Can't beat the price and the food is pretty good. The only concern is how long it's been sitting for lol. 6.99 for butter chicken, rice and a samosa is a great deal. Also the garlic naan bread is amazing.

Ordered for the first time through Skip. Food was delicious. Great portions and fantastic taste. The only thing I would expect better of was the temperature. Food was cooler than I would have liked. Nothing a few seconds in the microwave didn't fix. Happy to support this local business after they stepped up to help the community.

Food poison!!! Stay away. My husband ordered butter chicken and everyone who ate it was food poisoned. I ended up at the hospital, my whole body was numb and started tingling after going in the washroom and i passed out! And i was brought to the hospital through an ambulance because i can barely breathe. I still feel nauseous while im writing this at the hospital bed! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT!!!!

In the midst of our first winter storm of the year, Desi's has stepped up and are delivering food to those in Winnipeg affected by the power outages. Kudos to you and what a beautiful gesture!

This place has amazing butter chicken (honestly best in the city), when the right person makes it. Key to success is consistency and lately their recipe is all over the map. Today i had some tangy/sour butter chicken, just not good. I give 5 stars because I know how good this place can be. Hopefully the owners read this and can do something about following the same recipe every day.

The food at Desi Pizza & Curries is exquisite! Far superior to other East Indian food outlets. A MUST try is the fish pakora! Unbelievably good. Order it 30 mins ahead of you're picking it up. Also, their Thali "Combo Plates" are SO good, if you want a good mix of Indian food to try. The freshness, the flavours - exceptional. Comes with fresh made naan bread as well. You should order it ahead as well, if you are picking your own order up. The pizza is superb! We've tried various ones, and they are just excellent. The owner has a great attitude and commitment to fresh food - farm to table. They are truly passionate about their food. Keep up the great work!

Never make their food on time if they tell you to come after 20 mins means atleast an hour. This is second time it happened we waited 45 min for 1 pound fish when it was not busy.

My family and I used to love coming here for a quick dinner. Our experiences have been far from great lately. Oftentimes the restaurant says open but they've decided to close. The staff is rude. Rice is overcooked and bland.

We love this place for many reasons. The first is that my hubby can have his favourite pizza and I can have my curried goat. They do both beautifully at a price that's incredible. Portions are generous , service friendly and communication good although not perfect. They have never messed up. Pick up if you are in hurry, as delivery can take forever but they tell you that. Their specials are a real bargain. Have yet to try their fried chicken. If it's as good as the rest, you could please a lot of people, without having to pick up from 3 different places. Some of their pizza combos sound strange but we love the butter chicken pizza , ask for cilantro on top and the cauliflower (yes!) is a fave. Great local treasure.

Everytime I have ordered from here I find a thick black hair cooked into something.. one was right inside the pizza crust the other time it was in the potato wedge batter. I've given up on going here which is unfortunate because their food is really delicious but the thought of eating the cooks hair makes me loose my appetite ????

I have driven past here many times. I was finally able to stop in at 8 pm on a Monday night. I had a combo plate. Less than $15.00 The basmati rice was tasty. 3 options I chose with it were curry goat- tender and delicious. Better chicken. Good size pieces of chicken. And a peppered beef. Tender and tasty. Choice of a samosa or a drink. The samosa was very tasty. A tad dry but the container of sauce with it added to the texture and the flavor I will return again as I found all aspects of the food to be delicious.

I ordered through skip the dishes a goat Biryani. I had only only one piece of meat the rest was just fat. Also, the cheese Naan had barely some cheese on top. It tastes just like a regular Naan. I wasted money on this meal that I was soo excited about!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!! My husband and I WAITED FOR 45 MINS because some of the food went bad. The cashier told my husband that the veggie samosas also went bad. When we told the cashier how we were waiting for that long, she was not apologetic at all. All we can hear in the back was her saying 45 mins and laughing out loud! Also, they changed their containers, they are using smaller sizes now and increased their prices. A large container is the size of medium container and they are about $25 each. Also, there was not much meat in any of the dishes. The flavor of the food tastes good but is NOT WORTH $25 PER CONTAINER and the 45 MIN WAIT!

Review update: while a few years ago we loved their veggie curries and friendly staff, their quality has taken a hit. We’ve tried a few times over the past 6 months and have been disappointed by grey, sad looking curry, watered down sauce, and grumpy staff. There had been chunks of tofu in the chana masala - why?? Samosa are still awesome at a great price.
