Food is always good. Wait staff would rather spend their time talking back and forth then to the customer standing in front of them. I know you guys just re-opened and its hard for everyone but when I'm standing in front of you placing and order you should listen and not be trying to have a laugh with the other wait staff. Very busy spot! Service was great, food was delicious, the meal was nice a hot when it came out! The sweet potato fries are cooked to perfection. Fish and chips were battered just right and the fish was beautiful! The turkey dinner was full of flavour and had all the fixings! Can't wait to go back!

Very reasonable prices for large portion sizes. Fantastic service and quick! I can see why this place is so busy. Food won’t exactly blow you away, but it is what you would expect from a typical diner. Come with an appetite, you won’t be disappointed.

Wow what a great spot for good home cooking. The service was excellent. It was 330 in the afternoon and the place was packed. We waited a few minutes for a table, and the Clam Chowder and Fish cakes were just like my mom used to make. We are all from Saskatchewan and would recomend it for highly this rest

I really love eating at this place. I got the breakfast club, which I've never had before, and it was excellent. It was busy, but it's always busy, so expect to wait a bit for a seat. Also, they completely changed their decor for winter, which was a nice touch, even if the sea shanta above the counter comes off more creepy than cheeky.

Had Haddock and chips. Service was good food was delusions. Only negative was they ran out of fresh cut potatoes. Come on guys. Send somebody out to pick up potatoes. Would have been a 5 Star. I’m a tough one when it comes to restaurants. I owned one for 4 years and never ran out of anything. Great spot!

Most likely the best restaurant in Glace Bay. Featured on Canadian national TV shows it certainly lives up to it's reputation. Cozy interior with, of course, high quality food. We enjoyed the Turkey Dinner thoroughly. Make certain you include this beautiful restaurant on your travel bucket list. I should also note the very reasonable price for a high quality meal.

I always ♥ loved going to Colette's when I come home to visit from Ontario..... But this time me and the misses were not impressed with our meal... we had our meal to go... because of COVID-19... when we got home ... it was like the Burger King saying... Where's The Beef !!!!!! There was not much food in the containers... like you would of got if you dine-in.... this might be our last trip to this place when we come home to visit in the near future.

Fantastic food, friendly staff, great prices, and reasonable prices. Tje only real complaint I have is that it may be a victim of it's own success. The dining area is not large and features a small number of tables and a counter. We were there at the tail end of the lunch hour, we had to drive by twice before we could find an empty parking space, and we lucked in to an open table that we squeezed in to given the close proximity of the other tables and chairs. If it hadn't been for the restaurant being featured on TV, we would have likely gone to another restaurant and missed out on the fantastic food.

Had brunch here on this amazing boxing sunny day at Glacebay in Cape Breton Island NS The food was simply Awsome and delicious Don’t forget to order the Traditional Egg Benny comes with poached eggs , ham on English muffin topped with hollandaise sauce, tomato slices and lovely cubed home fries cooked well. 2nd one was the Scottish Toast rolled in Oats & brown sugar with 2 bacon or sausages Excellent place to dine in anytime of the day Also the haddock fish & chips is simply Awsome and the Pork chops too. The servers are so warm and friendly and feels like being with the family even though we’re new to Sydney but this is going to be our next door eat out especially during weekends. Great job guys and appreciate the Chef and the Manager Frankie Keep it up guys and I recommend this quiet place value for you’re paying and the quality is amazing and also the quantity just enough Dec 26 2020. Since last Saturday we’ve already visited 3 times now being new comer to the island so you can imagine how wonderful is their food and whole experience out there

Very small place. Food was Ok. I got the burger and home made fries. Burger was good nothing special. But the fries were way over cooked. My otherhalf got the Thai bowl.... it Looked and tasted like the microwave bowls you buy at Walmart. Frozen vegetables with barely any chicken. And to much sauce. Was pretty disappointed. Considering this place had good past reviews.

I got the lobster roll and potato chips. The lobster bun was about a handful of lobster put on a toasted hot dog bun. No flavor no nothing...I wasn't impressed with it. If you get the box of fries and think they will taste as good as the chip wagon, think again.....Won't be re-ordering this meal.
