We were a group of five who ordered a number of items. I am basing my review on the items I ate: cheese tortellini, Cesar salad, garlic bread, creme brulee, and gelato. Food, service, and atmosphere were very very good. Prices reasonable, great wine list, and very clean restaurant. My cheese tortellini was slightly overcooked, but this is a minor thing compared to how wonderful everything else was. We had a great time and look forward to exploring your menu further!

The food is amazing! Love their pasta! We had takeout and it was really good. Can't wait to come in and try their summer patio. The setting is nice and modern. Service is wonderful! Was invited to.join a group.of locals which really like this place. Great ambience, small place, great food and selection.

The pasta and atmosphere are fantastic. Superb location as well and the staff they have working there are great. My only complaint would be the prices. The dishes average around $25 which for an average portion of pasta, albeit very well made pasta, are above average.

Service is good, fast. My wife is a pasta lover, and for her, this is the best pasta she have tasted ever. We’ve tried different pasta from Vancouver and Alberta. Me, is not a pasta lover, but still feels very good. We visit this pasta both on our way to Vancouver and return.

Amazing!... My absolute favorite place in town! Nicole and Barry are so friendly and nice, amazing service. The food, of course amazing. I love the cozy, dim lit atmosphere as well. Stylish, but not fancy, the lineup down the block before opening time says it all. Great, classic pasta dishes, served with a smile. When you're ready to leave, take a moment to watch the floor show in the open kitchen. The culinary skills and exemplary teamwork on display are jaw dropping.

This place is amazing! Delicious food, friendly staff, totally worth waiting in line for. The recently renovated space is super cosy and the perfect place for a date, a birthday dinner or just to relax at the end of the day. Their sauces are thick and creamy and extremely flavourful. Portion sizes are large and definitely satisfying! Will go back to this place again and again, no doubt.

Picture this, you're traveling through Kamloops. You're looking for a great dinner and check the reviews on Google maps. You see 2 very highly rated places, Brownstone and Peter's Pasta. As it is a Monday they're both closed. You decide to go to Mittz Kitchen instead. Tuesday rolls around and you want dinner again. You decide on the pasta place because Brownstone is very pricey. You show up, there's a line, people are walking out with takeout containers. All of this is a good sign for a restaurant. So how did it all go so wrong? The service was fine. 10$ tall boy beers, not on tap. 25-30$ bowls of pasta, half the size you'd expect. Pasta comes super al dente, no choice. Very likely fake parm, had to ask for 4 extra portions to be enough for 2 bowls of pasta. Garlic bread is NOT complimentary... go to East Side Marios instead. None of these problems are there and it's half the price.

Peter’s Pasta has been one of my fav local restaurants for many years. They continue to make the best pasta in town and their seafood linguine is to die for. Honestly, what’s in the sauce?... it’s heavenly. Nicole is super friendly and a great face to see serving up some of the best eats in town. Cheers to you Peter ????

This is my go to restaurant whenever I am hosting company from out of town. They never cease to provide excellent service and a full experience start to finish of excellent food. The caesar salad to the entree (all their fresh made pasta and sauces are amazing!) and desserts. Love it at Peter's, love the new owners as much as the old ones, over all experience continues to be top notch.

Would give it zero if I could...used to be a favorite place and I was looking forward to taking my Mom to dinner there. We waited (first in line) for over 30 minutes and workers kept walking past but no one even acknowledged that we were there. Others left and finally we did too. You expect the employees to at least come and give you a heads up for how long the wait will be, say hello....something, anything!

One of my worst dining experiences ever. Took 10 minutes after I walked into the restaurant for me to even be addressed in anyway. Finally was told it was about a 20 minute wait which I would not be allowed to wait in my car for. I've been to many sit down restaurants that don't take reservations unless you walk in but never one that makes you wait in line either in a crowded seating area (during covid no less) or outside in the cold. I decide to wait because reviews of their pasta are so good at this point I realize my phone is dying and ask if there's somewhere I can charge it, again no, and no I can't charge my phone in my vehicle either (I am here for dinner alone and would like to answer work messages I've left unattended throughout a busy day as well as have a phone to walk back to my car with after dark). The couple infront of me assures that the pasta is worth the so far bad service and the wait. It was not. I ordered the charcuterie board, which was a solid meh, definitely the worst one I've ever had, though I'm used to good restaurants. I also ordered the shrimp Alfredo, which came loaded with shrimp, perhaps to try to hide the watery flavorless sauce. Straight up, it was as thick as maybe 3.5% milk. The pasta itself was maybe a 6/10. Not sure if the hostess hated me for being baffled with the low quality of service that I was given bad food or if this is their standard. Regardless that was awful and I regret coming here. I always tip 20%, this is the first time I've left no tip since I was very young and very broke.

No doubt Great tasting pasta. But unfortunately they rip you off when you dine out. I paid 25bucks for a shrimp alfredo linguine. I received 10bucks worth of pasta and 1 lousy piece of garlic bread.... rethink when dining out...

The service was amazing! This is a hidden gem in Kamloops. We went with a large group, lined up before it opened to get a table. The server was fantastic with my kids, brought their food out exactly as they had ordered (they're not the easiest kids to please) and everyone loved what they ordered. My oldest had seconds! The pasta is fresh, made in house. It's our favourite place to go when we're in town!

I do not like to leave bad reviews but I have to. We have been trying to "support local" throughout the pandemic. We ordered the other night. Online wasn't working properly. The phone number didn't work. We had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes even after explaining the website and phone issues. We tried to make this right with the manager and she didn't care at all, not even an apology. The food was mediocre at best and the smallest portions I've ever seen. We will not be back.

While the pasta was decent, the portion size was very poor. Value for dollar spent was extremely disappointing. Our take out dishes were literally 60% full, just barely enough to fill a medium dinner plate. For the $54 we spent for two dishes (including tip) it was a very frustrating to have to get some granola bars to fill me up. Given the generally very good reviews, it was definitely an unfortunate first and last impression.

Peters is by far the best pasta restaurant I have ever been too. I crave their mushroom chicken year round and have been consistently blown away by any dish I have tried. Even thinking about it right now has me thinking of how I can get some in my life sooner :) Seriously, Peter's Pasta is amazing. Worth the drive from wherever you come. They are exceptional. I was scared that after changing hands from the original owners it might dilute the quality but luckily that worry was unwarranted as they are every bit as good as they were previously. An amazing establishment that I recommend as highly as is possible. Every bite makes you savour it in awe and look forward to the next... And now I can't stop thinking about their food, great. Go enjoy some Peters Pasta, thank yourself and the staff later.

On a recent trip to Kamloops bc we went for pasta at peters pasta,best pasta I have ever had,great service and also got to meet the owner who has since retired but his daughter and son in law have taken over and didn’t miss a beat.any dish you order is excellent but get there early since it is a smaller family run business and fills up fast.

My Wife and I had dinner this evening at Peter`s Pasta. There was a long lineup at 5:15 but we only had to wait five minutes or so as we only needed a table for two. If you want a good pasta dinner with very polite and friendly staff, eat here. The food was excellent, prices are good and the wait time for food after ordering was very quick. I'm not sure how they do it but this will be a new go to restaurant for us. Thanks to the staff and Merry Christmas.

Very friendly staff, fantastic food, service is great, very attentive to each patrons needs. Always a good meal, relaxed atmosphere (even with all COVID restrictions). The prices have gone up in past year but totally expected and not unreasonable. Will definitely recommend to my friends and I will be back when they return from holiday break

We had a great dinner at Peter's Pasta last night. Our food was delicious (highly recommend the spicy garlic sauce) and the service was very good! We were well taken care of and everyone was super friendly. This was our first time eating in a restaurant since Covid-19 arrived. Everyone was nicely spaced out and it felt safe. We will be back.

I have been going to Peters Pasta since 1995, when Peter and his wife ran the business. The FOOD was out of this world, the service was second to none. My wife and I frequented Peters and my wife would try different dishes, myself I always always stayed with Ceasar salad and veal garlic. I never used a menu after the 1st time we went there. Fast forward to September 2020 Nicole and husband took over from Peter and his Wife. Carried out some renovations and absolutely nothing has changed, they do an outstanding job. This is a Kamloops institution that is not to be missed. The veal mushroom pasta is absolutely the best thing I've ever had in a restaurant anywhere ever. Still as good as it was the first time we went 24 years ago!

Overall, I liked Peter's Pasta, and I would go back. The chicken mushroom alfredo was awesome, and reminded me of homemade mushroom sauces from back in Poland. However, the pasta seemed undercooked. I'm no expert, but I've never had pasta that underdone before. The noodles are thick, but still crunchy in the middle. I'm not sure if that was intentional, or if our meals were just underdone by accident. They have limited hours, so plan ahead. We showed up about 15 minutes after opening, and got seated about 25 minutes later.

Did not expect to find such a nice Italian place in Kamloops on our way through. The pasta is FRESH - as are the sauces. Do yourself a favor and get the mushroom sauce. The creamy tomato is good too, but I ended up putting the mushroom sauce from my partner's dish on mine anyway. Lots of options - meat, seafood, etc. Busy place but they manage to squeeze us in. Great for families!
