Good spot to come for a quick bite. Their croque madam pop tart was not what I expected. The outer puff pastry was flakes while the insides were very creamy. Almost reminded me more of a chicken pot pie "pop tart" than a croque madam, but still enjoyable.

This is the farthest North I have been and this eating experience was second to none. We ordered the Lamb burger and waffle thing and oh my where they awesome. The ambiance of the Raven is great. The playlist was created by one of the workers and we actually got her handle. There is so much more to try on the menu I wish we had more time. I have ALS and I was able to walk in well. Loved this place.

If I could leave a higher review I could. I am very picky about my beef as I only butcher my own. This was the best tenderloin I have ever had in a restaurant. My wife's meal a seafood pot was also amazing and the service was on par with the extraordinary meal. Happily recommend and will return.

I went yesterday there with my parents and my son after a long drive we have the soup of the day and it was a boiled beets in a little bit of broth no flavor what so ever and when the waiter cleaned up said oh you don't like beet! And I was charged for it i didn't eat it! Food was extremely overpriced for the quality of it! From the 4 meals one was good! I was sick the entire afternoon!

Stopped by for a desert and was so impressed we came back the next night for dinner. Met Mike who owns and runs the restaurant. Always enjoy a place that has a working owner. That extra touch really shows. The salmon was amazing but the best was still the pecan pie (vegan tart). My wife wok likely be talking about the hot chocolate drink for while. We will be back.

Seated right away without a reservation which was nice. We ordered lamb, steak and the Pharoah, unfortunately all three meat dishes in the Pharoah were over cooked by a lot (lamb, chicken and beef), as well the sauce pairings with the meat was not well thought out. Overall the price for this place is slightly over what it should be that's why I give it 3 stars.

My wife and I shared the cheese fondue and the steak and prawns entree. It's was the perfect combination. They have absolutely amazing craft cocktails, our server Janice was so welcoming and attentive and the kitchen staff is so talented! If you can get out for happy hour between 330 and 530 then can experience crazy half price wine and some of their signature appies (including fondue) at ridiculously low prices! It's a must if you're visiting Jasper .

They had some exotic sounding dishes on the menu like; Canary Island Buddha Bowl, Salade Nicoise, Coconut Kaffir Lime Seafood Pot, Buffalo Chicken Wafflewich, Falafel Naanwich and some more. They even had elk meat on the menu for that day. I decided to have a Spiced Lamb Burger with some Raven Salad, and my wife ordered a Cheese Pasta with ham and bread crumbs. We enjoyed the food and the friendly service. Prices were reasonable, maybe a bit on the high side. We would love to visit again on our next visit to Jasper.

Wow! That place is amazing! Great variety of foods with healthy options/vegan/gf. I decided not the be the usual healthy freak and instead of a salad I got the street fries. And still - that divine dish arrived. It was a blissful symphony in my mouth! So far the best meal I've had in Canada! Service is great as well! Highly recommended place. It’s an overpriced and overrated restaurant. The portions and prices weren’t consistent across the menu. The food lacked flavor and authenticity. The falafels were doughy and undercooked in the inside (No I’m not talking about the stuffed cheese. It just tasted raw). Someone sitting next to us complained that the lamb was raw and sent it back. The Lipton Peppermint teas didn’t just fit in with the menu or the prices they charge (It’s not Tim Hortons). The Moroccan Chickpea and Kale Strudel and Tomato Chili Chutney didn’t have any flavor and was quite bland. Overall it was very disappointing.

We were there yesterday after a long drive with my grandparents for the first time. The service we got was not exemplar from our waiter and neither was the meal we had. I had the soup of the day (beet soup with spices) and it was not good and we had house kennebec fries which were simply house cut french fries. When our waiter came to take away the full soup bowl I barely tasted and instead of asking why we didn't like it (like I would have done I'm my past 3 years of service customer service) he instantly said "you guys don't like beets right?" as he smirked and took it away. Our actual meals were the three pharaohs which was not very good, had little meat and had very heavy sauces, the lamb which was bland, the pork which was subpar and the Argentine steak which was the only good meal in our experience. Based on the good reviews this place has was maybe a one time bad service and we were on the unlucky side, but with the high prices and low quality of food and service we will definitely not be back (140 dollars for everything we had).

We dined on September 25; party of 4. The other 3 guests had awesome dishes. I came away very disappointed. Initially I was going to order the Seafood Pot but then saw the Elk Osco Bucco with mushroom risotto and was lured in and ordered that dish.. I was expecting a very creamy risotto with lots of mushroom flavor and what I had was sub par risotto lacking flavor. The elk seemed to be cooked too much and the texture was dry. I will give the bistro another try when I am back in Jasper.

I can not say enough about the fabulous meal we had here. The offerings are very creative and enticing. It was hard to pick so, my husband and I shared an appetizer and a couple entrees. Services was excellent and the waiter made some great wine suggestions that paired very well with the meal.

My traveling companion and I stopped for lunch and decided to go back for dinner. The menu is globally inspired with leaning towards middle Eastern seasonings merged with fresh local ingredients. For lunch my companion enjoyed her French Onion soup and we shared a morrocan melted Brie which had interesting blends of middle Eastern spices with the melted Brie. I had an Elk Porter soup. My companion hot chocolate with housemade marshmallow fluff. It was excellent. We went back for dinner to try out their cheese fondue, picking the traditional style and ordered an extra pretzel with it. It was almost as good as the Fondue I had in Geneva, Switzerland. The service for both lunch and dinner was friendly, attentive, and prompt.

Ordered Halibut Chowder, Boar Belly Flat Bread and Lamb Rack. Absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I didn’t make a reservation, so they booked us at the door for an hour later and we waited. We told them we are going to share the Lamb and they actually separated everything into two portions for us. It was soooooo good that we even forgot to take a photo before we eat! Absolutely worth the wait!

I had their "ZUSKETTI VERDE", which is a fantastic interpretation of zucchini! The entire dish worked incredibly well together, loved it. I also had the elk kebabs: the meat was great, except one or two pieces that were too tough to chew. The bread wasn't really a naan, more like a pita, but anyway it was good.

My husband and I were at The Raven for our 30th Anniversary supper last night. I ordered the elk and my husband ordered the schnitzel. The elk was $42 which in my opinion should have been an elk steak. It was a leg with a huge bone with dimensions of 2" at one end and 1" at the other. The chef said it was a 12-14 oz serving with the bone in but with such a large bone I had very little meat to eat. The risotto was very over powering with liquid smoke. I was not full when we left so I went to Beavertails to get full. My husband's schnitzel was bland and lacking in flavour. We were very disappointed with the food at this restaurant which ruined our Anniversary supper. The waitress from England was nice and gave good service and felt bad about our experience. We were given the elk at half price but I would not recommend this restaurant and will not go back.

An excellent restaurant. Mixes local meats (elk, sea food etc) with middle Eastern or Moroccan spices. A really enjoyable meal. Prompt and friendly service. We booked a table. Very glad we did as people were turned away at the door. Slightly more pricey than other restaurants in town, but the best meal we've had in Jasper so far.

Vegan review: Stopped here for dinner (lunch) after reading the reviews! I had a very yummy Raven salad with tomato and coconut soup. The soup needed salt and pepper adding to it. I also got a pecan tart too (there was also a flavoured donut on offer). I sat near the window for more natural light as it was quite dark further in. The ambience was lovely due to the chilled, relaxing music they were playing. The service was great!

Best happy hour in Jasper! Half off wines by the glass, $5 pints (bottles and fraught!) and half off scotch from 3-5:30 I believe! Such an awesome deal. Love their cab wine and the boar belly flatbread (discounted for happy hour) - were awesome. Only 2 spots on the patio and a smaller inside but service and location were great. The seafood pot was lacking flavor, definitely needed a little kick, salt, and squeeze that lime they give you! Otherwise, wonderful!

Overall, most of what we had was good. I found the calamari cut a bit thin. The risotto was very bad though. More like mashed rice than risotto, and the mushrooms tested like a gallon of liquid smoke. The rest of the dish was good though and so was everything else we had.

Great staff. people lined up to get it. Did a good job keeping the atmosphere while protecting staff and guests. Thoroughly enjoyed the MOROCCAN BAKED BRIE. My wife loved the KALAMATA SALMON. I had the LEMON SESAME SCHNITZEL, the meat was great but didn't enjoy the side dish, potato salad. I wasn't expecting mini potatoes cut in half's. I found it tasteless. We would go back but would avoid the chorizo potato salad.

On vacation in Jasper, decided to try this place for its appealing menu. Ordered the Calamari and the Curried Vegetable Strudel. Good presentation on plates. But Calamari Rings were a little over cooked and the Strudel! Well that was rice filled and Count the vegetables filling. Found a few carrots here and there, and that's about it. Disappointing Vegetable Strudel. Tasted good but lacking in vegetables. Did I mention that they do have Vegetables in the title of that dish? Ambiance is cozy and service is prompt and good. Cheers!

For our last night in Jasper we decided to try this place as they had just reopened again with their new patio! Kudos to the owners for investing in the infrastructure, I’m sure it’s very difficult to do these things under the uncertainty of COVID. The heated patio was lovely with each cube sectioned off making you feel like you had a little piece of space to yourself. Our server was really lovely and attentive, the food was some of the best we had in Jasper all week, and we overall just had a really great time. I recommend all their beers on tap and the Mediterranean mule! To eat we had the schnitzel, steak sandwich, and the calamari, all delicious.

We went there for dinner. The Ukrainian borsch soup would not make five stars. The chef needs to work on it. But the rest of the meal was delicious and it made up for the soup. We went there for dinner and we were happy with the service and the food. Our server was really good, knew the menu well. She explained all the dishes and answered any questions we had. Made good recommendations for the wine as well. We ordered rack of lamb, elk and salmon. Rack of lamb was cooked at medium rare and was delicious. Elk and salmon were also good. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Jasper and would visit again.

UNREAL spiced lamb burger and the yam fries and aioli that came with it are hands down the best I've ever had. I'm from Calgary, where some of Canada's best restaurants live and the food at the Raven Bistro can easily be served in competition with the high ballers. It almost makes you think what they're doing in small town Jasper when it has every potential to knock it out of the park in the bigger city scenes. 10/10 recommend!!!

Best restaurant I've tried yet while living in Jasper. Food is amazing and comes fast. Servers are very friendly! Dinner is pretty pricey, but it's also very fancy so it's expected. Wouldn't eat it all the time due to the cost, but it's a good treat once in awhile. Lunch is reasonably priced. Best dish I've had in Jasper is the Chicken & Waffles they have here. Their soup is super good too!

Sweet and spicy margarita was to die for, I ordered a second one - can't remember the last time I ordered another round of the same drink. It was a tough call for us to choose our mains, we ended up with Three Pharaohs for me and Coconut Seafood pot for my friend. Both were delicious and also very sizeable servings! We wanted to leave room for dessert, so we skipped the appetizers and went for the dessert special, which was some sort of mango cheesecake situation that was absolutely amazing. Waitstaff were courteous and readily available. Can't wait to come back here again! There are like at least 5 more things I want to try here.

Absolutely amazing place to eat in Jasper. The restaurant has a very upscale yet homelike feel. The booths are very comfortable and seating is arranged in a very socially friendly manner. The food menu is quite short but certainly holds its weight as everything is delicious. It provides a hearty selection of meat dishes, as well as vegan options, shareables, and a small selections of desserts. Detailed descriptions aid the customer in deciding, although many of the options will have your mouth watering before the first bite. The drink menu is filled with beautifully built cocktails, craft beers, and fine wines. While most upscale restaurants in Jasper will have you gasping at the bill, The Raven Bistro is quite fair. My entree, two cocktails, and a dessert cost under $70. Highly recommended!

We dined here almost a month ago now. Everything was very delicious, from the sweet bacon potato soup, to the delicious halibut. Everything was spot on. The bathrooms are pretty and clean. The restaurant is a bit small, so reservation for sure would be needed as we were happy we had one in advance and were seated right away upon arrival. Our server was very nice.

The service we received from Cheryl was amazing. The food was so good and they had excellent vegan options. My partner had the seafood pot and loved it while I had a vegan pasta dish that was very filling; both were delicious. We had a starter of vegan falafel balls that were light and full of flavour. The dessert we got had an option for vegan coconut cream that just blew our socks off. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back.

Service was ok. Friendly waitress but the lunch we ordered was very disappointing. Stay away from the seafood pot. It has a very strong taste to a spice that overpowers the seafood flavour. Also I felt it was ver pricy for the quality and portions. Place is nicely located and has a nice outdoor area though. Don’t think I can recommend this place based on the food we tried for the lunch menu. Maybe the dinner options are better.

I had a great experience at the Raven Bistro. In speaking with our waitress who was born and raised in town, she told me the owners are a husband and wife team. He runs the front, she has the back of the house. I had the Moroccan Strudel and I thought it was outstanding. Here is why... This was a very smart and delicious dish. The sweet potato and chickpea filling had a very nicely spiced Moroccan flavor. Somehow, the chef had placed it into a perfectly baked pillow of phylo dough. On top of it was arugula, sliced almonds and a little bit of cashew cheese. Under it was a dried tomato paste. This dish was beautifully presented and delivered amazing savory, sweet and salted flavors in the right proportions. While not a vegetarian, I was amazed at how satisfying and filling this dish was. I could barely finish it but couldn’t bare not too. Well done chef!!! As to the people that reduce their rating based on price, I thought that for the high quality and creativity of the food, the pricing was reasonable... that said I didn’t order alcohol. As to the people who reduced their rating because they didn’t have leftovers, I just don’t think The Raven Bistro is that kind of place. If you are looking for a special place in a very out of the way place to enjoy a smart and delicious selection of food, I think this is a great place to try.

OMG, if you are in Jasper you have to eat here. Service 10/10. Cocktails 10/10. Food 10/10. We had the calamari which was excellent. The niçoise salad also very good. Now, the elk osso bucco was fantastic. Finally, a restaurant that, when they say smoky, they mean smoky. And for us people that want and expect smoky this meal really delivers. And the decision to pair that meat with risotto and tomato with smoke was a good one. I must say it was one of the best restaurant meals I've had. On the covid19 front, the restaurant is well set up and following all of the rules. So, in my opinion, it is a safe place to dine. I highly recommend this restaurant......and enjoy!!

Incredible food, the few times I went there over a season there was fresh changes on the menu. The food was so creative, comfort food with Moroccan and eastern influences. Loved it. Lunch was surprisingly affordable especially in jasper and really really tasty. I recommended the mossaman curry and the chicken waffle sandwich for lunch Dinner is beautiful, and fancy without being uncomfortable. The staff is wonderful. The soze of the restaurant is perfect, just small enough to feel cozy but big enough that you don’t feel in the way.

I found out about this place through trip advisor. Menu looked very good so booked it a few weeks in advance. I'm glad I did because it seemed busy the day of. The place has good decor and ambience and it was quite enough. We ordered tofu chorizo tostado. Zaatar halloumi, la pastilla, coconut and almond crusted halibut, the sweet and spicy margarita, and chocolate pecan tart. I absolutely LOVED both entrees and also liked appetizers. The dishes had a good balance of food vs. cold, sweet vs. savory and I thoroughly enjoyed them all. If I had to pick one that I thought was just okay comparatively, it would be the halloumi. I also found the margarita to be very good. Got it with half the sweetness which was perfect (I usually prefer sweeter cocktails). What made this one unique is the gingery taste. Lastly, the chocolate pecan tart was also good - very rich which went well with raspberry sauce.

Exquisite service and food. My wife and I were there on Oct 27th, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Wish we had taken pictures, but we were very hungry :) The lamb shank was amazing, and it is a big helping. The steak was good too. Calamari is very good too. Our waitress really went beyond expectations to make our experience great. My wife's steak was a little under done. Our waitress got a new steak order put in right away, and made sure that the new steak was cooked to specification. What really made our day was that she gave us a great discount on our bill. We never had to ask for it. She just did it. Service like this makes us want to come back whenever we visit Jasper next :)

Overall great experience. Here are the details... Morrocan Baked Brie Unbalanced, to many sweet components on the dish, we enjoyed it but the chutney in combination with the grapes and the candied walnuts was just too much and overpowered any savoury or creamy elements of the cheese. This needed something like olives or capers to balance it. Not grapes. Tofu Chorizo Tostadas Criminally underseasoned. Lacked flavour. Had no elements of spice and should have been served with a hot sauce of some kind on the side. All of the ingredients seemed fresh and well prepared but it's a waste when they have no flavour. La Pastille We enjoyed this dish. It was different and unique. It didn't wow us but it was pretty enjoyable, had some interesting flavours and was a good portion size. Honey Orange Creme Bruleè We enjoyed this dish but my wife thought that the orange flavour was a little artificial like a syrup. Our cocktails were great minus the old Fashioned. Far too heavy on the bitters. An overall great experience especially for vegetarian options. Good ambience and great service. Would definitely comeback and suggest you give it a try.

Food: 5 out of 5. Its good. Menu is from around the world. Seafood Pot was excellent. A good sized portion. Thai style Tom yum stew base, so a little spicy. Seafood inside was fresh and generous. Elk kebabs were decent. Served almost rare, I guess to make it softer to chew. Served with delicious flat bread and rice sides and some grilled veg. Pricing: 2 out of 5. Seafood pot was $32, elk kebab was $34. A full steak was like $44. These prices might be even higher than the Fairmont Hotel, and not acceptable for a bistro type environment. Environment : 1 out of 5. If you are unlucky to get the table with the air con vent right at your feet. So you freeze to death slowly, upwards. Unacceptable that they even have a table there. No warning, and when we asked to move, no apologies either from the staff. After we vacated the table, the next two couples who were assigned it did the same thing. I can't believe the management think it is acceptable to freeze diners feet during a meal. So while the food is good, the pricing and our experience with the horrendous table was not. So 3 stars in total.

I've never been to this place before though the people I went with have, they said it was fantastic and their words did not lie!! The food itself was immaculate! I had a steak sandwich with cream of asparagus soup, steak was cooked to perfection, and the Dijon mustard on top with the boar (? I believe) bacon was so good! The soup was nice and creamy as well, not over salted and just the perfect amount. And for desert the mandarin Crème Brûlée was exceptional. I even had a blackberry orange mojito which was also impeccable! I couldn't be happier with the food and drink; our server was such a gem as well! He truly has a passion for what he does and its translated in the interaction we had with him! I highly recommend this place if you're in and around Jasper. Great food, drink and wonderful service!

Both my wife and I ordered the Wiener Schnitzel, which was described as "pork cutlet breaded & deep fried, garnished with crispy parsley, accompanied with lingonberry sauce & European style potato salad". The Schnitzel was overcooked and tough, almost cardboard like in texture, with little flavour. The soggy potato salad was over dressed with sour pickle juice. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this dish.

The Bison and Boar Flatbread was very good, as was the blackberry/grapefruit mohito. But the couscous in the Three Pharaohs entree was much too spicy to eat (and I can handle pretty spicy). The waitress brought some yoghurt, which helped. Ask if they've corrected this before ordering it. The meats were delicious, so this was unfortunate.

Update, stopped again a year later after doing a Jasper crawl and the raven has the best cocktails in Jasper we have found. The reason for the average rating is that one of our main courses, the elk osso bucco (highest ticket item on the menu), did not turn out at all. Dry, tough, no sauce. However the feedback was efficiently received by our server, and an acknowledgement was reflected on the bill. The service alone would have received 5 stars. The food however, a fusion of mediterranean spices like tahini and harissa and game should maybe be thought over again. Also game meats (farmed or wild) are much leaner than conventional meats like beef, pork or chicken. They need a good sear and a low and slow kind of approach. We also expected a dish like a osso bucco to come with a rich sauce. The other main, mixed plate of chicken-lamb-beef was good, the smokey mushroom risotto that came with the osso bucco was delicious.

I cannot recommend the Raven Bistro enough! We were in Jasper for a short two night stay, and went for a late lunch on our first day there. The falafel bowl was outstanding, and a large enough portion to satisfy my hungry stomach! My boyfriend had the chicken wafflewich, which he said was amazing. He had the yam fries with it, and the curry dip that came with it was SO GOOD! We went back for takeout on our way back home, and had the late riser skillet and Mediterranean fries- both phenomenal and very good sized portions! Two meals here in less than 48 hours definitely says it all!

This place closes at 10 and we came up to the door at 9:15. People were just sitting down, but wouldn’t let us in. We were dressed nicely. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years and have never seen this. You seat people until you close. That’s the rule. It wasn’t even after Canadian Thanksgiving yet. They told us to go to a chain restaurant, and gave me attitude when I said I am a food blogger and don’t like to eat at chains. When I return to Jasper, I won’t likely be returning. Why waste my money and time on a place that gives poor customer service? My money, time, blog writing and taste buds can be better suited and spent elsewhere.

Best cucumber gin and tonic with a botanical gin i have ever had. Beer good. Wine selection is appropriate but not extensive. Well balanced menu catering to all dietary choices. My wife ordered a seafood dish that we both thought was a little bland. Service was excellent. Bathrooms were clean. I was on my last day of a long trip, so my budget was a little tight. I was standing outside reading the menu posted on the wall, deciding whether or not to eat there. Everything on the menu looked so good and I couldn't decide. The waiter and I exchanged a bit of small talk, and he told me that all of the food was really good, and I could tell that he meant it. The interior was clean and cozy, and I was seated quickly, and given a glass of water with a cranberry in it. So cuter! I ordered the lunch special, The Raven salad, which might have been the best thing I ate on my entire 3 week long trip across Canada in the Pacific Northwest. It was reasonably priced, generously portioned, and served quickly. I hope I get to make it back up to Jasper one day, and if I do, I am definitely going to have a few meals at the Raven!

The Raven Bistro made delicious appetizers. We had the boar belly flatbread and the feta stuffed Falafel. The mains, however, were slightly disappointing. We had the salmon & prawn pea risotto and it was all over cooked. The risotto was gummy. The short rib was better but the halibut had the same over done-ness as the salmon and prawns. Overall the meal was good but I might opt for different mains if I go back.

We ate here for lunch and dinner on the same day. It’s probably one of the better restaurants in Jasper in my opinion. The prices are good, the service is good. Would recommend the salmon for both lunch and dinner menu and the buddha bowl if you want something a little more health. It has the right amount of crunch and savoury. The three pharaohs with the steak was also quite delicious. The breakfast skillet was good, loved the savoury waffle but it was more on the oily side.

Would give them 0 stars if I could. We had called ahead and made a reservation for 9 at 9PM and had arrived at 8:40- 20 minutes earlier. The hostess had advised us that we would be seated between 9 and 9:05 since the table before us hadn't left. Then at 9:10, we went back and inquired, and they said that the table before still hadn't left. At 9:20, we were fed up and we left. Driving from far distances, being completely exhausted and looking for a place to eat, the Raven Bistro did NOT meet the expectation of my family or I. In Jasper, most food places close betwween 9 and 10, 9:30 being last call. We were almost left without food for the night. Please be advised- if you make a reservation here well in advance, its very likely that you still may not be able to eat here. Edit: After seeing the response below from Raven Bistro, I can say for sure that I will not be coming back. If a reservation is made, then it should be ready at that time, as is standard in many restaurants around Canada. Sadly, it appears that the Raven Bistro is not quite there yet. In addition, being 20 minutes early is fine, especially since we understood that we were early and were willing to wait. But the Raven Bistro being 20 minutes late is not an acceptable practice. Nonetheless, my family and I will never visit the Raven Bistro again.

We went here for lunch - was well beyond high expectations. We had spicy halloumi and calamari as starters. Absolutely delicious. The calamari had a wonderful sauce with a slightly curry to it - wonderful flavour. Daily soup was a refreshing and super tasty coconut tomato soup - chicken shawarma wrap and chicken and waffles was very tasty. Great service here as well!

Good atmosphere but disappointing food. Maybe ordered the wrong things? But why would they have bad dishes on their menu in the first place? Ordered the lamb skewers. Meat was so blend and dry. It was hard to chew it. There was no seasoning on it. If you panfry chicken breast with no oil, no salt and over cook it so that it loses all it's meat juice, that's what this dish tasted like. Heard great things about this place so there must be other dishes that taste good.

The food here was okay. Not great. We had the brown sugar salmon and the schnitzel. The schnitzel was the better of the two dishes. The salmon came with a risotto which was mediocre at best. Okay - risotto is hard to make well. But the salmon, I found to be overcooked and dry. The first thing the host was telling everyone was that they want you to be done in 90 minutes. I get it. They're trying to herd as many people through as they can on a Saturday night. But it was still off-putting. If you go here and it's cold out, I recommend insisting on a seat away from the window. It was very cold sitting there. We were in the booth closest to the door which didn't help, I'm sure, but it really made it difficult to enjoy the experience. In the end, we didn't need anywhere near the 90 minute allotment as the food didn't warrant ordering dessert and the ambiance didn't warrant lingering.

We started the meal with the Moroccan Baked Brie. Simply marvelous! the brie was nicely melted and the chutney was spectacular. Followed up with the Braised Bison Short ribs. Again, a wonderful pairing. With the Cherry and Bourbon demi-glaze Truly magnificent. Finished the meal with their newest creation, the Mon Cheri. Fabulous! A delightful sponge cake with stewed pears apples and cranberries. We had not even though about stopping here until it came highly recommended from the staff at the Skytram. Well done!

We started with the fried Halloumi appetizer (which was in and of itself quite a bit of food). I had the La Pastilla as a main, while my husband had the Old Fashioned Bison Short Ribs. Wasn't very impressed with the quality of the food. I had a steak ordered medium rare, came blue rare in the centre and rare on the ends. The prawns were cold and for twice friend french fries they were pretty soggy. The girlfriend ordered the halibut, it was cooked nicely, but the coconut rice that came with it had a burnt taste so it wasn't very appetizing. It was very expensive for the quality of food.

Dinner here was the highlight of our day. We ordered the steak and shrimp with argentine sauce. It's a bit on the pricey side but atleast the food is worth it. One of the best steaks we ever had. My wife ordered the seafood pot, which she loved as well. And we loved the service as well. Sheryl was very warm and took good care of us. Definitely coming here again.

Our favorite place to eat in Jasper. The food is delicious and very well prepared. Mostly plant based, vegan which is exactly what we were looking for. We had the halloumi followed by the Raven salad which was so good. Cozy atmosphere with selection of booths and comfortable tables. Service is excellent - we were made very welcome. Highly recommended.

Tried this my last full day in Jasper, and wish I had found it sooner! Busy when I arrived so got a seat at the bar. Not always my favorite, but Mike did a great job making sure everyone was well attended to, and really serving each of the parties at the bar. Likely the best place in the restaurant since able to talk with others and get to see all the items on the menu - yum! Only downside? Not open later! If questioning - just go!! Really nice mix of Canadian foods with a Mediterranean fusion giving it a unique twist.

Compared to restaurants in the area, this is definitely one of the best. Compared to restaurants of the type in general, this place could use some more effort. I will talk about what I ordered, The Three Pharaohs: - The plate in total was enjoyable - The beef tenderloin was a bit chewy for me with some tendons. - Being Tunisian in blood, I immediately ordered this when I read "Harissa", unfortunately it was very different from the actual harissa but I really salute the attempt and the featuring of such ingredient. - The lamb needed some extra flavor with mediterranean spices, a hint of cumin maybe? and some more seasoning. - The chicken was pretty good - The orzo was a bit cold and underseasoned, but delicious. - The pita was very tasty! Keep it up!

Easily one of the top places in Jasper. Large portions, great menu with unique items, at least 25% can be made vegan if required. Nice wine, craft beer and cocktail lists! Had dinner last night and went back for lunch today to try a few more items.

A friend and I went on a day trip to Jasper and decided to give this restaurant a call to see if they were open so we can stop by for a bite. The lady that answered the call was super nice and respectful. We got there and the place was super clean and welcoming. I ordered the Seafood Pot... and it was DELICIOUS. The waitress, Rachel, was so helpful with menu options and even gave us hiking recommendations for our next trip! Great job Raven Bistro, totally will be going there whenever I'm in Jasper.

We came just after the restaurants were able to open up at 50%. Recommended by a local we know very well. So pleased that we came with our family to support a local business. We love to support local. The brie was a great starter. Then had steak (amazing & perfectly cooked), seafood bowl, triple meat with lamb, chicken & beef, each with their own topping. All great and the waitress was so good and made us feel so welcome. We will be back!

Awesome place. Super chic and presents a great all-around modern feel. Great service, great food. We had the lamb burger and yam fries with their signature dip, as well as the steak sandwich and housecut fries. Lamb is hard to get right but this was fantastic. Also, had a great mojito.

Quality atmosphere, comfortable cause they only got booths (( total win )). Brayden was a really chill server, and the kitchen was quick and welcoming. The bathrooms are cool af, and the style is an upper middle class look. Food was solid, for the price I can't complain at all. Rosemary on the fries so that's cool. All in all I'd go again, the menu has some items worth trying

It was our first visit to Jasper since we were both quite young, and based on reviews I booked The Raven for happy hour soon after we arrived ... and I was not disappointed! The fondue was incredible and the half priced wine hit the spot. Our server, Rachel, was friendly, funny, and gave great recommendations. 10 out of 10 will be back the next time we are in town. The food here is above average at best. The portions are quite small. It seems like a lot of the dishes have an Indian vibe to them, so if you're a fan of Indian food, you'll enjoy the twist this place provides. Considering the portion sizes, this place is far too pricey.

I tried the Buffalo chicken waffle sandwich(wafflewich)....wow it was absolutely delicious!! It was a perfect combo of spicy and crisped to perfection buffalo chicken, drizzled in a blue cheese aioli sauce to die for, topped with carrot slaw sandwiched between savory waffles grilled with green onions. YUM My husband was also very happy with the service and his meal, he had the lamb burger. The service was excellent, I loved the vibe here.

Since 2014 this wonderful space has been our go to for anniversaries, birthdays, celebrations, and everything in between. Last week we had yet another great evening at the raven, and they even worked with my sister in law to surprise us with a bottle of wine during dinner. Enjoyed the shakshouka for brunch, it's kind of a Mediterranean take on huevos rancheros, and is a delicious hearty start for a day of Jasper activities. Came back later to enjoy cocktails at the bar; bartender was happy to get creative off-menu (try asking for the "Peach Old Fashioned").

The food taste great, although it is slightly on the pricey side - typical main entree goes for about $30. The room is kind of small, so if there is a loud group, you will surely feel the noise. Wait staff is friendly and warm. The beer list is good and fairly priced.

Delicious cocktail, the Bocephus, and a great bartender. Despite not making an early reservation, they accommodated us at the bar. We ordered the cheddar beer fondue and it did not disappoint. From the items listed for that dish, it did not seem like it would be enough but it definitely was and it was so good! The mushrooms tasted smoked and the ham was deep-fried. Yep, you read that right. Order it.

Our second time back at the bistro. They make a great Lamb Burger, spicy and on a brioche bun; a must-try. Or their Lamb-and-Potato Soup, served with sliced baguette and garlic butter (upon request). Washed down with a Mojito or draft beer. Their Orange Creme Brûlée is different and recommended. Service by Miranda was pleasant and our order was not too long. A good place to dine at, if in the area.

In 2015 i went to eat a meal here as i had the year previous but unfortunately it took a terrible turn. I am anaphylaxtic to nuts , wheat, & dairy and told my server that i was She brought my salad with almonds on it I asked her to take it back and make a fresh one as this salad would kill me Hinds sight i should have walked out She picked the almonds off the salad and brought it back How do i know this .. My throat started to close so i immediately left the restaurant to go to the hospital Lack of air makes one dizzy and she wouldn't even hold the door My epi pen back fired in the car..not my best day By the time i was at the hospital a few blocks away i was dying & knew it The doctor gave me the dead mans dose of epinephrine in my arm which triggered a heart attack They don't know how i survived but i did and live with a heart issue now I will never eat out again as its not worth the risk So if you have any food allergy I cannot stress enough DO NOT EAT HERE

So delicious! I just needed some hot vegan food and this was perfect. I had the MOROCCAN CHICKPEA AND KALE STRUDEL. It was truly so flavourful and delicious! I like that they had several vegan options clearly separated on their menu. I only got takeout but the restaurant itself was very cute and the servers were all friendly. Food was ready quickly and had all the ingredients mentioned in the menu's description. There were cute plants at the door that I checked out while I waited for my food ????

Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, even with an energetic two year old. Most of the group I was with really enjoyed their plates but I found it to be a bit bland (I got the catch of the day). I enjoyed the atmosphere and restaurant as a whole, however, the food want as good as I expected.
