Wow! What an excellent new entry on the Halifax food scene! Service, ambiance and food were all terrific. While we lamented about the old used book store that used to be in this place, we quickly forgot about it when our drinks were served. The burger was one of the best I have had in the city!! My wife had the chicken and it is beyond!! So good. And the dessert board....where have you been all my life?!?! We will be back.
Went for food and drinks. the cocktails were absolutely fantastic, and a great selection! All of the food we sampled was delicious, will definitely be back again, the trip will be worth it just for the frites!
Amazing place for dinner and cocktails, I didn’t love brunch.
Loved the vibe, had a bar seat and staff were very interactive and friendly. Great vibe, will definitely be going back
Excellent service, AMAZING food. One of the best, most generous charcuterie boards in the city. Totally work the money. Excellent cocktails.
Looved the cocktails, food too was great. Very noisy but we had a good time anyways

Great food, great service.
I eat out alot 4 nights a week,,use too I should say..tried this place twice but....this place very expensive and bartender only interested in hitting on girls..twice he messed up our drinks..food is average bar food. It's a miss for me.
To be honest, the atmosphere was excellent as was the drink menu. The bartender however was a fairly sarcastic individual and not good to interact with, I ultimately would not recommend this place.
Oysters and drinks were great, server (Julie) was also very helpful and friendly!!!
Great cocktails and food. Not much else to say.
It’s great for date night. A bit pricey though.
A little salty
Food and Drinks are 10 out 10
Amazing food, atmosphere and service. The new go to spot in Halifax.
Good ambiance and service
Ordered during the pandemic and it was excellent. Fried chicken was awesome, lamb ribs were great, and the brisket gnocchi was phenomenal. Super impressed by the qaulity of the food, especially given the circumstances. Highly recommended.
Hermitage. Food was great. Server Sasha was super! But 120 minutes for a $200 meal- 10 minutes per meal!, is not right!! Wish they told us that before we went, definitely would have declined. With wine pairing paying $350 for gulping down food is not right! We were told 3 times we only have 2 hours for the 10 course meal that we booked weeks in advance. Not happy. We enjoyed going to Julep, another restaurant owned by the 3 musketeers, but our last food experience there was atrocious. Apparently we're not the only ones. Sad and disappointing!
Exceptional food, exceptional service! Have been here a few times & and always extremely satisfied. Would absolutely recommend this to everyone!
We stopped into Julep on a whim while waiting for a dinner reservation. The place was very busy but we were able to grab a seat at the bar. The food menu looked very interesting and high end but we opted for a couple cocktails as to not spoil our dinner. I have to say, these were probably the best cocktails I've ever had. The bartender, Danielle, was amazing at her craft and it was awesome to sit there and watch her at work. We definitely look forward to our next visit and some more amazing cocktails!
This place is a must try! Food and cocktails are both creative and delicious
Staff were amazing! Delightful and quick on the drinks and food. The atmosphere was a mix between individual and modern, with a hit of chic vibes. Bonus points if you noticed the moss ceiling boxes ! Over all great amazing experience, for drinks I recommend the "self-care" it will tale care of you for sure ????
Very cute interior - decent service, awesome custom cocktail. ????
I went there last night and had a great time! The atmosphere is great and so was the service. I had the fried chicken and my boyfriend had the beef short ribs and both were amazing. Afterwards we got dessert to go, and again it did not disappoint! I definitely would recommend this restaurant!
Service was good, food fell flat. Very over priced, small servering. My dish tasted like white cheeder kraft dinner.
Great atmosphere in a very old building. Brick and stone. Good choice of cocktails, well done too. Should make reservations to assure there is a seat for you.
Amazing food and drinks! Loved the atmosphere
Great service amazing food
Reeeeeally gorgeous and homey little kitchen restaurant. Sort of a chic farm-to-table vibe. Food is DELICIOUS. Super new so we were happy to stumble upon it and try it just based on its look, with out reading anything about it review wise. Very happy result! Get the gnocchi!
I'm a huge fan of Julep. There's an amazing environment, great staff, and awesome food. Such a fan that I made a point to support this business while they were closed during the early days of our provincial state of emergency. I was very disappointed during a recent visit however that employees were not wearing masks. The restaurant association agreement requires where social distancing cannot occur staff MUST have non-medical face masks. I won't be returning at this time as I feel it shows a general lack of regard for the health and safety of their customers as well as the public health approved opening plan.
The good : Really good food. We tried the haddock burger and the beef tartare which were both delicious. The less good : We had to wait 20min before the waiter came to see us to get our orders. We went at 13pm and the place was not really crowded
Everyone should check out Julep. The food is amazing, staff are very friendly, and the building itself is a Halifax staple. The food by the United States' south. I would definitely recommend the catfish tacos. It's not battered and fried like every other fish taco, it's cured! We also very much enjoyed the fried chicken. It may be the best fried chicken in the city. The cocktails were also amazing. This is a great place for dinner or just drinks. The price wasn't too expensive either.
Very disappointed with the brunch we had at Julep today. First of all, the service was great, no complaints there. But the food was very poor, which is extra disappointing given the prices they charge. Both dishes came with "greens" which were nothing more than mixed greens with some (very little) dressing drizzled on top. A greens salad like this should at the very least be mixed/tossed in dressing. The Lobster Benny was ice cold, not an exaggeration. The potatoes that came with it were completely unseasoned and bland. The Shakshuka was also just plain bad and lacking flavour. It was nothing more than a couple eggs mixed with crushed tomato baked in an iron skillet. No seasoning or flavour whatsoever, and very runny/watery. It was served with a very small slice of baguette which was not nearly enough bread to soak up the runny mess. I typically don't go out of my way to post negative reviews but I was truly astonished (in a bad way) with the quality of food served, especially given the price. I've heard good things about this place but the brunch was terrible. Honestly the most expensive and disappointing brunch I've ever had.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. I started off with a few oysters that were delicious and really fun, with a bourbon mister. My steak was nicely done. Service was very good and friendly.
Exceptional, and I am a foodie, and you can't go wrong with any meal here. They were busy even on a Thursday, but they still were able to call me when a table was available, so glad I decided to give it a try, all employees are wearing masks now re: previous review. I would stop here again next time I am in Halifax!

The service was great along with the food!
Great service, good food. A little pricey but not unreasonably so. Great bourbon
Excellent bar staff and an almost cripplingly good cocktail menu. The drinks here are stunning and the design and build of the cocktails are both innovative and original. Don't sleep on this Halifax's bar.
Good cocktails, chic atmosphere, but very loud.
Really great service, excellent food! Always a good experience here.
Andrew was an amazing bartender! He made us delicious drinks and made us feel at home. Would definitely come back just for him <3
The gnocchi was way too salty and buttery. Portion size was good. Appetizers were just ok. Carrots just tasted like butter and cost $17 which is wild. The restaurant itself is very pretty, I feel like it has potential but wouldn’t eat there again.
Went for a quick dinner before an event. Small delicious plates. Our dinner was amazing and our server, Taylor was even better! Dinner was so good we decided to get the dessert platter as well, and were so glad we tried it! Our server and the kitchen were super helpful, working together to accommodate our dietary restrictions!
This was my first time going into this restaurant I must say the atmosphere was very nice, I was just hanging out with a friend and didn't feel that hungry so I went for an appetizer, which was the beef tartare. When the food arrived the plate looked lovely and omg that beef tartare was bloody damn good not the best i had but really up there, thanks for that great appetizer, cant wait to go back again and try a main dish!!!
Good food and service. Would recommend for a fun evening out
Best cocktails in the city
Great drinks + funky vibe
Great food and local wine menu!
Amazing food and presentation. Grounds are beautiful!
Very good food and surprisingly big portions. Great service too!
Great cocktails excellent food radical space. Clean and comfortable friendly and knowledgeable staff! Great location! Recommended reservations for dinner.
Love this place!
Their food is great and the service is superb. When we were dining here, there was a drunk couple sitting near us who were behaving a bit inappropriately. We didn’t mind it really but when the waiter brought our check, he said we took care of your drinks as an apology for the behaviour of the loud couple. It was a very nice and professional gesture.
Amazing cocktails! We called 30 minutes before close to see if we could squeeze in a quick drink and we were so surprised to see how accommodating they were! They offered us a spot at the bar and we had a wonderful time! We will be back to try some food soon!
Loved it! Very fresh. Dessert platter is insane!
A new to me place. The atmosphere is nice, the servers friendly. The food was good, a bit pricey for a lunch special but a nice location for tourists between activities. If you are lucky you can reach two pokestops, if you are unlucky you will lure up those pokestops and then drift away from both for the entirety of the lures.
Excellent food, beautiful setting, and fantastic wait staff. Worth every penny.
Did takeout with Julep tonight for the first time since they were delivering at the beginning of COVID - this restaurant continues to be amazing! They know how to serve their high quality menu items well for takeout, something other restaurants struggle with. Still hot when I got home, and delicious. Had the fried artichokes, butternut squash tortellini and seafood stew. Would eat again in a heartbeat. I can’t wait to sit down here regularly when the pandemic ends. Julep has been serving Halifax so well throughout this difficult time - I am grateful for the work you have done! Appreciate being able to have a date night at home. Customer for life.
Great tasting plates and mains on the menu. We really enjoyed the lobster beignets, seared scallops and braised rabbit ravioli.
Excellent service, cool and friendly place, excellent food. I loved the preparation of the meat. It melted in my mouth, a delight.
Overall great vibe, great food, great service... oh yeah... great cocktails!
I would recommend trying the "off the menu" cocktails---the bartender will make you anything you please and will customize to your liking. The bartender here, Adam, is fantastic! Food is wonderful too.
Great place; a must do in Halifax

Really good atmosphere. Great food. Great decor. Good servers . It's a really good spot to eat
Lunch
The food was phenomenal, as was the service! We had our friend's birthday there last night and they made it an experience to remember (that truffled honey though!)!
I would give a better review if I received a better service. The food was pretty good, and I like the pear salad a lot. I'm not sure if the server had a bad day or what, because she didn't seem to have a welcoming attitude, very cold. I was there for the burger week when they advertise for their duck burger and I was told they don't have duck... (speechless)
It's ok. At this tier of restaurant there's nothing that really stands out and makes me want to rush back. Atmosphere is nice. Food is pretty good and diverse. Staff is professional. But that's about the same as every other Halifax restaurant in this price point. You'll enjoy yourself but it'll be as memorable as a half dozen other options around town.
Great drinks, nice atmosphere. Presentation of food and menu in general was impressive. Decent bourbon selection as well. Looks like a great place for a date.
Everything was delicious and very well prepared. The blends of flavours were really something special.
Beautiful venue and kind staff. Prices are on the expensive side.
Amazing experience. Everything we ate was incredible, all drinks were fantastic.. and best of all our server was the best!!! He was so helpful, and was great with his recommendations.
Excellent service...Excellent food!!

Cocktails are beyond fine dining; excellent selection and execution. Food was delicious and service very attentive.
Cant say much about the food but the cocktail menu is fantastic, and I love the leave it to us option, great way to find new drinks!
Excellent cocktails. Their lamb rack with risotto and their duck confit were delicious. I'd also recommend the beef tartare.
Fantastic and friendly staff, great service, great food, great drinks. Wonderful all around. A+.
Classic western food (ie, burgers, gnocchi, steaks, chicken, etc) with some southern twists. Food was delicious, portions were very reasonable, and the wines were great. Waitress was friendly, but seemed a little uncomfortable serving, as if she was new to the job. In general, would recommend for a fancy night out
On the pricier side but worth every penny. Fast service, delicious food (we had the special and the gnocchi) and very impressive cocktails. We'll be back.
Update 2021. Food is inconsistent. Service is fine. Don’t expect refined service in any way. Fantastic. Simply fantastic. I love the twist they put on each dish. I highly recommend. And the service during my most recent visits has been spectacular. Not something I say lightly about service in Halifax.
Awesome atmosphere, great food Our hotel gave us a few recommendations and this place had fresh chuck burgers, buttermilk fried chicken AND oysters - we were in. Yes, the bar is very serious about their drinks but don’t overlook the food here. They really are precise and well portioned. The burger chuck was outstanding, flavour and perfectly cooked with a smart choice of bread (and a lot of fries, value). Buttermilk chicken was a smaller portion but outstandingly we’ll prepared and may I say, the coleslaw! Usually sloppily prepared and just an afterthought but their coleslaw was a cut above the picnic garbage most places serve. Lastly, the Oysters were expertly shucked (most places spill half the juice out!), these were really great. Big airy place, love the atmosphere.
I really enjoyed my visit, the young fellow who owns this establishment is awesome! His energy and friendliness is a Five Star Plus!
We stopped in for lunch after visiting the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia on a whim. The restaurant looked great and definitely had a lunch crowd. After getting our vaccine documents checked we were quickly seated. I tried the signature Mint Julep. I've often heard of the drink but I had never tried one. The presentation was quite nice in a pewter glass and a sprig of mint. The bourbon flavour is strong in a Mint Julep and I am not sure if I will drink one often. Bourbon and Southern cuisine are the food themes at Julep. I had the Kentuckiyaki Burger and my wife had the Bacon and Bosch Pear Salad. The burger was very flavourful on a gluten free bun and the fries done in a stand alone gluten free deep fryer. The Muffuletta relish added a great salty olive note to the burger that really kicked it up! The fries were perfect as well. My wife was very happy with her salad. I could see large chunks of bacon and slices of parmesan cheese amongst the salad greens. Our waiter was perfect. He paid attention to our dietary and taste concerns. He was welcoming and friendly, knowledgeable but didn't crowd us. Our lunch at Julep in Halifax was great. One of the high points of our anniversary visit to Halifax.

Some of the best mussels I've had, hands down. We came here pretty late for a small bite to eat and saw mussels were on the menu. We ordered the mussels and fries and they were so so delicious. Really good portion size, even shared between two people. Everything was delicious. I would definitely come here again and order the same thing but next time mussels x2. Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere ! food was good. But ordered to much fried food. If your gonna charge that much $$$. food needs to be unreal.
Enjoyed the ambiance and the food was tasty. It was a bit loud which made it difficult to hear the person I was with, but otherwise an enjoyable experience. Fairly priced for what you get.
Almost perfect with one caveat below. Great cocktails (the Julep is a must try southern cocktail that you can drink in New Orleans and … in Halifax!), beautiful selection of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick oysters, and really thoughtful and complex cuisine with fresh ingredients — nothing is neglected, eg the veggies are perfectly cooked, even as a side dish. Service was also good, with one major caveat: the front staff repeatedly tells you that you have to vacate your table after 90 minutes. Given the time it takes for the food and drinks to come, this is simply not enough. So you’re in the middle of your entrée, spent a significant amount, and you’re supposed to speed up? The waiting staff should send the message to the staff managing the bookings that this is simply not enough time — and frankly a bit rude. This would be 5 stars if we actually had time to eat. Perhaps good for speed dating. Who knows.
They could be friendlier;) the food was amazing though
First time in Halifax this restaurant was suggested to us and it didn't disappoint a must eat locale
Delightful atmosphere, attentive staff and amazing food. I will definitely be back.
No question top 3 cocktail spot in Halifax!
What an amazing atmosphere, food and drinks were incredible.
It's a fine place, they have cool drink options, very chic interior, but the food is expensive and the lunch menu didn't have a lot of options, the price was very steep for what we got
Love this place!!!
Our server has been delightful and the food has been delicious. The ambiance is amazing as they have keep alot of the original building in view. Other then a minor blip when seated everything has been enjoyable.
#HFXTacoweek cauliflower was fantastic with the chimichurri sauce, garlic remoulade and hot sauce. Also had to get the lobster beignets because they're irresistable.
I love this place. Food is amazing, drinks are delish and the staff make you want to come back. Love love love
A nice place to sit and chat and have some great food. Portions are the perfect size and tasted amazing. Had a tropical cocktail that was heaven in a glass. Would have loved to have another but unfortunately had to drive home. Would definitely highly recommend this place and I will definitely be returning. Not for just great food and drinks but five star customer service. Great job all.
There was a fishy taste to my meal. When I asked the staff I was told it was in my head. I was not impressed.
Staff and food was great
One of the best spots in the city definitely. Bartender is fantastic and was able to make a drink on the spot. The food is really good along with the ambience. The fried chicken was one of the best and also the Paella is amazing. The cold Scallop ceviche and clam based starter was great as well. Its definitely among my top 10 fav restaurants in Halifax.
Wonderful service. Attentive staff. Fun and energetic vibe. Beautiful atmosphere. Will be adding this place to my rotation!
Absolutely the best experience in a weekend food tour of Halifax. Robbie is an exceptional server who brings an amazing energy to the restaurant that is unparalleled. Thanks from the business babes!
Very rushed service. They were late having our reserved table ready and had it reserved again for an hour and a half after we were seated. Fried chicken was dry and batter tasted burnt.
Went here for a birthday dinner and it was such a wonderful experience! Exceptional service, delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere... Will definitely be back!
Top notch. There are many good restaurants in Halifax, but none better than Julep. The service was impeccable and the scallops were done perfectly. You must have dinner here.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, yummy food, reasonable prices!
This is easily the best place for cocktails in town. The service is always amazing. The best thing on the drink menu is the personalized cocktail!
Nice and polite staff! Good beer!
Fantastic service. Had mussels, tuna sandwich and the NS Lobster Beignets.
Great new restaurant in town. Super friendly and attentive staff, terrific cocktails, good range of reasonable and tasty wines, and really yummy food. Reasonably priced. We started with delicious dumplings (appie), then onto 4 cheese gnocchi, prepared to just the right texture and taste and tenderloin with super savoury sauce & yummy fries. Generous portions too. Great attention to detail (see the steak knife and plate shape in photo with half-eaten steak!!l). Congratulations Brian & team!
Rooting for this place (love Chainyard) but the 5 star reviews are not realistic at all. Heavy handed with the flavors, no balance in any of the four dishes we tried. Lovely hostess, inexperienced table service. Cocktail was average. Room for improvement.
All the food is amazing, everything in cast iron is so good. Two words: Cauliflower Tacos.
Amazing food and service. Brian, the owner/operator is so knowledgeable and has such a great attitude to serving an experiance to the customer. Food was so good, the selection of spirits was huge. Also the vibe with with the green plants but also the exposed brick was so unique. In the time I was there I saw such an eclectic diverse customer base come thru the door. Was a great experiance. Will do it often.
Beautiful cocktail menu and wonderful atmosphere, the cocktails are priced high for the area but are impeccably well made. Really lovely staff. Do give it a try, this place is a great spot for cocktails and food!
They take a basic dish like a club sandwich and make it their own. Their fried chicken club is a one of a kind. Sorry for no photo, it disappeared too quickly.
Lunch
Excellent drinks great atmosphere.
Brunch experience absolutely SLAPPED across the board from service to atmosphere to the food
Great cocktail menu, very fresh and inspired. Nice ambiance, a great date night location. Friendly staff, our bartender was attentive and funny. They will make you a custom cocktail, just let them know your flavour preferences. Will go back.
Amazing eats
Very nice place with good interior design. The food was good, as well as the service.

Amazing place, great food, awesome atmosphere, fabulous service, and a great, creative concept.
It's pricey, but it does not disappoint. Top notch and very thoughtful cocktails, decor is beautiful. I highly recommend letting the staff curate the experience, they know what they're doing.
Emily, the hostess, baffled me. She was so welcoming, articulate, witty and professional. She accommodated us when another staff said no. Very good at her job, very sweet, humble but confident and competent. The food and drinks and service were lovely too, but I have never had such a great experience from the get-go

(Translated) Great atmosphere, great food, young troupe - a highlight! (Original) Tolle Atmosphäre, tolles Essen, junge Truppe - ein Highlight!
Amazing food especially the fat chuck burger. The atmosphere is great. I would recommend this place to any Ontarian that is visiting.
Great location, friendly staff, beautiful decor and awesome cocktails. Highly recommended
Stopped in for a bite to eat and drinks on a hot day. My husband and I shared a sandwich as we just needed a little something. We ordered the crispy chicken ceaser BLT. The best sandwich I've ever had, I mean ever!!!! We are from Ontario and heading home now but I was already thinking I want that sandwich!!! Great experience and excellent food!! Great waitress also from Ontario! My compliments to the chef!
Service was a little slow but the hemmingway cocktail was delicious as were all of our meal choices.
This is a must do for foodies! From the appetizers, salads thru to the dessert board, this is the place to be. The servers were attentive without being intrusive and the atmosphere was on point. Bathrooms and dining area were VERY clean.
Asked if the dish was available without mushrooms as I am allergic, they said no problem. Just as they brought out the rest of our tables food they inform me they cant make it without mushrooms and asked if I wanted something else - mean while my company has already been served their mains. Nothing was offered to compensate for the bad service, left without eating.
Great service! Staff were attentive and were knowledgeable with the menu and mixed beverages. Food and beverages were to die for! The restaurant had a wonderful vibe and ambience! On a Monday, this Resto was pretty busy. Would definitely recommend.
it's place that has great tasting food and beautiful atmosphere pleasing host and services will be well noticed. I will go again
Dinner
The menu is always interesting and the drinks are extremely well made. Unfortunately I don't see the value in dining here for the high price though. The food is above average but not worth the prices being charged.
Dinner
I've been to Julep twice now, both times with persons with (dis)abilities, and one guest with a dietary constraint (they have Celiac). Both visits Julep staff have been so amazing. The entry way into the main restaurant is even with the sidewalk very slight door frame bumps, making it easy for my dinner guests to come through the doors. The door to the exterior has an accessibility button to open and it actually stays open for a good period of time! The entrance way is slightly narrow as it's two doors close together but easy to navigate without much issues. The second door is propped open. The dining area inside is all on a smooth floor (no steps or stairs) and chairs can easily be moved around to accommodate various sitting needs. There are some tables with one side of the table having booth seating as well. There are also tall tables with bar stools too. No one in my parties went to the bathrooms, but I do believe that they are up a set of stairs (happy to be corrected on that). Could be handy to keep in mind if attending and stairs are an accessibility issue. There is a second door that is street accessible that would lead to where I believe the bathrooms are. So you would have to exit from the front of the building, go up the hill/sidewalk, then re-enter at the second door. The wait staff were fantastic. They were patient with everyone in my parties, up-beat, willing to talk about every ingredient in the dishes, and also came down to seated eye level for everyone when talking and taking orders for better audio volume and connection. When making the latest reservation my party asked about food accommodations for celiac needs and they said they can definitely support this. When seated and going over the menu our wait staff explained about the items on the menu that can be made entirely gluten free (all but three items!!). We were also informed about their gluten free prep area, fryer, and various other precautions they take. Food was absolutely delicious and we loved their cocktails.
Amazing gnocchi, ravioli & delish desert board. A lovely spot for lunch!
Great spot, great service, fast and efficient.
Recently opened, this fairly chic - let's call it "up casual" - restaurant, is off to a promising start. The decore strikes a nice balance between "on trend" and being carefully crafter to a unique personality. The front of house service is exemplary. The staff move with the confidence and grace of a modern dancer. They were there exactly 5 seconds before you realized you needed something else, effortlessly friendly, and invisibly professional. Top that all off with how quirky and elegant their uniforms are - better street clothes of their individual choosing, plus one discreet little julep logo pin. Very modern. Once the food arrived, our enthusiasm took a little hit. First the smoked tuna butter. For starters, butter is a smooth creamy mass. This was, let's say, flaky pate? The texture was too hard and crumbly to do anything other than break the crackers presented with it. On the flavour spectrum the dish seemed to struggle to figure out what it should taste like. In a word, bland. This was a great primer of the fried chicken that we tried next. Juicey, spicey, moist, tender, covered in a exciting blend of spices that lent not only vibrant colour but an incredible perfume to the whole thing. Fried chicken that is second to few out there. Koodos. That said, the coleslaw that it is paired with appeared to be there for the benefit of contrast. It was oddly dry and woody, and refused to make up its mind about wether it was a vinager based slaw, or a mayo based slaw. Instead it opted to go for being bitter? I do hope the julep kitchen revisits this element. And finally the bacon peach salad, topped with - I wanna say - shaved manchego. This is a perfect salad. The savory chunks of bacon and cheese marry so well with the sweet nibbles of peach preserves. The portion size is exactly satisfying, and the dressing marries the greens with the sweet and savour with a delicately balanced combo of acid oil and essence. An unexpected triumph of a dish. The highs and lows continue with the cocktails. The sezarac - suffered for it's astringency and bitterness overwhelming the sweetness and perfume of the base bourbon, but... Saint Paula daiquiri - a playful tropical blend that isn't too sweet, and really plays with your expectations with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top of the foam that really gives your pallette something to think about... And then... The peach julep - sadly fell on the dilute and bland side, which was redeemed by... The best of both worlds - first it gets you with a tickle of bitter, but then that quickly opens up to be a bouquet of herbal depth all to be finished off with a clean little sweet tickle. The nailed the hell out of this one.
It was okay not as good as they should be. The place is beautiful and staff were nice. The appetizer came out less than minute from ordering it so it was dry. the food was mediocre our table had the duck, steak and lamb and it was mediocre could get that at a less fine establishment.
Great cocktails both original and twists on classics
Great drinks, great service!
Great atmosphere and the food and service was great!!
We went to Julep for dinner a month ago. We had a great evening, food and service were excellent. They have a fantastic atmosphere, highly recommend!

Service
Great environment. Chowder was exceptional. Mint Julip was syrupy and tasty, but the pour was ungenerous. After 4 slurps any that might have been remaining was locked in a dense slush ball. Unavailable for consumption. Would go back tomorrow.
