It's alright. They have gluten free options with a pretty decent bun. It feels a little expensive for the kind of place it is. But if you are looking for a good burger in a relatively quick delivery, this place would do the trick. It's just nothing life changing.

Awesome Burgers! Love the bacon cheese burger and my husband loves the donair burger. You need to get the onion rings to go with your meal. Every time we go to the Krave the service is great the burgers are fresh,hot and juicy! Just the way you want them.Perfect! Every time. I have taken a lot of friends to try and they all agree. ????

Best "fast food" burger in the city. They nail it every time. The burgers are simple, everything tastes fresh, the patties are cooked to perfection. The fries used to be pretty good but recently they have been overwhelmingly great. A place that deserves a lot more attention outside of burger week. They also offer lots of sides to choose from and a few other options besides burger. Grab a beer, burger, and fries and you've got a meal that's sure to satisfy.

It is a burger place for a tourist location. Nothing wow. Burgers were ok. Ambience was ok. You order at counter and they deliver to your table. The problem was one of the bread was with fungus. We notified and they replaced it, but it should have caught before coming out of the kitchen especially you are dealing with breads this is a basic check.

MY first visit to Krave Burger. The hamburger was very good and delivered exactly as I requested and I also enjoyed the fries. Another big plus was the fact that you could order beer with your meal. What's better than being able to have a 'burger & beer'! You don't have that option at any of the large chains or specialty places like '5 Guys', 'Hero' etc.

The burgers here are excellent. Good quality, excellent flavor, and the service is pretty quick. They are a little skimpy on their french fries though for what they cost. Even with that, I will be going back for the quality of the burgers.

I had the Krave burger and fries today. It was excellent, and I usually don't care much for fries, but these hand-cuts are way above par. Burger was a 9 out 10 for my tastes. Good service and different format makes for a unique experience.

I got the bacon cheese burger which was really tasty, hot and fresh and seasoned well. I also had the regular mac and cheese (they have one with bacon and mushroom for a little more). I could have done without the crushed spicy cheetos on mine but some people might really enjoy that. Its took less than 10 minutes which was pretty fast, considering it's not fast food. They also have outlets (both regulat outlets and usb) and if you give them your credit card or ID they will give you a charger for your phone. I think this is a great way to bring customers in and show they are thinking about more than just the food they serve but the customers who they are servings daily convenience.

Always a good selection of burgers. I love their krave dog, very delicious hot dog with many options. All tables have USB charging slots, great for topping up your batteries.

Best burger I've had in North America. I don't know how they make the beef patty but it's out of this world. Fries excellent. Good selection of local beers. Cheap, and good service too. Can't say enough good things about this place. You won't regret eating here.

The place was clean and the staff was quick and friendly. However have to give this 1 star as the food and value is what matters the most and my spouse and I found both lacking. The cost of what other restaurant's would consider a standard combo (burger, fry and drink) cost 40+ dollars for two. We knew this going in but were willing to still give them a try, if the food matched the price we would be satisfied. Well it was not to be as everything we had was bland and the onion rings tasted of old fryer oil. The burgers when assembled were so hot and wrapped in foil that everything was soaking wet and limp ( I want to mention that we ate in our car, so the burgers did not sit on the wrapping for long.) As mentioned in other reviews the flavour on everything was just missing. First time trying them and we are not impressed. It is possible your experience will be better but all I can say is best of luck. Pleasant St location*

Recently discovered I was celiac which promptly put a stop to a lot of my favourite foods so you can imagine my excitement when I discovered a burger place offering a gluten free bun option! Lettuce buns are great and all but an actual bun holds everything together a little better. This was my first time eating at Krave Burger and I was honestly surprised at the amount of celiac friendly options available. I had the "Krave Burger" with a gluten free bun, bacon added along with a side of fries and it was fantastic. Service was quick, polite, and professional and as stated above the food was amazing. Considering the serving size I wouldn't call it expensive either as I was pushing for those last few fries. I'll definitely be returning in the future, thanks for a great lunch!

Friendly staff, great fries, solid burger. Gluten free buns with dedicated fryer for fries which is great for people with gluten allergies. If anyone from the restaurant reads these, giving a little bit of a toasting to the gluten free buns would make an already good burger an awesome burger!

I really like their smoking goat burger, their truffle fries and their hazelnut express shake. I do not mind their poutine and their mac and cheese were not bad - good portion when I order separately and not as a side dish. Pretty fast even when they get steady. Their guy staff were pretty nice too. I really like how they help raise for different charities.

It was okay. The concept is alot like my restaurant Via Cibo. You order at the counter, pay and get your drinks and it gets brought out to you. You grab your condiments etc from a side stand and voila. Burger's weren't mind blowing but good. We ordered a few sides, fries, salad etc. I'd go back for sure but I don't think Id ever Krave it.

Ordered two burgers 2 fries and bottles of water and wasn't told of any combos nor that fountain pops are not available. We ordered bottles of water instead and charged, which is understandable. Since when is a bacon cheeseburger $12 something when the menu says $9 something and then extra charges for bacon, undercooked and minimal cheese. After speaking with an employee surrounding an explanation and provided an LOUSY explanation which easily summed up funny math and supposed savings I left with 2 burgers 2 fries 2 bottles of water and 1 beer at over $45. I wont be frequenting the place ever again!

Feb 03, 2021 updated It’s been a long time since last time I had their burger, so I ordered again on the delivery app. This time I got mushroom melt burger with fries. Feels like I was a little bit disappointed this time... There’s no combo option on the app, and I understand everything costs extra on the app, but when I saw my burger and it was pretty tiny, buns were dry, and the beef was pretty hard on the edges. I love Krave’s but this time I was not a fan... I’ll still order their burger in the future to give another shot, but probably rather not use the app. —— First time here, and it was super duper good experience! I ordered the steakhouse burger and was so tasty! Love the fries here as well! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Will come back again for sure! Can’t wait to try the other ones here!

Had the Bacon and Blue burger! I like blue cheese so I was expecting something excellent, but what I got was a crumbled dry burger patty with a disgusting taste from the sauce/blue cheese that tasted like what I can only describe as very perfumed dish soap! I had two bites and tossed the rest out! Was expecting something so much more for the price and was let down bigtime! The onion rings were the only thing I had that were actually edible! If I could give it less than one star...I would in a heartbeat! ????

Had the bacon-blue burger, a poutine and a milkshake. Everything was excellent, but I shouldn't have ordered this burger as I do not like blue cheese. The service was the fastest and the most courteous I've seen in a restaurant for a while, so that was very good. They have a large variety of milkshakes, and they are all pretty good from the number of times I've went to Krave Burger. 5/5

Nice decorations and atmosphere with great customer service. I had their signature goat burger and it was good. However, the size of the burger is very small with reference to the price. The fries was ok and not so great. This could be better with a little improvement.

Our very first time trying Krave burger at their new location. What a let down, halfway through we found a long hair. The food wasn't anything special either for $41 for two combos. You are better off going to five guys for amazing burgers.

Great burgers. I like that you can add basically whatever you want to your burger (fried egg, mushrooms, etc), and upgrade to milkshakes, etc. Though the price does climb fairly quickly if you do. Pro tip: if adding an egg, make sure to specify you want it over hard if you don't want a runny yolk.

I ordered a poutine when i was there and my friends ordered a burger. It was a little awkward that my poutine was served almost 15-20 minutes before their burgers came out. I appreciated the quick delivery of my dish but it was definitely weird slowly eating cheese curds while we waited.

I walked into Krave Burger thinking it was going to be some greasy hamburger joint, the first thing I noticed was the large menu, over the top for a little restaurant. Waiter took my order before I could even sit down, amazing service. Food came within 10 minutes of ordering. When I ordered the double bacon cheese patty melt, I was expecting just the average burger, but when the waiter walked over to my table and put the burger down I was shocked how large it was. Burger was so wide and tall I had to squeeze and press it down, and it still could barely fit in my mouth. I was happy I forgot to order fries because that burger was huge. The taste was absolutely delicious, hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. 4 buns and 2 or 3 patties, lots of bacon and the cheese was melted all over the buns and patties. Overall 10/10 experience, don’t judge a book by its cover. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I live in PEI and every time I go to Halifax Krave Burger is always a stop, it has some of the best burgers you can get in the maritimes. They have something for everyone too with a menu that is not just ground beef and buns. You could go in there for a month and every day have something new and delicious. On top of all there regular burgers (ie cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger) they have amazing creations like the barnyard burger, which is my personal favorite and definitely worth a try. If your in Halifax it is definitely worth your time to get a burger and enjoy the fast and friendly service.

Krave Burger is a fantastic spot that is definitely more than meets the eye. At first glance it seems like a slightly upper crust fast-food type spot that would serve your standard selection of burgers. But taking one look at the menu shows that they're offering much more than that. Anyplace that has a blue cheese burger and lamb burger on their standard menu is the tops in my books. Having a decent selection of sides other than fries is also a nice touch. The spinach salad was simple but delicious and complimented the lamb burger nicely. I will definitely come back and explore the menu more in the bear future.

It’s not great if I’m being honest. The beef is cooked at a low temp so it looks terrible and doesn’t get an outside crisp as you may expect. The flavour on the steakhouse burger is terribly balanced. It was served with almost no sauce, I couldn’t taste horseradish at all (it’s possible they didn’t even add the horseradish sauce). So in the end it was rubbery dry beef, with rubbery bacon on top (same issue, it’s not cooked at a hot enough temperature) and no sauce so there’s no acidity to cut the fat in the beef and bacon. The poutine was plain and rather dry as well. Every burger shop in the woodside area is better then this place… I feel bad because this place has the potential, but I think they close within a year if they don’t figure this out… Best of luck…

Went to Krave a few times and it was ok. Their milkshakes are the best thing on their menu. Last time I went the burger was overcooked and burnt, the fries were cold and they had by far the most disgusting bathrooms in the city (I am including bars and gas stations in this as well). It clearly hadn't been cleaned for quite some time. I contacted Krave directly about this and they basically just said sorry, shouldn't be like that and that's it. We haven't been back since and don't plan on going back in the future. So glad Charger burger is opening nearby

Absolutely horrible $30 for a chicken burger w onion rings and a burger pop and fries tht did not have any flavor at all and the fries were so stale it seemed like they had been sitting out for hours and then just dunked in hot oil to try to freshen up. The chicken burger was dried up and again lacked flavor. Should have gone to wendies...would have been alot cheaper with flavor and the fries would have been fresh.. I would have given this a negative rating but it wouldn't let me. Go somewhere else

Ate here many times before. Always love the burgers. Price is steep but worth it. Today however I got mac and cheese for my side instead of fries. Seems there no way to make that part of the combo so the "add 3.49 to make it a combo with fries and a soft drink" went up to 3.99 for the mac and cheese and another dollar for the drink. The mac and cheese was sadly the first terrible thing I tried here. Box was half full (Thankfully I guess) and the taste was incredibly thin on top of a weird feeling like the noodles had been boiled in a chemical similar to lysol or something. My fiance seems to have found her Mac and Cheese fine. Maybe mine was a different batch but I don't know. I'll definitely eat here again of course, but I hope I never make this mistake of considering this 1 item menu again. Buffalo chicken burger was great. Every other burger I tried here has been great as has the poutine and the donair meet.

Delicious! The burger was perfect, cooked flat top style, with high quality toppings such as gooey goat cheese! With a decent selection of drinks to choose from bottled or on tap, you can't go wrong! A great place to hang out with friends, grab a burger and just enjoy.

Loved the local produce and the burgers but the Shakes are the stars here. What an amazing taste. And yes the combo across the street are probably cheapier (but they do charge extra for a shake) but no way as good and with the same feel.

Went here for my lunch hour while at work... So amazed and impressed at the speed of service while receiving high quality food items. I ordered the chicken sandwich... It was incredible!! The chicken was so moist, lots of toppings, the bun was AMAZING. And the home cut fries were to die for! So delicious. Will definitely return and have already recommended it to friends ????

heard great things about crave burger so i thought i'd give it a try, we were gonna sit in but the place had a very unpleasant odor so we just got our food to go. staff was friendly but honestly i was disappointed, the bacon was not cooked at all just white rubber that i had to take off for 12 dollars that's unacceptable not sure how you could serve that to someone. and we got an order of onion rings for 5 dollars super skimpy serving, didn't even fill half the small bag, i won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Decent veggie burger! There are a bunch of toppings to choose from for both vegans and non-vegans and the truffle fries without the mayo are tasty. They are a bit pricey but they offer charging stations throughout the restaurant, no vegan dessert or milkshake options though.

Great staff experience, explaining the menu and choices. Beer was $4 in a combo. Food is very tasty. Burger is well proportioned by condiments. I would recommend anyone looking a similar 5 guy price but better quality ingredients. Follow up. Second night in a row, had dreams about this experience. Well, the truffle fries! Omg! What an excellent meal. Fresh and delicious! The beer was perfect. Supper worth every single penny you have for this meal. Bacon cheeseburger. !!!!!

Have been ordering Krave burger regularly for the past year. Recently stopped and turned to other burger restaurants. The value of the burgers here is meh despite their great taste. We would love to support the locals as long as they support us back. The price jump last year was such a bummer as the burgers were expensive to begin with.

Had a nice vegan veggie burger here. The price was good too. The patty was a bit different from what I expected, it was made of grains with a curry taste and not made to imitate or resemble a real burger. Comes with a nice tomato chutney on it and other toppings. You have to specify vegan so they skip the butter and mayo.

Great burger but it's really disappointing how they treat the elderly. Watched an older woman get turned away because she couldn't figure out how to send the text to be allowed in. The prices are also pretty silly; a burger, pop and fries comes to $21.

Delicious burgers! Love the handmade patties and homemade french fries! DJ's fries back home were the best, now Krave Burger is the new benchmark!! Was really busy when we arrived, lunch on a Friday, however our food came quickly once we were able to order. I had the barnyard burger and my wife had the Krave Burger! Both great, and friendly service to boot. Also enjoyed the craft beer selection!

I lived across the street from Krave Burger, several years ago and finally managed to find myself in the area, this week. I was very happy to see that the restaurant was still very neat and clean and the food just as tasty. I believe the menu was a bit bigger with lots of healthy choices. The staff were super friendly and helpful in making my meal choice. A great place for dining alone, with family or friends. Love my Krave Burger.

The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Myself and my party did find however that the prices for toppings were a little unreasonable. The $6 burger doesn't even come with cheese, and adding toppings to your burger quickly makes it pretty expensive. I am not frugal by any means but I find charging $1 for a topping that might cost 10 cents a little crazy.

Burger is alright, but quite pricey. For me the burger week burger certainly lacked that "wow" factor I was expecting from them. Fried wontons were nice but vegetables and more toppings could have enhanced textures and flavors. Maybe next year.
