We came in by boat and this place has take out so we chose to eat here. I ordered the Penne pasta with broccoli. It was wonderful, came with hot garlic bread, the pasta was warm, came with melting cheddar cheese on top and a thin tasty white sauce.

We were discriminated against for refusing to wear a mask for medical reasons. The owners behaviour was atrocious, misinformed and ridiculous. They humiliated us in front of other clients. We were already sitting down without masks on and they insisted we wear masks at the table while other guests did not. They are disgraceful. We have contacted CHRA and CDN charter of rights and freedoms to submit our claim. We have video evidence of their behaviour. We walked down the street were we spent $150 on a fantastic lunch, no mask no problem, great service.

Had dinner here a few time and found the meals ok. Went back this year since things are now open again and was very dissatisfied. My husband's meal as well as mine seemed like they were reheated from a previous day's or week's menu. Would definitely not recommend. Always a beautiful location but food has definitely gone down hill. Would have rated this meal no star.

Ordered the Portuguese chicken at lunch time when they were very busy. I asked how long it would take for my meal and they said about 15 to 20 min. 42 minutes later, I finally received my meal which was cold. The chicken looked like they went to Foodland next door, got a BBQ chicken on sale, and put it on my plate. No Portuguese flavor there at all, except the hot sauce which was like Franks Red Hot. I have been here before and had the total opposite experience where the service was quick and the food hot and tasty. Being lied to about the wait time and getting a cold meal does not make for a good customer experience.

Nice place, we stopped during Thanksgiving weekend, pleasant and friendly stuff, was nice to sit at corner and look at swing bridge and canal. Deserts were good was a pleasant experience.

Unfortunately their lunch menu is very limited. The dinner menu looked better. Too bad they don't serve the dinner menu until 4pm. It was a mediocre meal for lunch.

Went to the patio here with my husband, 3 years old and infant. There was lots of room to have the stroller with us and the staff made us feel very comfortable dining with our children. The lunch menu was a bit limited but it was good. Had a nice glass of rose and husband had a local beer. The restaurant is right by the locks so lots to watch while dining. Would recommend when in Bobcaygeon!

Food is quite generic. A small menu and 95% of customers were seniors. Our waitress was very nice. Place was pretty clean but with the washrooms i had trouble flushing the toilets. I think in the summer it would be pretty when the big doors can be opened and a summer breeze is felt. (:

Everything we had was delicious. Nachos, parmesan chicken, Portuguese chicken, French onion soup... All very good! Prompt and friendly service. When in Bobcageon, this is one place to stop and try out their food!

During Covid this restaurant has been going full steam to provide the community with great meals. Picked up the family rotisserie chicken dinner and it did not disappoint. Juicy flavorful chicken (huge portion) and amazing sides (we chose salad and veg). Fresh bread....and amazing friendly staff. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Ordered two orders of fish and chips,with coleslaw on the side, got the fish and the coleslaw.......BUT NO CHIPS! How do you send out orders of fish and chips.....WITH NO CHIPS !!!!! Very disappointed, after a long drive out from the cottage for a special birthday dinner . The pieces of fish were small, the store bought coleslaw dressing was drowning what could have been an almost good sidedish. Needless to say it was very overpriced and I'm still hungry.... when I called back to find out where the chips were...I was told they were extra....the server taking orders on the phone clearly has no clue or grasp of the menu, having explained the order twice and it was still wrong. Update. Received a call back from the owner, who apologized and is going to rectify the situation. We are going to definitely give them a second chance due to excellent customer service provided by the owner.

We were here for dinner. Nice variety of food on the menu for meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. Service was friendly, and very quick. Food was wonderful. Good sized portions, tasty, and cooked very nicely. Priced very reasonable for what we had. The restaurant is very clean, warm, and inviting. I would go back anytime.

Had an amazing lunch! Great food and service in a newly refurbished setting. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The entrance is open to the street and very inviting. Will definitely eat here again.
