Always enjoyed my food here - great flavors and took in my feedback when I visited ????
Terrible cocktails - Can't comment on the food as we popped in for a drink, got two overpriced cocktails that tasted terrible. Not worth stopping in for just a drink in our opinion.
We were very satisfied with our meal and service here. Don't let the exterior mislead you, this place offers up some very unique and fine flavours.
Too expensive for the quality of the food.
I dined here recently for the 1st time. This place has a relaxing atmosphere to it. The food was delicious & reasonably well priced. Service was great. Would be happy to dine here again in the future.
Very good food and there's always some specials. Service is courteous. Great wine selection. Someivr music every now and then. Would like more Greek options since it's a Greek restaurant.
I'm of Greek heritage. I've been to what seems like hundreds of places looking for the perfect saganaki. The one I tried here is by far my favorite to date. The Saganakis from here is by far out of this world. It's perfect. The staff was amazing and friendly. Thank you for your service during these covid times.
Great place for dinner or for desert! We had a great visit with the staff and enjoyed the Lounge area.
We had a great meal here our waitress was great and attentive, knew the menu and we had a lovely conversation. We were here for happy hour and the happy hour menu was great as well. We ordered a cranberry Moscow Mule and some local beers, the saganaki, poutine and split the Farm Burger. The food was really good and the drinks also great. I'd recommend the happy hour menu and drinks or having a nice relaxing lunch or dinner here. We really enjoyed it.
Great drinks, chill atmosphere and friendly staff. Our server Kirsten was exceptionally personable, and she gave us a couple great hike recommendations. Thanks Kirsten!
Incredible food.
Had an enjoyable hamburger here. It took a while before a server came to take my order, but once they took my order everything went smoothly, the food was good, and the service was friendly and efficient.
One of my top 2 restaurants to dine at in Jasper. The vegan dragon plate never disappoints and never gets dull. The chef changes things up with seasonal offerings, but the flavours are always amazing. The sweet potato croquette with sweet curry sauce is the foundation of this amazing dish. My mouth waters just thinking about it. The best part is non-vegans alike will enjoy this as well - I dare you to try it! HIGHLY recommend anything on their menu. They offer seasonal chef's selection based on what is in season from the farmer's market. When this is offered - you MUST try it out on their lovely patio.
Such a lovely, romantic upscale bistro! My husband and I each ordered a special of the day and we were both delighted with our dinners! Everything was prepared perfectly and served beautifully! We highly recommend The Olive Bistro!
Great and very attentive service. The food was pretty good as well. My burger tasted fine, even though the quality of the meat could definitely have been better, it felt like it was bought of the shelf. The french fries on the other hand were absolutely superb! The only minus is regarding the ambiente: the whole place smelled a bit like cheese, which especially as a person that does not like cheese isn’t helpful with the appetite. Overall a good experience and the prices were ok, too.
Vert good food and service
We really enjoyed this location kalm and relax atmosphere great food
Great food and atmosphere. Portions were a little small.
We stopped by for an after dinner drink, because of the beautiful outdoor patio. After seeing the menu, however, we couldn't resist trying the scallops. They were absolutely incredible. We plan to come back tomorrow for dinner to try more! Great vegetarian and meat options!
Fantastic food and great service! We started with the the coconut prawns served with a tangy sauce, (yum) after which my husband enjoyed the organic lamb and I the tasty chicken and brieBoth paired well with the lovely full bodied wine. Our server was attentive, but not hovering, and provided good information on all the dishes and the specials of the day. Nice, quiet ambience. Highly recommend
I really enjoy the atmosphere created. There is a good selection of items on the menu for both vegetarians and carnivores. The dishes are crafted with well rounded flavours and fresh ingredients. A great place to dine!
Portion sizes are very small and definitely not worth the price. My $24 meal consisted of half a cup of overcooked rice and a quarter cup of nasty canned curry. My mum’s quesadilla had a mere 5 inch diameter and cost $15. It was on the “to share” section of the menu. The server was nice. I sort of felt bad for him, I could tell he was embarrassed to place the toddler-sized dishes in front of us. Our 2 entrés and one “sharing” item (the 5 inch quesadilla) cost almost $80! Overall, ‘Olive Bistro and Lounge’ is a complete and utter, overpriced disappointment. Unless you are a well-moneyed anorexic, skip this place on your next visit to Jasper.
Really delicious food (burger), in addition to a perfect homemade raspberry lemonade, which I can highly recommend. For a night out in Jasper definitely a great choice and relatively cheap, for a place in Jasper! Almost would subtract a star since they forgot to bring us napkins and salt/pepper, but the staff was super friendly and even gave advice with regards to places in Jasper.
The food and service were good. The bison gnocchi was a bit salty even for a salt lover like me. The truffle mushroom taigletelle was wonderful.
Excellent banana split. Deep fried banana with ice cream raspberry and caramel.whipping cream too. 12 bucks.
Excellent food for a good price. Staff was very friendly and passionate about their dishes
Dinner was awesome and beautifully presented! Thank you to the culinary team! Never caught the servers name as I arrived arrived a wee bit later than my party. However, service was excellent, drinks never ran dry and attentive. Can’t wait until the next time!
Food was good, but the service was poor. On a quiet evening we were ignored, drinks left empty with no offer of a refill, main course delivered without clearing the starters first, and so on. Hopefully you will have a more helpful server!
Food was very good but the portions were very small for the price….,especially the vegan rice bowl. $24 before tax and tip…..for maybe a cup of rice, a chickpea fritter and a scattering of veggies.
Exceptional place! The friendly atmosphere is bettered only by the quality of the food. Portions are the correct size and will satisfy. The ingredients are focused heavily on local and the owners told me they work very hard to support growers in Alberta, and therefore use what is fresh and available. It must be incredibly difficult to keep this local focus and in my experience, it is a rarity, and more than enough reason for us to return. Keep up the great work!
Super fresh food, lots of menu choices. Something for everyone, including great vegan and vegetarian platters. One family member immensely enjoyed the Greek salad and ordered it on several occasions. The service was excellent and the place was Cody with a nice view of the mountains.
Spent 4 days backpacking the boonies of Mount Robson to come in to the Olive Bistro and be greeted by our amazing server Jesse. He was friendly, conversational, made us laugh, and recommended a great wine! Oh, and the food was delicious too!! A great way to end our time in Jasper and would highly recommend!!
Food and service was amazing
Good food with good service
Not enough food and too expensiv!
This bistro is very clean and well maintained, the prices aren’t very extreme compared to other places in the area and the food is very good. All in all a very classy place to eat that has friendly staff.
Beautiful place, exquisite food, great service! Definitely coming back on our next Jasper trip!
Had the salmon with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Excellent and late around 10 pm still open
Great food and service. Our server Sylvia was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and professional. The HVAC came on and started blowing cold air, and she immediately noticed and rectified it. Food was excellent. The Kefalotiri saganaki was delicious. My partner had the truffle mushroom tagliatelle; it was rich, but not overly so. I had the Dragon Plate; it was a great blend of spicy and hearty. I'm not normally a big fan of quinoa, but this was quite flavourful. Finding a flavourful, creative vegan dish is always a delight. The haskap cheesecake was amazing. The brown-butter lemon shortcake crust was so flavourful, and the cheese itself was light and just the right sweetness.
I ordered steak et frites. The smallest, most burnt piece of meat I've ever seen. And I asked for medium. The wine was good. But for the price, it was awful. I'd go to one of the less pretentious places around the corner next time.
The food was good but not worth $80+ for 2 people.
Fabulous meal, and they didn't mind giving us two half portions. (Canadian portions defeat my appetite)
Nice ambiance, great service. Greek salad and elk rigatoni were delicious. Dishes were small and a little overpriced ($19 for 4 small scallops).
Better then expected. Friendly server, nice Ambiente and well sorted Menue of Drinks and food. Drinks were fine and the meal was okay.
Food is very reasonable, service was exceptional
Luuk was a phenomenal server! The chicken brie was amazing!
Martinis are fantastic! Had the bison burger with beautifully flavoured sauce and bacon, and steal head trout just perfect crispy on the outside!
Luke was an amazing informative waiter, position vibes and amazing atmosphere thanks for the great service and incredible food, can't wait to come back with the whole family great job
Nice heated terrace and great view. Good selection of warm sandwiches and burgers. Tasty but nothing to call home to mom about. Good service. Would go back.
Very good food
Good menu. Good burger. Friendly staff. Great environment.
We arrived right for happy hour time 4 to 6pm and drinks were at only $5, staff very friendly and the food Yummy Yummy, I took the stake 8oz and I have no regrets! Good place to stop in Jasper !!!
Painfully, absurdly slow service on a Tuesday night. Waiter avoided us for half an hour before admitting Someone Forgot our Order....
Decent food, smaller "French style" portions, overpriced for what it offers. The kind of restaurant that will have a number of ingredients pre-made and will use them in different dishes (their fritters are part of 3 different dishes, roasted broccoli seen on every plate).
A mediocre experience, menu selection was limited. Scallops were slightly underdone, bison burger was slightly overdone. Asked for no tomato but the burger arrived with tomatoes on it. Staff were friendly and polite with corrections.
Very friendly staff but the food is so so !!!!
I love the olive. Their bar makes an excellent cocktail, their small plates are excellent, and their patio large enough to accomodate groups. One of my favourite stops in Jasper.
Beautiful food. If you're looking where to eat tonight, just stop looking and eat the Braised Lamb. Trust me.
Chunky's Soup & a cold, wet, sad, late burger The positives: - Drinks were good. I had the G&T which was excellent. My party had the Blue Lagoon, and a strawberry mojito. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. - Patio was cute, very welcoming. Nice lights and good heating as we were sitting outside at night time. - Decent service, sincere waiter. Offered alternatives when we weren't happy with our meal. The negatives: - The kitchen only prepared one of our burgers, so I had to wait for them to make mine after the other meals arrived. - Presentation was not appealing, especially after the long wait. I had a feature burger (picture attached), and my party had the bison gnocchi which resembled a Campbell's Chunky soup you'd find at the supermarket... - The burger was fine. The bison gnocchi was extremely dry and chewy, arrived cold, and tasted awful. Only redeeming quality was the cheese curds on top. - We arrived at 8:15 and left at 9:40, of which 90% was spent waiting. - Price is extremely unreasonable. The gnocchi was $32. Luckily the server took it off our bill, yet we still ended up paying $86 for two burgers and three drinks. Overall it was a bad meal. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Excellent place with an excellent menu! And a big thank you to them for 1) having vegan options on the menu that taste delicious and 2) a special thank you to the chef for making the best vegan bruschetta we’ve ever had on a special request. Highly recommend the place. Excellent drinks menu as well
Definitely a more cultured menu. Really good steak sandwich and good mojitos!
Very good
Great customer service, fabulous food
Food was exceptional. Every bite was filled with flavour. Service was excellent.
The food was okay. My duck was quite overcooked (I asked for med-rare and got well-done), and my boyfriend's burger was extremely dry and he sent it back. I really enjoyed the scallops we ordered as an appetizer, and the poutine my boyfriend had was delicious. The server did a good job bringing food, although it took him quite a lot of time to bring a few smaller things (like information on menu items or lemon for waters). The main problem was that the server failed to indicate that there was an auto-tip, and in the rush of our large party of 20 all paying in pairs at the same time, at least half of us double-tipped (I didn't get a chance to ask the other half). I tried to leave a comment directly to the restaurant, but their online commenting function doesn't work, and I'm not willing to call to argue with someone on the phone about whether or not their policy of requiring auto-tips on large parties is flawed.
Quality & quantity of the food was not commensurate with the price.
Really great place; would recommend the seafood pasta and the refreshing greek salad! Our server Jesse was lovely. Would definitely come back again.
Poor Jessy, he's the only waiter who did all the jobs with bringing you water, taking orders, serving food and getting your bills. We've waited half an hour for him to take orders, and another 45-50 min to bring our food, which was just burgers and salads. The wait was really distressing especially after a long day adventuring the National Park. We would not go again or recommend people to go although the food was actually not bad.
Great service for a 9 person party. Awesome food.
I had the Vegan Dragon Plate and is was fantastic and flavor was amazing. Service was top notch, highly recommend.
Friendly staff and delicious food! You should definitely try one of the sharing plates.
Duck salad was amazing!!!
Ok so its actually been a few years since Ive been here But I remember with startling clarity how much I enjoyed myself, and HOW GOOD THE BRUSCHETTA WAS SO long as nothing has changed in the last little while I heartily endorse the place.
Burger and Chicken Tenders (appetizer) was amazing! Really juicy burger. We went to Olive Bistro and Earl's while in Jasper. Earl's was the driest burger I could have had, while Olive Bistro was nice and had a great taste. Only bad side, don't get the bread as an appetizer. It was hard and stale.
Really enjoyed the burger and fries. The chicken tenders appetizer was amazing as well! Went back twice on our trip!
Food was excellent, as was the service. They were very patient with our children who were being loud. The cranberry moscow mule was also excellent.
Very nice restaurant and fine cuisine.
I was recommended by a friend to order the lamb shank but when I received it the cut was tasteless and fatty - I forced myself to eat part of it. I addressed this to the server (who unfortunately was working alone) and I was given the explanation the "lamb was changed". Part of the meal was taken off but if this explanation is true, I shouldn't have served this food since I left hungry.
Came here on a whim during happy hour. The cranberry Moscow mule was delicious and well presented. We also got the veggie burger and butternut pasta and they were amazing! We were served by Capri and she was lovely too. Well worth a visit if you're in the area!
I loved the food. It was a little pricey but the lamb shank was delicious, as was the steelhead trout my wife ordered.
We had the bison burger and a vegan curry bowl and both was very tasty. :)
Good food good service
Fabulous food with lots of home made dips etc and great service.
Overpriced. Skimpy portions of average tastiness. Nice service, though.
Took 45+ mins for the food to arrive, and portion sizes were really tiny for the price, and some dishes ( sole fillet, lasagna) were flavorless. The fried chicken burger also was not fried. Really would not recommend.
Great burger and great fish and chips! Craft beers on tap. Seated us immediately and food was quick. Highly recommended!
Food was good.
Top service and very delicious meals! The atmosphere was very pleasant.
Chef Huculak is a wonderful and creative host. Check out Olive during the Dark Sky Festival to enjoy an engaging presentation on molecular gastronomy.
Lovely experience here!
Three stars because the service is excellent. Prices are extremely high but considering the restaurant is in Jasper that seems to be expected. What is not accepted though is paying 16 dollars for a burger and fries and being served a premade frozen processed burger pattie and frozen shoestring french fries. Not that they tasted bad, they didnt, but if you can buy a box of burger patties for 10 dollars at superstore it seems very ridiculous to be charging 16 dollars for it. The service here is really really good and the atmosphere is fine. Just leaving a restaurant feeling you have been taken advantage of by a greedy owner who skimps on ingredients is not a good thing. Not a good thing at all. For sure will never go back.
Visited this restaurant because of the reviews below. Was a bit disappointed. Burger was burned and had weird chunks in it (bone?). The fries had black speckles on them (fat needed replacement). The beer was the worst I had in Jasper (could be personal). Overall not very recommendable...
Sub par food, average service, average restaurant. I wouldn’t go back again. No sense paying for food that I could easily make at home.
We really enjoyed our visit.. Great food
I'm not a fan of writing negative reviews, but I was sorely disappointed with my experience recently here. My wife and I were seated quickly which was great, but for over 20 minutes our server hasn't introduced themself, no water is provided and our presence wasn't even acknowledged. The wait staff seemed to be more interested in cashing everyone out. Very strange environment. We just got up and left as I could only imagine what the wait for our food would have been...
Olive Bistro is one of our favourite restaurants in town. Chef Darryl is always coming up with innovative and delicious dishes making my only complaint how hard it is to decide what to order!! He's mastered some of his classic favourites like the Lamb Shank, and I'm always impressed by his vegan dishes (I'm not even a vegan I just find them so creative and tasty!!). The atmosphere of the restaurant is so warm and inviting, perfect for an evening out. Steph & Darryl make a great team, I look forward to dining there again.
Always really good. We stop here every time we are through Jasper. Love it.
Very friendly staff and casual setting. The cocktails are amazing and so if the food. Highly recommend both the wild game lasagna and squash ravioli both were fantastic.
Delicious food, but small portions (and thus, expensive for what you get) ! I had appetizer+main course+dessert and was still hungry, went eating somewhere else after. (Had the ravioli plate which had about 8 raviolis, would of eaten twice as much)
Small dishes
Best burgers in Jasper
We had the special... All 4 of us and it was terrible!! Not one of us enjoyed our meals. The steak was filled with fat and totally disappointing!! The bill was also very expensive considering we all left food and indicated the food wasn't good. Would not recommend!
It was amazing. The food was so good and the service was great. I would recommend this place to everyone.
The price is quite high for the quality of food. But it is decent and tastes. Be aware of the cheese platter as dessert, this dish is a fraude. You get like 20 pieces of toast, and only 6 tiny tiny pieces of cheese (3 different). It is the most expensive desert.
Food was OK but not that great that justify high price for the entries. Service was great.
Excellent meal, terrific service.
Great cocktails unfortunately left on the paa too long. Very overpriced appys and great service.
Get all the truffle here! Good wine. Great food. Great for small group or intimate
Awesome restaurant, amazing host and great food. They accommodated us (23 people group) on a last minute reservation request and served us one of the best dinner experience in Jasper. A must visit, highly recommended! Thank you team Olive Bistro.
Wonderful experience dining here. I had the chickpea fritter donair, and my husband had the bison burger. Both were excellent. We also had the sangria and the focaccia bread, highly recommended!
Nice service with Britney and super yummy food????
nice food nice service
Very intimate setting with great views. Server was attentive without being overbearing. Cheese was delicious with the honeyed leeks being particularly delicious. Elk Ragi needed slightly more sauce but the meat was perfectly tender. Will certainly visit again.
DELICIOUS dinner. I ordered the elk burger which was incredible, my friend ordered the lamb which was literally falling off the bone, it was so perfectly tender. The waitress was super friendly and GENUINE (as opposed to fake friendly for the sake of wanting a good tip). Bonus: we had a coupon that gave us 20% off. Best meal in Jasper BY FAR.
The staff was Amazing. the food was unbelievable and the whole experience was great.
Delicious food. Had a saganaki and chicken kapama, finished with a banana split. They had live music, bonus.
We booked dinner for 3 based on the excellent reviews and menu. Very, very disappointed! Our starter salads were tiny, basic and expensive for what we received. We ordered the Mushroom Tagliatelle as the online picture looked so good...it was bland, not hot and again a very small portion. Overall underwhelming. Our server was fantastic, we did let know that we were disappointed and she was able to offer us a berry cheesecake on the house, it was definitely the best thing we had for dinner.
Just head and shoulders above the other restaurants I ate at in Jasper.
The food was delicious
Lovely atmosphere, really good service and great food.
I have an extremely restrictive diet and the staff went out of their way to ensure I was able to have a good meal. Not only was it one of the best meals I've had at a restaurant since doing my diet but it was by far the best customer service. Super happy with my experience here, thank you guys
Cozy restaurant, waitress service minded. Good quality food.
This place had a great looking menu and is a very cute looking place. I felt bad for our server as she seemed to have way more tables than she could handle and seemed to get no help from anywhere else. Even running her own food, although tables were sat for a while without being greeted or a drink taken. She was very pleasant and did a great job for the stressful night. Seemed like lack of management support. The food was rather expensive for what you got, and was okay. Nothing terrible but nothing amazing either. We sat for about 30 minutes till our drinks and 45 till our appies arrived. Being patient our night was still fine, but nothing overly exciting. And not feeling like we must visit again next time we are in town.
Amazing food but bring a sleeping bag and tent you’ll be waiting hours for your food.
Delicious food and A nice atmosphere.
Not a huge portion- but huge on flavour, excellent server nice and efficient
Our server was really helpful and I enjoyed the food. Drinks weren't too great but otherwise a good experience overall and would recommend!
Yummy ! Love the food and place :)
Got to chat with the Chef whilst choosing our drinks. Courtiesous and respectable. Top notch food and ambiance.
We had seafood pasta and elk pasta, both were very delicious.. and the house cranberry soda drink was very nice!
Went to the Olive Bistro & Lounge for dinner. When we arrived, we were attended to and stead immediately. We ordered the Bison Burger, which we upgraded the fries to the poutine truffle. Really recommend the upgrade, and if you know where there are whiff of truffle aroma. We only ordered Bison because we wanted to taste bison. Overall the burger was done well and it wasn’t dry. Love the onions in it. So it’s a good try. The poutine truffle was fantastic and it had an adequate amount of truffle oil in it. We also ordered a large house salad, filled with rockets, tomatoes and some cranberries. Can’t seem to remember the name of our server, but he was young man who is very chirpy and very attentive. Great Job!
Great food, great service
Excellent Greek food and great service!
Delicious food on an unpretentious place. Clean, great portions, great time, good service. Will definitely be back
We had a delicious dessert of Churros. I'd go back to try more of the menu
Quite expensive for very pretentious yet low quality food. First off, the restaurant was vast, yet completely empty which should have been a red flag for us. We ordered the “coconut prawns” paired with a “spicy mango sauce” which tasted nothing spicy and everything like jam. We then ordered “the classic” burger which was described as “Alberta prime rib beef” but I’m pretty sure it came frozen from the shelf of the local grocery store. We also order the “baked rotolo” which was just a soggy mess of overcooked “hand rolled” egg noodles and a repulsive and disproportionate amount of extremely low quality cheese. I must say, however, our sever was quite lovely. I think her name was Brittany... I definitely recommend this restaurant if you have 4 hrs to spare between your appetizers and your entrees.
I came here a couple of weeks ago. My sister had a vegan dish she loved. I got a burger and when I received it, it was cold. I asked our server if she could warm it up. When she brought it back it was still cold. The burger had the potential to be good if it was actually hot and you didn't have to worry if it was cold because it wasn't fully cooked. The staff was great too bad the food didn't match.
Lovely place, nice chill atmosphere! Fantastic food! Friendly staff with excellent service! Our waitress, Kirsten, was wonderful! ????
Came here for dinner with my girlfriend during our vacation, and the food was exceptional! We had to try the bison items on the menu, (the burger and gnocchi), and they were amazing. We also had some cocktails at the bar, which were also excellently made. The culinary team there does very great work, and the location right by the main strip of town makes it an excellent place to lounge with friends and have some drinks as well.
Good service, food and drinks!
Vegan review: After reading all the reviews on Happy Cow, the Vegan Dragon plate had a lot to live up to. It did not let me down! Wow, so amazingly tasty. I savoured every single bite, perfectly spiced and so delicious. I have to concur it’s one of the best vegan dishes I’ve had in a non-vegan restaurant! You must try it. I asked about vegan desserts, he said there aren’t any but they could whip up a chocolate chia seed pudding.
Great food, good price
I went with a group of 4 people for supper here tonight, ordered the "chicken and brie with bruchetta with pickled onions" off of the happy hour menu. First time it was brought just bread and and chicken and brie.. No brushetta asked for them where it is... Apparently they dont actually put bruchetta on the dish.. But they would put some on for me.. Brought back this tomato sauce with 4 tiny peices of brie and the chicken is extremely dry. Waited an hour for this and 3 burgers lol i didnt finish this just paid for yhe burgers and left. Maybe others have better experiences but we wont be back.
Second best calamari I have ever had - second only to Mama’s Fish House in Maui. Melt in your mouth tender. The food and the service (Hi Ollie!) we had were fantastic both times we were in (and we were only in town four nights). Highly recommended - and did I mention the calamari?
This place was mediocre. Service was really slow and the food wasn’t the great. A downscale to earls for example, would not go back. The person next to us sent his food back as it was cold..
Best French onion soup ever!
Food was good, staff attentive. Outside area was a bit scruffy.
Restaurant offered space for a fundraiser. Great atmosphere.
We have a dog and we were allowed to sit on the closed patio. Even though it was a cold and rainy day on the patio, the waitress was more than happy to serve us. Food was good too.
My wife, infant son and I dined at the Olive Bistro twice during our stay in Jasper. We were glad to support local business owners as they reopened after the Covid 19 shutdown. They had a happy hour, great food and wonderful service. They also provided a high-chair for our young son, which was great. We really enjoyed the pasta options! The patio also has great views. We stayed at the owners' beautiful home (B&B on Balsam) for 4 nights during our family getaway, which was a wonderful experience! We recommend both their restaurant and the B&B.
Food was very pricey and not very good quality was ok honestly.
Always a great meal! Excellent customer service!
The food was delicious and the waitress was really friendly. but it took a bit of a time to have our food. But i don't think it is a recurrent problem. I would recommend.
Food was delicious, service was great. Happy hour is short but sweet.
Last night me and my family went to the Olive Bistro to have a nice dinner in Jasper. Me and my gf ordered wagyu beef for two and my mom and her bf also got the wagyu beef for two at 100 for a meal for two people. When getting our meals the steaks looked like a ribeye steak it was a 16oz steak for two people Which is a decent portion but the quality was not there. Also the sides were teeny tiny small. we got Brussels sprouts that were raw and one potato croquette to share. Then getting our meal the waiter I think saw the look on our faces and said she would bring out some more sides which consisted of a small plate of more Brussels sprouts and a plate of French fries for all four of us to share. The waiter mentioned they where out of croquettes that's why we only got one. I do not suggest anyone getting the wagyu beef at this restaurant. I do know it's a delicacy and it is expensive yet this was just your typical 40 plate for one at any normal restaurant steak kind of meal. Not worth the price point not even a little bit.
Excellent service
Classy, friendly staff, reasonably priced & tasty! Cooked to your liking, vegan option available, gluten free options
Very pleasant experience, good variety of mixed drinks, accompanied with a fair selection of liquors. The decor is mismatched with not a lot of rhyme or reason to the feel of the restaurant. The cutlery and dishes also did not do any justice to the food was served. We enjoyed the holoumi cheese, it has a perfectly simplistic flavour. However, I would've expected more for the price. Next, I had the chef's choice pasta, which was portabello mushrooms and sausage on a bed of linguini noodles, tied together impeccably a sun dried tomato cream sauce. My girlfriend had the Roasted Vegetable Strudel. This consisted of perfectly grilled vegetables wrapped in a "melt in your mouth" phyllo, topped with balsamic reduction and cream cheese. She found the quantity to be satisfactory and the dish itself, was exemplary. And then the dessert....oh the dessert! Well we ordered two, just because. The special that evening we came was a beautifully crafted tirimisu. Lighter than air cake with and amazing coffee cream topped with a dollop of whipped cream and freeze dried raspberries for good measure. Absolutely delicious. For the truffle trio, we enjoyed the cardamom truffle to start. It was complex with it's salted lime topping, however, it seemed to be missing something. Next, was a chili truffle which was just too over powering in spice, and a bit too heavy. To finish, was a dark chocolate rum with salted caramel topping that saved the simple little trio. We were extremely pleased with the service. The gentleman who served us, not only had a friendly demeanor but, always made sure that we had what we needed with utmost respect and efficiency. Overall, we'd give a firm 4/5 for this little gem in the Rockies.
Nice ambiance good selection of beers !!
