We popped in for Taco Tuesday on the recommendation of a friend. Greeted with a wave, seated at the bar, and fed some of the best taco's we've had in a while. The bartender was fun to talk to and kept us topped up on whatever we needed. An awesome place and we will definitely be back!

This is a great place, I came here with a few friends and had appetizers with beer. It was pretty good but the one thing I did not like is how small the place is, means limited seating and this happened in August 2019 for reference.

Went there dring taco Tuesday. The tacos ranged from $3 to$4 each. The tacos are really good, made with fresh ingredients. The restaurant has an open air patio and is on a quiet street corner in Downtown Kelowna. It has nice atmosphere and the staff are attentive. I would recommend.

Some of the best happy hour drink specials in town. My only complaint would be that there are no happy hour food specials and most of the items on the menu are $15+. There's been a couple times where I've seen people order a side of fries just to have something to munch on. It would be amazing if they could offer something to eat that's a bit more affordable during those times. The calamari was good but the portion sizes are quite small for what you pay. The servers are always friendly and attentive which is awesome.

Was a pretty good meal, and the environment was nice. My burger did come with the wrong cheese, and the bun was a bit hard. The patty was very good though. The fries too. At the end of the meal we asked for the bill and that took about 15 minutes to arrive.

Hands down my favourite spot for a bite and drink in town. The Flask Burger is out-of-this-world good and really difficult not to order every time considering how delicious the entire menu is. Finally got a chance to try the brunch last weekend and I was thoroughly impressed. Staff there is always super friendly and the environment is just perfect for me as I generally prefer places that are a bit smaller and intimate.

Their beef dip was advertised to be made of prime rib roast. It looked and tasted more like outside round roast and was a bit dry. Au jus was good but would not order this entrée again. (I worked at a meat dept in the past and very familiar with my cuts. Not only that, rib eye/prime rib is my favorite cut and will never mistaken it for something else) Fish and chips was good, would order again. Their caesars I would rate 7/10 Other than that everything else was good.

Over the years I have sadly watched the steady decline of this spot. A once vibrant local hidden gem has turned into a run down hole in the wall with a tired chef. While the menu may change slightly from time to time the ingredients remain the same and the fryer WELL over used. If you're looking for fresh, locally sourced ingredients this is NOT the spot for you. The saddest part for me is to watch the way the owners manage/treat their staff. They just lost their star employee who, to an outsider, would look like the owner as that is how much care she put into her job and FSH. I have personally sat at the bar and watched the owner berate his staff, calling them idiots IN FRONT of customers. Multiple times. To say the least its unprofessional and to say the most its borderline abusive. There are so many AMAZING, local restaurants and bars that I urge you to try before this one. I will definitely not be supporting a business run like this anymore.

Rude staff. Brought the bill and threw it on the table. We hadn't even asked for it! Uncomfortable chairs, the bench around the wall makes you slide off. The tables don't pull up close to the bench. Obnoxious TVs that were loudly playing commercials. House beer was watered down. Avoid.

This is a great little out of the way pub that's right downtown and close to the water. The patio doubles the capacity in the summer which is nice. Food is always good and the service is great. One of our go-to places.

My "Branch Office". Almost exactly half way between my condo and downtown office, I am a regular here. I love to meet with clients here for lunch or drinks, and it's a favourite watering hole of my friends and I in the evenings and weekends. Great looking and friendly staff, reminds me of the old "Cheers" from television, "where everybody knows your name". The kitchen is first-class and the daily food specials are a great deal!

I was there on a Tuesday and had their tacos. They were pretty big for their price but weren't that tasty, unfortunately. The cheese tasted cheap and kind of ruined the whole thing. Their lime iced margarita wasn't the greatest either. Still, service was friendly.

We had a lovely brunch. The food was plentiful and had great variety on their breakfast special - especially the waffles and fruit. The mimosas were cold and delicious. Downtown location close to where we needed to be. Service and seating are great. I will try this place out for dinner next time. I do recommend the brunch on the weekend.

I have eaten here many times, and the service is always sub par. Drinks are often left empty for a long time. The inside of the restaurant is very small and during the winter feels very crowded and loud. The food is good but the price point is very high for the portions.

Wanted wings on a Thursday and ended up here for their wing night. Delicious. Nice and crispy. Our Jug of Beer was ice cold and the service was great. We will be back to try more of their wonderful looking food in the future

Worst customer service I've experienced in over 20 years in kelowna, took my mom to their patio where I sat for over an hour and a half! Waiting for 2 sandwiches. Ended up paying for the 2 drinks and leaving. Which they did not apologize for the extreme delay once. The people beside us got their food and it was so cold the cheese had hardened. If I could give a 0 stars I would.

Wow. The owner needs a lesson in customer service. The burger I ordered was not at all what I was expecting, nor wanted. Maybe its due to their over fancy menu names? Anyway.. I politely asked for it to be returned.. it was sloppy and making a mess and just uneatable. I asked for it to be taken off the menu..and after much discussion the owner said he could give us 25% off...no no... I said I wouldnt be paying for it. After another drawn out ordeal ..and an EYEROLL...he agreed...we went to pay and he left the "side of fries" on the bill. Seriously? Not only were my fries not fresh, and were the little bits and pieces left over... but reaally??? You couldnt take the whole meal off my bill?? We told him that wasnt exactly a good move as an OWNER ..but w.e He then went to ahead and did take the fries off not after one last dig telling us, he was sorry we had a bad experience here.. but now "WE made HIM have a bad day" wow. its disappointing, I wanted to enjoy this place..def will not be back.

Fsh is a nice restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff were quite friendly. I went in for Brunch and was a little disappointed by the limited selection. It is Benny heavy. I don't mind them but it's not usually my go to. Another concern I had was that the croissant base was not the flaky pastry one would expect. It was hard. It was difficult to cut through with a knife, let alone chew. It was disappointing to say the least. Their potatoes were delightful though. I am sure there are many other options on the menu that would have been a better option. But as for Brunch, I will likely not return.

Ultimately the food took over 45 minutes to arrive, all arriving at different times. The food was bad, most of us in the group complained. The burgers were overcooked, fries too, food was cold and salad was old. Bad food experience. Our server was a nice enough guy and I felt had for him taking the food complaints as it's not his fault. Although, since I work in a restaurant myself, if someone had complained that much I would have discounted much more of the food or even completely removed it from the bill. Never had to complain in a restaurant before but a first for everything!

Great little place in my neighbourhood. Too bad about the music volume. It's just to loud for having a conversation. Hey peeps - it should be restaurant volume not music hall volume. And why are the staff so reluctant to turn the volume down a titch? We asked 4 times, and he still didn't do it. So it's hard to imagine we''ll be going back anytime soon before the patio is open.

My sister and I tried to have lunch there today. Upon arrival we were told that they had run out of yams, rice, fish and chips and a couple of others items. After we waited for over 15 minutes to order by waving the server down. 45 minutes and no lunch yet. It appears that our server forgot to order our meals. We were there for 50 minutes and didn’t get our meals. We left - I won’t be back.

My wife and I went here for brunch and had the best food in a long time in a Kelowna restaurant. The steak and eggs had a real steak, thick and juicy and done to perfection. My wife had the special of the day and it was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was just great. The mimosas were on special that day for $5. The prices were excellent value for food made fresh by an obviously talented and passionate chef. Great place and we highly recommend it.

Came here for a gender reveal after party.. food was mediocre.. service was average. The kicker was we had 2 tables of 4 because of covid and they automatically charged us 18% gratuity without mentioning to us. After a couple paid we realized we were tiping in the exces of 30%. When we brought it up to the server, she was rude and hesitant on refunding the extra tip charge.

Worst experience ever. We went to the Flask Social House today…terrible. They were obviously short staff. After about 15 minutes we were able to order drinks and took the opportunity to order food at the same time. We waited about ONE hour for our food, and were the told that would still be a while. We decided to leave, and had thought maybe our two beers were on the house..but NO.. Will never go back, sorry to say.

Currently its 823pm and we are at the patio eating our food. As you can see in the picture the potatoes are still raw... friend ordered steak bites. Didnt taste like steak.. buffalo wings came with 2 sauces covered instead of just coming as side dished and waitress told us thats how its suppose to be made.. understand new management and staff but just a terrible experience and meals will not return

This place used to have the most legendary eggs benny poutine with aged white cheddar and a taste that is never forgotten.... now it's apparently a sloppy standard poutine with cheese curds and 2 poached eggs on top. Had to send it back it was so sloppy. Hope they realize they are ruining their good name with these low quality pass offs.

It was date night. We had been wanting to try this place. Started with fish tacos to share.. they were ok. I ordered thai bowl, was a little weird tasting, but whatever. My husband got a cheese burger and garlic parmesan fries. When he found a hair in his food.. we were done. He had finished most of his meal at the point, and was about halfway done. My husband told the server, that he was grossed out, and we wanted our bill. I certainly wasn't about to continue eating. The bill came, full price.. shocked that they charged him for his meal, but to charge price? Wow! The food was not worth the money to begin with.. but to have it come with hair too? Do yourself a favour, eat somewhere else.

We tried FSH for the first time this weekend and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, the gentleman that helped us was knowledgeable and friendly and we found the service to be pretty quick. I thought there was a good selection of food and drink for reasonable prices. We both had the fish taco's and thought they were delicious.

Do not recommend. Overpriced, mediocre food. Ordered the beef burger which starts at $14.75, if you want cheese on your burger it's going to be an additional $2...Burger patty did not even fill out the bun, it was more the size of a slider and lacked flavor. We also ordered a cajun wrap that was very disappointing. Waitress was awkward and it was very dead inside, I can see why, will not be back.

Nice little place with an interesting and unique menu. Might be slightly more expensive than other places but the quality is higher. Not very big on the inside and a very large outdoor seating area in the summer. Friendly staff and quick service both with drinks and food.

I'm sorry, I really tried to give FSH a chance. I really am not the type to waste time on negative reviews online, but this place consistently fails to impress. First time I went was a few years ago, maybe the year after they opened and I swore I would never go back at that point. The charcuterie was overpriced for being made up entirely of Costco items (I mean everything, every piece of cheese, cracker, and meat was all Costco stuff) although it said on the menu locally sourced! I am not sure if that is still the case with the charcuterie, however between that and the service at the time I figured FSH wasn't going to last. Fast forward to a few weeks ago and since I was in the area decided to stop for happy hour. The experience wasn't any better - Grumpy and slow server, hardly any options for happy hour, and way over-salted and unexciting food. I didn't finish my food and had two house lagers, tipped and paid and left. I returned one last time yesterday, again being in the area and looking for something quick and easy. Last straw. The spinich & onion dip on the menu for $16 was absolutely the saltiest dish I have ever received when dining out, and consisted of a block of cheese melted in with a package of dehydrated french onion soup and tortilla chips on the side. It was nasty. I ate what I could because I was starving but really shouldn't have because I've been suffering ever since, and I can generally eat anything. Again with slow service and "sad" options for "happy" hour. I'm sorry guys but I am absolutely over the pandemic excuses for sloppy service and sub-par food. Everyone should be on their A-game as far as service and quality goes in order to keep attracting customers, not treating people as if their visit to the establishment is an inconvenience or waste of your time. Especially a small establishment, which was not crowded and seemed to have plenty of staff on each time I was there. I cannot recommend FSH and definitely will not be going back. 3 strikes, 1 star.

It's a small place and even when it's slow it hard to get proper service, the servers here really shouldn't be servers b/c they don't know how to prioritize or understand the fundamentals of serving. There is one guy bartender and he's definitely their saving grace, if it wasnt for him this place would be doomed.

Brunch... the best brunch I’ve had let alone in Kelowna. Farm to plate fresh mmmm. Have the Bacon Benny wow! A few people told us we had to try FSH for brunch, it didn’t disappoint. Great patio too. License plate wall in the washroom was a cool touch. The service was fast and super friendly. Did I say the food was fresh... enjoy ????????

An embarrassment to the restaurant industry in Kelowna . Went there for Wing night . My boyfriend ordered a fish tacos and received the most barren tacos I’ve ever seen for 15 dollars the size of fish waa less then an inch long and pathetic . We complained and the owner said the best he could do was buy him a beer . A table of ten in an empty restaurant it took a very long time to get wings and sauces . Although very meaty some were unbelievably bland . Getting a drink was a chore . Such a disappointment will not be returning

Went there for fish tacos and they ran out of it. No big deal I just wish they would have said so before we ordered drinks, since we went out for fish tacos. We ordered our food and waited over 40 minutes to get it, and after no one came to ask if everything was alright. Overpriced food in my opinion, but not the point. Service was poor and music was way too loud to have a conversation. I ordered the cheese plate and it came with 8 grapes, which was disappointing. The cheese was also crusty from sitting outside the fridge & uncovered for too long. Few things to improve for this restaurant but not my worst experience.

I'm hesitant to leave a review at all because it's kind of a special, tiny place right in my neighborhood... But it's great! Very friendly and professional service. Fun food. Decent beverage selection. It's more like what you would find on a hip Vancouver street like 12th or Commercial Drive... Something community-oriented instead of tourist-oriented. It's quite refreshing for Kelowna.

We tried taco Tuesday here. The margaritas were decent... Tacos fair priced but they were a bit like something you could make at home. 3 tortillas containing some plain chopped lettuce with some seasoned chicken on top. Bag cheese and salsa/sour cream on the side. Did the job but wasn't overly impressed.

Came here for brunch- no brunch because they ran out of the brunch food? Terrible service we were told to only order deep fried food as the wait could be an hour or more…. We came here for brunch not a bunch of deep fried food. We were willing to be patient and wait at which point she didn’t want to even take our food order. One server, one person in the kitchen and one bartender I understand that being understaffed is tough but this place clearly needs much better management. Very disappointing and we will not be back! I would not recommend this place- So many great spots to eat in Kelowna with fabulous food and staff. This is not one of them. *due to owners response- lots of small capacity restaurants are open with great food, service and friendly management. This is not an excuse.

It doesn’t take much to offer good service. Try greeting your customer a little quicker. 15 minutes to even have someone ask if I’d been helped yet and when I said no she just turned around to walk away. I stopped her and asked if if she could help me and she said no she was too busy. It was honestly the most awkward exchange. A different server eventually came over and took our drink and wing order but 20 minutes went by with nothing so when I stopped her to ask about the drinks she said she forgot to ring it all in. She was kind about it so we asked her to rush it since we had somewhere to be. She finally brings out the food and it’s not what we ordered. We had other plans so didn’t bother telling her it was wrong because we just needed to leave. We should have turned away when we first walked up and some other table was complaining to their server about not getting their food. If it’s under new management please for the sake of your business train your staff or get new staff.

Great downtown location with a large patio. The food is the attraction here - excellent quality and well prepared. Definitely a cut above most restaurants of this style. Everything I’ve tried here has been a pleasure. I often go for the daily lunch specials. They make a really good Bloody Caesar too. The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is the service...very friendly but a bit slow and somewhat disorganized.

The food quality was exceptionally poor; I was really looking forward to going here but was highly disappointed. I ordered the chicken burger however it was so over cooked you couldn't see the chicken anymore. Our server was ok when serving the table however she (and the majority of the staff) seemed more interested in entertaining themselves than doing their job. For example, at one point the background music was turned way up and our server started dancing behind the bar? Why this seems like an appropriate or professional thing to do while at work is beyond me. Following this volume increase three other tables asked to have the volume turned down; however it wasn't turned down and the dancing continued... Won't be going back.

Sat outside with a last minute opening on the patio during lockdown. Happened to be wing night, which turned out to be fantastic. Their quality of wings is excellent, reminds me of the type of juicy morsels that were in abundance 20 years ago, rather than the dried up mini bones with a bit of skin that many other places now offer. When next in Kelowna, I will definitely return.

I had mushroom Avo toast and partner had the blue burger but with a beyond meat pattie. Everything was excellent quality and properly cooked. Beyond meat is usually way over cooked. I like soft poached eggs and mine were spot on. The potatoes with the brunch menu are absolutely delicious. Service was great and not intrusive.
