This was the only place my wife and I did our dates here for about 7 years. Top dishes for me are the gnocchi and the hamburger with egg, mushrooms and bacon added. Even though this restaurant deserves more than being heralded as a burger reviewed place I can't help eating me a good burger. Most of the things I have tried there I have enjoyed and they are prepared and presented very well. We have tried everything on the menu at some point and the majority of it has been really good. Be sure to try the Backhand of God stout

We arrived at 6 on a Thursday night and they didn't have a table open until 9pm. We sat at the bar to have dinner, laughing at ourselves for not thinking we needed a reservation. Our food was incredible. I had the Arctic char, so tender and flavorful-coated with oats! Jake's meal was the most incredible thing I've ever put in my mouth. He had the wild boar linguini. He ate himself sick haha, I let him because it was his birthday afterall. @loewenlifestyle

Had reservations for an earlier supper on a Thursday. Place was already packed and very noisy. Started with the Homemade Gnocchis. Really tasty but serving size extremely small for the price and nothing to sop the sauce up with. My partner had the 8 oz NY Steak with peppercorn sauce and I had the daily special which was a steak dish. Plate presentation was a work of art. Meals were delicious. Ended meal with a coffee and a dessert sampler for $6.00. Had the carrot cake. Beautifully presented in a deconstructed manner, but disappointed in that the actual cake itself was not a carrot cake but rather a sponge cake. Also had the cheesecake sampler. The jam on top was very tart but yummy completing the cheese cake quite nicely. Our server was very busy with lots of tables, but still friendly and efficient. Expect to pay a lot but worth treating yourself every now and then.

I have eaten here many times and alway been blown away by yhe food and service.Had to leave a review this time though as the service we recieved this time was exceptional.We took our som for a late birthday meal as he was very ill on his actual birthday in April.Somehiw the server picked up on this and he was treated royally, late birthday cake included.As ever the food was outstanding, we love this place!

Food was excellent and portions were plenty. The service was probably the best thing about this place though. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and really contributed to our great experience here. When one of the servers was finished his shift, he wrote out a list of sushi places for my friend and I to try in Vancouver! What a sweetie! Wow, wow, wow! This was the best meal we've had in ages. Our server, Mike, was phenomenal. Very helpful with explanations and wine recommendations. The food was out of this world. I would have never thought halibut and cherry would go together but they sure do. We typically wouldn't get dessert but the first 2 courses were so good we wanted to see what dessert could possibly be like. The fresh berries with whipped basil mascarpone was so light and refreshing. Perfect way to end the meal.

We had the most enjoyable evening. From the moment we were greeted our service was incredible. It must be said, Jessica gave us incredible service with a perfect wine pairing. From the kitchen ... the mussels were fresh and our steaks perfect. Not a single complaint. So very pleased with our meal. Please recognize Jessica for her wonderful case and attention!

Having lived in Edmonton for the past 7 years, I've been lacking great food. That became very clear when I bit into the first few bites of the Hemp Heart Chinook Salmon. The Salmon was flavourful but the the scallop sauce set it off. My only complaint is I was only able to sample the one item from the menu. Staff were attentive, quick, friendly. Will definitely be back.

We have been talking about coming here for years, realistically since it opened! The major barrier for my wife and I simply was that for the two of us, we were unable to get a reservation for just us historically. That has now changed, possibly thanks to the pandemic, and we do hope this change is here to stay! Anyway, getting on with the review! As this was our first time to Raudz, I wasn't really sure what to expect. We were greeted by a friendly hostess, had reservations, our table was ready for us before we arrived, and we were immediately seated. Upon seating we were offered our choice of water (tap or sparkling) until our caretaker came to formally introduce himself. Service here was amazing, there was never a need to want for anything, nor was there a desire to be left alone. Service was notably taken from a far and action was only taken when necessary. We asked for a break between courses and there was a healthy and definitive break between every course. There was at no time even the risk of an overlap between courses, quite simply put, timing of everything was absolutely perfect. The food! The reason why you were going here! I am a firm believer that the service makes the experience and the food all the better, thankfully the service certainly did not contrast the food. Everything we had here was amazing! From the Beef Carpaccio, the Caesar Salad, the Foccacia, the Beef Cheek (on the current fresh sheet, may not be always available), and the Peppercorn Falt Iron Steak, all of our fare was perfectly cooked to our liking. There was no need to ask or want for anything different or bring our caretaker back to make something right. It was neatly presented, and correct the first time. We finished off with dessert, which was a tough choice! Our caretaker was kind enough to offer his opinion and he wasn't wrong. Although I believe that there was no wrong choice on the menu, the cheesecake and the brown butter cake were absolute decadent. In the end all I can really say is Wow! Raudz did not disappoint from entrance to exit. There was no need to want or ask for a single thing. It was comfortable, with a low volume that allowed for intimate conversation with those at the table. The service, food, atmosphere, and experience is well worth the time and price. Thank you to everyone at Raudz, everything was truly exceptional.

Working in the restaurant industry, I was honestly appalled at the service our group received. An enjoyable evening of drinks and dinner to celebrate our friend's Birthday turned into waiting for service/food for literally hours. It was as if we were our server's last priority, even though we had made a reservation. It seemed as though we were an inconvenience and our server's came off annoyed and quite frankly, rude. One of my friends asked another server what one of the features was when he dropped off her drink and he snapped back to wait and that our server would let us know. The entire staff made absolutely zero effort to be personable or even crack a smile for that matter. We waited 2 hours for them to take our food orders (without even asking about appetizers) the server came around the table asking what our main dish choice was. Although I can say the food was outstanding! The only highlight about my experience at RaudZ was my meal and for that I'll give one star - probably won't ever be back though. Personally don't think we should have been there for nearly 4 hours to enjoy a couple drinks and a meal.

The food, service, and atmosphere was amazing! I ordered the duck which was prepared and presented beautifully. The duck melted in my mouth. For dessert I ordered the caramel crunch for dessert. It was yum ???? and not too sweet. The dessert coffee was a well balanced decafe dark roast. The whole evening and atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable.

I heard great things and decided to try this place out. The service was the highlight for me, The staff were super attentive and described the dishes well. Everything was accounted for and they checked in on us often. I thought the crab cappuccino was a clever and whimsical dish with great taste and execution. I got the mussels and they were huge and perfectly cooked though I found the broth to have an odd bitter taste I didn’t recognize. Overall good but I think the RJB would’ve been a smarter decision! Will have to come back and try it!

We came here in the summer on vacation when searching for a steakhouse we saw this had good reviews. Unfortunately for us I'm not quite sure what happened as our order took over 2 hours to get our food. There wasn't a mix up. Many people came and left. We basically were eating out food when closing and nobody else was there. Our server was accommodating and apologetic however I could see a manager was there and kept staring at us but would not inquire or check out we were doing. At the end of the night we were not really offered anything in terms of a discounted item or any incentive to keep customer retention.

Loved our visit to RauDZ. Easily one of the best restaurants in Kelowna. I had the Arctic Char and it was delicious. I highly recommend it. Loads of interesting drinks, and great dessert options. Attentive service and exquisite food. My experience with Raudz was wonderful and it came on the hands of a recommendation from several colleagues from Vancouver. The waiter was wonderful and really knew her stuff. It was a very dressy place but she read the room correctly and brought it down a little to match myself and my friends mood. We were pleasantly surprised by everything from the food, drinks, ambiance and service. Only negative was the price. Quite hefty but it was worth it as a one off.

RauDZ blows away many, many restaurants in much larger cities. The bar, the kitchen, and the front of house all sparkle with the best of the region's agriculture and hospitality. The only thing you won't get is scenic views of the Valley, but the tasteful decor and the open kitchen and bar give a lot to look at regardless. RauDZ is a treasure not to be missed and I make a point to visit every time I'm in town. My most recent visit was on 2021-07-28, just before the new mask restrictions went into effect, but RauDZ was practicing excellent hygiene even ahead of the news. Staff are all masked, front and back of house; sanitizer is prominently available; and the bathrooms were clean with lots of soap. There are lots of very large clear barriers to protect patrons and staff alike without making the space feel cramped. Thanks for another great memory to add to the pile, RauDZ! The anniversary menu was a delight; everything was stellar but the pea soup and the rhubarb crisp with rose–hibiscus ice cream especially stand out; as does Kristine's stellar service. Finally, kudos to the bar for the stone-fruit margaritas. Until next time!

This farm to table restaurant, has good food and a pretty good atmosphere. I have only been here once but the food was really good. I hade the cheese burger with an egg and bacon. I was one of the best burgers I have ever had. And the egg added a nice twist. Raudz is not cheap but it is worth it. If you are looking for a really good meal, but price does not matter then Raudz is for you.

Was recommended this place by a cab driver and warned that it's very popular. He was not kidding, we didn't have a reservation so headed there a few minutes before opening and there was already a long line. Menu changes frequently and highlights local ingredients. Everything we ate was both delicious and beautifully presented. Prices are on the high end but it was worth it. This would be a great place for special occasions like an anniversary.

A great example of casual fine dining, raudz has an impressive menu, great cocktails and impressive and inexpensive desserts. It can be hard to get a table later on the evening, though they now take reservations, which makes planning much easier. I've had a bad service experience recently but overall this place has always been excellent.

The food was really only OK. Our table had the codfather's special, the butcher's special and pasta. All three were mediocre and kind of bland. The yam gnocchi on the side was particularly flavourless and tough. We read the reviews before going, and have to agree with other low ratings: this place is overrated.

RauDZ is one of those amazing restaurants that consistently exceeds expectations. The food is always top notch, the menu offers creative artisan dishes. Just had birthday dinner with Parmesan gnocci, flat iron steak done to perfection, cold roasted vegetables and Caesar salad. The Italian desserts were melt-in-your-mouth cannoli, chocolate truffle, and lemon raspberry tart. Staff are phenomenal from chef to servers. Had a wedding rehearsal dinner there July 4, 18. They closed the restaurant, we had a private function with head chef, and 6 other staff members. Group of 17 who had nothing but the highest praise for the staff, ambiance, and especially the food. Menu, wine, service, we second to none. We sat at the bar. We were a group of four. We all ordered the gnocchi, and it looked amazing! The gnocchi was cold. I let the server know and without hesitation, they restarted service by clearing plates and bringing out fresh hot dishes. The bartender was incredibly attentive and made sure we had a great experience. The burger and RJB were *chefs kiss*. The cocktails were out of this world. They did everything right to make our night out amazing. Highly recommend.

Food looks great, I asked for the baked fish and chips with poutine, the flavor was good, different, unfortunately I got food poisoning and spent the night at the hospital (great thing to do when you are on holidays). I can't blame other food because it was the only thing I ate during the day. After all the service was great.

Really friendly service! We got here 5 minutes before it opened on a Saturday and it looked like there were about 12 people or so ahead of us. They only do reservations if you're a group of 6 or more, so best to get there early. The food was very delightful and well put together. Very fresh ingredients making everything very tasty! I wanted to try a well-reviewed restaurant in Kelowna and this one did not disappoint. The service was amazing and the food was awesome. We had the beef carpaccio which was to die for. Then I had the steak with blue cheese & potatoes cooked in duck fat (I would have loved more of the cracklin) and I inhaled all of it. My husband had the lamb, which he loved. Then I had the chocolate caramel crunch, the only flaw with it was that the salted caramel ice cream tasted only of salt, I got no caramel flavour, but the mousse & crunch were great. My husband had the berry mousse, which was fabulous. We will definitely dine here again when we're back in Kelowna.

One of the best vibes we've had at a restaurant in a while. Laid back attitudes with the high end meals. That's what dining should be! We arrived at our reservation and they werent quite ready due to covid capacity and the folks before taking longer, but they were more than happy to find us a seat at the bar while we waited, which worked out perfectly as we do like to have a cocktail before dinner service starts. The bartenders were so welcoming and talkative which made the experience even better. Once our table was ready they sat us to what turned out to be excellent starters and mains. Unfortunately we only had room left for 1 small dessert to share, but all courses were making us want to go back.

I heard great things about this restaurant. I phoned in prior to opening and received a call back at 4:00pm with a voice mail saying that they do have a spot available and to call back to finish the reservation. I had called back to find out that my reservation had been filled? I would expect the table to have been held till I returned the phone call. I believe a one hour window should be ok especially since the reservation was made for 2.5 hours after my call back. To me, that’s bad service even before getting in through the doors. I’ll be happy to change my rating should management decide to call me back.

I came to Raudz on Sunday evening with my parents and fiance after hearing many great things! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the service was above and beyond. My fiance and I had the 3 course seasonal meal with wine pairings and we highly recommend it - each dish was amazing and the value was great as well. It sounds like the seasonal menus are frequently rotated, and we can't wait to go back for another great experience!

I hadn't been here in almost 2 years and had another great experience. The cheeseburger was a perfect medium rare and the arctic char was still excellent. We tried the Woodsman cocktail, the bartender had won a number of competitions with it. It was very tasty. All in all another fantastic meal with great service.

Incredibly disappointing experience! Very excited to try this restaurant after reading positive reviews, appetizers went well, after that it went down hill quick... 4 mains 3 got sent back, 1 had under cooked potatoes that could even be cut with a knife, 1 had very undercooked pasta, the 3rd was very under over cooked fish... after that we complained to the staff and they re cooked the dishes, the recooked dishes were marginally better but still had under cooked pasta. Very disappointed with the flavour and execution of all the dishes. The wait staff tried to save it by comping dessert but at that point a mediocre and poorly thought out dish could not save the day. Very unimpressed, spend your money else where.

We had such a lovely night at Raudz. I was curious if it would really live up to the expectations I had after reading the positive reviews and with it being listed on many platforms as one of the top restaurants in Kelowna. The server was so attentive and knowledgable and made some really good suggestions for us to suit our requests. I love that the menu is not stuffed with options, , but still offers variety to suit every taste bud! We loved the combinations of flavours of the dishes we tried; from the toasted, crispy kale that is served with the focaccia, to the duck fat mayonnaise that comes with their signature RJB. I really like that they are committed to local and seasonal produce, not only for their food but also in their drink options. The ambience is romantic and relaxing and I love the exposed brick restoring a bit of character and history in the old building - love that! The seating booths are great for COVID times as you are naturally distanced from other guests, giving you privacy and keeping you safe at the same time. We will be back for more!

Absolutely amazing dining experience. Our biggest dilemma was deciding what to order on a menu chock full of delicious, local options. In the end we went for the crabcake, house-baked fish and chips, and the burger. Everything tasted great. Nice touches included the chamomile ice cream for dessert, gin and rhubarb cocktail, and the house-made lollipops on the way out. I wish I could come back sooner to try everything this place has to offer.

Traveled over to Kelowna for a quick trip and delicious eats! Luckily, I was able to secure a table for dinner with short notice at a local favorite, @raudz. The first thing that caught my eye was their Crab cappuccino ($14), which is a roasted Dungeness crab soup with milk broth. I loved the rich crab flavor, complimented by the creaminess but not overwhelming. Isn't the little beet crab the cutest?? On a side note, they missed the chance to call it a crabuccino ???? Next, their beautifully plated Beef Carpaccio ($17). The colors are so vibrant and although I felt the pickled mushrooms wasn't my thing, it created a nice contrast with the aioli and beef. We also got BC Mussels ($24) to share. There was plentiful house made chorizo and peas with the broth, however I prefer a creamier broth. Mussels were a bit on the small side, but fresh. Not a memorable dish. Onto the mains! I got the Lamb ($33), which has two cuts: lamb chop and tenderloin. The lamb chop was cooked perfectly, tender and seasoned well. The tenderloin, on the other hand, a bit too much salt that I ended up scraping off the salt and it was much better. I liked the barley risotto, different but pleasantly not as filing as regular risotto. Presentation-wise, this was quite appealing to the eye, loved all that cheese on top with the colorful pop of flowers! The other girls ordered the 7oz Peppercorn Flatiron steak ($33). Steak itself was cooked to desired donenes, duck fat layered potatoes was a bit overwhelming, didn't taste much duck flavor in it. I definitely appreciated their attention to detail for every dish, and plating matched the season well. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and our server was so friendly and helpful. I love how they had homemade blueberry lollipops that came with our bill, they were fragrant and not overly sweet.

Really excited to dine at this farm to table inspired place. Most of it Tasted great. Squid was over cooked and seemed like it may have hung out before being ran. For this price I prefer timing to be on point. The bar tender had a large group of his buddies in and then it felt like the timing of things just failed. We got our dinner glass of wine after the entree was served. We waited for a long time for the cheese desert and had finished the other desert before it arrived. Waitress was very nice. Steak special a little over cooked as with the squid(I should have got the char). Wine list amazing and great description of wines. Did I mention our waitress was great and I felt she was not backed up well by the back of the house. That green morel paste on the asparagus was fabulous!

I wish I had pictures of this place because it has a wonderful atmosphere, but I think I was just so engrossed that I completely forgot. It's a pricey joint but if you know that ahead of time then you're golden (about $60 for the largest steak at the time I went in --their menu changes). COVID protocols were great, and it was busy enough that there was a light buzz, but everyone was separated into their own cozy spaces you barely noticed them. Our server was Mike, who went above and beyond for us. Food was delicious, cocktails experimental. One of my table recieved a steak that wasn't quite medium rare and they whisked it away to the kitchen and came back with a perfectly cooked one so fast I barely had time to sip my gin. And then a free dessert for the table to boot. Fantastic place. Would recommend for special occasions, celebrations or date nights.

Very strange experience. I had the peacock stuffed with emu parfait, it was very colorful in flavor and it had a well rounded taste. My waitress was wearing a hijab and had reptilian like eyes which kind of freaked me out and made me lose my appetite. I skipped the proposed shark eye dessert and left without tipping. I also wanted to note the floor kept moving in waves which was quite distracting.

RauDZ has been a favourite for years (& before that its previous existence as Al Fresco). The food and beverages are always amazing. The seasonal menu items and the market meat and fish specials are generally exquisite. We don't get here often, but we have never been disappointed, and are usually in love with every morsel and sip. We dined here with a friend during Negroni week, and yes, I had a house original Negroni that was sublime. Shared the charcuterie platter, and then had the sable fish special for myself and the gluten free fish and chips for my partner. When I couldn't find a second cocktail to my liking on the drink menu, the server advised the bartender of the flavours I was seeking, and he custom made a drink that not only hit the spot, but "knocked it out of the park." We shared the house special chocolate & gelato dessert to finish. However, when the bill came it was with house made blueberry lollipops.

The gnocchi is AMAZING! They switch their dishes up every couple months which keeps things interesting and fresh. One thing never changes, the food is good every time. They have a great drink selection from the bar. We always plan to go right at 4 when they open so we don't have to wait for seating. The wait will be long but worth it if you come at a regular meal time.

This is my number one fancy place to visit! Not once have I been disappointed there. The Amante Picante cocktail is what I order immediately because it's that delicious. Their menu tends to change, but I've tried the mussels, fish n chips, soups, charcuterie boards, burger, breads, salads, pasta... okay so mayyybe a bit of everything. You get the idea.

Super overrated and overpriced. I'm 100% Korean, and their kim chee in the bison brisket was not kim chee at all. The "brisket" wasn't what I would call brisket, but more like shredded roast beef. The sandwich was just overall terrible. The cheeseburger was just meh, and you could get a much better and cheaper burger at Five Guys in West Bank. But, by far, the drinks here are insanely over priced for mediocre junk. The beers on tap were 8 to 9 bucks for just mediocre craft beer. The stout was just blah, and their IPA was OK. If I was in California, both would have went for $4 for half a liter. This place just reminds me of what I have found wrong with Kelowna's foodie culture over the past decade of visiting: great ambiance and decor, bad food, expensive.

I’m very disappointed with the food this restaurant serves. I’ve read the food reviews about it and I’ve been in the sunnys and micro bar several times so I thought it’d be a good experience, but I was wrong. The sunnys and micro bar foods were amazing and I expected to have the same food quality at raudz, but it didn’t happen. I’ve order mussels that comes with baguette, as you can see in the pic the baguette slices were clearly burnt and I was chocked that they still served it. I just think it’s unacceptable for any restaurant, but considering I was in a good level and not cheap one it’s way more unacceptable. I was frustrating with it, but it was just the begging. We also had risotto and gnocchi, I ordered those because we had risotto and gnocchi at Micro bar and it was so amazing we order two more after the first one we had. However, it was another frustrating experience I had a bit more than half of my risotto at Raudz, but I can tell you both (risotto and gnocchi) were not even close to what I expected. The only thing I could say I like was the strawberry gazpacho dessert, not exceptionally good though. I suggest you expend your money elsewhere, there are way better ones out there. It’s just so frustrating spending your birthday night having a not good food and pay more than you pay in other good restaurants in town.

This is a Must visit place in Kelowna. Price is a bit on the expensive side, but you're honestly paying for the quality of the food and I think it's worth it. We had the Rack of Lamb with Cavatelli & summer veggies, The RJB and Parmesan Gnnochi. Everything was tasty! Serving size was good, I would say enough for sharing (Especially the Rack of lamb), thought the serving here was going to be small. Very friendly staff.

Every time we find ourselves in Kelowna, RaudZ is always on our list. The food is always perfectly prepared and delicious, leveraging local produce and is beautifully composed and plated. The drinks are always delicious, and compared to many other local bars have a lot more thought put into them. The menu consistently changes and offers unique seasonal flavors that are always enjoyable. If you're in the area you should definitely give this place a try.

My daughters 30th birthday dinner tonight Two of us ordered the steelhead trout meal. Both meals were very undercooked. We returned them, the waiter agreed that it was underdone after showing them to the kitchen. He wanted to replace them, we decided to order 1 instead of 2 dishes as we were quite put off by the under cooked fish. When we got our bill we were charged for both meals. In my opinion we shouldn’t have been charged for either of the meals, certainly not for both. The waiters reasoning was that they typically undercook their fish. Really? Very disappointing. Is there any customer service here? We are waiting to hear back from the manager about how these events can be resolved.

Not worth it, one bit! My friends and I heard that RaudZ was THE place to dine in Kelowna. We were so excited but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We arrived at 7:30 and promptly ordered our food, including drinks, applies, and mains by 7:45. I saw some other reviewers mention that they had to wait for hours to get their food and this was sadly the case for us too! Every table that came in after us had received their food before us, which was so frustrating. Our 9:45 reservation for drinks down the block after dinner was ruined. Overall, we felt that our table was over looked and not taken seriously because we’re young women. I work in the service industry and about half of the ladies at our table are servers and bartenders as well... we all felt that the service was off and it was worth it to say something, considering our bill of over $700. We even asked the waiter multiple times for updates on the status of our order and he was unable to be honest and transparent about the timing. I also want to mention that if we had received an apology for our poor service experience, I would not be writing this review. When we received the bills, I spoke to the manager who rudely told me that, “this is not a fast dining experience.” I have been to most of the fine dining restaurants in Vancouver and I have never experience such disgusting treatment. She also claimed that our food took 40 minutes to be served, which was blatantly untrue. She also asked me, “Well, was there a problem with the food?” As if it was the only thing important about what she claimed to be “fine dining”. It’s also notable to mention that the food at RaudZ was just OK! My arancini was dry and my friend asked for a blue steak, which was not cooked blue. I guarantee you if I was an older man, I would not have been treated this way by the staff at RaudZ. We will never be returning and we will be SURE to tell our friends and family just how un special and awful this “fine dining” establishment is.

One of the better higher end restaurants in Kelowna. Busy and not very large so plan ahead or expect to wait. Menu has tasty varied offerings with locally grown aspects. Service is above average as I suppose are the prices.

One of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. As the location doesn't take reservations we arrived at 530 but had to wait until 715. Their timing for seating was dead on. The inside is very clean and comfortable. It was a little loud as we dined. Unsure if that is the norm or if it was due to the large group. Our server was knowledgeable regarding the menu and made good recommendations for us. Appetizers consisted of a charcuterie board and chicken confit poutine. Both were well plated and proportioned well to appitize. The only thing we'd had like would be tongs or a serving fork come with the charcuterie board. We had the butcher block special that came with an oxtail croquet and the 16 Oz steak. Everything on each plate was delicious! Sadly we got full and couldn't order desert this time. 5/5 top notch. Will recommend this to anyone.

The food here is so good! Everything is made with care with interesting ingredients and creative plating. We ordered the salmon, Arctic char, and starter gnocchi. Each dish was unique and complimented each other. My only gripe is that we had to pay for “sparkling and still water.” Make sure you ask for the complimentary water if you want to save yourself $12. Also, they don’t have tap for the machine.

This over bloated restaurant needs a serious wake up call, we recently dined here and after waiting 1 and a half hours for a table thought we were in for a treat. To start out with our waitress tried to talk us out of our wine choice recommending a much more expensive wine. To her credit she did bring a taster of the wine we chose which was a wonderful Meritage from The Hatch winery. The caesar salad was limp and tasteless, despite squezzing the juice from the lemon wedge on the salad, seriously this is supposed to kick it up a notch. The cheese, and I say that loosley as it was tasteless and looked like it had melted onto the top of the salad, this was not a nice flavorful parmesan reggiano cheese. My partner ordered the pasta with prawns, the sauce was bland and the prawns were so salty they were almost inedible. I ordered the mussles and clams they were cooked nicely if a little on the small side and the sauce left alot to be desired, it was tasteless and watery. After all that we didn't try dessert and left with a bitter taste in our mouth about the whole experience. But if your ever in Kamloops give Mittz Kitchen a try, now there's a place that knows how to give you an amazing dining experience.

Service was excellent, very friendly from the moment you walk into the restaurant. The crab cappuccino was phenomenal! Wish it had a little more crab in it, the carrot crab was cute. Fantastic presentation. As others have mentioned, the gnocchi is to die for, fully pillows of potatoes. Get the main or the appetizer, but do get it! Menu offers a quite a few other tantalizing options, a second visit is a must. They don't taste reservations unless it's a party of 6+, so do show up a little early.

Horrible, horrible dining experience. I came here for my sister’s Stagette and they really ruined the night for us. We arrived at 7:30 and ordered all our mains and appies at 7:45. Our food came at 9:10pm, while ALL the tables that came after us were served food first. Our server never notified us that the food was going to take longer, and when we asked if the food was almost done, he responded yes. We proceeded to wait 35 minutes after he had said that. We complained and we were not compensated anything. To make matters worse, we complained to the Manager and she completely dismissed us, commented that it was a fine-dining establishment and tried to say the food only took 40 minutes. We also missed our reservation at the other place we were going to because of how long the food took. We had a nearly $700 bill for our group and they treated us with a lot of disrespect. Will not be going here ever again.

Delicious clean eating at a reasonable price. I ordered the cold carrots and beets with quinoa (a starter for $15) and had them add the 6oz grilled salmon as a side ($10). The Salmon was cooked perfectly. The little salad was delicious, save for the sprinkles un-cooked quinoa, which I don't really understand. Why not cook it? ...and finished off with the warm carrot cake with cream cheese icing and carrot caramel sauce ($6). The service was great. The food was great. The location was great. The decor was great. If I had one nit-picky thing to gripe about it would be that the wifi is "Reserved for Management Only. There are 2 networks on the system titled Raudz and neither one is for customer use!? I get it, it's a restaurant, not a library, but help us out here Raudz....Please... you're great otherwise.

Excellent spot! We sat at the bar because the place was packed had the charcuterie plate and a great Ribeye. Charcuterie was very good with a nice mix of local products and a well thought out mix of flavours. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were the standard veg, but done next level up. This place is interesting. I went here after seeing it in the Vancouver top restaurants magazine. The reviews are great, but was a bit underwhelmed. Here's why. It feels a bit like the chef is SO close to pulling it off, but there's just some misses. We had the seafood sausage which was weird. A bit congealed, cold (it's supposed to be a cold dish), fishy, pickled veg were a weird addition. Next was grilled veg app. It was just that - charred veg w black sauce that didn't have much flavour. The RBJ burger was AWESOME. Highly reccomend. But it also came with the weird pickled veg and a potatoes skewer that was just boiled potatoes. My wife had the baked fish and chips and it was OK. The tartar sauce on top of the fish made it soggy and the fries were soggy and greasy - may as well have fried them so they're crispy but I see what they were doing to try the 'healthy' angle and I appreciate that. We asked for salt and lemon to add to our mains. Services was great. I'd give it a 6/10 overall.

If you're going to eat anywhere in Kelowna let it be Raudz. This restaurant is perfect, start to finish. Every appetizer, entree, and dessert we've had here has been delicious. The servers from my experience have been knowledgeable, accommodating and have always provided top notch service. The pricing is more than reasonable, especially considering what you get here. Street parking and a pay parking lot across the road make it easy to get in and out as well. I really have nothing but good things to say about this place and hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I’ve been here twice. Had a really great meal and really good service a few years ago. Recently, however, I went and waited an hour for food- they said the kitchen was short staffed but I looked back and the chefs were watching hockey on TV. Also, no service recovery while we waited, my steak sandwich tasted like a Salisbury steak, and waited 5-10 minutes for refreshed drinks. The bill was astronomical for such slow service, mediocre food and sub-parr service recovery. PS ditch the TVs, nice restaurants don’t need to show sports highlights. Don’t think I’d return.

With 3 incredible restaurants and award winning cookbooks, dishes, and recipes - its no wonder I am still drooling over the deliciousness of our meal 3 days later. An excellent experience from start to finish! The establishment is clean and the atmosphere is good. The music is not too loud so you can enjoy conversation with your company. The staff are extremely professional and polite. The appetizer of venison carpaccio was very tasty. The entree we both selected, the RJB, was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly to order. My wife enjoyed a martini, while I had a coffee liqueur that really hit the spot. The creme fraiche cheesecake for dessert was absolutely wonderful. Typically very impressed with the food and drinks here. I'm a fan and when asked for a suggestion from my guests, clients or visitors to Kelowna - Raudz makes my list of the top 3. No longer so. Food is still fantastic. Service is not acceptable. I've had a few little moments over the past month BUT specifically, last nights experience made me want to actually share - which I only do in rare occasions. We called much earlier in the day to request a dinner reservation for 8pm. This wasn't an issue at all untill we announced with was for a group of 4. We were explained reservations have to be 6 or more. So we were told to come down at 8pm and check in in person. No big deal, arrived at 7:45, expecting to have to go somewhere else for a pre-drink and were sarcastically/flippantly turned away because the were full up for the remainder of the evening. No apology. No other suggestions. Just a 'well your not going to be happy about this but your out of luck' response. I lightly expressed my disappointment and that we had tried to book earlier. The hostess cut me off and said "its too bad i'm not the owner so you could unload your frustration on me" Then it was suggested that perhaps next time if its important I lie and say I am a group of 6. My jaw almost hit the floor. For a restaurant which caters to a more affluent market in our community I expect a higher level of respect and courtesy when attempting to visit their premise. We went down the street to Krafty Kitchen - who was also full but bent over backwards to get us in and made us forget for the time being how rudely we had been tossed aside at Raudz. Quite honestly, I just won't take the chance or embarrassment of taking my friends, family or clients there any longer. Embarrassing your patrons in front of their guests is completely unacceptable.

Service was five stars, wine was four stars, food was one star. Here’s why: It’s 90% flavourless. My wife and I shared two apps and the RJB main. The crab cappuccino was nothing more than watered down broth. It had no texture or depth to it. I wouldn’t call it a soup in the slightest, it was just watery broth. The venison carpaccio was good, decent size, but didn’t stand out in any way. The RJB, which is like a glorified steak burger, was very mixed. The beef burger itself was good but small (probably 3-4oz?), and the sides were completely flavourless and tiny. Duck fat mayo included. Three mini potatoes, flavourless and cold sautéed mushrooms and a few cherry tomatoes. All for $36 - way overpriced. I wouldn’t go back.

Dined here last night and left disappointed. My girlfriend had dinner here many times and always said it was a great dining experience. We ordered the venison carpaccio to start which was quite nice. I ordered the RJB (?). It was probably the most overpriced meal I have ever eaten. Extremely poor. The Brioche bun was soaked through and soggy, and the taste was...nothing. Just bland. The mushrooms on the side tasted like they were bathed in salt. Close to inedible and we're left unearen. The 3 small potatoes on a stick were just that....potatoes on a stick with 2 left uneaten. If it was a steak sandwich from a local pub priced at $15 then it would not be so bad, but $32 for a bland, soggy, ill prepared meal amounted to extortion. My girlfriend ordered the risotto with chicken. She could not eat more than a few bites as it just was not a nice meal. We ended with the crispy toffee desert which lived up to expectations. Delicious. The service itself was good, so no complaints there and were attentive when hearing our answers after asking us how the meal was. They also took the risotto off the bill which we good of them. As my girlfriend said at the time it might have been just been an off night. But from my experience, it was horribly overpriced and came across as something made by an amateur cook.

The service was ok for a high end restaurant but I would not consider that the waitresses here are very knowledgeable about what the chef is trying to do here. Also it is very alarming that the waitresses dont know what things taste like... they should taste and be taught of what the vision of the chef is in his seasonal new menu. Marianna and the host were not very knowledgeable. She was not a good waitress- no eye contact at all and could not repeat herself when my father asked again what the dish was... such a disappointment. This is the 2nd time that we tried this place. We will not be back as there are better restaurant and service out there. We chose the weekly chef course menu but it was hard to converse with the waitress and the head manager about our disappointment because they didn’t even know how it was suppose to taste like. The chef didn’t come out to ask either which definitively shows that he did not care because we have had Michelin chefs come out to ask because they cared. However, only 2 dishes were a disappointment, the soup and the duck. Overall, this restaurant is ok for the Oakanagan region and I love the farm to table concept. Koodos to the owners and chef! I wish the waitresses are more amazing...

Blackened steak came out literally burnt! Steak expertise definitely not something the Chef has knowledge of. No compensation at all!! Full 34 dollars charged for dinner that was burnt, then redone with the new steak a third of the thickness and the rest of my meal cold! My partner ate his meal while it was hot and I got to wait for my new steak. Not a date night meal of any quality. A very very disappointing experience.

Not once did the waitor say "thank your for patience or sorry for the long wait for the food". We waited close to 1 hour for the food. We were also billed for an entree size item in error when we ordered an appetizer size, and once again no apology for the mistake.

Went to Raudz for a stagette and did not have the best experience. Our reservation was at 8:15pm... We didn't get our dinner till 9:45pm. We ordered at around 8:40. We got out soups at a decent time, around 9:10 but we didn't get our mains till 35 mins later. At one point, our server avoided coming to our table..we ended up talking to a hostess to ask where our food was. Some of the food was delicious but some of the dishes were way too salty. Obviously we mentioned it to the kitchen but I don't think they care. Anyways, it wasn't a great experience. Either they are slipping or this place was just over hyped. Definitely won't be bringing a party of 7 back into here. I'm sure there are other business that can use my business in kelowna.

Fantastic food. Definitely pricey, but view the menu beforehand so you can expect that, because it's well worth it. Started with a charcuterie, which was fresh and looked gorgeous. I ordered the RJB (picture attached) and it was the best burger/steak sandwich I have ever had. The tenderloin melts in your mouth, and the shaved bacon really puts the whole sandwich over the top. Ordered the signature dessert, and it was amazing. Can't go wrong with chocolate and raspberry. This is a must visit if you're stopping in Kelowna for dinner, or visiting for a few days.

Service was attentive and friendly. Food was mediocre. Butchers cut was a meidocre pork dish, overly complicated. I’m not a big eater - if I order a starter and a “main”, I shouldn’t be hungry. Gnocchi “main” is a starter. Don’t try to call it anything else, it is hilariously small. When questioning if I was in fact mistakenly given a starter size, the response was no and to offer me a menu to order more food. Gnocchi was also over cooked, and heavily over dressed. Venison carpaccio is meh, at best. Restaurant is dark, and noisy. Cocktails are below average. I’d try it again based on the reviews, hoping tonite was just an anomaly, but wouldn’t recommend anyone to it.

Travelled to Kelowna from Calgary and when we asked our local colleagues where to go for an exceptional meal they all responded emphatically with Raudz. First, I'll say that the service was fantastic. After much anticipation we ordered the rib eye special and the salmon. A few bites in to each plate and both my wife and I looked at each other with the "this is it?" look. We were both completely underwhelmed by the taste after having been told to expect so much (actually, neither of us finished our plates). For the prices being charged we will try somewhere else next time.

Delicious, professional, quality foods! And great atmosphere! Highly recommended. The only downside to this place might be the prices. But that’s the price you would usually have to pay for something of quality. On the plus side, the portion sizes are great for a restaurant this caliber! The other downside is the wait times. Although we had reserved our spot weeks in advance, they still made us wait 40 mins past our reserved time.

A group of us went to Raudz to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We were excited to go there as we had heard several positive things from others about the food and service. Unfortunately, our customer service experience was the complete OPPOSITE. The service was incredibly slow, arrogant, and dismissive. Drinks and food took an unacceptably long time to be ordered and arrive at the table. The worst part of the experience was the service, as we were treated with an attitude of annoyance and the servers were unapologetic for the setbacks throughout the night. Aside from the terrible customer service, the food was delicious and was the only highlight of our evening. Thank you to the kitchen for unknowingly providing us with the best part of the evening. Needless to say despite the lovely dinner, we will not be back and have told people already about our very upsetting experience. I hope that Raudz takes this review into consideration for future growth and takes serious consideration into developing or terminating our server. Unfortunately, we did not obtain her name, however she had short blonde hair, appeared to be in her early 30’s and served us on Friday, January 11th.

Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff overall. But the food wasn’t good. I’m sorry. We had a bread appetizer and it was hard as a rock and completely tasteless. I had the mussels as my main and although they were fresh and steamed well, all I could taste was rosemary. I had shoestring fries with homemade ketchup on the side and they were ice cold and the ketchup was some funky, fruit-infused ketchup that clashed with all the rosemary. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very nice and entertaining but seemed more like vaudeville entertainers than knowledgeable bartenders. Very, very, hipster. But nice!! But sorry for the prices they charge for the food, it’s not worth it. I’d go back for a drink and the atmosphere, but not to eat.

What an incredible dining experience! We did the three course meal and every single bite was delicious. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. I even got an extra treat for my birthday! The final touch were blueberry lollipops made in house and they were delightful. Raudz has been our go to place for special events for years. The food is always delicious and well presented. The focus on fresh local ingredients really shows. I have had some of my best meals in Kelowna here. The staff is friendly and willing to go above and beyond. The wine list is filled with many of our local favourites. Whether you are a tourist in town or a local, Raudz should definitely be on your radar to visit. Be aware that it is a popular place so make a reservation or arrive early.

Last time I went was with my mother, and we enjoyed the bartender's recommendation and his explanation of how he pressed containers full of purple basil juice. We had such a great time. It's been too long. Good luck getting in though, so always have a backup reservation elsewhere.

RaudZ has been our date night spot for years. Every time we visit, we are met with consistently high standards both for food and service. The atmosphere is perfect - just the right intimacy in the booth seating for a date night, or the bar is lively and social. The open kitchen is a conversation piece and the cocktails are crafted by some of the best palates in the Okanagan (try the PB&J to get your socks knocked off). A bit overrated. Food is good, sure, and yeah, service is fantastic, but the pricing for the quality of the food is a bit much, especially when quantity is also factored in. You won't feel like a fool for going because it keeps getting called the best place in town, but there are definitely better places nearby. That restaurant is overly rated. The worst experience. A party of six and none of us was happy with the food. The service was also wierd not rude just weird; one of the hostess was more like a prison warden. The funniest part when it comes to the bill they all give you this big smile and they speak to much to try and butter the situation; not sure what are they thinking, I wonder if they think their clients are ignorant .., either way I do not recommend the place go to cactus, you will be more happier for your value. If you wish to visit it please be prepared for a disappointment for the quality of the food.

Raudz is easily the best restaurant in town. If you are looking for gourmet cusine with a relaxed bar attitude, then Raudz is hard to beat. Their prices are comparable to famous chains in town like The Keg (so around $30 - 50+ a head depending on your wallet) but with fresh localy sourced ingredients, Raudz knocks them out of the park. If you have money for a trip to the Keg, consider Raudz instead for a real taste of the Okanagan.

I would suggest Raudz as a go-to higher-end restaurant in downtown Kelowna that one should eat at if you are in town for a trip or special occasion. I have been here twice now and their food is so fresh and the selection is perfect. The menu changes seasonally and the drink specials change frequently too. The service is always very professional and the restaurant is more dimly lit so it serves as a nice romantic spot. My only issue would be that last time I ordered medium rare lamb but it was definitely cooked to medium, making the meat a little more drier than I would appreciate. But for entrees if you cannot decide, the RJB was a hit for me and my fiancé. Overall great food/selection, fun refreshing drinks, good prices for the beautifully designed dishes and wonderful food.

Went here with my partner for an unforgettable experience. The food was delicious and I enjoyed the care and attention to detail the kitchen puts into each and every dish. Everything that was served to us was like a work of art. We started with the Crab Cappuccino (crab soup), Asparagus and Mushroom appetizer, and the fish cake. The soup had a wonderful flavor with succulent pieces of crab at the bottom, the asparagus and mushrooms were a nice combination of tart vinegar flavor from the marinated mushrooms and richness from the hollandaise. The black garlic aioli served with the fish cake was like nothing I had ever tasted and suited the dish extremely well. For an entree, partner and I shared the duck breast. The duck in pastry seemed to lack something but the slices of pan seared duck breast served with it were cooked perfectly with nice bits of crispy salt on the outside. Partner had the dessert sampler that included a raspberry chocolate truffle, brownie, a chocolate espresso "pot", and a mini fudgsicle. She said the chocolate espresso pudding was the best she had ever had. Our server was cheeky and helpful, definitely would return. If you're in Kelowna, you have to try Raudz.

During these Covid times, it is nice to go to a restaurant that takes it seriously. From the moment you arrive, spray your hands with disinfectant, to sitting you down with tables separating you from the next closest diner, I felt very safe. The meal at Raudz is always top notch and this time was no different. My only suggestion is to install some sort of cell phone blocking device to get everyone else off their phones and just enjoying each others company as well as the beautiful atmosphere. Definitely going back, again!

I’m going to be honest, at Raudz I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had in kelowna. The service that was provided was extremely SLOW, and at times ARROGANT. It was my friends birthday and she made a large reservation. When you make a reservation at the restaurant it gives them time to figure out how to handle a large table. We had two servers for a 20 person reservation. It took an HOUR for everyone to get drinks (including water for my friend beside me). We then sat around for a whole other HOUR waiting for the servers to come over and ask what food we would like to order (appies & mains). It feels as though they were ignoring us. We would try to get their attention but they all had their backs turned to us and running food and tending to their other tables that didn’t have “gratuity” added already to their bill. After waiting a full TWO hours we finally got to order appies and food. The appetizers took 20 mins which was reasonable but drinks were empty and no one asked if we wanted to have another. After getting an extremely average Caesar salad, we finally got our mains 25 mins later. The mains were extremely well made and were very delicious. Props to the kitchen, but the thing that ruined the night was the terrible service and extremely abnormal long wait times. Our reservation was at 7:45pm and we didn’t get our mains until about 10:25pm; by this time we are all STARVING. A handful of us are servers and we all could have done a better job honestly. It seemed like everyone was getting expert service in Raudz except for us which is not acceptable in the restaurant industry. You should give your large tables just as much attention as your smaller tables (GRATUITY OR NOT). We were very displeased and will likely never celebrate a birthday ever again there. Great food, terrible service. Servers should never look down at their customers, we are all equal. A smile would have been nice from one of the them.. if it wasn’t for gratuity, I would have tipped them way less. They did not deserve the 18% gratuity, it did not reflect their service what so ever.

What a absolute amazing experience here, Griffin had FANTASTIC food recommendations, and Ben's drinks paired perfectly with the food. Both, long term employees that were happy to share their experiences working for the owners and put care into crafting a great night for us. The charcuterie board was packed with flavour and had a perfect amount for two people to share as an appetizer. The popcorn old fashioned left a host of buttery notes and was a perfect starting drink, along with the lavender bees knees, light and balanced, every component of the drink shined in its own way, this drink was crafted by our host Ben. The Rack of Lamb, currently showcasing on their 20 year anniversary menu (from their 2005 menu), Easily some of the best Lamb I've ever had, bedded on delicious handmade pasta and a summer vegetable ratatouille, this alone made our meal. Our desserts, the berries and cream (again from their 20 year menu, from the year 2007) was light as a cloud melting on our tongues, the fresh Okanogan berries highlighting themselves with the basil marscapone. Finishing our meal with the perfect dessert. Of course, that wasn't the last of our meal, and after another drink crafted by Ben, Griffin chose the Raudz signature dessert for us. The Double Chocolate Mashed Potato Almond broiche was absolutely decadent, melding in harmony with the raspberry sorbet and bitter chocolate swirl. This restaurant is a MUST, serving valley fresh food, supporting other local brands and we are so lucky to have made it in by luck, having just walked in off the street on a whim. Thank you to all the staff working for a wonderful experience.

Stay away from their rye bread pork sandwich: Experience was okay. They didn't want us to pick our seating area. I wanted to impress my family, but I wanted to be impressed as well, so I ordered what sounded like an amazing dish (their pork belly sandwich). The bread was hard as a rock (not even exaggerating) it bruised the roof of my mouth, but it was very tasty. That dish ruined my entire RauDZ experience, and I left disappointed. Will try again someday, but some other dish :/

An absolute must in Kelowna. Great restaurant, the food is fantastic and the flavour mix is excellent. Service is impeccable and the ambience is perfect for a grownup night out. The only downer is that they don’t take reservations and the wait time is ridiculous (they could do 50% reservations and 50% walk ins). I wouldn’t wait 3 hours to eat anywhere but my extended family really wanted us to try it. My son went to put his name down at 5 pm and we got a table at 9. Shame because I won’t go back unless they do something about this. If you are willing to wait that long for a meal...then go for it. The restaurant is great no doubt.

Food was fairly good, but overpriced and took a while to come out. Server was unfriendly and pushy... we were a table of 4 who came in at 8pm (2 of us had already eaten dinner). The server seemed annoyed when the 2 of us who'd already eaten, only ordered appies, and actually said "nothing to drink!?!?" when we told him we were fine with water (as we'd been at wineries all day and needed to rehydrate... And it was 8pm on a Sunday!). Besides that, neat atmosphere, and delicious homemade lollipops!

The steaks were very tender and grilled to perfection. Gnocchi was good as a starter but I think I wouldn’t order it as main. The bread was also a good starter. Atmosphere was good, the duck was amazing. However the Stuffed Pork was dry. When the server asked how everything was (which wasn’t till we we’re done eating) I mentioned that the pork was not good. Which was a bit disappointing for such a highly rated place. In summary don’t order the pork and don’t expect anyone to care if your disappointed by quality. Personally I can make a good dried out pork at home so I would spend the money at this restaurant for this dish.

Meat sauce was extremely salty. The whole feature butcher’s cut became a disaster after trying the sauce. There is a burnt flavour to the sauce which I don’t prefer. Smoky would be ok, but burnt is no good. Meat quality was good and was dry aged, but after trying the sauce, the meat didn’t matter no more. Arctic char was over cooked. The tender meat of char is hard to control but for every dish to be over cooked is unacceptable for restaurant of this caliber. Appetizers were above average. I am appauled by the worst experience ever. They have no care for people. I love the food here usually but this time they kicked my group out for having kids. We had a reservation and they did not offer any solution to keep us. The manager was exteremly awful and should not be in a customer facing role. All I have to say is wow and we will not be back. The response the owners gave is not accurate and an attempt to make them sound better. Not only did they have the sneario wrong but it was definetly not a full restaurant either. Really impressed with the customer service I recently received. I ordered a gift card for a family member over Christmas and gave them the wrong mailing address by accident. Once I realized what happened (3 weeks later) I contacted their offices to see if they could send out a new card and cancel the old one. Audrey was super helpful and on it! Thank you!

Not easy to run a restaurant - a LOT of people try to pull it all together and somehow miss the mark - however kudo's to Raudz for getting it right! The setting/ambiance/service/menu/food quality is all excellent. When I move to Kelowna I will be here once or twice a week! Please come say hi!

We were a group of 4 and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table so we grabbed a quick drink on the patio at Micro Bites. We tried a couple of the drinks and they were all excellent. We tried the mussels and the fish entrees with a side of the mushrooms. The plating was beautiful; it is definitely an art. The dishes were fresh and perfectly seasoned. We would definitely eat here again and the service was excellent as well.

My wife and I went here for my birthday dinner and drinks tonight. I ordered the steak dinner and my wife ordered the mussels. Great presentation for the steak dinner but pretty average overall. The mussels were also lacking and could definatly use some additional thought. Overall our expectations were much higher based on the reviews and recommendations from friends, however, I would give this place another chance prior to making an overall judgement.

What a fantastic restaurant. Tons of local / BC grown food on the menu including a great wine list. If you are a vegetarian I highly recommend you ask for the veggie tasting in which they put together a plate with all the evenings vegetarian options . Really cool.

I went to Raudz for the first time this weekend. After hearing positive reviews from others I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the steak special and although it was quite flavourful, it was just barely warm. In our group of 6 nearly everyone was served vegetables that were so undercooked you couldn't cut through them. The wait staff tried to "fix it" by bringing out alternatives.... But when you are paying 40+ dollars per meal there shouldn't be a need for alternatives.. Unacceptable in my opinion. Towards the end of our meal, one of the staff also implied that we had stolen one of the serving dishes. Unbelievable. They tried to remedy our sour experience by bringing us a complementary dessert, which was a nice touch, however we felt that it just wasn't enough to take away the sour experience. Would have been better to have a manager or better yet, the chef come and speak to us. With so many great restaurants in this city I wish I had spent my money elsewhere.

Always a delight. The fish and chips seemed like a healthy option, but I got the fancy poutine. The fries were a bit cold but I didnt want to embarrass my wife by throwing them on the floor and screaming at the waiter while trying to strike him with my fist while in a San paligrino feuld rage. So I calmly ate them and the poutine were very tasty. I'll go back again.

Amazing spirit selection, lots of local stuff. Food was great, fantastic presentation. 2 reasons I can't give 5 stars: -Immediately got judged for being dressed too casual, i felt like I had to prove I was there to enjoy their service. - They have a basic understanding of wine pairing but I don't believe they have tried them, mine was way off what it should have been. I recommend it but keep those things in mind.

Wow- showed up with high expectations and they were massively exceeded. We had Griffen as our server and he was fantastic; menu knowledge was top notch and all of his recommendations including wine paring were perfect. The food was AMAZING! Caitlin is an experienced server so she made the evening top notch. I love my steak and usually eat it med rare but explained that every restaurant might be a different and so I went with the med on her recommendation and thank goodness I did. I’m picky and that steak was delicious. It was the peppercorn steak meal and all the accompaniments were fantastic. Their monthly gin cocktail was great and my boyfriend said his burger meal was really good. Would recommend this place over and over.

A must place to eat when visiting Kelowna. This is my go-to resturant when I want good quality, delicious meal. I highly recommend Ken's mushrooms and mussels & clams. I always have butchers cut or codfathers selection and was never disappointed. For desert, the creme brulee is a must. All of the drinks are amazing!! They also have great wine selection. It's always busy during dinner hours so if you don't want to wait, go right at 5 or after 7-8.

Food was hit or miss. My RJB burger was amazing. My partner's fish and chips were only so-so (batter wasn't crispy enough). The server we had needed improvement in both anticipating needs and communication. I had asked whether a condiment listed on the menu item was on the burger and I was told that it came on the side. When I got my burger the condiment was on the burger. When I asked for a new top half because the bacon sat on the condiment-covered bun (as the sandwich came open faced) I was brought a full bun, no meat. I was disappointed, but told the server it was OK as is in a genial tone. I was then asked not once, not twice, but three times in an overly serious tone (almost on the verge of aggression) if I wanted him to bring me a new piece of meat. Keep in mind that I had already begun eating the other half of my meal and was part way done. The host came by and apologized and offered to replace the portion of my meal similarly, but I politely declined as I had eaten most of it already (the food service was at a slower pace). The host's tone was much more service-oriented and friendly and I was put at ease. The server then came by again to apologize, but that just pushed the awkwardness over the edge. At the end, the host brought us a free dessert (homemade fudgesicles). We weren't looking for anything and appreciated the gesture. They were amazing (but we couldn't finish them as we were genuinely full). Food and ambiance are good. Make a reservation, as even after 8 pm on a Sunday the restaurant was full. Would still recommend.

I can truly say that this was on my top 3 list of all restaurants I have been to world wide! The service here just does not compare to any other restaurant. On top of the great service, the food tasted absolutely delicious and was worth every penny and more. I had a steak as pictured below with this fancy dessert also pictured. I forgot the name. If you are in Kelowna you absolutely have to go to this restaurant. You will not be disappointed!

Thought I'd not be back after a very mediocre experience a few years ago but we had some friends in from Ontario who wanted to go to Raudz. I have to admit, my experience this week was terrific. Server was solid, not overbearing but also slowed down to answer our questions. I'm back on the Raudz bandwagon. Thanks for the great service and incredible meal.

You'll miss lots of joy, if you don't spend at least one time in Raudz Restaurant. I cannot express how tasty and delicious the food and desert is. We heard about it, but we didnt believe it till we went there. Quality is perfect. They know how to gather different kinds of favours in a meal which you couldnt have time to think about them. It was one of the most delicious food that I ever had. I would give them 10Star if I could. The only hassle about this restaurant, is its availability. Don't forget to book it prior to your trip, otherwise you won't gonna make it!

Went in to treat myself for my birthday and sat down at the bar. The bartenders are amazing! I didn't really have to look at the menu, I just told them my mood and they paired drinks as I went! The food is amazing! Had the brie appy and the pjb steak sandwich, which is the best I've ever had by far. Finished off with the panacotta which was amazing! Will absolutely go back for more ????

Overall, Raudz was a nice experience but there were some things I had issues with. This is an extensive review with both praise and criticism. Service: Service overall was fantastic. Water was refilled when empty, food was brought out only when the individual was sitting, patience with elderly shown and the service was quite professional yet had friendliness. Restaurant venue: For how haughty the restaurant wants itself to be perceived, the environment leaves something to be desired. Outdated decor (the photos on the wall cheapens the experience) and outdated upholstery were the big ones here. For how expensive the plates are, the environment should match that price. What was up with the giant Margarita glasses with plants? Food: The vast majority of things were cooked very well, the chefs this night did a great job. Price was definitely on the high end and that price didn't match the level of plating required for that price. The crab cappuccino was quite honestly hilarious to me. Looks dead on like a cappuccino! The crab soup itself was quite tasty BUT the whey foam wasn't seasoned whatsoever. If you're going to mess around with a whey foam, please season it with at least some salt. I understand this is a signature dish but the unseasoned foam detracted from the overall experience of the crab cappuccino. The rest of the food was good but again, the plating left something more to be desired. I reccomend the head chef/food stylist revisit contemporary plating techniques - the techniques used are from 20 years ago and were quite stale. An elevated experience deserves an elevated plate. A final criticism - they have next to no cocktails on their menu other than a couple seasonal ones. The Haskup berry Martini I had wasn't very good for $15. No complexity, no balance just BERRY. I understand the restaurant is in wine country but c'mon, its 2021 get with the times and get some real cocktails. If you're charging $15 for a cocktail, give a $15 cocktail and not something you'd get at Boston Pizza. If you made it through this review, thank you for reading. I hope this Kelowna institution improves because it won't survive the onslaught of contemporary restaurants coming their way. The price does not give value, seems the price is set on a "we were once the best so we can charge this amount" rather than a quantity/beauty value.
