The breakfast was really good and the portions are really big. I couldn't finish my bowl. The service wasn't that good. The waiter did not checked on us and we had to wait for almost 30min to ask him for our bill. The music was really loud for such asmall place. Overall I liked the breakfast and will go back.

Rustic looking interior, with ample seating inside as well a great patio on the side. Friendly and attentive service. The five course menu was a solid option, great seasonal ingredients. The morel pasta was fantastic standout. Rotating beers on tap. Good value for what you got.

Modern, adventurous and local; Krafty delivers! We did the chef's table tasting menu and were thoroughly impressed. Dishes which focused highly on local ingredients, unique flavour combinations and cooking methods were met with perfectly paired valley wines and flawless mis en place service. The highlight of the night was the pork tenderloin with lentil fritters and pickled blueberry paired with Blasted Church syrah and the General Tsao's Tofu! Highly recommended!

You’re in good hands here if you happen to be served by the affable Kevin. We really enjoyed the food at Krafty- the devilled eggs pack a punch with lots of tangy Dijon flavours. The crab Cobb salad was a table favourite - 3/5 made it their mains and were happy with the fresh flavours and generous amount of crab. The Royale burger was also tasty but not the best burger I’ve ever had (that bar is high.) I recommend asking for extra tomato jam and eating of the halloumi on its own. Lastly, the reason why I don’t have a photo of the Mac and cheese here is because we unapologetically ate it all. It’s rich, creamy, and cooked just right - but my recommendation is to order it for the table no matter how big your party is so that everyone can enjoy a bite.

Our server Claudia was incredible. She was the best part of our meal experience. Several items we ordered were sold out and they did offer a couple free beverages and some shared desserts. That was very nice of them. The food itself wasn't quite to our liking but was likely personal preference. No sure we'll be back but once again, Claudia was outstanding, positive and very professional.

Terrible experience. The owner Mia should really consider how she treats her guests. My group and I had been looking forward to our reservation here since April. We were a small group of six out in Kelowna celebrating a bachelorette. The day of our reservation, they had called us asking to move our time from 6:30pm to 8:30pm because they had a bigger party they wanted to accommodate. We should've taken priority considering how long we've had the reservation and we were a smaller group, so easier to accommodate in the first place. We politely declined as we had other plans later on in the evening. Half of our party arrived at the restaurant and the other half shortly after. They sat us on the patio when no one else was there, with the air quality we were not all comfortable sitting outside. One of our guests tried to talk to Mia privately but she was of no help to help us with our stay. The Bride started to feel mistreated and ended up leaving. Our waiter, Taylor, was polite with us and tried to serve us the best he could, considering we were his ONLY table outside. Going back and forth and having to open the doors every time, not easy to serve anyone. Unfortunately after our appetizers we ended up leaving because of how wrongly the experience ended up to be. I am extremely disappointed, as like I already mentioned, I've been looking forward to this restaurant since April. Things could've been handled a lot better by the management.

Our server had an epic voice, and a equally impressive beard to go along with it. I had the duck burger, which put me in a new level of satisfaction. Within reason, one of the best burgers I’ve had. My girlfriend had the pork belly dish and enjoyed the dish, which is pretty much all that matters when you take your girl out. Good stuff, will definitely be back.

As others pointed out, go here to get your instagram pictures or whatever, but get a real meal somewhere else - probably before you go or you'll be waiting on an empty stomach for more than an hour.

Went on a Sunday with a friend for hip hop brunch. We made reservations ahead of time which was great, otherwise we might have had to wait. The place was busy and the music loud. Sometimes had difficulty hearing my friend speak from across the table. We both ordered different eggs Benedict. Food was delicious.

Everyone needs to experience the Chef's Table with wine pairing at least once. It's like performance art. You can even have them do it with items off the menu as you sit back and let them work their versatile magic with everything from bison to tofu. The staff share the stories and local flavour of the wine pairings, the chef's elevate and surprise you with these wonderful dishes using local farm to table freshness and all the while you get to relax in the understated, on-trend, homey dining room. This is a must try for a date night, special occasion or when you're showing off Kelowna.

This place is amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and great service. We went for the Sunday pig roast, which was delicious. The owner said it was his first time doing it, but you couldn't tell with how well it turned out. Would highly recommend! Good food and cocktails, definite repeat!

Pretty good food. Pickeled mushrooms and beats didn't seem to match well with bison. Bison was great. Salmon also tasted very good, as did caesar salad and macaroni and cheese. Service was just average. Young girl took her time, seemed new, so only had one round of drinks ordered. Very loud dining room.

An intimate dining experience with considerate staff and exceptional food. Both the drink and food menus offer creative and delightful options. I had the ribs, which were slow roasted and succulent. Portion sizes are ample, while pricing it’s respectful for the quality.

AMAZING experience. My partner and I have ordered the grilled Pacific octopus as a starter. For our mains we ordered the Wagyu and beef duo. We finished our dinner with hazelnut custard. The appetizer was a little disappointing but the mains and the desert were DELICIOUS! The service was quick, friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend KRAFTY and would visit again in a heartbeat :)

This would be a 100$/ person in a city like Vancouver. This is going to become a go to for us. My only regret in life is not discovering this place sooner.

We've been here a handful of times of and the food is always top notch. We especially love coming here on the weekends during Hip Hop Brunch! They blast, and I mean blast 90s hip hop, so if you're not into loud music or hip hop this might not be your ideal Sunday brunch spot. We, on the other hand, find it absolutely glorious. It's seriously a vibe of the best kind. In terms of the food, you can't go wrong with the Baller Mushroom. If you're looking for a more hearty mushroom dish, the Truffle on my Mind bowl is also stellar. We've dined here in the evening as well and I swear their risotto is always made to perfection. Highly recommend!

Super cool looking restaurant, but the only vegan/vegetarian main is very spicy with a ton of complicated sauces. And the cheesecake is not actual cheesecake, it's tangy goat yogurt. Gogurt. If you eat meat and like complicated food, go here, because the meat options are apparently good according to the other people I dined with. If you're vegan or vegetarian and can't tolerate spicy food, stay away!

We decided to do a night night here and it was wonderful! We started off with deviled eggs (great flavor) and beef tartar, and for our mains we got the charred vegan ceasar and truffled mac and cheese. LEMME TELL YOU: the salad was 10/10 bomb. So savory, flavorful and perfect. Wait times for food were a bit longer but times are weird, just grateful we were able to go in and dine!

I liked the ambiance although it was a little hot, maybe they should have put on the AC. The food we ordered was really delicious but the presentation was not as exciting. The burger was incredible. Char was great too. The items on the charcuterie board were nice but it was slim. The beer my husband ordered was $16, which we all thought was overpriced. Overall we enjoyed the experience but none of us thought we would go back. The meal came to $220 for 4 people to have a shared charcuterie board, one drink each and a mid priced meal each.

We noticed their spectacular atmosphere from the street and stopped in for a beer - waiter was super nice, friendly, and informative. He talked up a great beer from a local brewery down the street, Tree Brewing, which was very delicious. I will certainly back to this place next time I'm in town.... Sadly we drive back to Vancouver tomorrow morning.

Krafty is a "must" experience. I have been lucky enough experience Hip Hop Breakfast as well dinner on several occasions. The food is so good, I have tried most dishes on the menu and have had a fantastic meal every time - however I will suggest trying the Deviled Eggs for sure - a favorite. Love the use of local suppliers and the atmosphere too.

The food is unique and tasty (and they're good with accommodations too). The staff was friendly and fun to interact with, and you can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do and I loved that. I'm going to start this review by saying that I'm not a food critic but I am a food lover. I enjoy a burger and a beer as much as the next guy but also love the finer and sophisticated eating experiences we have to offer in Kelowna. As our 12 Anniversary came we wanted to go to a nice place to have dinner. Ever since we herd about Krafty we wanted to try it. The restaurant is located in downtown Kelowna so be challenged to find parking. This Fine dining restaurant is in a clean well maintained building with funky yet modern decor. We had made reservations but on this night but it really wasn't needed. The hostess showed us to our seat and presented us will a well laid out and not overwhelming menu. After an order of Pinot Gris we opted for the 5 Course Regional Okanagan Chef's Table. The Amuse-bouche was amazing and the different courses made complete sense. From the complexity of flavors to the delectable well balanced in house made sauces to the thoughtful and meticulously presentation of each plate. Without going into all the details of the courses I have to say that the quality / presentation of the food was on par or above the food we have ate at places such as Wolfgang Pucks Restaurant. The chief has taken fine dinning in Kelowna to a new and wounderful level. The servers where knowledgeable courteous well dressed and polite. The next part of my review will most likely make sense only to wheelchair/walker users. As my wife is in a wheelchair I must testify that the establishment is accessible. There are tables with legs (no center pedestal) The bathrooms have wide stalls with doors that swing outwards. The taps are (gearshift style)..no knobs and paper towel is in a small box on the counter with in reach. Upon the arrival of the bill I wasn't surprised at the total, as the price defectively reflected the quality of the food the environment and the expertise of this restaurant. Keep up the good work Guys. WE WILL BE BACK!!

A great little gem in central Kelowna. The space is extremely warm and inviting. Our server Taylor was friendly and very attentive with a great sense of humour. The menu is stacked with varying items of equal appeal. The cocktail list contains several interesting concoctions, and has seemingly something for every taste. I liked the wine list very much and was able to find one of my favourite local wines offered. My date and I were less interested in eating than getting to know each other, and our request to hold back of the preparation of our dinner may have played a slight role in the fact that our entrees were slightly overcooked. However, their flavour was rich and delicious and were very well presented. As our evening wound down, there was a group of patrons who perhaps don't quite grasp the difference between restaurant etiquette and strip bar etiquette, and unfortunately the ambiance shifted from that of casual elegance to high school bleachers. Nonetheless, the evening was enjoyable, and I will certainly return. The only thing that I would do differently is that I would refrain from ordering a main course until slightly before we are ready to eat. And maybe bring earplugs. lol

The food is soooooo good! It was unique ordering through text but the waitresses were so funny! We ordered the famous beef tartare, truffled mac n' cheese, the beef duo, vanilla creme, and the carrot cake. My friend also order three different drinks that I don't remember but everything was delicious!! Our favourites were the tartare & truffle mac n' cheese! Would definitely come back to eat here again!

One of the most memorable burgers and carrot cake my wife and I have ever had. Seriously, the burger is huge and has so many great flavors that hit you all at once. The carrot cake is moist and rich, plus you get a very generous helping of cream cheese icing on top. Super friendly staff and a cool vibe make this place worth visiting. Don't miss out on this great spot!

Fantastic!! Been hearing how great it is and finally we went for brunch and the food is amazing!! We both left full and had leftovers! Really nice touch they offer still or sparkling water with lemon/lime wedges. Patio only dining right now, but they have shaded or sunny areas, umbrellas and heaters. Didn't have cocktails this time but menu looked good, next time. Great service, we will definitely be back!

This place has a youthful but pleasant atmosphere. Light jazz playing in the background, the place does not make the mistake of so many restaurants pounding away with loud, common music The waiters are friendly and solid. The good is interesting and tasty. Lots of variation in the small menu with a focus on food that to me feels rich and solid as well as fine. This evening I ate the bison main course. It was superb. Do not look for massive servings. Sharing the main course works only for those with smaller appetites. The IPA beers have been nouveau experimental each time I have tried them and some I have liked, some not but only because of my personal tastes not through any fault of the beer. The restaurant enhances this part of Kelowna. I like it. I will return to partake in the Chefs Special...a five course meal.

Easily one of the best vegetarian meals I've ever had. I don't know if it was off the menu or the server recommended it as something the chef could put together for me. Either way, it was absolutely delicious!! There was also an amazing cocktail we had that had cucumber in it (sounds weird but it was SOOO good!). It was so refreshing and tasted incredible. I think the server said they make the syrup for that fresh everyday? Overall, highly recommend this place. Also, try the sourdough! So yummy!

Big fan of this restaurants laid back and chill vibe! All the dishes are named after rappers, and taste as good as Tupac’s sweet beats of the 90s. Horrible service but good food. The waitress that received us greeted us with an attitude giving us a lecture on how they do not do split bills even though other friends in the previous week's had split bills. She continues to lecture us on how we can't move as she will get confused and correct us on how numbering at the table works.she takes our order. 15 minutes later she comes back as she forgot my order and asks again.15 minutes passed and she brings the drinks out but forgets my drink. Food takes a bit longer and comes out. Food was very good. But the whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. To top it off, after paying and asking for the credit card receipt, the waitress never brought back. The restaurant was basically empty .

The food took a really long time to come; we’d almost finished our drinks. We had to ask for napkins and cutlery when the food came and she says, do you have cutlery? As if we had hidden it from her or something! Then the table after us got their food right away even tho they arrived long after us. The portions were smaller than we expected but overall hot and tasty. I asked the waitress for mayonnaise for my fries since the ketchup was homemade and odd. She seemed confused by this and stared over my head out the window and finally asked if housemade was ok. I said yes and she left. A few moments later she brought mayonnaise to the next table. They clearly hadn’t ordered it as they asked what the dip was. After several minutes I asked again. By this time I was finished my sandwich and my fries where getting cold. Again she seemed very confused and when away. She was walking up and down and chatting with the other staff. Several minutes when by and I waved the hostess over. By this time I was mad and was a little blunt. The waitress then finally brings mayonnaise which is clearly not homemade and says don’t speak to my staff like that. Then she claims they were very busy which was hilarious as there were only 2 other tables besides us. No apology, no discount, just excuses and charged me for the mayonnaise which I didn’t use. We paid almost $60 for 2 beers and 2 sandwiches and after all that I felt sick the rest of the day and night.

We had a wonderful meal at Krafty last Summer, so we were excited to return again. I made a phone reservation and was told that outdoor tables are reserved on a first come, first serve basis, so we made it for 6:00 to increase our chances as we only eat outdoors these days due to the increase in the Delta variant. When we arrived, we noticed several available tables on the patio. However, the hostess told us the only open patio tables were larger tables and could not accommodate us on the patio as we were only a party of 2. This did not feel right to us, as we were told the patio was on a first come, first serve basis and that is not what they actually honored. So we left. Not sure we will return anytime soon. Instead, we had a delicious meal on the patio at Bouchons Bistro. Pricey, yet amazingly good.

Went for the hip-hop brunch and the music was so loud I couldn't even hear my friend right next to me talking. I felt like I was yelling at her the whole time. The server was very rude and asked us multiple times to hurry up and finish eating because they were so busy he was going to have to kick us out, even though we hadn't even been there for an hour. The food was tasty so it's too bad the service and environment ruined the experience.

We decided to support local and order dinner out. Krafty Kitchen is one of favourites. I had the inferno burger and my wife had the crab salad. No kidding, the inferno burger was the best burger I've ever had. Flavour was over the top and left me wanting more after it was gone. My wife's crab salad was fantastic as well. We are very lucky to have such quality in our backyards. Support local!

The space is comfortable, the selection of food items are plenty and they have no problem accommodating my gluten free needs, along with a great BC wine list and tasty farm to glass cocktails. Mia is always a pleasure to see, but every team member ensures that you are comfortable and checks-in to make sure that you have everything you need. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the beef tartar and the seared tuna. Beef flank was tasty but a bit tough, even though it was cooked a nice rare temp. The one star is for our server tonight who lacked knowledge of the menu, had no personality, and ultimately made our first experience there most likely our last. We left a $20 tip, and I hope the kitchen saw a good piece of it because they earned it (you definitely did not).

This is hands down my favourite place to eat while in Kelowna, not only is the food absolutely incredible (the kind of place I could 100% see Action Bronson stopping in) but the staff are second to none. Delicious brunch? Check! Friendly staff? Check! Golden age hip hop blasting throughout the entire restaurant? Didn't even know I needed this in my life but check! I can truly say I've never experienced something like Kraftys before; but now that I have, I'm not sure I can enjoy other brunch places as much anymore. The food was amazing! I had the buffalo chicken breakfast bowl and it was absolutely to die for. The atmosphere here is truly something special though. They play the best of 80's and 90's hip hop which my favorite so it felt like I was listening to my playlist while enjoying the brunch. I HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone in Kelowna looking for delicious brunch options.

My first visit to Kelowna during the Canada Day long weekend and I just had to try out this place based on the online reviews and it did not disappoint! It's such a great date night! My girlfriend and I opted for the 5 course chef's table along with the 5 beverage pairings and I was very impressed! We were told about each of the menu items and what to expect and each meal tasted wonderful. The drink pairings were also very appropriate. I think the final course/pairing was a fantastic way to end everything, I personally love anything banana and to have a banana flavoured beverage as well was very surprising and was delicious! Overall a great experience and definitely recommend! Will 100% be returning during my next visit to Kelowna.

Wow wow wow! Reviews seem to be hot & cold but I had a fantastic experience at Krafty. I went with The Regulator fried chicken & pancake and it was phenomenal. Others at the table had Drake is a Vegan (great name) and were absolutely raving about it. The server was a real hoot, great music, with a nice seating arrangement (not too crowded). Couldn’t be more pleased!

For appies we tried this incredible fried halloumi cheese served with mandolin sliced zucchini strips & pine nuts & for fun we ordered some pork rinds that we dipped in buttermilk sauce. My husband ordered the Alberta bison served with fingerling potatoes & I tried buttermilk fried chicken with an awesome salad of green apple, celery(pickled I think), candied walnuts & chunks of tangy cheese. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Had to share dessert- vanilla custard with dark chocolate, fudgy topping! Josh, our server, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu items. We booked a reservation however we saw many people accepted without. We'd definitely recommend! .

Went in at around 6pm and it was relatively busy because of the dinner rush. I was able to get a seat with my party of 3 and i've never had a problem here before, which is why I wanted to show people from out of town this cool spot. We sat for 15 minutes exactly without a server coming to our table. I tried to wave one down whom was serving the table beside us but she just smiled and stood at the bar. I get it if you're busy, but come by and say you're in a rush and you'll get to us shortly, that's all it takes. Complete disregard. I spoke to the manager and she apologized, however, it's not service I want to ever experience again. I used to be a frequent diner, however the staff being hired these days seem very entitled and not willing to do their job of serving the customer properly.

Krafty Kitchen + Bar situated in the heart of Kelowna's downtown. Stopped in after a walk during this sunny spring weekend to the Hip Hop Brunch. A charming, quaint spot that was rocking hip hop music I haven't heard since high school but unexpectedly really enjoyed. The burger my husband ordered was MOUTHWATERING. Just writing about it, has me craving it. Kafty's burger patty's are house grind, grass finished beef -- I'm getting carried away here. But it was so good, I put down my unexciting Beets by Dre salad bite & helped my husband finish off his burger. I look forward to coming here again & trying the Chefs Table 5 course meal.

Ordered old fashioned drink and was disappointed ordering this drink not being prepared properly.drink was served with bar ice which clearly ruin the drink and all . Had a few appetizers and ordered main, portion was small ,pork belly was overdone the meat was too crispy even though we were told its supposed to be tender meat ,texture was off.octopus was tough but has really good flavors in it. paid 250.00 tab for 3 of us and still left the restaurant hungry. Might give this place another chance next time.it was Great night indeed thanks to our awesome server.

The staff are really awesome! They had great reccomendations and were very friendly. All of the drinks have cute/creative descriptions, which helps when trying to decide what to get. The cocktails are priced too highly for what you get (though tasty). The food at this place is definitely worth it. The Grilled Cesar was unreal - so good! And the Pulled Duck Poutine was also delicious (though too heavy to eat by oneself - I would suggest sharing it). The space is interesting because it's has portraits of famous rappers on the walls but definitely looks/feels more rustic/indie with exposed wood and brick.

Disappointed. I'm a fine dining cook and have reasonable expectations- if a restaurant is busy my expectations change accordingly, I don't expect fine dining at a dive bar, etc. Krafty Kitchen was hyped up to me by friends and the menu and mission statement lookes great. I showed up for brunch before dropping a friend off at the airport. As the ONLY person in the restaurant the service was lackluster and perfunctory. I ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and watched, sadly, as a kitchen team of 3+ slowly plated my meal while portions of it got quite cold. The sourdough sat on the plate for some time, not even under a lamp, prior to the other elements being slowly added. No real attention was paid to it and the service was lazy and sloppy for no reason observable in an open kitchen. It was clean, beautiful, well staffed and well equipped, so I don't understand what happened. The price I paid was NOT reflected in the service, quality of food or atmosphere. Would not return. Over hyped.

Went to Krafty for some dessert, ordered the orange chocolate dessert which sounded delicious. After receiving the food it was discovered there were nuts in the dish which was not stated in the recipe. Once we told our server there was a nut allergy at the table we were told we should have said there was an allergy from the beginning. We had never been to a food establishment that has not had a disclaimer on the recipe that there may be nuts. Felt after the situation that we were very belittled and not a "customers come first" attitude.

Cold and tasteless food. When you're paying over $20 for fairly simple burger you would expect it to be out of this world;sadly that was not the case. When my food arrived I couldn't wait to try it; unfortunately my hopes were soon dashed after the first bite of my fries. The top later of fries were cold and as I dug deeper the bottom ones were so salty that made them inedible. The burger was nothing special either. An under seasoned and cold burger just put the cherry on top for this sad night. All in all the staff were friendly and drinks were delicious so maybe just head there for happy hour after work but bring your cheque book.

I recently went here with 10 others for a Saturday brunch. Shortly after the server took our coffee orders, we ordered our food, chatted, and asked for another coffee. The server quite rudely told one of us that she'd have to pay for the second coffee since it they didn't do free refills. So, essentially, for two small cups of drip coffee, Krafty is charging $6 ($3 each). That's more than a specialty coffee shop and is unacceptable. After dinner, we all paid but then while some of us were reviewing our bills, noticed that unbeknownst to us, an automatic gratuity had been added to our bill, leading about half of us to provide a 36% tip for poor service. To make matters worse, the server rudely pointed at a small line at the bottom of the food menu (which had since been taken off the tables) that a gratuity would be added to a group our size. I, having been a server myself, reminded her that it's customary to remind customers of the automatic gratuity at or around the time of ordering since the person making the reservation may forget or not be able to inform the entire group ahead of time. Rather than apologize for the miscommunication, the manager and staff were surly and rude. I'm never going back.

This restaurant needs to change it's brunch system. I have never in my life heard of a restaurant asking for reservations for brunch, except in certain fancy places. I love the food but after 3 times of being turned away at 10:30 am because I did not make reservations the day before, I doubt I will be returning any time soon. Even places in Vancouver that are filled to the brim on weekends, such as Medina, do not take reservations. In fact, it might even entice people to wait around. Being told that we would have to wait until 1 pm does not. Who reserves for brunch the day before anyway?! Very frustrating.

I’m not a huge fan. The kitchen seems to always be closed when I get there... although that is around 9pm. The drinks are good, but very elaborate and as the menu says they are made with love and take time. The food is enjoyable but I feel everything I’ve had is overpriced. I wish I was able to give zero stars… My family and I went to the restaurant a few days ago during the heat wave. We ordered a table and they even called us back to confirm but there was no mention of the fact that their air conditioning was broken. Everyone was sitting and sweating, we didn’t even feel hungry anymore. There was one fan for the whole place. The manager was there and not once did she come up to a single table and explain the situation or even apologize. It was the hottest day of the year (over 40 Celsius)and no accommodations were made what so ever. It was a horrible experience and when we were finished dining we did tip 15% on their over priced food and were shocked by the waitresses reaction when she stated that the air conditioning was not her fault (which we understand) and that we should’ve tipped her more. Might have been the worst service and management I have ever seen not to mention they had to close the next day because of the heat… don’t eat here

This place has really gone downhill for the past couple of years. My first experience was great but my experience a year ago and just now has made me believe that this is a shell of what it once was. It took an hour to get our drinks another 30 minutes for the food and another 30 to even get the bill. The food was good but you get a 1:10 ratio for chicken and potatoes for a chicken bowl... I literally got half a thigh for a $20 chicken bowl.

I ordered bison and received a fatty piece of cow, server criticizes me for not finishing it, I communicate the issue and he continues to harass me, saying he’s not impressed and he thought I was cool, but now I am not ? Interesting server etiquette. Continues to come back and torment me until leaving. No discount was given, continued with the very disrespectful attitude, including only giving one dessert menu to My date and not me. I’m in disbelief someone could be so rude, very dissatisfied with my experience here. Drove up from Vancouver to eat here after reviewing many restaurants in the area. Will not be back, management also did NOTHING, while this was going on. Didn’t come up to check on us once but continuously saw them standing behind the bar talking. And I guess the steak tartar was pretty good too. I do NOT recommend this place. The wings were bad. The steaks we rubber. The salad was more than underwhelming.

One of the cutest brunch spots I’ve come across in a long time. Shoutout to our host/server who at first thought they were all booked up for brunch and then managed to squeeze us in as we were looking for a backup plan! There’s something for everyone, veggie and vegan options, I went with the chicken breakfast bowl and would recommend, the blue cheese paired well with everything and I throughly enjoyed it! Plus, sparkling water an option next to still water as well, no choice but to stan. My partner quite enjoyed the 90’s hip-hop that played during our brekky, too! 10/10 would recommend for a nice brunch in Kelowna.

Not 100% plantbased but many dishes to chose from, cocktails - gorgeous and delicious, BUT the charred lettuce salad with homemade smoked dressing killed it. the general tso tofu starter will change your mind about tofu and the pork cheek in that sauce melts together and you dunno whats meat and whats sauce... they are one. The bok choy? oh ya... will change your mind about bok choy too. Their drink menu is great- had a local wine provided by a friend of the chef- the The Modest Butcher (local owner/food connoisseur) who was very generous- great night (COVID safe with shields guards, everyone was masked and limited access...).

Good service, staff was very hospitable. From the server to the bartender everyone was very pleasant. We had the pork belly and truffles mac and cheese. Both were delightful. But the dessert...was to die for. Ordered the vanilla pot de creme. It was so good that I had to order 2 more to go. Just an overall balanced dessert. Perfection. Only thing is I prefer to never sit by the door, but as the restaurant was quite small that was uncontrollable thus the 4*. Still a place I would go back to.

Food was incredible... Some of the best I've had in British Columbia, but the service was terrible. We had an amazing mussel dish and duck burger that was cooked to perfection. However we had to ask multiple times for things and my wife got her drink while I had to wait 20 minutes for my drink to even arrive. Understand that it was busy but service has a long way to go to meet the quality of their food.

We are tourists came in a group at 7 and 2 toddlers. Restaurant opens at 10:30. We arrived at 10:15 and noticed that was a line up, so we joined the line. At 10:35 they opened doors and every party ahead of us were turned away, including us, because every table was reserved until 1pm. I went inside to give the restaurant a tip that if they know their restaurant is reserved then, they should pop their heads out and tell everyone and let people know that once they open their main doors at 10:30 people and make reservations for after 1pm. One of the young hostesses proceeded to get defensive while another one cut her off and thanked me for providing the tip. I'm posting this review here so others know about this and I want this tip to get to the owners of the restaurant. We did not get to enjoy the food but I am sure it is very good as evidenced in the positive reviews posted here.

Attended the hip hop brunch to celebrate my son’s birthday. This restaurant does not cook eggs to the customer’s request. They do not scramble eggs. It took us an hour to get our food. The others enjoyed their meals, but I left less than satisfied. If you are fussy about how your eggs are prepared, do not go to this restaurant.

Food is amazing. Super high quality ingredients are used, which is sure to delight any Foody. I'd put it in my top 10 places in the Okanagan. It's got great twists on classic dishes or things that are completely their own. In the past I found their prices were a little high, but they must have reduced them as it was much more reasonable. Even my dish (which was the most expensive) for lunch ''the Big Boy'' was $19, whereas it says it's $22 online. And it was huge, and equally as delicious to the very last bite. I can't wait to go back again soon.

When we walked in there was no “hip hop” and just as the hostess was about to greet us a man from the back yelled “No Walk Ins!”. My partner and I had heard great things about Krafty and boy did it exceed all great expectations. Our server Cassy did a fabulous job of explaining the menu and was able to offer some great suggestions, she was super attentive and friendly. The drinks menu has a lot of variety and I tried a cocktail on Cassy’s suggestion which should definitely make it on the menu. The food was quintessentially Canadian but everything had a fresh flare. We chose the buttermilk fried chicken that comes with an apple salad and the Krafty burger with the Caesar salad, both were incredible. The chicken was super crispy and paired amazingly with the apple cob salad and oh my the burger with a patty cooked to medium that basically melts in your mouth (so yum!)... rare as chefs usually over cook beef patty’s to the max in Canada! The food and drinks were delicious and the service was outstanding, we left with full belly’s and a huge smile. Honestly it was probably the best representation of Canadian cuisine that I have ever had. Thanks so much for having us Krafty, we’ll be back!

Fantastic Staff and great food. For an appetizer I had the steak tartar and it was classic and well prepared. Main course, Pork Belly. While the dish was rather rich, the use of the heirloom tomatoes was perfect to cut through the fats and creaminess in the meal to give a balanced flavour. I also highly recommend letting the bartender make you something fun. Tonights drink was a clover club, and despite not planning on dessert, it was the perfect end to the meal and cut through the remaining richness perfectly.

It’s very hard for me to leave a 2 start review for Krafty Kitchen and Bar. The food, as always, is amazing, we had a group of 8 people and we were all happy with the food. The 90’s Brunch is always amazing! The main Issue was the server, unfortunately she was having an off day and ruined the entire experience for us. She was rude, barely came to our table, and took issue with any request we had - Apparently asking for hot sauce is not a reasonable ask... amongst other things. Her smirking the entire time was also ridiculous. Disappointing because my wife and I spent the entire weekend telling our family and friends how much we love going here. We have been here 5 times and have always had a good experience in the past.

This may have been the worst dinner that i have ever had! First off, it took forever to even get noticed to place a drink order (I had to ask the hostess to get us a server). Then when the appetizers came, they were appallingly bad, the bison tartar was awful, the not so sourdough was actually multigrain and the 'krafty dinner' whatever they called it, was actually like macaroni with burnt pieces of cheese on top of it, it was gross. My duck came and it was so dry that even the mushy, brown lentils were an upgrade. They steak was also very small (definitely a rip off for what you pay) and it was underdone and served with a disgusting Korean ketchup. Terrible service, terrible drinks and embarrassingly terrible food! If i could give this place minus 5 stars, i would. They are trying so hard to be trendy and innovative but they are clearly out of their league. They may need to fire everyone there and start over.

In my opinion the best restaurant in Kelowna bar none!! They have a lovely patio where we ate several times during a recent 10 day vacation there. The food is incredible! We had both dinner and brunch there and both were delicious. They have a great wine list and their feature dishes suggest wine pairings. The staff are all very friendly. The measures they have put in place during the pandemic are stringent but in no way lessen the dining experience. We will definitely be back next year when hopefully they will also be able to offer their Wine Country Tours again.

Not the cheapest, but pretty darn delish. Decor is neat with the industrial/rustic feels mixed with the rap paraphernalia. The wifey loved the epic bowl (being vegetarian) and I was rather impressed with their version of the regular Benny, even though it wasn't the biggest size. Those smashed potatoes were fantastic btw! Beer selection is a little lacking with only 3 BC brews on tap, but the wine selection was good (though pricey). All in all, I would recommend and come back!

We have had two horrible experiences at this restaurant. The first incident occurred shortly after they first opened for business a few years ago- we had a 7-person reservation for a birthday dinner and when we arrived there were still people at our table. We were seated at the bar with the promise that a table would be ready soon. We ordered some appetizers and drinks, expecting to be able to move to our table shortly, but well over an hour later we were still stuck at the bar, unable to even talk to each other because we were spread out and the music was so loud. We never did get our table and left without ordering any entrees. The second bad experience occurred today. We thought they might have gotten their act together by now and we decided to give them another chance, but when my husband and I stopped in for lunch we were refused a table and were told we could sit at the bar. I said we would prefer a table, and noted at least three empty tables (one 8-person, and two 4-person) without reserved signs on them. The host repeated that we could sit at the bar. No explanation, no apology, no wait time for a table, no other option. We walked out and will never be going back. So beware: Krappy Kitchen & Bar is more interested in eking out as much money as possible from large groups than they are in honoring reservations and maintaining goodwill in the community.

Went for the first time with some friends this past Friday and we were so delighted with our whole experience. Firstly, our server Kevin was top notch, in service, charisma, and recommendations. Our table decided to do the 5 course Wagyu Ribeye dinner that was offer that night and it was fantastic! My personally favourite being the Scallops in a bed of bisque. That should be on the everyday menu and I would be back weekly for it !! The atmosphere was cozy and lively, and the menu was broad with variety.

Overall fine but the potato side was underseasoned and the cut wasn't great so I'd probably try something else next time. We could have had a good experience, had our server not been so terrible. She was impolite, lacked menu & drink knowledge, and every time we needed her, she seemed to be too busy flirting with the bartender. Everything about our experience with genna was far from worth the excessive prices at this restaurant. She belongs serving somewhere like McDonald’s or Pizza Hut. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant so you don’t get this server.

Overpriced food .... rude staff who were not very attentive to their guests needs. She only came back once to see if we liked our drinks- my husband's patty on his burger was undercooked (and he likes rare meat) the rest of the food was just sub par for an astronomical price. The food took 2 hours nearly to come out and it was not worth The wait. When we expressed our dissatisfaction to the server she got even less helpful if that was even possible.... then who I assume was a manager came over and didn't ask us if there was any way he could redeem the experience his demeanour was so wrong towards guests who were having a less than satisfactory time. The place came recommended by a friend and we were utterly disappointed.

Came here to enjoy brunch with friends. We arrived early and were seated immediately and staff were very nice. A table of 2 walked in and were seated with a small dog. The entire serving staff proceeded to touch and pet this dog and immediately go back to serving food. I am sorry but if I am paying over 20$ for breakfast good I expect it to at least follow health and safety regulations in regard to food handling.

Went for Sunday hip hop brunch and was not disappointed! Made an easy online reservation a few days before and was seated promptly on their outdoor patio. The servers were extremely attentive and refilled our waters on a hot summer day. You can only order from their brunch menu on Sundays and I opted for their brunch bowl, the notorious PIG ($18). Crispy pork belly, 2 eggs, avocado, corn salsa and beans on top of a bed of spinach and crispy potatoes! It was very filling - couldn’t even finish my bowl! Super yummy with their hot sauce and ketchup.

I really enjoyed the food at Krafty! We ordered the tuna crudo, chuck burger, and strip loin steak. The tuna crudo was very tasty but very small I wouldn’t order it again simply due to the size. The burger was quite good and the steak was also tasty, grilled to perfection, and the sauce and potato gratin with it was delicious though as an Albertan I’d say the steak left a bit to be desired compared to steaks we have back home. Overall a very tasty meal!

Sat outside at first but it was overly dusty, unswept and ill-kept with dead flies in the uncovered salt jar. Then moved to sit inside and was consistently having to swat flies with one hand while eating with the other. They were all over the windows and in the food. Server took ten minutes to return to take order and thirty minutes until food was served. Rushed to give bill. Food was tasty as from top chef Canada. Burger & fries and Caesar salad. Service 0/5 Food 4/5 Not recommended.

My husband and myself tried Krafty Kitchen, we like to experiment new finds. I liked the ambiance, it's rustic, and I like that feel. The staff were very pleasant, the beer we had was good; however, I did not find our lunch very good and I felt it was somewhat overpriced. My husband and myself both had the Fried Chicken Sandwich, it was suggested to us by our waitress, as the meals we wanted they were out of. Compared to the many places we have experienced in our ventures, all was nice except for our food. Might have just been an off day for the chef or a bad item choice???

We started with the devilled eggs, which were fantastic. They each came in their own small spoon.Next, I had the truffle mac and cheese. This mac and cheese is one of the best mac and cheeses I have ever had.Krafty offers a wide selection of cleverly named menu items, from "Notorious P.I.G." to "New Pork State of Mind". (As a pun enthusiast, I am all on board!) While the prices are on the mid to high level for brunch, the food delivers on flavour and the service in our case was fantastic.

I have always had great experience at krafty and felt they work hard to work with my celiac by providing gluten free options. However today when I asked if there was a gluten free bread option I was told "no we only have real bread" They did work with me and I enjoyed my meal, but the way my question was answered made me feel as though I was putting him out by asking the question. I would have loved to indulge in the "real bread" however this is not an option for me.

Poor experience last night. Our host was awful dealing with my complaint (made reservation the day ahead and was placed outdoors in the rain, with no umbrella), and made no effort to accommodate us or make arrangements for another table. He gave us the too bad attitude and did not talk to a server or manager to figure out a solution. Rather than sitting in the rain waiting for another table, we walked out and went to Social 242 and had a great dinner (5 stars). Id go back to Krafty for another try as the food is great and i like supporting local establishments over the chain restaurants, just venting our groups frustration and point out the areas for improvement.

So Awesome! Had the Buttermilk Chicken with Coleslaw. YUMMY!!! I don't even like coleslaw that much. This was so good. Half price wine bottles had us try Nighthawk wine, which we had never heard of. The rosè was wonderful. Great food, wonderful staff!! Will go here again. :)

Love, love, love this restaurant! We opted for the tasting menu and a seat at the bar overlooking the kitchen, and enjoyed watching the chefs work amd create. Every dish was a delight, very well thought out and perfectly cooked, not to mention the beautiful presentation. The accompanying wine was amazing and got me looking for that winery the next day! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend if you enjoy fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere!

Staff are very hipster, but that the food is good. The hip hop brunch is pretentious and sure to bring in the young hipsters for the gimmick of having a meal named after some degenerate mysognist "rap star" spot the irony if you can. Having said all that, the fried chicken and apple salad is amazing, I still think about it often. Apple with cheese curds and walnuts may sound odd version of a waldorf salad but it just works.

A company of four and I attended Krafty Kitchen + Bar in celebration of my sister's birthday. The food was great, but the service was terrible. The waiter was nice but he seemed un-eager to serve us. We'd asked for three waters and two alcoholic drinks, this took about six minutes... We ordered from their appealing menu and the food took longer than expected considering the restaurant was not busy. The waiter hadn't even come back to ask how the food was. After, when waiting to order dessert, I held my hand up for about 65 seconds and my mother waved and called but they did not come. This was shocking because I knew I'd made eye-contact with at least two of the waiters but no response. We finally got him over and ordered dessert (quite lovely by the way) and our greatest pain was waiting to pay the bill. Not in fear of how expensive it was but the fact that it seemed like the restaurant didn't want us to pay at all... we waited 5 minutes and couldn't get over how poorly we were treated. For a $220 bill, we'd expected more considering how empty the restaurant was and all the praise it has received online and even from other members of my family. I salute your chef but poor service seemed to ruin our evening.

Had a delicious lunch on the patio. Ordered the Fried chicken sandwich and the Buffalo Bowl. Very nice presentation of the meals. The chicken in the sandwich was a bit dry, but the bowl was a big hit with the melange of flavours. Found the food to be priced on the higher end for the serving sizes received. Red wine by the glass was exceptionally pricey. Went with the waiters recommendation for wine and was shocked at the price when we got the bill.

We were a party of five and our dinner was so fresh you know these guys bring in good product and cook from scratch becausethey dont taste like every other restaurant.. A rare culinary gem in a city full of unoriginal concepts that seek to emulate each other's mediocrity. I took my girlfriend here for lunch and was blown away. A unique atmosphere with friendly service, a distinct drink menu and a absolutely original food menu like nothing I have seen in Kelowna. I ordered the burger with fries and a Ceasar salad. Needless to say I was blown away by what came to the table. I was able to order the burger medium, the fries had a distinct taste to them and the Ceasar salad was easily the best I have ever had and that says a lot as I've eaten at high end restaurants all over the country. You could taste the owners passion in his food, I didn't see him there but I had 0 doubt in my mind he worked in his own kitchen as this food had heart and soul in it. My new favourite restaurant in Kelowna. Thank you Kraftys ownership and staff for your commitment to excellence!

Best modern cuisine in Kelowna. I had the chef's table 5-course dinner. Every course was exceptional; no weak links whatsoever. Preparations were creative and delicious, well-balanced and flavourful. The servers here used to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately, we were served by someone much less experienced, whose knowledge and skills we're a match to the level of the food.

I love 90s hip hop and have recommended this place to friends previously but I had a poor service experience and it has left a sour taste in my mouth. I honestly don’t expect much from a business but at the minimum I do expect to be spoken to politely, as I would expect from myself on any given day. At first I thought maybe it was me taking things the wrong way but after we finished our meal and left my friend expressed the same sentiment. It was just so strange.

Very average- they say farm to table and it definitely os- and is reflected in the price. I have no qualms paying for quality as long as it's fair- but the portion size is embarrassing to serve to customers you respect. It's clear they don't, and are just capitolizing on people who want to eat fresher. Drinks took over 25 minutes (which I know you make from scratch, good for you ) and were average as hell when I got them. It's a pass for me.

They have a nice outdoor seating patio and the inside is quite nice as well. I ordered my steak medium rare but it was more so on the medium well side. Everything else on the plate was fantastic however. Service was on the slower side due to covid restrictions which is understandable. Waitresses use texting by means of communiction for when you order your food or need something which seemed to be hit or miss method overall.

Hands down a must visit when you are in Kelowna - but make sure you take advantage of their Hip Hop Brunch. You will not be disappointed! From the attire the employees are rockin, the music playing and the awesome food, you will not be disappointed! But be warned - since it's popular, you may encounter a bit of a wait. There's a line up when they open at 1030am, so either go early, or be prepared to soak up some sun while you wait for a table. Can't wait until we are back in Kelowna to visit again :)

This time we wanted to try something new and picked KRAFTY kitchen based on their own statement "Farm to table eatery focusing on high quality local and sustainable food", "All of our ingredients are of the highest quality, minimally processed and handled with care." We ordered Pulled Duck Poutine and Crispy Chicken Drum both are shareable. Pulled Duck Poutine had three cheese curds in total, super dry fries (the kind that spent long time in the freezer). The gravy from the package did not save the dish, just added high sodium content. The duck confit itself was alright, but nothing to write home about. Crispy Chicken Drum (please see the picture) was strangely thin drumsticks that tasted days old. Drumsticks were not cooked the day they were served to us, I am absolutely positive about that. The spicy sauce did not save the situation. As a result, we both had stomach problems about an hour after we tried Krafty's kitchen. The atmosphere of a school cafeteria, cold metal chairs, music rather loud than pleasant. We are not going back. The only good thing about that kitchen was water served in glass bottles.

I started coming here on a daily basis just to indulge in the high caliber of their lunch menu. A beef burger done medium well, or however you like, makes for amazing flavour. The crispy chicken burger has the tastiest buttermilk breading I have ever had at a restaurant. And the daily deli is always fresh and different. The Dinners are even better, and has become my number one place to book for anniversary dinners or special occasions that require fine dining quality food.

The food is alright, though the portions are on the smaller side. My main complaint was the music. Obnoxious and obnoxiously loud. Definitely not a place to have a nice bite and a good conversation. You won’t be able to hear yourself think.

This place is our go to for a night out. The portions are not huge but we never have left feeling hungry because the food is real and satisfying. One of our dishes actually had one of us crying tears it was so good. Brunch was ok but dinner is unmatched. And the staff is always polite and quick.
