Excellent , great staff A, good relax atmosphere, the manager Author was great and our waitress was very on the ball Jillian. Excellent food, the meatball sandwich was great could have used more sauce but they accommodated that immediately upon request. Will definitely be going back again!!

Ordered two vegetarian pizzas, the mushroom one was very bland and the four cheese was delicious. Very plain and bog standard decor, waited about 10 minutes for a table which was fine as could have a drink whilst waiting. Didn't think the food was anything that special but if you fancy a pizza it does the job, although they were quite expensive.

The meatballs were great, the ceasar salad was one of it's weak links for sure. It had no bacon no dressing I felt like it only had parmesan and lemon, with croutons. The pizza dough was great, but I felt like the raw red onions and cilantro were not good with the BBQ chicken.

Had our first food stop in Jasper before moving forward towards Hinton. Service was really nice, The server was new but was very knowledgeable. It was busy weekend but the Pizza arrived on time. Giving it Three stars as Pizza were not up to the taste mark I wanted. Tried to modify the taste by adding some basil and oregano but wasn't okay. Have never been to Italy so have no Idea how real pizza tastes but compared to other Pizza places where I have been; this wasn't worth the price at all. Would recommend North Face Pizza for Pizzas in Jasper.

My girlfriend and I love this place. Where we go for our après-ski or after an hike. The tomatoe bisque is just amazing and served with a little garlic bread. Service is fast and polite. Good choice of gelatos. Strongly recommend!

We ended up at this place quite late in the evening (an hour before closing) due to the restaurant we had intended on going to being closed.Turns out the universe was looking after us! Absolutely delicious food, the pizza and the tomato bisque were particularly good, as was the meatball pasta dish. And they even have vegan cheese! (one of our party doesn't eat dairy). The service was also great, our waitress went home after she took our order, presumably due to the late hour, and the ?chef took over our service and he was particularly good. Very attentive and friendly, and when I mentioned a small mistake in my order (I was not actually complaining as the food was delicious, but I ordered mushrooms on my pizza and they were missed, and I just wanted to make sure I wasn't charged for them as they were extra), the chef ended up comping my entire meal, despite my protests, which was totally unnecessary but so lovely! Would highly recommend coming here for a meal while in Jasper. Great food & amazing service!

We end up to return it but staff don't know how to deal with unsatisfied customer instead to fix the issue they start insist that the chicken is well cooked...I will attached the picture so you guys can see it... And no refund or replacement, this place is sucks!!!!

Had a great experience here! Sat at the bar solo and the bartender took care of me quickly and expertly. He gave me a good recommendation for a pizza that fit what I wanted and mixed a nice Kentucky mule. Vibrant atmosphere and great service. My only nit picky critique is that the food was very good, but not great. Although I regularly eat in NYC so it is possibly my standards are impossibly high. Nonetheless I would happily come back here.

The Margherita Pizza tasted lovely, however the service from the waitress that served my friends and I was far from good. A salad order came out wrong. When we asked why there wasn't pesto on our pizza, she said that it was under the cheese... Pesto is placed on top of pizza. The experience and the taste of food would have been much better if the staff was experiences and knew what they are selling.

This was my favorite pizza place in Jasper 6 years ago when I worked in town for the summer and it has totally stood the test of time! Great pizza, cool toppings, really affordable & delicious drinks, super friendly waitstaff. I look forward to returning the next time I make it to the Rockies.

We arrived super hungry after spending hours of sightseeing and Famoso was open ready to serve past lunch time. Greeted with a smiling host and within minutes we got the table. The service was great and the pizza sa and pasta simply delicious. They have a chilli oil which added extra heat ( we are Indians love our spices) Lucky for us we came between happy hours and got a lot of dishes at a very good price. Good place for family’s and friends to dig into hot freshly made pizzas with pops ( unlimited refills)

A Jasper favorite! Every time we eat here the service and food is amazing! Last night we walked in to a 90% full dining room, we were sat, ordered and had food in less than 10 minutes! We have also been with friends whose children have severe allergies, and they are so accommodating.

We had an amazing pizza with Brussels, prosciutto, honey, figs and other deliciousness! Maybe the cavelloni or something like that, it was amazing! The Walnut and gorgonzola salad was also good and we added a meatball for 2 bucks! Seriously could not recommend more!

Wow they really have friends who write reviews for them because reality is one of the worse pizzas ever had the misfortunate to order. Had a take out order of 2 12 inch pizzas total with tip(which now regret) over $50 at 8pm /28th. Got back to hotel somehow they managed to burn the outside crust while keeping the middle soggy with a paper thin(and I DO MEAN PAPER) crust finally was able to eat parts of pieces by scrapping away burnt outside crust. Buy pizza from anywhere but here even cardboard pizza from circle K would be better and a Hell of lot cheaper. Avoid at all cost

This was a great place. We both got the pizza and side for $15. Not too bad for price considering the food was really good. Soup was delicious! We accidentally brought in our own coffee (I didn't know they sold coffee too!) And they were really nice about it. We would totally come back and I'll get their coffee next time!!

I love Neapolitin pizza and this place didn't disappoint. We got there Funghi pizza and a building your own pizza with red sauce, prosciutto, spicy capicola, soppressata, ricotta, and caramelized onions. We got both as 12" pizzas and it was a good amount of food. Both were very different, but I loved them both. I probably would have preferred a meat on the Funghi, but it was still really good without one. The service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and we got our food quickly. The price of build your own was very reasonable compared to most pizza places. It compared to the price of the specialty pizzas but it's usually way more expensive to build your own. For great authentic pizza, definitely come here.

In town and wanted pizza so we gave it a try. Turned out to be a very nice place that server Neapolitan pizza and craft beers. Pizza choices are great but like normal I tried the standard with some a topping. Was perfectly ok and very fast to the table. Server was great and prices are what is expected in a resort town. I will be back to try other types now that they past the standard pie test.

Arrived here in a hurry for food, food was cold and tasted premade - ordered drinks (INCLUDING WATER) they took around 15 minutes to get to us. After all - would not recommend.

Thought it was a good restaurant with the rating. However, one of the servers was very rude, it was probably the rudest server I’ve ever had. She/He brought us the wrong plats and she/he had an attitude towards us like if it was are fault. Then we wanted to order other things and she was so impatient and we decided not to order things. I was driving down from Nanaimo to Edmonton. Called them just before closing and ordered a pizza and salad. I went in too pay ordered coffee and water. The gentleman who took my order did not charge me for coffee and water. He said he understands traveling with kids and little kindness goes a long way and wished me safe travels. Would definitely recommended this restaurant for awesome and kind service staff and amazing food. Thank you

Called in to place a pick up order, and somehow my custom pizza was ready in 10 minutes flat, despite lots of people ordering at the same time! Pizza didn't look great when I opened the box (thin, not enough vegan cheese, undercooked), but as soon as I took a bite I was in love! It was absolutely perfect; the most deliscous pizza I've had in a loooong time, one of the best ever. Will definitely return when I pass through Jasper again.

The waitress didn’t know the ingredients used in the menu items and on asking about eggs in a particular pizza cheese, she mentioned there is none. We then checked their website allergen list and saw that the cheese grana padano is used on all pizzas and it contains eggs. We then asked her to make ours without it she mentioned they would assemble it in their kitchen and that will take a while maybe 10 minutes. However we didn’t receive anything for the next 30 minutes. It killed our appetite and we were literally the last ones in the restaurant. There was another couple who seated and ordered after us and yet they were well done with their dinner. I just had a horrible experience overall, and to top it off the pizza came back with absolutely no salt or taste.

This place is more or less average in every sense. I went in with a group of 4 around dinner time, and we were told the wait was 20 minutes. We were happy to do so, but we ended up waiting 40 minutes. Once we were seated, it took several minutes for water to come, and we did not get proper silverware until requested. Everybody was very disgruntled at this point, and the tight and loud space did not help. However, our order of two 12 inch pizzas and a salad came in ten minutes. They tasted mediocre, and slices were soggy; we had trouble picking them up. I understand it was tourist season and dinner time, but the service and environment were not very good. The space simply couldn’t accommodate all the people. Would recommend only if it’s outside meal hours, and you have plenty of time to spare

Famoso is definitely my favorite go-to for a good pizza. Highly recommend the Primavera, you can eat to your artichoke-hearts content. The Vesuvio is a spicy delight, great with some added mushrooms. Famoso offers a great atmosphere, great service, and this Jasper location is no exception. If you are in Jasper it is better to eat food than to be food. Once you are done avoiding the bears on the trail (or even if you are a bear off the trail) come fill your belly before you hibernate for the the winter!

Tasty Pizza! - picked up a couple pizzas, abruzzo and italian ham, for our first night in Jasper. Everything was great, easy ordering by phone, pickup with distanced protocols and pizza ready on time. We’ve always liked Famoso and this was a real treat. It has been a long time since we had so good service in a restaurant! This is a real pizza place. Home made tomato sauce, fresh basil. There is nothing vegan on the menu but they do have daiya cheese for no extra charge! Sweet price. It costed 16$ to share a pizza

Awesome pizza. Dough was the perfect degree of chewy. Ingredients are put on last, after the sauce and cheese. Service was decent, and we didn't need to wait for a table. The 7" with a side salad was (almost) the right size for me, and my wife finished her pasta dish (which she never can). Not that it mattered to us, but they had some big screens showing different sports channels. Room volume was low enough that we could have a conversation among ourselves. Would definitely go back, or find another one in our travels.

The cashier girl was rude and almost yelled at me because I could not get my card to work with her machine. They also don’t let the customers use the washrooms at this time which the girl mentioned to me not so nicely.

Contrary to the description the pizza is not authentic Neapolitan style. We had a Margaritha and a Diavolo but both were too little crisp and could have used another few seconds in the oven. Unfortunately also the Tiramisu had very little to do with a real Italian one as it tasted too artificial and had basically no coffee. Best was the Banana and Caramel desert and the Jasper local beer. Service seemed chaotic and not well organized. For the food quality and service the price is too expensive. No recommendation.

Amazing pizza, great service! My wife and I got "The Italian Job" pizza and it was so good, the two of us ran through a grande size without any leftovers. The ingredients tasted fresh and worked very well together and the dough and sauce were incredibly tasty. My wife also got a mocha and she loved it. I highly recommend stopping by and grabbing some pizza!

The website says that they offer delivery in my town (Jasper). So I placed an online order but when I called to confirm I was informed that they had no control over changes to my online order (Eg pickup only). If I wanted a delivery I would have to add another item, thus allowing the restaurant to proceed with the order. Otherwise too bad, waste of food I guess. Don't waste your time.

There are 3 vegan pizzas and 1 vegan salad - all are clearly labelled on the menu. You can also build your own pizza. They offer great vegan cheese and pepperoni. Service was friendly, portion sizes were filling, and prices were reasonable. The crust was chewy and delicious.

Very busy place for dinner for a reason. We enjoyed our food here. The pizza was cooked in one of those large Italian pizza ovens with a rotating base. Pizza was Italian style thin base in the middle and thick towards the edges. Crispy and chewy.

Our family of six tried to eat here today, and were refused service even though we offered to sit separately at three tables for two as they were "saving them in case we have couples come in". Would not recommend for families as they clearly prefer couples. Disappointed as it smelled good!

They said it would take at least half an hour, when I got to my hotel 15 minutes later, the delivery guy had been waiting for for me for 15 minutes already. Result: cold pizza. The water glasses were not clean and my wine glass was dirty with someone else's lipstick. The wine was not taken care of, instead I was brought a new glass. The food was not worth the money. The server was nice but was the only one on, so she was very busy. Overall, definitely not a recommendation.

They have so many options, oh my! We went with the Sweet BBQ chicken and the Spicy Thai pizza. Both were absolutely excellent. Pretty reasonable prices for being in middle of Downtown Jasper. Highly recommended if you love some freshly made pizza!!!

This was a nice unexpected surprise Jasper was covered in smoke so not really a day for sightseeing and photography. We decided to have a lunch there. Very sad to be discriminated about my medical problem and the mask exemption bylaw. It is very clear. It would be great if management properly understands the bylaw and teach the employees. I am scared to go back in and it was only a pickup order due to my exemption not wanting to stay inside. The lockdown is coming and you will need every customer you can get.

Great food! Tomato bisque is always outstanding after a day at marmot basin. I've ate here a several times and this is one of the best franchises in jasper for sure. I did recieve the wrong order once, but they corrected as quickly as possible. Overall i'd highly recommend eating here.

NOT AN OPTION FOR VEGANS. The vegan pizza from Famoso was probably the worst thing I have ever tried to eat. The crust was floppy and soggy and the cheese had a horrible thick, sticky texture. I've had pizza with Daiya cheese before and had no issue so I'm not sure what they are doing wrong. Please don't make the same mistake as me! I forced myself to eat one slice, hoping it would get better. It doesn't get better. Edit: in response to your response, I did fill out the feedback form before writing this review hoping that you would say this pizza was a mistake but instead I was basically told 'tough luck'.

I have never been so highly dissatisfied at famoso staff and the restaurant service. This used to be one of my favourite restaurants and after this experience I don’t think I would ever return. It starts off with me calling in for a pickup order. The person who answered the phone doesn’t even show the courtesy to answer my question. Instead I am told “to check the menu as [she] has no time to answer any of my questions”. A little upset I still place my order for Sophia Loren sandwiches (I have had them before and I know that I like them). I come and pick up my order and when I eat it, they taste nothing like the Sophia Loren I have known to love. I call the restaurant asking if anything can be done only to be told that it was my mistake of misreading the menu. What I could not stand is the rude manner in which the waitress and manager at the time talked to me. Exasperated, I hung up and went to eat the rest of meal only to find a half burnt pizza, and a dessert pizza with not even the whip creme. Again I call up the restaurant, only to again hear rude comments from the manager. It’s a real shame that I was treated this way, it really is a disgrace to the franchise I had come to love.

Had two pizzas and a Caesar salad delivered to our hotel. Whilst delivery was relatively speedy the pizzas left a lot to be desired. The base was nothing but soggy, the type where when you pick up a slice all of the toppings slide off the point. Not to mention they missed one of the toppings that we requested. The Caesar salad itself was ok, and thankfully the dressing came on the side as we opted not to use the mostly oil dressing in the end. For the price you pay, you could probably get similar quality or better for a lot less at Pizza Hut.

Service was unfriendly, which seems to be par for the course in Jasper. I couldn't choose between two items so asked the server for some guidance and she acted like it was the weirdest question she'd ever heard. Then she brought me my bill at the same time she brought my food, so I felt like.she wanted me to leave. I asked another server when they closed and they were open for 3 more hours. My order came out wrong but at this point I didn't really think I would get anywhere if I mentioned the error so I just ate what I got. The food, though incorrect, was good.

Can’t believe the good reviews on this place. The bottom of the pizza was burnt and the lack of sauce would make an Italian chef un-alive himself. Both drinks ordered were medium at best. Definitely not worth the price.

Bottom of grande pizza was burnt. They said they cook all grande pizzas to well-done or else it will be soggy but you can taste the burnt char. They happily retook our order for a smaller size but this pizza was undercooked and very soggy. Have definitely had better pizza else where.

Service was fast despite the wait, servers were courteous but our salad was made with lettuce that had bolted. When lettice bolts to seed it makes ancextremely bitter taste and a milky liquid when you tear it which is exactly what we got. We let the server know and were charged for the salad anyways. Otherwise the pizzas were good just dont order greens.

This is our second experience with this Famoso...both take-out...both really not very good...in restaurant may be better, but I really can't recommend the take-out. Sorry. We are famoso fans of the one in Red Deer...not sure why it's so different here.

Top notch!! The pomodoro sauce was rich and authentic with the perfect blend of seasoning and not too much black pepper. The meatballs were juicy and tender and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The kids meals were portioned out perfectly and my kids ate them without a fuss which is a definite victory and never happens my youngest even ate the crust on the pizza!! Go here for some authentic tasting Italian food with decent portions and lovely service.

The staff doesn’t notice anyone is there until you try to call them and they were very short making little effort to try and see what is needed. I was taking delivery and glad I didn’t have to stay there to eat. One of the pizzas was visibly burnt and had I known I would have returned it but it was a hassle to go back. The other pizzas were ok. For the price and location I would expect more

Good pizza, grab it to go, and have a beer while they cook it. Super fast.. Update, went for pizza the other night, ordered the San Andrea's and an abruzzo both a soggy mess, sent one pizza back it was so bad. They did replace with better 7" personal pizza, and didn't charge us for it, so good service recovery, just didn't appreciate being lectured on how a neapolitan pizza should be.

We liked the pizza, but the tiramisu is terrible. Just tastes like bland pasty cream with a single coffee-soaked lady finger in it. No hint of marsala or zabaione so it just didn't taste like tiramisu. The portion was also quite small (although it was so bad, we didn't actually mind how little we got). Also, the staff is either dumb, lazy, or both. They weren't familiar with the menu. They didn't know what daiya was (it's on the menu), and then they didn't connect the dots that if someone asks for a "pizza with daiya", it doesn't mean they like the taste of fake cheese so much that they want to pile on the fake cheese on top of the regular cheese to drown it out... but rather that they wan't a pizza with daiya INSTEAD of regular cheese. People don't ask for daiya when they can eat dairy cheese.

Truly a sad evening when one of your favourite franchises has the audacity to not follow through with regular restaurant protocols. We were not greeted, sat or even offered utensils until asked. Very unfortunate experience. Management freely gossips with staff within hearing distance. Over charged, and a refusal for refund. When confronted our group was made to feel bad for lack of tip. For quality service this is not the place to go. Staff would rather degrade, than provide a pleasurable experience

We got their Tuscan Forno Chicken pizza to go yesterday afternoon. To our absolute horror, we found an actual broken human fingernail in the pizza. This was revolting. Needless to say we threw out the entire pizza. If they don’t have basic hygiene protocols that prevent these things, what else could they not be following? We will never be going back here again, we’re absolutely disgusted. What a waste of money. Edit: On top of being unhygienic, it seems like the owners are unapologetic and patronizing in their response, which insinuates that I cannot tell the difference between a hard and rigid pistachio shell and a hard, but flexible fingernail. Mistakes happen, and that's fine. What isn't fine is insulting the intelligence of patrons. I'd advise people to stay away from this place - the owners can be extremely rude when you point out a mistake! If you're looking for amazing pizza in Jasper (without the bonus fingernails topping), I'd highly recommend Jasper Pizza Place.
