting the gang after work or for a car club to grab a bite after a cruise etc. Because they have large group tables and willing to host larger parties. I did find the menu a little scarce for items but that's ok. I would rather have them do a dozen items well than a hundred mediocre. I loved they had a wall of hot sauces to pick from. I think they need to put up a big mural on the wall showing them all in order of hotness and where they rate on the hotness scale. So this is a great place for casual dining , but no so much for upscale dining like for date night etc..

However the burgers were bland...the 7 oz. meat patties are a nice size but are in desperate need of seasoning, the chili on burger needs chili seasoning as it was just ground beef and tomato (zero chili). House cut fries were good. Poutine was extremely salty and not edible.

Love the atmosphere. Laid back and mostly 90s music. Waitresses were polite and prompt but not overbearing. I just had a fat boy, fries and a skull 'o beer (LOVE the mugs. Lol) but the burger was perfectly cooked, had chili but wasn't SLATHERED in it like most places do. All in all, a great lunch expereicnxe. Check it out!

I went to Junction 59 for the Le Burger Week burger that had called the "Monster Mac". It was amazing! Angus Chuck patty with a DOPE homemade Mac and Cheese patty, crispy onions and a duo of spicy BBQ and cheese sauces. Lettuce, pickles and onions and special mac sauce on a grilled sesame seed bun. The Manager/Part Owner Chris is pretty awesome! He came over to us personally and asked about our Foodie t-shirts (Custom Made) and personally talked to us again before we left. Awesome place! Check it out if your ever close!

Perfect! The best dining experience I have had in a long time! Myself and three others all enjoyed the experience and the food. No complaints! The staff were wonderful and attentive. The restaurant clean and the decor is lovely. I had the fried chicken which was prepared perfectly..tender..not too salty or greasy. The cornbread was delicious! Presentation was fabulous and portions were very generous. One of the partners/owners was working the floor and obviously very proud of his new business. He made me feel like we were visiting his home...and not just a number. I look forward to visiting again soon! Thanks Junction 59 Roadhouse! :)

I had a delicious gluten-free burger and fries meal!! They offer gluten-free buns! The gluten-free chocolate peanut butter cheesecake was delicious too!! Very descent gluten-free menu options! Was very pleased and will go back! Disappointed with our 2nd visit there on January 5/22 They have different gluten free buns that are dense and hard ???? Prices have inflated crazy for just a burger and fries $21.00!! Won’t be returning there with those prices!

Good variety menu with options for vegetarians and people with gluten free requirements. Food is great. Fajita bowl is really tasty and an original, served in a super hit stone bowl. Natchos are also done in an original way and the salsa is great. They have a ton of hot sauces you can choose from too! Also the fat boy is fantastic and available WITH. Gluten free bun. Good beers on tap. I really like this place!

Went to Junction 59 for a dinner after work and to get a few beers and I was not expecting such a good spot. Not only was the menu exciting and something different the drink options were endless. I absolutely love the fact you can ask for how spicy you want certain menu items (i had the chicken sandwich) they have a wall dedicated to hot sauce. I look forward to the next time I'm in Winnipeg to come back to Junction 59. Extremely pleased and impressed, thank you!

We stopped by one day to try the burger. The guy that served my husband said to him you can wait in your vehicle because you don't want to have to stand and wait , so he said he would bring It out. He brought it out ,and honestly what a nice guy !!! He even spoke to me --- he was so friendly and nice and the burger and fries were really great .We got a southwestern chicken burger . Very nice . When cover is over we will go again or maybe before. I wish more people were as friendly as he was . I believe the burger was an 8 but he was a 20 .

I hate to go against all these 5 star reviews but I didn't enjoy much of the food here. I had taco Mac and cheese, there is waaay too much taco seasoning in this. Make a delicious Mac and cheese then maybe sprinkle some taco seasoning on. It was gross to be honest. Also tried the deep fried avocado, also not for me. The deep fried shrimp are delicious, nice crispy breading. If your going to put green onions on everything, put it in the menu so I can ask for it without. We were going to get dessert until our waitress recommended against the item we picked. The FREE chips were basically made out of salt. I hate to complain about a free item but it was just excessive. The atmosphere is good, the people are friendly but I don't see myself returning anytime soon. Thanks for having us.

Went for lunch with my s/o food was great ! The $5 blue plates specials during happy hour are perfect, great portions. I got the ruby red cocktail which was kinda lacking, could’ve been a bit better and I didn’t get the grapefruit garnish but other than that good experience.

Tried their takeout this past weekend because my partner and I were trying to remember where we saw some mac and cheese patty burger a while back. Finally found out it was here but no longer available. So we got the next best thing which were a couple of burgers and their mac and cheese. Also yam fries. Whatever that sauce that comes with the yam fries is bomb. The burgers were pretty standard, the sauce was good. The mac was bomb but we completely misjudged how much 2 humans can eat so that was mostly left until leftovers. It was still pretty good mac as leftovers.

Stopped in for a quick Friday lunch. Found the service to be very prompt, attentive and welcoming. I had the Baja Prawn tacos(grilled) and started with the soup and a cold Coors. Sept 21 and 23 degrees outside and they refused to let us sit on the deck, manager told us it was too cold! Meanwhile set us in a back room facing a parking lot and blew freezing cold air conditioning on us. The waitress, Kim I believe, was excellent. The food was fine. But to be turning people away, and yes there were others behind us wanting the deck as well, was a real turn off when our beautiful days are now limited. We won’t rush back.

This was my first time trying out Junction 59. Due to a miscommunication with the kitchen, my steak ended up being over cooked (ordered medium, received well done) and I was given fries rather than smashed potatoes, however very shortly after our food was delivered the manager came by to see how the food was, and when I mentioned the issue with my food she was very quick to comp my meal, as well as bring out an entire new plate for me even though I had only really wanted my steak replaced. Mistakes happen but all in all I was very happy with the experience. The service was excellent and all the food was delicious. Will be back!

This new restaurant needs to step up its game if it wants to be successful in today's competitive marketplace. The menu is impressive, however the kitchen failed on both our meals. Soup was served warm, not hot. My steak mocajete was not edible. I've never been served a tougher piece of meat in my life (I'm not exaggerating this). My fork could not even peirce the meat. I'm very disappointed with Junction 59. Not sure if it's worth a second chance of our business. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and attentive. The decor is attractive.

On a Saturday at 7pm. Within 90 seconds of sitting down I was provided warm chips and cool salsa - then ordered chicken strips and fries. Note the honey dill - there is ample portions. Junction 59 was not bad food wise their famous chicken was very good . I went on valentines day and I like to try new places and I hadn't gone to Junction 59 was packed when it was burger week so I wanted to see what all the hype was about. Was able to dine in , was a little upset with our waitress for 1. We ordered a sangria and it seemed a little off we had a sip of it but our waitress didn't even care/ notice throughout the whole meal to even notice we did not like it. we are not people to be iffy and tell our waitress about our drink. so that's not my big concern but when we wanted to leave our waitress was no were to be found we had to ask a different wsitress/ worker to get our bill and by the end of paying we found her (????) chatting with some other co workers. all in all good place for a chill weekend but not a valentines date just considering the service we got !

We love this restaurant. the first time we went the owner was there and he was more than willing to talk about the menu and he even gave us a sample of the chili that would be on the fat boy. When the food came, the portions were great and the quality of the food is amazing. the service was also great. the second time, same thing. great service, even though they were really busy, when the food was taking just a little longer we were given some chips and salsa, which was great. this time we tried the country fried chicken, and i have to say this is probably my most favourite thing. we will continue to go back because of the great service, the great quality of the food, as well as the prices, that are very reasonable for the amount and quality of the food.

My wife and I went out for dinner here for the first time last night. What a wonderful experience - our waitress was very polite and professional, she checked in on us a few times to make sure everything was tasting well and our drinks were topped up even though it was a fairly busy night in the restaraunt - we felt well taken care of. The food was PHENOMENAL. We ordered the Juction Fatboy with Junction Dip for the fries (100% worth the extra $1) and the Roadhouse Mac & Cheese. In addition, the Salsa and Chips we received when we sat down were such an unexpected little treat with very good flavor. We loved our experience here and will definitely return in the future!

Generally I really support this place and I know $7 is not a wild amount of money but when your side of 3 chicken fingers is smaller then the honey dill dip that came with it. It’s pretty laughable. First impression review. Please note we went within the first 2 weeks of opening so there were some issues. However I still feel it should receive a 5 star rating at this point and I will explain below. Food ordered: Avocado fries ($11.50) perfectly crispy. Pairs well with the sauce. I found it a little bland without the sauce however my girlfriend really liked it without so it depends on your taste preference for that. Either way you won't lose as long as you like avocado ( our 3rd dining companion did not like them because he just really doesn't like avocados) Nachos: this was the dish that we had an issue with. It came out a little soggy but we did speak with management about it and he did say that he was able to rectify it. I look forward to trying it again in the future because the flavors were good. The only issue was That it wasn't as crispy as I would like it. Not every chip has to be but in this case quite a bit of it wasn't Molcajete bowl $19.75 plus $6.00 for prawns: This was probably the favorite of everyone. We all felt it was done well. The shrimp was not overdone and this just tasted great. It was the first to be finished. No leftovers. Creole Chicken $19.75 At first I thought it was ok. The more I ate it, the more I liked it. It's got that restaurant punch of flavor that you are expecting. My gf thought it was spiced too much, but it is a Creole dish, so it should be adequately spiced. If you want something with no spice they have a fried chicken you can order instead. It's a safe choice but not something I would order again when I have other choices. Service needs work, but management is addressing it. The expectation for everything to be flawless is unfair for a new place, so I didn't want to ding them for stars on that. I was impressed with how management went to all the tables and picked up any slack. There was a genuine sense of care. I was told this is not a chain (it has a bit of the chain feel and polish to it) and is a local restaurant. I love small business local restaurants and love supporting them. Chains have their place, but this does seem like they could be the best of both worlds. While we were there we were told a lot of the specials/deals would be implemented later. I will most likely try and come back to report on that. I love a good happy hour. I did notice when I saw the menu that there are items in the happy hour that are not on their regular menu at the moment. They are located where the old moxie was. The interior has changed significantly. It now boasts big windows that allow a lot of sunlight. Much more friendly and casual. Parking should be easy. It has its own parking lot section with more parking behind it. However, when we went it was quite busy. Protip: ask for their hot sauce. They have 2 kinds, a habanero and another one that is made in Manitoba but has blueberry in it. Very interesting to try!

Guinness, as always, was a solid choice on tap. Burger was good, as were the fries. However the prices, I don't feel, were justified for what I got. Might need to give it another go for a better understanding and more Guinness. Edit: the menus are brand-new now! I have been back there twice and loved it both times. Hence the change to 5 stars.

Family and I ventured to Junction 59 for a late Father's day dinner. To start we were greeted and seated very quickly. The server was very friendly and helpful. There was lots of care to ensure there was lots of room for social distancing. They use a disposable (recyclable) menu for each guest. Chocked full of options we were able to have a great meal. Food was prepared well, visually stunning with the smell and taste to follow my wife had the Molcajete bowl. The sizzling stone bowl featured in my picture had a collection shrimp, rice veggies and tortilla pieces. Served with warmed tortillas. I had there take on the fat boy with the addition of bacon as that is a necessity lol. Our little one also had a burger with fries. Delicious, great portions, and mighty filling. But the real winner of the dinner was that Molcajete bowl.

First of all, the service right when you walk in great. We came during Burger Week so it was really busy but they took our name down and told us that they would let us know when our table is ready. They accidentally called us 15 minutes early and they gave us complimentary nachos for the additional wait which was a super great bonus! We felt really cared for and I’ve never been anywhere with such good service in the city! Now, onto the food. The burger we got was absolutely delicious. The crispy onions, with the bbq sauce, and the Mac and cheese all worked so well together. Then the beef patty itself had such a good smoky flavour. I rated this burger a 10/10, it was delicious and the service made it such a wonderful experience. The bonus nachos were also some of the greatest nachos that I’ve had in the city. I highly recommend this place to anyone that’s thinking of going!

Extremely underwhelmed by not only the service, but by the atmosphere. It felt really empty and soulless I did not feel like I was in a Roadhouse. There was no condiments or salt and pepper on our table as well which was odd. The wings were OK, just basic restaurant quality wings. Did not enjoy the fries however.

Had lunch here to try out the new place. Our sever was very friendly and helpful with food recommendations. I tried the philli cheese stake sandwich. The stake was flavorful and they have decent tasting gravy for fries. Overall the food was excellent. The decor is pretty much the same as the old Moxie's, nothing new there. I would recommend giving this place a try. I will be going back.

Unbelievable service levels from both the manager on duty and the serving staff. We came in as a party of 3 that doesn't live together, for a double birthday celebration. After some initial confusion, they made every accommodation to allow us to sit together within the confines of covid regulations, eventually moving us to the patio and giving us a free appetizer and 2 free desserts because of the double birthdays. They went above and beyond to provide the best service possible. They were awesome, and as a result, we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended. Thanks Junction 59!!

The atmosphere was ok , alittle loud but to he expected. Service was good. The food was ok as well, I tried the hot brown (hot Turkey sandwich on rye) as it sounded delicious, it was average but lacking in the Turkey which is the main ingredient in the sandwich! The plate came with a very generous portion of fries that were really good. I may give it another try in the future and try something else but not overly impressed with what I ordered.

They forgot a piece of our order when we ordered off of skip, and not only did they replace the country chicken they forgot, but they replaced our ENTIRE order without us returning what we recieved from skip, ontop of this they threw in a free cheesecake! Manager and staff I spoke to when calling in about the missing country chicken was very pleasant to talk to! On top of this the food is fantastic, highly recommend! Ordered ahead for fried chicken fest. Pre-ordering was easy over the phone. Food was ready on time, and stayed really hot for the whole 20 minute drive home in their take out packaging! Their fried chicken fest submission was unique and incredibly tasty. It included a very generous portion of delicious fries. As a fussy eater, they accommodated a preference on food already made that they did not have to. The did so with wonderful; charm and grace. I personally would not go back there. The best part was the service and the desert but that's about it it! food was terrible from the mac and cheese right to the fatboy burger. Even the fries were way over cooked. The poutine was terrible, mostly because the fries! Not going back for sure. 2 stars was awarded for the great service and the deserts.

Visited Thursday for Burger Week and my friends and I were totally impressed. The food was outstanding. The burger was fantastic, fresh, tasty and unique. The Mac and Cheese was so well prepare and paired perfectly with the burger. The fries were fresh, not overly salty, and cooked to perfection. The service we received was outstanding as well. Went for dinner and drinks in the lounge Saturday night and was very impressed! They were out of deep fried avocados (I'll have to go back another time when they're restocked), so ordered the steak bites w/ fries and mac & cheese, and some guacamole for our chips and everything tasted great! The dips that accompanied the steak bites were yummy to. Additionally, our server Stephanie was very friendly and knowledgeable. And the cocktails and HUGE original 16 lager were also delicious. Will definitely be going back-- and next time I think I'll try the nachos.

They have their own beer there too which I always like to see. Good location, easy to get to. I got the Hot Brown turkey sandwich (without tomato; pictured), while others in my group got the philly cheese steak and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Everyone cleaned their plate and was satisfied with the amount of food served.

Just ate at the Junction 59 and I must say I was impressed. The new menus had just came in and I saw the managers doing a meeting with the employees about it. I was told to try the new Mac and Cheese by my server Syma and it was scrumptious. I am going to come back for the Blue Plate specials. Full and not thirsty anymore. Syma was great. I eat out a lot and this place is organized and obviously well cared for.

Food was absolutely delicious, The fat boy was better then le burger week winner Brazen Hall Kitchen & Brewery. The country fried chicken was absolutely amazing so moist the potatoes were great and corn was decent, one thing that was noticable is I didn't have to reach for the salt and pepper everything was thoughtfully seasoned. The Mini corn dogs batter was great just the way it should be. And the wings were great I prefer breaded and then sauced but to each their own. Can't wait to go back UPDATE: NEW YEARS DAY DINNER WITH FRIENDS a group of 10 all seated together at a large table comfortably, everyone's appetizers came out at the same time and everyone's meals arrived the same time, everyone enjoyed their meals which says alot when it's 10 people.

My son is coming in from Brandon next weekend, thinking of taking him and the kids here. Told him not to move out to Brandon. I will be sharing my dining experience at Junction 59 Roadhouse located at 1615 Regent Avenue West, sit in restaurant. I am here to share my experience with my fellow Google users. Google review is good resource I use to get an idea of the establishment I am considering dining at. Food: I ordered the chicken dish, which came with fried chicken covered in a delicious, creamy white sauce. I would like a little more contrast between the breading and the chicken – maybe a little more crispy breading with the already tender chicken. Do not get me wrong, the chicken dish was delicious. Along with the main chicken came some potatoes that were seasoned to perfection, a loaf of cornbread, and one other thing I think I may be forgetting. Maybe carrots? Maybe some broccoli or salad. Now that I think about it I don’t think it’s salad. I believe it was the carrots or the broccoli. I think broccoli. Can’t remember completely. I tried to think of some area of improvement but I could not. The entire dish was delicious. Along with the chicken dish I ordered the popcorn prawns, I wanted something I could take home with me. I’m getting too old to be cooking for myself all the time and I’ve earned a little take home treat. Thought the popcorn prawns would be good hand food to eat while I watch the Jets. Probably good with the Bombers too but they’re enjoying their offseason as Grey Cup Champs (Go bombers go). So I’ll have to wait until the Winnipeg Blue Bombers football season starts up again before I see how the popcorn prawns are watching the blue bombers. But I’m sure they would be good with the bombers game. The popcorn prawns were delicious. Nice crisp coating with a nice pinkish white prawn awaiting inside. I think there was some sort of lemon seasoning on as well. Very light, did not impede with the strength of the popcorn prawns though. They were delicious. I think they had some sort of light lemon seasoning on them. Very delicious. Came with a pinkish/red dipping sauce. A little smoky tasting. Complimented the popcorn prawns well. The food surprised me. Delicious, tasty, great food. Very delicious. 10/10 for the food. Service: Now this is where the establishment blew my socks off. I was told by a friendly gal at the front to sit myself wherever I pleased in the lounge. The lounge had many seats so I was initially overwhelmed. Did not know to pick by the window or a little more private. Opted for the window. Was a good choice. I was greeted by a different gal from the one that had sat me. I think the name was Katarina or Katrina. I believe it was Katarina. Names get a little jumbled in my head nowadays. I think it was Katarina. She was kind and very peppy, but seemed genuine all the while. Great service, made me feel like a part of the establishment, not just a customer. The food was quick. the drinks were quick. The plating of the foods were impeccable. If I could give my server and this establishment a rating of 11/10 for a rating, I would! But that would render the denominator of 10 kind of pointless if I was to rate outside of the scale. What is the point of rating something greater than the greatest available rating. I do not like that. So I will give it a 10/10. But remember if I could give it 11/10 I would but I can’t so I will give it 10/10. Overall, Junction 59 Roadhouse really is the cats meow. I will give it a rating of 5 stars out of 5 on the google review and will give it a personal rating of 10/10. If I had to estimate, I would say the likeliness of me taking my son and the kids out to this restaurant when he comes in from Brandon I would say the likeliness is high. Happy Dining - Norm M.

My boyfriend and I visited here last night for dinner. We were promptly seated in the lounge when we first arrived. The establishment was fairly steady on both sides, but this did not seem to impact service. The server who looked after us in the lounge was very attentive, when needed but not overly in your face which is appreciated. I was torn between two items on the menu, and she was able to suggest her favourite of the two which was the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. I'm very glad I listened to her because it was delicious. My boyfriend opted for their daily special, which was the Country Fried Chicken with a glass of their Pilsner. He really enjoyed his meal, and the beer was also very tasty. We look forward to returning to try more menu items and to take a dab at that hot sauce wall.

First time trying- food was pretty good overall. The kids menu meals come with a float which is a different option then typical ice cream. The hot rock fajitas were great. Husband had the steak and shrimp which were disappointing shrimp looked like it came out of a high lander box and steak was not appealing. Would try it again for an appetizer night. Waitress was great and on top of drinks however can’t say the same for the manager - same guy that ran moxies but spent most of his time sitting at a VLT super inappropriate for customers to see

On this visit I didn't enjoy some of the menu items I tried. Avacado wedges we're very tasty and plentiful. Shrimp we're lightly battered and plentiful Chicken fingers were large but I thought over battered Next visit I am going to try the turkey sandwich. It's supposed to be very good.

Came in last week and was greeted by a lovely girl named Audrey I believe. She sat us in the spot that worked best for us and took the time to explain the specials and answered all questions we had. She recommended some options to my daughter who is a picky eater which she ended up enjoying. We were also informed that many of the items on the menu could be adjusted to fit our preferences since every thing is made in the house - good to hear. Very rare to come across a hostess that cares and takes the time to make your experience that much better. Our server Jade was in a bit of a rush but was very friendly. Our food came out in a timely manner and drinks were always refilled. All around amazing first impression I highly recommend this new little joint!

Sat for 15-20 mins in the lounge with a 4 some, and not one person asked us for drinks. The gross, sticky and stained menus with sharpie marker lines were also a nice touch! They must love that their staff just hangs out at a table yacking away while customers sit and wait to spend money lol what a joke this place is.

Had a very good dinner here! We had the popcorn prawns which were delicious. I got soup & salad, while my s/o got the Mac and cheese. My Caesar salad was delicious with very fresh homemade croutons, and a good amount of dressing. The soup was tortilla and it was good, better with the garlic Texas toast they provided! The Mac and cheese was so cheesy, and my husband couldn’t even finish it. We also ordered two beverages (I got the spiked peach iced tea or something he got the field of dreams) both very delicious and refreshing. Service was friendly and comforting, and food came out fairly quickly. Will definitely be back!

Please disregard the positive reviews of this place. I doubt they will last more than a few months. We visited this joint last night. Wanted to eat in the bar. There were 4 servers behind the bar busy visiting. 2 hostesses doing nothing. After telling one of the hostesses we would like to eat in the bar we went in and sat down. Within 2 minutes the hostess came over very upset, She lectured to me that we cannot just go in without her assigning a table. She stated that is their rule and we must follow the rules. She left and after about 15 minutes we were still waiting for a server. They were busy chatting behind the bar. There were not many customers in the restaurant. We walked towards the bar and the hostess said we were waiting as the server for that table had not started her shift HIH??? They just do not know how to run a restaurant. We went next door to Boston Pizza and had a great server and a nice meal. Forget about Junction 59. I gave it one star as you have to have at least one. Actually it is no star The owner/partner,Kris, went out of his way to try and make things right. we returned to the restaurant last night. The food was fantastic and the service was superb. We will return again in the near future. Thanks Kris!!

Was here for lunch yesterday, our first time, and we were very impressed with the food and service. Stephanie was an attentive server, accommodating our special requests, and even split our desert onto 2 plates because she heard me say that my husband would eat my ice cream for me. No need to use salt and pepper, as the food is perfectly seasoned. My husband had the country fried chicken - OMG, it was off the hook delicious! Kris is a super nice guy, and a great boss, according to Stephanie. Pleasing his customers is obviously his top priority. We will be back! Only sorry we didn't know about Junction 59 Roadhouse until now.

The food was tasty and fresh. The chicken fingers were solid breast and served piping hot with honey dill sauce. My hubby had the fatboy and said it was delicious. The fries are shoestring style and tasted awesome. The staff was friendly and attentive and we had a few special requests and they made it happen. It's a great atmosphere and my family and I loved it. We will definitely be back!

We had been at the patio for 2 hours, we ordered food and drinks. We were told to come inside if we wanted to stay and, again, ordered more food and drinks. We stayed 1.5 hours inside. The on-site manager then came up to us and asked how long we were gonna be because they had other people to seat at the bar. She then said if we wanted to stay longer we needed to order more food. She explained that the only way they can serve additional drinks is if they are ordered with food, even though we had ordered food twice already. When I asked what the rules were for the ratio of drinks to food she told me 4:1. I could not find this rule anywhere in the liquor laws. Covid rules only state we must order a meal in order to be served drinks, which we did. We were given an ultimatum to order food a third time or leave. Extremely unprofessional and not impressed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!!

Delicious. I've been there a few times and I love it. The food is great, the service is amazing, and the atmosphere is homey. Their steaks are a bit pricy, but the rest of their food is very reasonably priced. The portions they give are perfect. I'm able to finish my meal without feeling too full. Menu is a bit small but I cannot recommend this place enough

I take my mom in-law who is 93 and her 90 year old sister shopping and lunch every Tuesday. I always want to try somewhere different. So I took them here. The host was amazing took us in right away and moved MIL walker somewhere close. Serving staff came immediately to take our drink order and then back a few minutes later for our food order. The food was so good and so fresh. The BLT is so good the French fries are delicious. MIL said the chicken fingers were delicious. And my sister had the pasta. Such good food Aunty Elsie also also had a salad and poutine was shared with her sister. Everything was so delicious, the raspberry brownie was moist and delicious and gluten free. I highly recommend this place to everyone...it was also amazing that Chef Ryan came out to see how everything was. MIL and aunty thought that was one of the best things was meeting him. I will definitely be back.

Amazing experience here, I had the molcajete bowl, boyfriend had the junction fatboy burger. Delicious, unique food, everything super flavorful. Got told that everything on the menu is homemade, because this is not a chain restaurant. Made me love it even more!! It was my first time at Junction 59. The service was excellent. The girls were very attentive, caring, and friendly . They made sure that everything was ok. The menu is not that extensive ,but that means less food on the shelf going to waste. Seemed a little pricey on the menu but once you were served , the portions were large and very tasty. We had to ask for take-out packages to bring home with us. And no room for the dessert. Again , a little pricey for me but very generous portions ,so it makes up for it. I would definitely recommend you visit and give it a try ! People have to eat somewhere ????They also have a bar with specials and an outdoor patio ????
