The service wasn't that good. We waited for someone to refill our coffee for 30min but that didn't happen. When u go to a breakfast restaurant the least they can do is to make sure u have coffee. The food was good and fresh I enjoyed it. I might go back again. Hopefully the service is better this time

The cutest little location for breakfast on the patio! Close to the water so you get a nice refreshing breeze will you sip your coffee and enjoy the view. Their food is to die for and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Will most definitely be going back!

We went here for a late brunch and tried the "breakfast poutine" and the "green eggs and ham". Loved it. Absolutely loved every aspect of the meal. This restaurant is nothing short of amazing. Everything is made fresh and their love of good food shows in everything that comes out of the kitchen.

I frequent sunnys almost weekly, Always bringing my mask (I fully support masks though I always sit on the outside patio so it’s unnecessary) . Today unfortunately I forgot my mask in the car and their large patio on the street was closed to my surprise. Thankfully their main, smaller patio was open with room. To my surprise the hostess informs me that with no mask I cannot even sit on the patio or “ use their facility in any way”. My table would have been literally 3 feet away from the entrance and OUTSIDE but with attitude I was told no mask no service. Considering I even expressed my regret for forgetting my mask, expressing my support for masks, and expressing my confusion on why I couldn’t dine outdoors when I’ll never enter the indoor portion of the restaurant, I was turned away with not only attitude but being laughed at by staff and patrons already on the outdoor patio. I SUPPORT MASKS, SIMPLY FORGOT MINE ONCE AND WAS TRYING TO EAT OUTDOORS WHERE I NEVER ENTER THE BUILDING!! It’s fantastic you’re going above and beyond to this extreme making up your own rules but because of this you’ve lost a loyal customer who even fully supports all Mask rules

Excellent food, environment and service. Exceptional gem for the city. Having brunch here was a highlight. The food was delicious with great flavour. The staff were a great bunch, efficient and friendly. The ambiance and music choice was frosting on the cake. Diners are hard to come by these days; I highly recommend checking on Sunny's for its eclectic atmosphere and good food.

Hands down some of the best food I've tasted at an all day breakfast place. The chef 100% knows what he/she is doing. Highly recommend the El Presidente with both options of meat if you mess with that. Alex and Christina are great servers also!

Sunny's has the whole cool factor going on but he real thing about Sunny's is that the food flavors have been carefully and wonderfully choreographed. Each bite brings a parade of glorious flavors and textures. Yes, textures. Crispy here and there, soft in just the right places. Ingredients are fresh. Portions are good. Service is professional and prompt. This is no ordinary menu. You will be impressed.

Awesome little breakfast place in downtown Kelowna. The servers are very attentive and the inside decor adds to the ambience. The girlfriend ordered a breakfast bowl and I ordered a whammy sandwich. Both were flavourful and the price was reasonable. I would stop by again if I was in Kelowna. Love all the flags on the wall of the places in Canada.

Our hunger pangs were on full tilt, but we agreed to shackle our tummy's demands for the one (1) hour wait that was required to get a table at Sunny's. Sooner than expected we were called & seated in the outdoor dining area on Bernard Street. We started with a gigantic 3oz Big Dog Bacon Ceasar each that the pictures describe better than I can! My gf said it was THE BEST Ceasar she's ever tasted! And I certainly can't recall a better one either! She chose the breakfast poutine while I chose the "As seen on Food Network Canada" Chicks on a Raft. Both were outstanding choices and ranked in out top 3 breakies for sure! Worth seeking out and worth the wait! ????????????????????????

Excellent experience at Sunny's! We got to sit along the bar for breakfast and were able to enjoy watching the chefs at work. Staff was attentive and the head chef spoke to us directly while we at. Food was delicious and would Certainly recommend visiting Sunny's if you are in Kelowna. Come early as it gets busy :)

Bro, the beach was too hot, so I rolled into this spot, they gave me beer and these epic french toast with cheese and a poached egg on top. O it was so buttery and mapled and this beer is called dinosaur. You already, instictually, know by now if this is your best spot ever. Nothing else need be said. Love it!

The food and service was great. This breakfast might be one of the top 5 tastiest breakfasts I had in BC. The waiting line is too long in the weekends. I called in advance to book a table, but no one answered, so we just had to wait for a free table for 45 minutes. It kinda worth it though.

I ate here with 3 friends and we were all disappointed with the quality of the food. Our server was very rude to the point of being quite aggressive practically throwing our receipts at us. They came over to ask how we wanted our bills before we had even finished our food. The whole experience felt rushed and was not relaxing. The only thing I did enjoy was the milkshake.

Got asked to leave because we brought in a high chair for my 1 year old daughter. We asked for a manager and she apologized to us multiple times however the damage was already done. My wife and I have been to thousands of restaurants and this has never happened. We were absolutely shocked and I don’t care what their excuse will be this is unacceptable.

Our favourite breakfast place in BC. My partner and I always make sure to hit Sunnys when we are in Kelowna. Everything on the menu Is absolutly amazing. Its always super busy though since it is so good, so be prepared to wait for a bit downtown and they will call you when a table is ready :) Always worth the wait.

Really great service, and very yummy food ! Hashbrowns were delicious and not greecy. The chicken on waffles were really good ???? Even the vinaigrette on the salad was perfect. They're busy but it's worth the wait.

Honestly incredible. I had the Benny (with a side of rosemary sausage because of the reviews here) and wife had a skillet of sort, hers was hearty and much too large of a portion for her. Mine was clearly home made hollandaise and likely one of the best Benny's I've had (my first choice at breakfast diners). A+ will most definitely be returning when were in town again

Sunny’s was such a great spot for Sunday morning brunch. They told us it was a 45 minute wait but we only waited 20 minutes. They also take your number and call you when your table is ready, so you don’t have to stand around outside. The restaurant is small but very cute. We sat at the bar and were able to watch the cooks making everyone’s food ???????? . Our food was so tasty and different to typical breakfast items. My husband had a Caesar and really enjoyed it as well. Service was good and efficient.

Been wanting to try this place since they opened but there’s always a huge line so I never bothered. Only reason I went today was because there was no line and we happened to be in the area. Food was spectacular! Service was very friendly and professional. One of the best breakfast meals I’ve ever had. I’ll come back.. unless there’s a line.

Was a new experience for me as I was only in town for the night but I'm soo glad I found it, super cozy little diner with incredibly good food and service. You might have to wait on the weekends but it's definitely worth it, the quality and originality of the dishes is fantastic. Looking forward to getting back there again someday and trying out more of their menu.

Not surprised there is a lineup for brunch! We walked the gorgeous Kelowna pier while we waited for our seat and it soooo worth it. Such a fun and unique vibe! Homemade cheez whiz celery as a Ceasar garnish??? So yummy! It was especially nice to see the staff kindly checking in on one another as they kept up with the rush. Such a well oiled machine. Thank you team for a great experience - we will definitely be back!

From out of town, and decided to stop by since there was a long wait time at our first choice. Was not disappointed, the food was amazing (ordered the waffle with fresh berries and mascapone along with the salmon benny); but beyond that the kitchen staff was super helpful in recommending me with certain dishes (even though she was super busy!).

Sunny's has a comfortable patio set up for the summer that provides good social distancing and allows you to take in the downtown and beach atmosphere while dining. The server, who's sense of humor could strike some people the wrong way, sporadically appeared and did not perform any quality checks. Milkshake was delicious but the coffee tasted hours old. The breakfast itself was fresh and flavorful but the presentation of the dishes left something to be desired.

Best brunch in town. You have to try the bennies—the egg yolks are a rich golden brown and ooze with flavour. The hash browns are different from what I’m used to—less crispy and more mushy, but I happen to like that texture, so it was fine. The breakfast poutine is very rich, accompanied by three healthy pumps of sous vide hollandaise. The restaurant is named after the owner’s dog Sunny. Super adorable!

Took my Mom for breakfast, she had eggs and toast and I had sausage, eggs, toast and hash browns. You better be hungry, best sausage ever, very good shredded hash browns and awesome waitresses.Awesome decor in my opinion. Support your local small businesses.Highly recommended.

Every time my bf and I come to have breakfast they tell us that it’s a 40min - 1h wait just to sit down, I assumed that it’s because of reservations as when you look around there’s usually places to sit. Then they tell us that “you can’t make reservations here” then continues to ask us if we want to be put on a list a long with other people who are waiting.. that’s a reservation lol. Maybe one day we will get to try, definitely not a walk in restaurant!!

Great little place to grab breakfast and enjoy people watching. They have a patio right across the water. Good service. A bit on a expensive side but the location is worth it. Be ready to spend some time looking for a parking space, it's not easy. Ham steak breakfast is huge!
