You eat with your eyes. This restaurant is truly amazing. From the time you are greeted and seated, you will thoroughly enjoy your experience. There are little surprises for you but I don't want you give them away. Our server Renee was outstanding. She was always there when you needed her without hovering over us. The food, what can I say except delicious. The presentation is beautiful, the flavors are out of this world. If you are able to get a seat to watch them prepare meals, you will be amazed. There are so many more things I could say but you must go and experience this restaurant. Thank you Renee for making our dining experience do wonderful. To all the staff, well done. Highly recommend you try Gather. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Ordered 2 mains and 1 starter for a party of two, which was a good amount of food. Was served an amuse bouche with melon and prosciutto, a nice and refreshing start to the meal! All dishes we had (caponata with silken tofu, gnocchi fritti, bibimbap bowl) were unique and a tasty combination of flavours, not what you'd typically find at other restaurants in the area. Nice ambience in the restaurant with high ceilings and dim lighting. Would come back for a special occasion, the price point isn't for everyday dining - great food, and excellent and attentive service!

I love the flexibility of this space. It is comfortable to have a meal or to just sit for coffee. It has a great vibe and the staff are amazing. Although the menu is small they seem to have something for everyone, even with dietary restrictions. The staff were knowledgeable about the food and happy to check if certain items had dairy in it or not. I look forward to spending more time here!

A part of me didn’t want to right a review because this place is a hidden gem and I selfishly would like to keep all the baking for myself haha. But actually this restaurant is so lovely I’ve had the crispy tofu and it was lovely nice flavour good texture and a perfect portion size. I really enjoy that the kitchen is right there in the open so you can see the food being prepared for someone keep me who can be a bit of a germaphobe it’s reassuring seeing how they prepare food and everything is handled in a very clean and sanitary method. Now my favourite part of father is the baking. The cruffin (croissant muffin filled with a beautiful silky vanilla custard) is just amazing. The flavour the texture everything is perfect I could pretty much live off of these delish little bundles. The other thing I’m obsessed with are the bear claws not only is the name cute and funny these little paw puff pastry’s are so delish! If you go to this restaurant do yourself a favour and get a bear claw and cruffin, trust me you will love them! Also just want to note that the staff there are so lovely Ben, Rachel, Dana and Alex basically everyone who works in the front and answers the phone when I call to get baking set aside are so helpful and just really nice people! I can’t say how much I appreciate the staff and their kindness. Because of the exceptional customer service and the delicious food I find myself stopping in on almost a daily basis!

Exquisite! Truly magnifique. 정말 맛있는!!!! Seriously though the fusing of Korean and Italian is nothing less than sheer genius! To be done with such flair and flavor... I generally attempt to incorporate a certain level of humor in my reviews but I have nothing but the most sincerest praise for this place. Nothing less than 10/5 stars should be given. Truly enjoyed. Honestly one of the best dining experiences I've had in the Okanagan. The service here was exceptional - friendly, kind, genuine. And the food - oh my gosh the food! Excellent quality, delicious flavours, and best of all, INTERESTING. Not the same thing you'll get anywhere else. Extensive wine list as well. Delicious soju. They go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience here. Definitely recommend, and we will definitely be back!

Came here with my partner for my birthday and had such an amazing time. Staff really go the extra mile and the little things they do really go a long way such as the appetizer and smoked aperitif you are presented with on arrival. Beautiful open kitchen concept and its hard to keep your eyes off the kitchen staff working hard and crafting delicious meals. We love going out for dinners and our meal at Gather was one of the best we have had in Kelowna. Go check it out! You will not be disappointed!

I started off with their fried tofu and it was fantastic. The crunchy texture paired with the sweetness of the pepper sauce coating them was a home run. Definitely the best fried tofu I've ever had. After I had a steak dish with vegetables and a soy sauce. The vegtables were cooked perfectly and really well paired with the sauce balancing nicely with the steak. This steak was perfection being smoky, juicy and cut thin for many pieces to enjoy. The chef has alot to be proud of and this restaurant with their great service and ambience is truly a staple of Kelowna.

A very trendy, innovative restaurant. The menu had a lot of variety and had something for everyone. The food was fantastic and was definitely some of the best we’ve had in Kelowna. When you arrive, they give you some free little tasters which was really nice. The drinks were also great, but the cocktail menu was very small and didn’t have a whole lot of unique offerings. We highly recommend trying the Korean Tacos - they were our favourite part!

It is a great space. Open, loft like ceiling and great glass windows. You can sit at bar and see all the prep work. A Korean and Italian fusion with to go items and a full assortment of teas and coffees. We had a cruffin which is a croissant/Muffin mashup. Very tasty. They do a pizza bread but I would personally get it with out the additional mayo and ketchup that is put on top. Unnecessary. Fried tofu with crispy quinoa was very good. The Bulgogi meatballs are excellent. Would have again. I would post pictures of the other good but it got devoured immediately. We will be back.

Excellent public relations, and this experience has left us feeling better about Gather than we likely otherwise would have! We all tried the Taste of Gather menu option, and it was phenomenal! Had the pleasure of eating dinner here for my boyfriend's birthday. The food was fantastic, but the customer service is what really has me leaving a review. I didn't catch our server's name but he was a young man with brown hair - very kind and did everything he could to make it feel like a special occasion. At the end of the night I accidentally left my phone in the restaurant. Our server ran down the block to find us and give it back. I can't say enough positive things about the above and beyond service and will definitely be back.

Since they've opened we would come here whenever visiting Kelowna..about a half a dozen times so far. We've returned because we have always enjoyed it. They updated their menu since our first visits and have knocked it out of the park. The service was friendly and efficient, as always. Our table shared the gnocci, we had the seafood linguine and prawn bibimbap. The food was PHENOMENAL!!!!! So tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. This place is a must try! (Currently reservations only-no walk-in)

We found this restaurant randomly while we were staying in downtown Kelowna and had the most amazing experience! Location: the restaurant is very convenient to get to as it's right in the heart of downtown. It was walking distance from our airbnb Ambiance: sophisticated, modern, open concept space. They have spaced out the desk for covid and it definitely does not feel cramped at all. Right off the bat we were greeted by the staff and given complimentary smoked sake shots, which was very much appreciated Food: the dishes are a fushion of korean and italian. We ordered fried tofu with crispy quinoa, smoked slow cooked pork belly, and pork cutlet in pork jus gochujang reduction sauce. All the dishes tasted amazing and were presented beautifully! Extra mention for the tofu dish - the crispy quinoa definitely made it stand out. You can really taste the applewood smoke in the pork belly too. We were also surprised with the portion size considering the quality of the food and the price point. We were sad to be so full we didn't make it to dessert. Staff: the service was amazing and the staff was very warm and welcoming. Our server was also very knowledgeable in explaining all the dishes. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Kelowna!

Went in for a staff only soft open. It was so delicious that I'm writing a review before the place opens. Presented to us was a Kimbop roll with kimchee and micro greens. Everything was cooked to perfection. Following that, we had fried rice cakes with a sweet and sour sauce. Again, I can't emphasize how delicious it is. Everything was paired with housemade breads and scones. Would recommend to anyone and everyone! Keep an eye out for when Gather opens!

Our friends made a reservation for dinner however it was unfortunately missed and we had to sit on the patio initially. They however were very apologetic and provided us a Prosecco on them. They then moved us in as soon as a table inside was free. The staff/waitress who helped us was so friendly and cheerful making sure we were taken care of throughout the evening. Food was delicious, my friends thought so as well. It was a rocky start however the way they took care of us made it a great dinner experience.

Another great night had at Gather. As my fourth time coming here I have never been dissapointed. The food is unique and absolutely delicous (maybe the best in Kelowna). It's obvious each dish is well thought out when it comes to the flavours and presentation. Went here with my girlfriend, her friend; who are both Korean, and her friend's husband, so we had high expectations. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint. We ordered 2 starters (tartare and tacos) and 4 mains (pork belly, short rib steak, linguine and the poke bowl) to share and I honestly felt like 'if this was my last meal on earth, I'd be happy.' Yes, it was that good! If this restaurant ever expands to the lower mainland, I'll be their number 1 customer. Definitely coming back again ☺️

Came here to celebrate my eighth anniversary with my husband, and from the moment we walked in--it was an elevated experience. The servers were ridiculously kind and meticulous in helping us with whatever we needed. The food was AMAZING, and the atmosphere was beautiful. I'd really recommend going on a Saturday evening--they have live music. Paige was the server for our table, and she really went above and beyond--I had a little question and she brought out some equipment and gave me a demonstration on how things worked--it was exceptional. Hands-down, probably one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant--we will absolutely be back.

Stopped by for lunch the other day and enjoyed the daily special Pork Cutlet Bowl. The Korean style pork cutlet is hard to find in Kelowna and this one was made very well. This was during their soft lunch only open, but now they are doing dinner too. Plenty of choices for lunch and dinner. I can't say I've ever been to a place that offered Italian-Korean food in my life. And as a Kelowna-raised Canadian-born Asian that's lived in Korea as an expat, I can definitely say this place offers great authentic food from an experienced Korean chef who has Italian food skills. I look forward to trying more of their menu in the near future. I hear the Bibimbap is the hot lunch item right now. Give it a try!

This is some of the best Korean infusion food I’ve ever had. It was absolutely incredible. All the dishes are so flavourful and authentic tasting, the smoked dishes smell amazing. Before even ordering we got a smoked peach shot and a small appetizer that blew us away. the ambience is modern Chic and staff super friendly. I highly recommend it!!!

Beautiful room with a small outdoor seating area. It was busy for lunch, I would recommend reservations for dinner. Our server was very good but run off his feet. Like so many places, not enough staff. Well worth a try!

This was our first time at Gather but it won't be our last. The restaurant definitely lived up to its reviews. The service from Daniele was some of the best that we've had in Kelowna. The little taste from the kitchen and the bar while we decided what to order and the unique food, both in presentation and flavour, really shows that they care about what they are doing. If you haven't eaten here, make plans to do it soon, if have eaten here before, you need to go again. I know I will!

This is hands down the best restaurant in Kelowna. The food is flavorful and just amazing. We had the carbonara and pork belly which was unique and so tasty. Great atmosphere and service. We’ll definitely be back.

I took my parents to treat them dinner. We all had a great time, having wonderful food there. Their pork cutlet is the best! That’s my fav food, so I know how it should be. You can’t go wrong with their pork cutlet. We had fried tofu as our appy, and it’s gone in 5 mins! It was that good. The portion was generous! I highly recommend this restaurant! They deserve 5 stars!

A smaller restaurant with an intimate feel. The drinks and food were amazing. The restaurant is Korean Italian fusion and the menu, although small, had a god variety of food. I had the parmesan fries and gnocchi, garlic bread, and the tuna poke bowl. The location was great too, walking distance from the lake and hotels.

Interesting menu and decent wine and cocktail list. Ordered Cesar salad, seafood linguini, poke bowl. Salad and linguini were very good, especially the salad which had unique flavors and ingredients, but still honored a classic Cesar salad in many ways. I will be craving it for the next few days! The portions are very generous and prices quite reasonable. Service was also very professional and attentive. Only negative was the poke bowl which was overpowered by the taste of sesame oil and too sweet. We could barely eat it, which was a waste of some beautiful raw tuna. We sent 90% of the plate back, but no offer was made to replace the dish or correct it. Having said that, I would definitely go back and try some other dishes.

Outstanding food and service We made a reservation with the Opentable app. We walked in to a very interesting place. We were warmly greeted and given a choice of tables. Soon after we were seated the hostess arrived at our table with a little tomato taster followed by an Applewood smoked shooter (sparkling cranberry for us non-drinkers), it was literally served in a cloud of Applewood smoke. We started with the Patate Fritte wich was fantastic. I hade the Samon Wasabi which was not like anything I have ever tasted and it was cooked perfectly. The veg was charred, tender, yet crisp. soo goooood! My partner had the Sortrib Steak Tataki which she loved. And I have to say it is some of the best service we have ever had and we eat out alot. Thanks to the crew at the Gather for an amazing night.

Amazing food and great atmosphere! Came in with a friend visiting from out of town on the 20th of March and we were both highly impressed with the customer service along with the presentation of our dishes. We even got a gift of lemon liqueur shots from the chef which was really nice! If I could give a 6th star I definitely would! Will definitely be coming back as I think gather has the best food in town!

A unique restaurant in downtown Kelowna, Korean and Italian fusion that actually takes that concept all the way. They now have a more traditional setup, you no longer order from the front, so it is more of a restaurant experience. The focused menu options continues to be excellent with some really nice dishes, the crispy tofu, simulating a sweets and sour pork like dish is particularly good. Try the gnocchi as well. Layout is a bit odd due to the nature of the space but this restaurant will provide a great dining option for those looking for a atypical food experience in Kelowna. Highly recommended.

I had dinner there few months ago with a vegan colleague, and it was excellent. Atmosphere is light, with lots of young people coming and going. And I'm still salivating on those fantastic gnocchi and salmon poke bowl. I wasn't very hungry so had them to go and enjoyed next morning straight out of fridge - still yummy and delicious.

This is one of the most unique and impressive restaurants in Kelowna, in my opinion! With stunning presentation, incredible food, and a comfortable feel I can't stress just how awesome an experience this place can offer. I was particularly awe struck at the use of Applewood smoke for the presentation of the food, and the attention to detail right down to the bill was really completed the evening. Will return, and will be bringing others!

Visited Gather restaurant last week during our visit to Kelowna. Can’t say how much we loved the place . The place setup, decor, cleanliness, tasty food and the passion of the chef can be seen in the presentation and the taste of the food . This place is fusion of Korean and Italian food and is just amazing and price of the food is worth it to every single penny . I would love to go back to this place and would recommend everyone to give it a try . ????????????
