J's Cafe Brunch & Bistro is definitely a hidden gem in Kelowna. The service, food, and ambience was fantastic. It was such a great experience and I would highly recommend anyone to stop by. In the first picture, I had the "J's Classic Brunch Plate" and for the second picture I had the "Singapore Granchio Linguine". For the third photo, the sandwich on the left was the "Bulgogi & Cheddar Egg Drop Sandwich" and the one on the right was the "Gochujang Pulled Pork Panini". Out of all the items I had today, I highly recommend the Bulgogi & Cheddar Egg Drop Sandwich. Cheers and thank you Chef J.

One of my favourite spots in Kelowna! Their food is amazing, I have nothing but good things to say. Everything on their menu is really great - I highly recommend the bulgogi dosirak, the spicy rice cake, and the carbonara! Not to mention their drinks, their sodas are so refreshing and the buttercream latte is a personal favourite! I can’t count the number of times I came here, I just keep coming back because the food is just so good. The staff and the owners are also super friendly, I can’t recommend enough!

New hidden gem cafe in downtown Kelowna's Cultural District. I came by for the soft open and then again for lunch this week. Many of the dishes and desserts are flavorful and well presented. You can definitely tell the chef is professionally trained and experienced by his presentation and then you can see his wall of medals. A cozy place just to pick up dessert or coffee, but then you'll find some surprising international (Korean) dishes that you may not expect at a small cafe. My favourites are the spicy (actually kind of sweet) rice cake, Bulgogi dosirak (bento lunchbox), and delectable Bingsu (shaved ice). The building is currently undergoing renovations and there's limited seating and of course staff shortages right now. So during lunch rush you may need to be patient for your orders. They are brand new and just learning to adapt to the demand with 3 workers. Good things come to those who wait. Once the patio is open and renos done, I'm sure it'll be even busier.

I was treated to brunch at J's Cafe Brunch & Bistro as a birthday gift with my son. What a lovely little bistro! Chef Jacob Lee greeted us warmly, making me feel like family. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. Chef Lee and his staff have created a unique dining experience combining favourites with some Asian treats, along with a great beverage menu. Highly recommended.

This is the newest hot spot in downtown. The Singapore Granchio Linguine was so yummy and the Korean spicy rice cake was the best I've had in Canada! Can't wait until their patio opens. I will come back soon. I am dreaming about it❤️

It was our first time trying J’s Cafe this weekend, and my husband and I were so impressed by this little hidden gem. It’s a new casual cafe with a cozy atmosphere and incredibly good food. The menu is small but has a enough choices that would suit any taste. They have a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and we had gone there for lunch. I tried the Bulgogi bento box and my husband tried the Bulgogi noodle salad. The medley of flavours were incredible! Like the kind of flavours you would experience at an upscale restaurant. The ‘farm to table’ quality is right on point, and so are their prices. Very good value for your dining dollar. Needless to say, we’ll definitely be back and I would highly recommend this place.

I think, in a year's time, this place will have a line up of people waiting to get in, just like with other restaurants with cult followings in big cities. The food is unique and exquisite. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Good food! Had the Bulgogi Dosirak, which had lots of variety on the plate between the potato noodles, rice, Korean beef, sausage, beets salad and kimchi on the side. Their BC Peach Ade was refreshing, with lots of peach bits at the bottom of the drink. Would like to come back!

Chef's touch makes the difference. At first, I dropped by only for iced coffee, but I was hungry and tried panini. And I was surprised with the quality. Now this cafe is in my regular "restaurant" list. Bongole spaghetti is my favorite. My wife's favorite is Dduck bokki. Original Bingsu is the best dessert. The only drawback is the fact that there is no white wine. When I research little bit about the owner/chef Jacob Lee, he seems over spec for a "cafe" considering his brilliant career as a sous chef and in cooking competitions. Right now, there is ongoing patio construction and it hides cafe entrance. Probably that's why there are not many customers. For me, this is good chance to enjoy upscale restaurant quality food in a cafe price. Hopefully my favorite menus will last after the construction finishes and the chef is super busy.

We had the Jam Bong Ramen, Singapore Granchio Linguine, Beef Bulgogi Bento Box, Buttercream Latter and Dalgona iced Coffee......oh....my.....god......the flavours were incredible. The Ramen broth although not ramen noodles was absolutely divine. It was soooo satisfying. Every bite and flavour was umami. The linguine with the soft shell crabs were perfectly al dente and coated with buttery nutty toasty seafood like flavours that simply cannot be replicated. The beef bulgogi was tenderized, carmelized and really really good. The Dalgona coffee was outstanding and more flavourful and deeper than most bbts ive had in town. I compare it to bbt because it reminds me of brown sugar milk tea. It comes with dalgona candy on the side, makes you think of squid games. This location is tucked away beside chico chicken(which is also fireeeeeee). Please check this place out you really won't be disappointed. Farm to table...fresh..unique...flavourful...soulful...we felt so good after eating. I have to try their sandwiches next.
