The service is phenomenal. Went here with my mom and kid brother. We weren't having a good vacation but the server cheered us up. He was very funny and quick! The food was really good. I had the lamb roast and my mom and brother had the lamb chops. Both were excellent. I highly recommend coming here. A great mid stop for lunch or dinner on the way home from Alberta. Will always stop by now!

Food quality was very good, flavorful, tender, and visually nice. The portions were huge. They could have given us half portions and we still would have had food left over. Great value for the price. We had 2 person Greek platter. The gave us a gluten free option. Service was excellent; we didn't have someone interrupting us repeatedly but we were attended to as server made consistent eye contact and passed by to check our needs. We will go back.

* Rating reluctantly changed. Last time I went it in with family it seems as though this spot isn't following public health orders with regards to COVID, which is really unfortunate. First time at Minos last night and had a great experience. Spacious, clean, good ambience/decor, and staff were really friendly and helpful (Jade was hilarious). Food portions are generous, and the food itself was well-made and delicious. We were also told that all the lamb is halal (win!). Will definitely be back, and would highly recommend.

Great flavour, great service. This smaller, long established Greek restaurant had no problem serving our party of 9. All the food was served hot and exactly as requested. With an almost full house of regulars and travelers alike they had the gift of making everyone feel special.

A couple of weeks ago I was in Kamloops visiting my family. It was my daughters birthday and we decided to go for Greek food. I've always been curious about Minos because I love Greek food and I have heard great things about it. We decided to go there for her dinner and were not disappointed. Not only did we have the greatest Greek food I have ever had,we also had the best server I have ever had. I only wished I asked this amazing young lady what her name was. She was fantastic. I highly recommend Minos.

My only issue was that they turned off their phones on a busy night and all I wanted was a take away so had to go down twice to order and then pick up. But the food is worth every dollar spent. Greek ribs and prawn dinner were just yum.

Although there are four choices for Greek food in town, in my mind there is only one. The authentic atmosphere as soon as you enter is exactly what you would expect if you might go into a family-owned restaurant in Mykonos. The food is absolutely fabulous and is not polluted by North American influence. You must try the lamb shoulder and the rack of lamb. The calamari will have you coming back while at the same time avoiding all the imitators at other restaurants. We had a large complicated table with separate billing which was handled in an expert yet friendly manner. I am well travelled in people are often surprised when I tell them the best Greek food can be found in Kamloops.

We ordered the roast lamb and it was very tender and tasty. They gave us a good amount of salad, rice and 1/2 Greek potato. Service was excellent and they checked up on us from time to time. Dinner was served within 15-20 minutes. Nice ambiance, easy to find and parking in the back.

First time to this restaurant, it was packed full of people which is always good! The staff were super friendly and the food tasty and priced right. No smashing of plates or glasses like other Greek joints but that's OK! The cozy atmosphere was welcomed after the long 7 hour drive we had that day.

This place is AMAZING. probably my favorite restaurant in all of Kamloops. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly & treat you like family after one visit. Most importantly, their kalamari is to die for — I would drive from the Lower Mainland to Kamloops just for the food at Minos.

It's my second time eating their food, and first time in restaurant. They do not disappoint! Seriously incredible food, super friendly, and prompt service. The presentation is top notch, and just wow. If there was a special six star option, they'd be getting it. Their decor, and interior paint is perfect. ???? Edit: I wrote this sitting here, as I was waiting for everyone else to finish. Couldn't take the chance of forgetting to leave this review. Highly recommended.

Went to Mino's last night for the 1st time in awhile, and, it was amazing. My partner was having a bad day, our server, Jade made us feel completely welcome and at home. Newer, I think, but the experience was as good as the food, which was incredible.

Had a great experience at Minos. The food was delicious and the menu invites me to return. We were curious about the lemon potato but it was very good. Serving sizes were generous. The service was very pleasant. The restaurant could improve by have some real placemats and napkins instead of disposable paper.

However, we had a dinner party last night ( 12 ) , and I must say it felt like the good old days again....our server was pure delight ! We shared the Platter, $ 56. more than enough for 2. So we brought some home for lunch today, kind of like what you do with Chinese Food. This place has atmosphere. Note all that big. Parking is on the street only.

Food is good quality but the times I've eaten here the rice has been lackluster which puts a big damper on the entire meal. That and they didn't give me any Tzatziki sauce or lemon on my takeout order. Slightly pricey but thats normal for Greek. Overall still enjoyed the food and would recommend eating here.

Honestly, just like it used to be. The dinner for 2 platter is absolutely massive....like we ate it for 3 different meals each. Ideally I'd like to see a smaller dinner for 2 for $30 or $40 instead of getting 4 meals and a snack for $60. I didn't think I'd ever say that... But the dinner for 2 is almost too huge. Price is fair, but dial them both back a bit and it would be better.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Minos. Our waiter was attentive, accommodating (2 kids in tow) and great sense of humor. Apart from the absolutly huge portions everything was cooked to perfection. Quite possibly the best Beef Souvlaki I've ever had. We dont eat out very often but we will be back guaranteed.
