The food was pretty good, it came out within an okay time frame but not exceptional. The cheese on my sandwich was a little rubbery but there was a lot of chicken on it. It would probably taste a lot better with some sauce on it as well. The dessert I had, while incredibly delicious had large plastic bits in it and all they did was ask me if I was sure it was plastic even though I had it right on the side of the plate for her to see. It wasn't something that was edible and regardless of if it was actually plastic or something else it should not have been in there. They brought me a new one and didn't even bother asking if I wanted it taken off the bill.

Had the godfather. Alfredo sauce was from a tin can and chicken was unseasoned (not even seasoned with pepper) which made for an extremely bland meal that cost 18 dollars before tax. Would not recommend.

I have went there multiple times and my experience truly depends on which waiter I have. There are been a couple of outstanding waiter's. And then there have been a couple terrible experiences. Nothing is worse then going when it's not all that busy and only seeing your waitress twice. She didnt check back with us to see if the food was ok. We waited 20 mins after we were done our meal and finally just went to the counter to get our bill and had to wait there as well. Most recently we went on mother's day and although it was packed and bills were lined up at the kitchen the service we got made the time waiting feel like nothing at all!

Portions might be a bit small but very good quality. I'm not a big fan of heated plates and all of our plates came out hot. Service was excellent. Menu choice was very diverse. All four of us enjoyed the ordered meals. Plus was given a 10% CAA discount. Yes will visit again.

welcome to the jungle baby ha ha ha! Had the burger and fries. The fries were alright and you could tell the burger was made with some sort of food product. Perhaps cheese was involved. My wife and I spent so much time arguing over the tip that I forgot to take my hair loss pills and we left without paying. I still feel really guilty about it

The waitress showed us our table and that was it. We had to ask if anyone was actually working even though there was 5 waitresses walking around. Wanda was excellent she seemed to be the only one working when we got her attention because she did seem to be doing all the work. then the evening staff rolled in and all stood talking to the afternoon staff while Wanda served tables on her own the food was ok but the staff need to learn how to serve and even smile I've never seen so many miserable faces in one place. I won't be returning

Food not bad, you can't drink at the bar unless you buy food. Unusual payment issue, only one cash out and there is usually a line. Overall I only would go here when there are no other restaurants. It is a great place for children and trays where their focus is.

First time and last time at this location. We were seated quickly and the waitress came quickly. However, that was the last we saw of her. After waiting 30 minutes with no check in from her, we left. I know staffing is an issue in Newfoundland, but this wait was beyond anything acceptable. A “check in” from her would have gone a long way, at least we would have known we were on her radar. Good luck to any other potential customers!

I have always enjoyed JJ's great food decent prices. Lots of options for every taste. My little guy loves it there as well . The monkey fingers (chicken) are nicely breaded actual breast pieces . No chicken mush here. And at the end of the meal they get to choose a toy from the treasure chest . Great place to take the whole family , I definitely recommend trying it out if you are looking for a cheaper place to go with a crowd. One day of the week kids pay a penny per cm of their height so for less than a toonie they get a full meal

Whoever was cooking the food on June 27, 2021 needs to learn how to actually cook nachos, cause throwing them in a microwave is not how you do it. I don't care how busy you are - you cook the food right. Plus I was given two flat glasses of Pepsi, just to add insult to injury.

Went here tonight with wife and friends. We all ordered burgers as we all have before. Wait was fine for a friday in a full restaurant but we were all surprised that the portion size of fries have changed we had kids meals that had twice the fries that we had. My kids had chicken nuggets and fries and they had a nice meal. Never have I went to jungle Jim's and went away hungry but here I sit eating a potato chip lol. It may have been fine but the way they had the paper in the basket for fries didnt let the fill the basket at all.

We had a large group there tonite in the sepertate room for my mothers birthday. The service staff ( ours was Brittney) was awesome! and we all ordered the steak special, and all of us had a great meal with steaks cooked to order perfectly. Great job to the service and kitchen staff! ????
