A must see picturesque place. (Update) it's now open at dinner time and they make one of the most authentic and amazing italian pasta sauce I've tasted lately (and huge size). Don't stop in the usual places in Hope, drive few mins more and treat yourself with something really special.

Enjoyed an amazing lunch here today! If you love homemade soups and sandwiches, you need to eat here. We ordered the Montreal meat and the Chicken on ciabatta sandwiches. Both were unbelievably tasty. We will definitely be back!

Aug 2020 This relaxing little cafe is just off the main highway. Covid precautions are excellent! Staff all wear masks and it is very clean. Bathrooms are also very clean. Delicious food with big portions. Free wifi. Alcohol permit. Child friendly. Patio. Definitely worth the stop.

Worth a detour if you are nearby, or even if you aren't! I was delighted to enjoy 3 raspberry crepes this weekend for under $6.00, rich coffee and just an overall great vibe. This place is built entirely of upcycled and reused lumber and over 200 owls decorate this place - all donated by patrons - making for great eye-candy while you enjoy your treats.

My husband and I just came across this cafe today by fluke! We took the wrong exit when we were looking for a restroom and food. We both had the chicken sandwich with the chicken veggie soup and it was really tasty! The aesthetic is a lot of fun with all the owls, and the staff were super lovely. The food takes a bit longer, but it's not bad especially when everything they make is made from scratch. A missed exit never tasted so good ????

Stopped by for lunch, masks required, outside seating is available! We ate outside, it was really nice. Staff is friendly, menu is smaller but it's all fresh and very well made. We ordered the wildberry and mango smoothie, sun dried tomato omelette with hash browns. Chicken ciabatta with salad of the day, and French toast. Everything was really good, we would love to go back. Loved the wood building, all the wood tables and owls. Highly recommended even if you're only stopping for coffee and a slice of (strawberry rhubarb crumble was the flavor when we were there) pie at the till. My only con was my smoothie had a lot of seeds that got stuck in my teeth.

What a cute little place! The whole cafe is decorated with little owl ornaments and has some live edge tables and bar inside and they have a little patio out back. The staff were all so friendly and it appeared many locals come in so there was this very comforting and familiar atmosphere. Went here on a Sunday (all day breakfast buffet) and loved every moment. The staff catered to my dairy allergy as the eggs are normally cooked in butter for the buffet. Instead they fried me some lovely sunny side up eggs with crispy bacon, toast, and hash browns. All were delicious and filling. I also drank their iced chai tea which was so refreshing after being in a hot car all morning!

I am baffled by the good reviews. The food is terrible and severely overpriced. Expect something on par with concession stand quality - a basic sandwich with a plate of crappy potato chips. The billboards are misleading and I would not describe this as homemade. The staff on the other hand are quite nice and are the only reason I can give this place 1 star at all.

A true gem! Everything about this place is amazing- the food is tasty with generous portions, the staff extremely hospitable and friendly! And the atmosphere- you can clearly tell that what the theme is by the ubiquitous owl statues,but it’s also done in a really tasteful manner, which is so hard to pull off. When I picture a Cafe, I picture the Owl street Cafe. It has space, it is comfortable, and it has a theme. All that is missing is a comfy chair and a fireplace. The menu is limited but the sandwich was fresh and the soup tasty. It's my new place to stop for a coffee on my way through.

Great vibe with exposed wood interior, many plants and lots of owl-themed nicknacks. They also have a beautiful outdoor patio space to enjoy your coffee/breakfast on a sunny day. It all began with a warm welcome. Next you have service, courteous and friendly. Best part for me is the food. Once the food is good then everything makes senses: the welcome, the service. Lovely little roadside cafe. We went at a pretty busy time and the service was still amazing. We had to wait for our food which I didn't mind at all because we got to take in the eclectic decor. The menu was small but all good items on it. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Hope.

Great spot and even greater value! Very generous with the bacon on my BLT. Cesar salad was ok but the homemade chicken soup was amazing. Prices are super reasonable, my family of 5 are for 50$! Only thing is choose he soup over the salad! The outside eating area is cozy and comfortable.

Came here for lunch on a trip day. The senior lady who served us was very nice and polite. The interior was well-decorated (the wood used to make the central table seems to be a fancy material that’s regularly used for violins!! The wavy patterns looked so beautiful I was amazed). Very nice atmosphere for a relaxing afternoon. The food was basic but tasty and portion was large. I wish there could be a bit more choices for lunch time though.

"No, but if you give me 5 mins, we'll open front doors and move table outside. Dog will be okay there". What service!!! Made our day (and the dog's). This cafe is full of character. Not only is the interior filled with owls, but there is a charming garden patio to enjoy as well. You have to order at the counter, and the menu does not do the food justice. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches and saw some amazing looking pancakes walk by. I highly recommend if you want quality food while in Hope.

Very cute and beautiful place. Homemade food and great specials! I took away 1 star because food takes a white to come out... but it's probably because it's a small town and there's no need to rush... especially on vacation ???? I had the beef stew and bun and it was absolutely rich and tasty!! The bread is very yummy too...I wonder if they make it in house. My husband tried the chicken vegetable soup which was flavorful too, the only downside was the dry chicken breast. I prefer chicken thighs in my soups so they stay juicy!

Good food, very cool decorations, lots of choices. My kids loved the fruit and pancakes. The woman working there was very nice. Great view in the parking lot. Lots of space inside though the cute wood tables were a bit small for 4 people. We'd go there again for sure. :) Oh and the giant tea mug was exactly what I needed!

Cute counter service cafe. You order at the counter, get a number and they bring the order to your table. Steady flow of customers but not hectic at all. Really nice locals- focused spot away from the ugly highway strip. Worth a short detour to check this spot out.

Poor customer service. Took over 20 minutes to order with only 3 customers in line. The cashier seemed confused most of the time. Took over an hour for the food to come out and the people working there looked stressed. When my meal was served it wasn't what I ordered and needed to be remade. They never apologised and were disgruntled. Cheaped out on the cheese in a cheese omlette! Good coffee. Nice dining nooks and places to eat outside. Aesthetically pleasing. Food mediocre at best and expensive! It had promise of a unique, relaxing dining experience and turned out to be the opposite. Very disappointing!

Best place ever , we have travelled across Canada 3 times in the last 2 years and it is the first time we had our breakfast done correctly. Very nice place. We came here after getting a recommendation from our motel. The cafe is cute and decorated with wood tones. They serve simple breakfasts and sandwiches and everything is local. Coffee was priced reasonably as well despite being located in a tourist town.

I just wished this one regular guy would have stopped talking about idiot Trump on and on and over and over and so loud about him. Turned me off big time but not cafes fault! Ruined my experience. Would have been a 5 star then.
