This hotel is only used now for locals in the clubs on weekends for hooking up for the night. It has become a bad name in hotels in this town and is now being converted into apartments / condos.

Went on a Monday, which meant we had to order from a "Munchie Menu" since they didn't have a full fledged cook on shift. So our choices were mainly limited to deep fried items, but having said that everything was still tasty and served plenty hot. Prices were reasonable for both food and drinks. After this experience, I would return to try the full menu.

My sister and i went here because we were in a hotel across the road and it was late and we were hungry. Upon entering we almost turned around & left because it was dark and looked sketchy. We stayed because the reviews online we're good so I feel obligated to give a review of our experience. It was Tuesday, Aug 28 & there was only one waitress so she was busy especially since they just opened their new patio so service was a bit slow but she was very friendly & doing the best she could. We ordered the Legends burger with fries and oh my....it was delicious! The fries are to die for...fresh cut & tasty. Would highly recommend this place to travellers. We spoke to a couple as they were leaving and they had the wings & potato skins which they liked too. And a big plus...the women's washroom was super clean! Give it a try ..you will not be disappointed.

I had the good fortune to be passing through Gander some years ago whilst serving in the military, and had a night to kill. So, we asked a local guy who worked at our hotel for a recommendation, and he suggested Legends. We caught a taxi over and found the place to be very lively! Beer was good, food was good, and the locals were amongst the nicest I've met on my travels. One day in the none-too-distant future I plan to travel back to Newfoundland, and Gander (specifically Legends) is on my list of places to visit!!
