The lasgna was terrible. I ordered delivery. It came in a 3x6 pan, so tiny. And where's the sauce? No meat sauce in sight. Literally just noodles and ricotta. So dry and tasteless. It looked like it was slapped together quickly. Would have rather they served me a ready made lasagne from.frozen, but properly made. Not worth it for $15. Also received tiny piece of garlic bread with hardly any butter on it. See pic: fork for scale. The ACE burger that we also ordered was fine and yummy. Seasoned fries a plus.

Slowest service ever. Been twice now and both times the wait for food and even drinks was glacial. it took 90 minutes to be served burgers and salads last night. They were severely understaffed and I think the kitchen must be a nightmare to work in as this is the second time with the same experience. The food was ok but just not worth the wait. Won't be returning.

Our party ordered nachos, poutine, and the chicken gyoza. Asked for extra cheese on the nachos and it barely had any cheese. The gyoza fell apart everywhere and didn’t taste very good at all. I was told the poutine was delicious but I didn’t have any myself. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, and did replace the nachos with cheesier ones. She was very talkative though, and didn’t want to let us have our own conversations. But she was very nice and friendly and didn’t make any mistakes. In the end we left having had a good time and feeling full, which is exactly why we went there to start with.

The food was really cold and took forever. We didn't all get our food at the same time some had to wait while others ate their cold food. The rum and coke were so tiny, I've never seen such a small glass before and they were $6.50. I'll never go back!

First time ever yesterday. Heard good things from a colleague so decided to go. Took a group of 10 including my 14 and 12 year old daughters. We all enjoyed the food. Good value and we went during happy hour so got some good deals. Would definitely go again. I just wish it wasn't so dark in there. A few of the people we were with said the same. Also took a bit long for food to come but the food was great. Great portions.

Very good wings. Service is alright... Unless you get Erica. She's on the ball and very personable. The mango Habanero wings are primo. Tuesday is wing night for 5$ a lb. The atmosphere is very relaxed and quite the bustling place. The beef dip and Parm chips are great too! They could turn the music down a bit but when it's a busy night it's nice to not have to hear everyone else's convo. I enjoy it. Oh and they need to fix their wifi. Free wifi tho.

I've never had an issue with the serving but the food quality has seriously deteriorated over the last few years. Original Joe's used to be a great spot to hangout but their appetizer menu is now very bad and the rest of their menu is more premium priced for an average quality meal. I went there recently and got a drink and poutine and the poutine fries were very burnt. I didn't complain, I don't think it would've got much better.

Even though this place forces me to get 2 sides and a large main plus a drink and tip on top of it, it's alright. Had a hair served to me in my cup of dill dip. Manager brought me a new one a little too fast for my liking, is it made in house or did you just give me more hair dip? He also offered me a dessert, to make up for the hair.

My wife and brother in law used to work at this location and they always rave about the quality of food because they know how it was made. They make almost everything from scratch (even their tortilla chips on their large nacho platters). The prices are very reasonable, they have a ton of great beer on tap, and their food is awesome. There is a reason this place is always busy.

Fast service even on a busy night. Great tasting food and a nice setting to eat when it's not fully seated. When it is busy it gets extremely loud and just with voice chatter of people yelling over one and other. The lay out does not help the noise issue and it almost causes it to echoe. But the good and service is great. Just the particular location in grande prairie could use with renovations.

Good spot to hit for lunch. It can get crowded and it's not over staffed so it's not a quick spot to eat. On the other hand that means the food is cooked fresh. I had the Poutine and the club. Both were good but I would not get the Poutine if alone it's large for one person. Staff was great very friendly and accommodating.

Foods great and all but I'm getting annoyed when I order from skip and we have 15-20 min to place an order. We take 1 min to fill everything out then boom closed... This has happened quite a few times. Our skip orders are always $60+ so I spent my money with someone else that closes their skip at its proper time. Now Dec 24th and they say they will get back to me within 2 days. Been since Dec 7. Guess I'm not a good enough customer skipping with them 6 times a month. Your loss not mine

I ordered the notchos take out I gotta say they were the worst ever!! I paid for spicy beef, almost none. Cheese almost none. A few veggies on the bottom. Paid for extra sour cream and salsa at 2.00 each and didn't get that. I will never go here again. They should be ashamed to put that out of a kitchen. 30.00 and it went in the garage.

Garbage. Poor service. Usually service is hit and miss, tonight was a hard miss. I had to ask twice for a drink which was a half hour wait in between even asking because we werent checked on. Food tasted burnt. Waitress refused to let me order two sides of gravy with my fries and told me I could just have dill dip. All in all terrible experience, I won't be back.

Good atmosphere, only been there once and had the spicey beef nachos. The best part of that meal was the salsa. The beef tasted terrible. It was burnt in some places,very bland, dry and tasted like its been frozen for 2 weeks. Saying i paid an extra 5$ for "spicy beef" i was greatly disappointed. I tried the beef by it self and it put me off my appetite. Im no chef by any means but i can definitely make a better plate of nachos with the same ingredients that was put into that meal.

I went to original joes in Langley for my first time and had an incredible meal. We had a group of approximately 20 people and we were treated wonderfully. The staff at this location were very friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our food and drinks came out very quickly and were absolutely delicious. I would recommend this location to anyone. Thanks for the great meal and exceptional service.

This used to be the best restaurant/pub/bar in St. Albert in my humble opinion. It used to be my friends' local but they are currently looking for a new one. The problem arises first with their current bartender. The last three times I have visited over the summer he has fully lived up to my first impression of being the World's Most Miserable Bartender. I have never seen him crack a smile. He greeted us and others like they depressed him. This behaviour and attitude is night and day versus the old bartender that worked at this location for many many years (name begins with a D). Second, the waitresses seem to all mimic the bartender. I never saw one smile in the whole house. This was due partly to them being understaffed. Our waitress explained that this was due to a busier than expected Saturday and many orders through online ordering. But I feel the tone of the restaurant begins and ends with the manager on the floor, the bartender. Third, the food has taken a serious hit. Portions seem to have shrunk but the main issue is the taste. It is somewhat of a joke. I rate the food 2.5-3 out of 5 for the prices you pay and versus how it used to be - maybe a 4.3/5. Management/the owner need to urgently address these issues. I sadly won't be coming back until I hear of changes to the above (which is terrible because this has been my local since it opened ten years ago and I struggle to think of a replacement in St Albert). In summary, it's deplorable compared to how it used to be for so many years.

The first time I had a beef dip at Original Joe's it was the best I'd ever had. The Ceasar Salad was fantastic. Unfortunately I came in this time and was told it now had mushrooms and swiss. Figured why not? Try it. HORRIBLE. The beef tasted like leftovers. PLEASE go back to your original beef dip. The caesar used to come with sauce on the side..now it's all put together for me. TERRIBLE. Unless you change it back I will NEVER order another dip or salad . I gave a 2 only because I like the bag. Thanks One HUGELY disappointed Customer.

I like the patio and OJs has great happy hpur specials. Good food, and nice servers. [EDIT] I had to decrease this down to 2 stars from my original 5 because the last 3 times I have been in there on the patio, the servers i have had were slow, disinterested, took forever to come back in between drinks. The last time another table that came in shortly after my table waited and waited. One of them eventually had to go and find the server. I even went inside and there wasn't alot of tables on the inside, even if she did have tables in there. So in my mind there is absolutely no reason so such slow service.

Ordered last night , the dragon boat lettuce wraps and a calamari, i live two minutes away from original joes, the calamari was half cold and other pieces were warm. It over all wasn’t the worst. But you expect it to all be warm atleast. The worst was the dragon boat lettuce wraps I received. There was little, to No filling definitely not enough for 6 lettuce wraps. Barley any chicken.I received more lettuce then actual food. Very disappointed ????

He was relegated to the status of a second class citizens and told by the Restaurant's service staff that he shouldn't even leave home. His Dr does not share that opinion, not that it is their business. My friend was also fully vaccinated.

I just popped in after work, as I usually do when I work late. (About once a week, I'm off at 11:20pm, so I come here after) Tonight, I came in around 11:35. The waitress didn't seem very pleasant at all! I am a regular, & have never seen someone so unhappy to be working!!! I give her credit for not verbalizing it, but it was obvious that she wanted to just leave! So she brought me my 2 appies (Lettuce Wraps), & then I didn't see her again. She never asked once how I was, or if I needed anything. The bartender, Miranda, came over to "finish me up". Miranda is a great server, & seems like she actually enjoys her job! If I ever come back here, I will NOT be served by that woman! Certain people should NOT deal with customers!!! I got her name, but I won't post it for thousands of people to see. The food here is absolutely amazing, & I think everyone should give it a try!!!

If the world ever returns to normal perhaps the prices will fall but otherwise based on the food, the ambiance, the service, the prices are quite high. I have empathy for all people in business and understand how it is tougher these days. However it is tough on everyone and at these prices, I certainly can't say it is a four star. I hope this helps

Wife's experience: not a place to bring young children! Was seated with no kids menu or crayons. We had to ask for it after 10 minutes of sitting. I visited this place tonight with a bunch of my friends..we were served by this ARROGANT bartender named David..not sure about the name though. He was the only one on the floor. We asked him for a to-go cutlery and he bluntly refused without even checking and was super rude to us. I definitely won’t recommend this place as the staff needs to learn some basic etiquettes. We spent over 150$ there and this the service that they have to offer. Highly disappointed!!

My parents got a meal from Original Joe's St. Albert location on July 14, 2020. It was for my Mom's birthday dinner, however the meal was completely soggy and wet. My Mom's chicken burger was soggy, the bun was sopping wet and the fries were also soggy and cold. When we contacted them about the poor quality of the food and the fact they never provided a receipt(which also seems like poor quality of service). They took no responsibility and offered no solution to make up for this. They said it was the packaging and that they had no intention on improving this very poor experience that took place. We will never waste our money or time with this location again.

Although there was a frustratingly long line to be seated, my dinner salad was tasty. The menu was adequate, but because it is a chain, somewhat lacking in originality. Staff are friendly, but their unclear policy on reservations meant that staff who followed management's directions were faced with frustrated customers who had been waiting over an hour to be seated, while several empty tables had "reserved" signs on them for more than that length of time. Kitchen time was a bit slow the day of our visit, but this may not be typical. I wouldn't complain, but I probably won't be back, either.

Always friendly service and drinks rarely hit bottom. I love that there are no minors allowed and the drink specials are great too. My husband and I go regularly and we always take our visitors for a casual time with good food. Fish and chips are amazing.

Ordered 15 piece chicken tenders bundle, last time I checked 12 pieces is less than 15 pieces. Not to impressed with the cold meal.... Tried to give them a second chance but we got cold food, and never before have I had fries that were both burned and soggy.

Usually never in this area of town. So first time here. Greeted by nice staff since I was first one arriving I could choose the table . Atmosphere is trendy. They had hockey on the screens. My friends arrived and suggested the 5.00 breakfast. So I tried it. Great value but next time I will just order off the menu. Easy access with plenty of parking. I believe they are part of the Cara group which is Milestones,Keg, Pickle Barrel, Montana's and Harvey's. Give it a try you cant go wrong

Tasty pub food and great drinks. The portions are huge and their "thing" is you get two side dishes with each meal. you will not leave hungry. Nice atmosphere for a pub. The patio is nice too (if you can ignore it facing a parking lot). Service was really good. I'd go back.

We were abandoned by 2 waitresses.... no heads up just left. When I went to investigate was made to feel like it was our fault we could wait. We were left without service for 15 minutes, watched as our waitress was preoccupied at various points around us... when I finally sought service she blamed it on a large table closing their bills. We however saw her busy everywhere else but... so lame excuse for poor service. Then she lacked the courage to apologize & continue to serve us. Thankfully the bartender was cool & took care of us. Missed out on loyal customers who tip 15%. Food was good, ambiance was good.... server sucked. We will spend our time & hard earned money elsewhere!

Love the atmosphere, come here on weekends with the wife for brunch usually. Classic menu with a few minor twists but enough that you can be adventurous if you want without loosing your staples. Food is always good. Staff changes a bit but 95% of the time staff is amazing. Overall its my weekend go to in st.albert

The food was amazing! Menu has lots of desirable choices but not an overwhelming amount of items. Quesadilla and sweet potato fries were delicious. Clean, pub styled atmosphere with great service.

I went with my husband and our 3 boys for dinner and it was great! They put us in a corner by a tv and window with some colouring books and my kids were entertained. The food was great, I highly recommend their Fish Taco. Their gluten and dairy free options are very good and varied, so I didn't feel restricted in my choices!

My wife and I love this place and get all our cute little pet names from their menu. She calls me her Dynamite Shrimp and she's my little Margherita Flatbread. She always asks for my California Cobb leading up to her Buttered Chicken. I am a gentleman so I always comply with the ol' Original Double Dog and a side of my Beef Dip. We've recently even been experimenting with my Beyond Meat, but we love the safety of falling back on her Long Beach Fish Taco. For dessert, I simply cannot resist her Dirt Pie. If you are adventurous, I recommend trying the Mexican Bulldog, Moscow Mule or my specialty the Back Porch Lemonade. These moves are only to be tried by consenting professionals over the age of 18 who are responsible and know what they are doing! These are not for first timers or faint of heart, I cannot stress this enough. Stay safe out there kids. Use protection. They really should make you sign a waiver.

Tonight I went there with my mom and our server Natasha was initially very nice, but she became quite rude throughout the experience. We ended up leaving because we felt like we inconvenienced her everytime we wanted something.

My husband and I ordered pick up from them about 3 weeks ago. My husband ordered their bruschetta chicken fettuchini pasta dish. Called them when they forgot to put in the fettuccine. They said they would leave a $20 gift card at the front counter for us to rectify the order. So we decided to go dine in last night. We asked our server if our gift card was waiting for us. She inquired with the manager. She came back to the table to inform us that we did have the card waiting for us. Cool. So we order or dinner, we wait for about 30 minutes. The people beside us who had came in 20 minutes after us, received their food first. And then the next person who came in after us gets their food. The server says she will go check on our order. Comes back to the table and explains that she is unsure what happened to our order but it was coming up right away. Another 20 minutes go by and she says they are just plating the order. After another 10 minutes go bye, we walked out. We sat and waited for 60 minutes. Now, I've been in the service industry for a very long time. (About 20 years) When eating out, I would be considerate of the time of the evening, the amount of skip orders they have, how busy their pick up orders are. However, they had food flying out of the kitchen. The restaurant was sitting at about 50% capacity when we arrived, and about half of those tables were already eating. I always do a room scan when I walk into a restaurant, I check tables for food, drinks, just to see what kind of service is happening. Our server had 4 tables when we arrived, 2 of them were already eating, us being the 5th. Once we were seated and AFTER ordering, she got another 3 tables. 2 of those tables got their food before us before the server made an effort to see what happened. The manager was packing orders the whole time we were there. Had an order ticket been up, he would have been on the kitchen staff to get it done. We ordered a burger and a wrap.... nothing fancy. The server gave us an excuse that she didn't know what happened. I'm pretty sure she forgot to even put in our order. So much for our first date night in about 2 years.
